Hey hey! It's been a bit since i've been on this acc; sorry for the lack of content! I have been INCREDIBLY busy with owed art work but am trying to get some design work done inbetween all of that ! (+ i'm slowly. finishing it all off) so expect more designs soon!! I have a lot of Wings of Fire redesigns planned, alongside a ton of Pokemon/The Legend of Zelda/Hollow Knight and maybe some Genshin and Overwatch desgins i'll be posting if people are interested in seeing those!

Gamefreak has been writing legendary Pokémon phenomenally lately, Pokémon like Calyrex and Ogerpon truly feel like friends and companions, like I've not seen a single person ever dislike those two because the game makes them so likable and gives them so much personality and really makes you bond with them so it's genuinely a treat when you get to catch them! And it doesn't feel as impersonal as "Oh let me catch this all powerful god so it doesn't destroy the region." I think it really exemplifies the fact Pokémon are FRIENDS, and Ogerpon and Koraidon/Miraidon also prove that Calyrex didn't work just because it could talk, they all work because how they're woven into the narrative and the protagonist by extension. So catching them (or being able to use them in battle with the SV box legends) feels like proof of your bond with said Pokémon.

UGH will never not be mad how they tried to water down Lusamine. She abandoned her own daughter so she could chase after aliens while calling her ugly and less beautiful I hate her so much. A lot of people point out that Lillie and Nihilego are designed off of each other but few point out Lusamine did that on purpose. She was so convinced her daughter couldnt compare to some alien she was obsessed with that she intentionally dressed Lillie as her to make her “look better”. Thats why Lillie’s new look shw made for herself is so IMPORTANT to her she called it her Z-POWERED FORM IT MADE HER FEEL POWERFUL IF YUO HATE HER YOU WILL EXPLODE!!!! LOOK HOW MUCH HAPPIER SHE IS..

Dont even get me started on Gladion and Guzma. Guzma was willing to jump through an ultra wormhole for Lusamine all because she was the only important person to praise his battling without trying to force him to conform to Alolan tradition. Ive seen people try and deny what happened to him as a kid and it baffles me. People dont act the way he does without some serious problems. i feel so awful for him. Morally confusing as he may be he made his own family. Guzma took in Gladion bc Lusamine was so unsafe to be around that he had to rebel and run away. Guzma understood that. but he still wasnt coping right so he still looked up to her bc of that support he never got Maybe im looking too deep into it but i think Wimpod/Goliospod may be a metaphor for his growth as well. Same with Type: Null/Silvally, but thats more obvious bc its a friendship evo.

i do love how Late Night With The Devil explores the supernatural and occult, but there is something fascinating about tearing away at the layers and finding that the entire movie just revolves around loss and trauma.

whether it be the loss of fame, of lover, of a child, of drive and passion, of the drive to continue living, of a childhood, of morals, or even of respect for yourself and others; all the characters seem to have lost something as soon as they stepped fully into the industry. as soon as they decided to stand in front of the camera. there is something to be said about how much trauma is mentioned and used as something to exploit, to turn into spectacle.

you need to make something out of the tragedy that you and others have faced that can be packaged and sold or else it was all for naught. you need to benefit from your hurt or else you have suffered for nothing. your own personal hell was created for you long before you had ever made a deal with the system that acts as though money can be placed over an open wound to stop the bleeding.

money is the drive here because money means power, and if this means having to put a price in exchange for the comfort that it brings to pretend to have any power over what has happened to you then so be it. look at how much hurt i carry, can you offer me comfort? no, but we can throw in some bucks for playing the game! we can televise it. we can make your hurt real by placing a camera in front of it.

I just want to point out how utterly adorable Glinda is in this scene. I love the way she pauses next to Elphaba at the end, fiddles with her dress almost as if wiping sweat from her hands, and then reaches for her. Glinda who so far in the show was so sure of herself and what she wanted, now suddenly nervous for the first time. It really shows how important this is for her 🩷

Sometimes, I think Cole didn't like singing and dancing at first not just because of his relationship with his dad but because he still had issues over his mother's death. Lilly also loved singing and dancing and he felt a sense of guilt whenever he tried doing it himself. And the real reason he failed the Triple Tiger Sashay as a child wasn't because of his inexperience but because he was reminded of her when he did. It wasn't until the season 8 flashback did he begin to overcome his issues over it.

Mountain, who in order to check on his water flora, just sits in the mini swamp created by a trough and many many plants. He doesn’t care, he’ll shower after working in the greenhouse anyway. His plants seem to like the company too. This has the inadvertent effect of mountain sinking low into the water as he feels the energy of his plants making sure they’re well, but to anyone who walks by they’d see a certified swamp creature.

When he finally wraps up shop in the greenhouse, there’s a thin line of algae around his arms from the water level. The other ghouls see it and just know “oh mountain had swamp time, good for him”
