As we sit upon a rock spinning at 1000km/hr, and hurtling through the cold, empty universe at 100,000km/hr, illuminated only by a giant ball of gas and nuclear fusion 150,000,000km away from us that keeps us gravitationally locked in its orbit... For Harry Styles, child genius turned glorified spaceship mechanic, rescuing lost or broken down ships is a fairly common occurrence. There’s nothing common about his latest mission, the ship, or that ship’s captain. The last thing he expects to find in a distant galaxy is the one thing he’s been missing on Earth.

Reccer says: An incredibly written, epic royal space fic! Even if you've never seen Star Wars, you'll fall in love with these characters. And if you have seen Star Wars, you'll be amazed by how this writer plotted this story!

Louis has crossed the galaxy with a ship full of crystals; they’re the only thing he has to offer in exchange for safe harbor. He thought getting to his destination would be the hardest part, hoping that once he got his family to safety everything would fall back into place; Louis struggles to adapt while his sisters thrive.

Reccer says: Such atmospheric, visual writing that was used to create such an interesting world! The characters are so complex and have inner demons that eventually reveal themselves.

Don't bring the Starbucks by LadyLondonderry (4814, Teen, Niall Horan/Rory McIlroy) – fic post Warnings: Minor character death (but as the author says, it's no one you like)

The one where Niall is a perfectly normal university student, until he finds himself an ocean away in the middle of Ohio with a strange man telling him to stop wandering off. Then he’s in space. It’s a whole thing.

Reccer says: Emmu's fics are always their own special brand of charming and this fic is no exception. It's so delightful and odd and it makes me so happy.

Breaking Through the Atmosphere by dinosaursmate (40416, Explicit, Harry Styles/Louis Tomlinson) – fic post

Louis is recruiting folks to colonize a new planet; Harry is the sweet, homesick painter/veterinarian he recruits.

Reccer says: Brilliant descriptions of what their life is like on another planet! And such a gentle, slow burn into realizing that you’ve fallen in love.

Hell yeah we're doing a Rory McIlroy drabble in the year 2024, let's go!!

Should also note, the reader will go by he/him pronouns but I have no objection to those who don't use them reading this ^^

"Poor Rory" was all you could think as you watched your boyfriend at the 18th hole. He had come back so well on the third day only for it to be seemingly for nothing as he continuously dropped shots. And you knew the commentators would go harsh on him for this. You couldn't blame him, though. Golf was harder than it looked, and to keep up such a reputation wasn't easy. You just hoped he wouldn't take it too much to heart.

After watching the ball fall into the hole, you swiftly made your way back to the hotel. Despite the long distance, you knew you'd be first as Rory would still be congratulated by his peers. You took advantage of that time by creating a cozy setting in the apartment living room, even bringing out some champagne for a little celebration. However, you soon realised that that may not be for a while yet, judging by how your boyfriend entered the room.

Before you could get a word out, Rory was falling into your arms, breath heavy with a light sob here and there. You quickly took to gently hushing him with little pats on his back, then to holding him with one arm and holding his head with the other for more comfort. "Oh sweetheart, I know, I know. You did the best you could! Plus, it wasn't terrible; you still had a decent ending!" He looked up at you with both disbelief and hope. You took that as a sign to continue. "I mean, look at your partners from your rounds. You pretty much did better than all of them! Especially Jordan." You chuckled, and he did too. "I guess so. Do you think I have a chance?" "A chance at what?" "Winning again someday." "Oh I'm sure darling. I'm sure." You cuddled him reassuringly and he gladly accepted.

"Now, you must be so tired. How about we go to the sofa?" Rory nodded, wiping his eyes before following you. Once you sat, he made himself comfortable snuggling beside you, head on your shoulder with a blanket loosely draped over you both. "Hey darl," you started. "Hm?" He looked up at you with slightly tired eyes. "How about some champagne?" "Champagne? What for?" "To celebrate you, of course!" Rory made a little sound of disbelief in the back of his throat. "While you may not have won, I have," you said, pouring out two glasses of champagne and handing one to him. "With the best boyfriend in the world."

You would remember the heart eyes Rory gave you forever: so full of love and tenderness. You chinked glasses and kissed before settling in to watch some tv before bed.

Perhaps it hadn't been such a bad day for Rory after all.
