underappreciated detail in the last few eps of Andor: the dazzling obviousness of the undercover ISB agent staking out cassian's house on Ferrix.

all the cops in this show are evocatively Bad in a variety of amusing ways, but something rly tickles me about his visible inability to blend in. he talks into his surveillance mic in public! he obliviously loiters in a cafe that's already been infiltrated by a rebel spy! his walk looks like he's "patrolling"! even his Disguise Hat looks imperial! perfect stuff.

In a way it's a bleak reminder that rebel lives are reduced to statistics. Chaff, canon fodder. Not only are their names unknown and forgotten, their exact numbers remain mysterious.

It makes sense of course for Luthen to remain studiously vague and acquiesce to Saw, and inflate numbers for Lonni, who needs to feel his worth and the sacrifice others will be made to endure for his sake.

But at the end of the day Kreegyr's team was sacrificed on the altar of rebellion and we can't even tell how large a sacrifice that was.

Know wonder Kallus raised his eyebrows at Ezra using the cover name “Jabber” . Ezra was unknowingly telling Kallus that he was guilty and should be framed and arrested.

Although Kallus probably didn’t really take that into consideration and you decided to roll with Ezra’s fake name until he learned what his real name was.

Someone should now make a fanfic on this.

Fanfic prompt should be Kallus getting ready to go on a undercover mission with Ezra and tell him don’t use the name “Jabber”. Kallus then proceeds to tell Ezra why that is a bad idea.
