No fear, I have done the math for all of you Fanfic authors so we can stop with the confusion.
Eddie’s Third Try at Senior Year is ‘86
Second try was ‘85, originally supposed to graduate in ‘84
Steve Graduated on time in ‘85
Therefore Eddie is one school year above Steve.
Additionally- as far as I am aware, Middle School is 3 years maximum. So, because of context/middle school talent show:
When Chrissy was in 6th grade, Steve was in 7th, and Eddie was in 8th grade- carrying on until Senior Year kept him back.
So Eddie is two school years above Chrissy.
Ages get a little weirder because I don’t know the Hawkins enrolment cut off/school year start. Some places start in August, others September. Some use age at enrollment, others use birth years etc. but, you can use a general 17-18 for Chrissy/the other ‘86 seniors, 18-19 for Steve/‘85 seniors, and place Eddie 19-20. 21 is kind of pushing it unless you go with a mid-year Appalachian transfer fanon- but again it depends on the enrolment of Hawkins.
I know folks who started kindergarten at 3 because they were big & potty trained, but others were delayed until 5. But 4 is average, ergo, let’s go with averages.
Edit: kindergarten apparently isn’t relevant anyways so let’s be glad it was crossed out anyways.

had another thought (oh dear) about sage abilities, specifically koga
i think the yiga teleport while cool, could lead to alot of problems with puzzles and render other things useless; so i thought, what if he gives you the ability to summon a bunch of koga clones? its like what miz kyoshia does so it serves as yet another connection to the ancient shiekah ways and the yiga, its something unique to koga (he does it in his bossfight in the rewrite), still kinda fits the shadow theme and, most importantly, fills the role of the sages in canon totk
in my rewrite you dont have them glitching all around you at all times but summon their ability through the wheel selection thingy and aim it directly (no more chasing after sages and no annoying woop sage got knocked over while charging and you gotta start it again LOOKING AT YOU RIJU) and while you have zelda as a permanent companion and in the sage dungeon the according sage, thats still only two, so the clones would be useful as a distraction for enemies and serve as extra combat support for however long they last
it would also be a bit more spectacular which fits koga well imo
(still unsure about what to do about the spirit sage but im gonna draw a test ability wheel and sort out the other stuff and see whats doable; i really wanna give zelda the light laser too bc hell yeah go girl do some DAMAGE)

The fact that Octopath 1 and TriStrat have the same script definitely raises and reraises theories and questions and old theories about the connection between Orsterra and Norzelia. Even moreso when you take into account the name Aelfric.
That or it was just used for sake of convenience and I'm looking too deep into things haha.
YEAH!!! definitely raises questions at least haha. I'm not as familiar with Octopath lore, but given that they both seem to be happening in their own unique continent and don't talk a lot about what's going on elsewhere on the planet, it totally seems like it could be the same world. The fact that they're visually pretty similar always makes me want to imagine they're in the same universe anyways hahaha.
And the whole Aelfric thing was something I hadn't thought about!! I'll have to dig a little more into Octopath stuff sometime and see what connections there might be there. Would definitely be super cool if there were some crossover in the lore/worldbuilding of the two series

reasons we should invent time travel: so I can go back in time and steal all of Arthur Evans' funding for excavations at Knossos and give it to Minos Kalokairinos, the local Cretan man who was the first to excavate and map Knossos but got kicked out of the picture by Mr I-Have-The-Money-To-Bring-My-Homeric-Wet-Dream-To-Life

Honestly I think that if your Take on Israel involves it being any Special Kind Of Evil it's likely based on some kind of antisemitic theory. The Israeli government is doing blatant crimes against humanity in front of everyone, but it's unfortunately not special. There are multiple genocides ongoing perpetuated by different countries and governments right now because humanity has been doing this since the start of recorded history.
Netanyahu is not a special kind of evil, Israel is not a special kind of evil, its actually an extremely typical kind of evil. Which doesn't mean it can be ignored, absolutely speak out against it and put your voice behind the Palestinian people. They'll need it now that the ceasefire has ended again. But trying to conspiracy theory out how actually the Zionists are running everything or trying to make the Israeli people out as being somehow more evil or more likely to lie than any other group of people? That's just antisemitism and its been rampant ever since people felt like they had an excuse to let loose.

With the zionist propaganda rearing its head within the show itself: reminder that Knuckles in main canon was revealed to be fully indigenous coded (retconned to be, assuming the earlier "Jamaican Knuckles" bit Naka has mentioned in previous interviews had any truth to it) with the Knuckles' Tribe mesoamerican basis with SA1.
