im not sure if this means anything but you have some of the best takes and views of johnny and kenshi ive seen, like, ever!! i really admire your work and the way you write about them i can tell you really love them (and mk in general.) I think you capture every character BEAUTIFULLY!!

oh !!! oh anon !! i'm like freaking out and crying lowkey !! thank you oughhhhhh my heart. i'm. i'm a writer, as stated in my about me i'm writing a book. so, a lot of what i've ever written is completely my own characters, my own dynamics. cause i made these characters so its so easy to write them !! but for like two years i've been writing such self indulgent fics in my notes app for me only. i always thought about making a blog to write x readers and stuff but. i'm so afraid to get other characters wrong with my writing. so i'm like super glad people think i'm good at writing other characters, like im really surprised !!

and. i really do love all the mk characters, its a comfort game to me as much as it's like all gorey and stuff loooool. but i mentioned before it was one of the few outlets i got to spend time with my dad as a kid, and unfortunately i didnt really keep up with the games until mk1 dropped. and then my dad got it again and it rekindled my love for it and like. all this stuff. caught myself up on the lore, real quick.

johnny & kenshi specifically are just comfort characters of mine. like i really really dont have many, and imma be honest, i never really headcannoned any characters or anything out of the ones i have (armin, nier, aki hayakawa, and power). i just kinda set them as they were cause like. i dunno. brought comfort. but with johnny and kenshi. damn. it's a different level. i dont see a lot of myself in many characters, i think nier specifically was the first character i resonated so hard with. but i really enjoy studying characters (and media, i mean. im a writer lol.) and I just noticed sooooo much about these two, separate and together. and projecting a little has definitely helped with my writing as well, if that makes sense? like they r so hot but also i see a lot of myself in them and i think that's wonderful. even if it isn't canon or stated or anything, i genuinely enjoy being able to be like "hey these guys are kinda like me lol". i'll admit im never the best at explaining stuff, especially with those headcanons, i really hope they didnt sound like super duper edgy. it's just pulling from my own experience and thoughts and feelings.

i've had a lot of turning points in my writing, like certain media has definitely effected me as a writer of course. my biggest influence and motivation is Drakengard and Nier, by Yoko Taro. His writing is just so intricate and interesting and so damn deep, it's really beautiful. With Mortal Kombat, it's definitely been a big influence over me, as well. Unfortunately, not in the way Yoko Taro's works have effected me, but it's definitely helped me shape and write and process certain characters properly. Especially observing, I think analyzing MKs characters is really what helped me.

Escaping, Reclaimed Desires

Decker: Decker escapes Yapool's space, winding up outside the barrier and attacked by Spheres, saved by Trigger. Hanejiro spends the episode making excuses for Kanata as being unwell. Kengo takes Kanata to an abandoned TPU moonbase, which the Mars resistance had discovered was being used as an outpost by the Spheres, the base is surrounded by destroyed robots and inactive robotic soldiers lie dormant. Kengo offers encouragement, and even tracked down Kanata's parents, getting a message from them. Yapool awakens the robot soldiers to attack, Kanata gets encouragement from the message as Kengo is grabbed by Spheres, which start draining his knowledge and also drain some from Yapool. Kanata frees Kengo and they blast Yapool, as the Spheres awaken Galactron Mk II, Decker and Trigger fight, each using all their forms, before finally defeating it, Kengo sends Kanata on his way with the Sphere card so he can return home.

Geats: Michinaga refuses to cooperate with Hareruya. Ace helps Keiwa touch his core, the Game Master is annoyed, but allows him to re enter if Ittetsu forfeits, Keiwa gets Ninja after Michinaga loses it, and gives Geats Magnum. Ace reveals to Hareruya he knows he's acting against him, Tsumuri won't let the fight, citing the rules. Everyone gets their Fever Hit and on the 2nd roll doubles up, Geats and Punkjack defeat the Jyamato Riders. The key is decoded, involving translation to Jyamato language, and everyone escapes. Keilow is eliminated as per agreement, Keiwa wishes to save all those lost to the Jyamato. In a greenhouse, a the man wishes for his Jyamato to destroy the DGP.

Donbrothers: Iida, a renowned food critic, has lost her appetite for known foods, becoming possessed by DenshiKi and eating the chefs. Rumi goes home, telling Jiro she has left some food. Inuzaka reports to Yuriko, then finds he's now wanted for his Juto's restaurant rampages. He runs into Kijino, who invites him to a restaurant using the bounty money, he agrees after seeing Kijino's mental state. The whole team is at the restaurant, then arguments break out, then Inuzaka has a mental cooking competition with the chef, Iida suggests a real contest. Saruhara (for Inuzaka), Sonoi (for the cart owner) and Kijino (paying off the meal for the restaurant) fight over best quality eggs. Iida rampages, eating Inuzaka and the chef, who find the others there as well as a new fruit, they start harvesting. The others start fighting DenshiKi, the Noto join the battle, Sonoza unleashing Murasame. Goldon Momotaro defeats DenshiKi, Don Dragoku having to save Murasame, who then loses control as Black Onitaijin, Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami defeating him again. Iida finds her new flavour, and Sonoi with the Oden, and Taro with Rumi's cooking, both attain bliss, and Kijino returns home to find Miho has really returned.

Let's have some fluff. 14 or 22 with Xiaotian and Wukong

Here's a fun fact: During my last rewatch of the series I took the time to pay attention to all of the times Monkey King addressed MK. The only time Monkey King calls MK by name in the English version is when it's Jin pretending to be him in the Calabash. He only refers to him by Kid or Bud. ALWAYS. What I saw and could pick up by ear of the Mandarin version? Total opposite. Every time an English line had him say Kid or Bud he called him Xiaotian like the other characters. (Xiaotian also uses Sun Wukong in the lines where he called him Monkey King so either that is what he always refers to him as or he also calls him something else I could not pick up by ear. I’m going with the former for now.)

Also you get both because they go SUPER well together!

“You are my family.”/ “You made me a better person. Thank you.”

"Xiaotian, you forgot your jacket!" Sun Wukong shouted, throwing it at a force hopefully not enough to knock the poor guy over.

Luckily he had calculated this properly and when the jacket hit the Monkie Kid smack dab in the face it only made him yelp and tilt him over slightly before he managed to straighten up. Xiaotian pulled the jacket down, laughing. "Aw man, I can't believe I almost forgot this! Thanks daaaa-" Both of their eyes widened as they realize what he was about to say and Xiaotian flailed wildly before continuing. "-aaAAAANG I just remembered Pigsy needed me to pick up another shift tonight ok thanks BYE!"

Well. That was new. And he only had a few... days to mull that over. Oh dear.

“Sun Wukong!” Xiaotian yelled as he landed on the sandy beach surrounding Mount Huaguo. “I’m back for training! Hello? ...hello?” He looked around, taking in the surprisingly empty surroundings. Lately the Monkey King had been greeting him upon arrival, either ready to start a sparring match or with some kind of lesson or instruction to tell him on their way to wherever they were training for the day.

Now there wasn’t even a single baby monkey around.

“Sun Wukong..?” He whispered out in confusion, making his way to the waterfall that hid the little house the ancient being now called home (he still had no idea what happened to his palace, he was certain all the stories said there was a palace back there). There were almost no monkeys around here, and the few he did see seemed to be chittering amongst themselves.

The walk to the little house past the waterfall was a wildly different visage. Monkeys littered the entire area, similarly chittering amount themselves, and many seemed to be just... amused? Somehow they seemed amused.

He’d never been invited inside the house before. He had never been told he wasn’t allowed inside, but he had never been invited in before. But as he stood at the slightly open entryway he smelled... something sweet? He leaned forward, breathing in deeply...

And then he was being jolted forward by the weight of multiple monkeys jumping on his back, seeming to laugh as he rushed forward and pinwheeled his arms to keep from hitting the walls or falling over completely. As soon as they were there they left, rushing off and slamming the door shut.

“Hey!”

“Xiaotian? Is that you?” The man froze, realizing he had been caught and this was probably the monkey army’s plan all along. “Aw, sh-, UH... come here, I didn’t realize I lost track of time...”

Odd... the Monkey King sounded... sheepish? This was plenty to get Xiaotian to venture further into the house. He took in his surroundings as he did so and it was... plain. Shockingly normal. He didn’t know if he expected portraits or treasures or what, but it just looked like a normal old fashioned house. If a little messy in some places.

Eventually he realize that the Monkey King was inside the house’s kitchen... in an apron... in front of a steaming basket... which he was pulling steamed buns from and piling on a nearby plate.

“Uh... What?”

“I made snacks!”

Yeah that... answered nothing. At all. “You... never make snacks?”

“Sit down, Xiaotian, I think we need to talk.”

And if those words didn’t make him feel instant anxiety like nothing else. There were so many things this could mean. Was he not doing good enough? Did he need to take training more seriously? Did he mess up super bad? DID SUN WUKONG REALIZE HE ALMOST CALLED HIM DAD AND GET OFFENDED!? HE DIDN’T MEAN IT(at least he didn’t mean to say it) THAT JUST SLIPPED OUT!

Xiaotian did not voice any of this and instead sat down and tried to keep himself from dying inside. The second he was seated the Monkey King placed a plate with a bun on it, slightly purple filling showing through a small slit on one side.

“It’s taro,” Sun Wukong explained, sitting down with his own plate. “I’ve been wanting to eat taro for a while, you like taro right? You’re not allergic to it? Are you allergic to anything?”

“No... I’m not,” Xiaotian said slowly, picking up the bun to take a careful bite. It was slightly under seasoned, but properly cooked and shocking light. “It’s good.”

“Good.” Wukong took a bit of his own bun, making a pleased sound. “So... Dad?” Barely able to keep himself from choking, Xiaotian quickly swallowed down his bite and was prepared to apologize when his mentor continued. “I think I might ok with that eventually.”

There was a moment of silence between them, Wukong looking pointedly at his student who sat in stunned silence. “Look... Xiaotian. I’m going to be honest here, when I took you on as my student I didn’t expect to get... attached. At least, not to this degree. I expected us to maybe become buddies after you were ready, hang out every once in a while. But I think that was kind of stupid of me to assume. I don’t really let myself get attached to anyone anymore, not after DBK and I fought 500 years ago, but I used to get attached so easily. I thought of Pigsy and Sandy as my actual brothers once, DBK and I used to consider each other almost as close as brothers too along side a bunch of other demons, and now I... I’ve changed.”

He took a bite of his bun, looking off to the side and nodding to himself as if making up his mind about something. “Not in the last 500 years, though that changed me too. I think you changed me. Training you, getting to know you more as Xiaotian than as ‘my successor’ made me reevaluate a lot of stuff when I wasn’t even aware of it. I think of you first over myself now, I worry if you’re going to come back hurt, I started actually keeping my lawyer’s emails up to date instead of letting them die a slow death in my inbox! You made me a better person. Thank you. As far as I’m concerned? You are my family... If you want to be. Was that too mu-WHY ARE YOU CRYING!?”

Xiaotian sniffed loudly, tears streaming down his face against his will. “Do you mean it? We’re family?” He hadn’t known until that moment how badly he had wanted to hear something like this deep down, even if he still didn’t dare allow himself to think anyone would think of him as family he still hoped.

And Wukong smiled softly, standing to pull his student into a strong hug. “Yeah. Yeah, we are... but yeah, I dunno if I’m ready to be ‘dad’ though.”

Xiaotian snorted through his tears. “We can start with ‘vaguely fatherly figure’?”

“Yeah. Let’s start with that.”

@avatarfantxsy @quyennie @despairandjo I decided to just list them. I need to make a separate post for bands tho. (that was a lie almost as fat as me) So in this bias list I will only list groups that I listen to. The last bias list I posted there were a lot of groups that I hadn’t listened to yet so this one will just be the groups I know of. I have a few to add, some I have taken off and I will have a section at the end for potential biases. Also some groups have 2-6 biases. For example I literally can’t choose with UP10TION. Some July/August Scans

I have already stated some stuff about King Joe STORAGE Custom so, link is down below-

-so now, let's go through the rest of the scans.

Now, we have some scans of Ultraman Z - Gamma Future. He looks so awesome. And he will be fighting against Tri-King/Five King in his debut. And it seems that he will be using Zoffy, Jack, Father, Cosmos, Nexus and Mebius Medals to acquire several abilities. Honestly, I dig the abilities but.... I was expecting two new forms at Gamma Future's debut. But anywho, it's still awesome to see that Z - Gamma Future will be using these six medals as forms of two new finishers which will be dazzling with magic when used on Z-Riser as a weapon. Heh! Now I'm looking forward to more abilities to come in the future than new forms, lmao.

So, it would appear that Red King II aka, Red King (B) is making a comeback. Well, I did say we should need more showa kaijus to come back so... I guess I won't complain about it.

Also, there is a new Alien in town, folks. The alien's name is Alien Barossa. Hmmm... honestly, he or she has less armour on the legs, but I guess this'll do as I can see that TsuPro has been putting loads of effort on this alien. And this cool-looking alien, will be fighting against Gamma Future in "Future" episode/s to come.

Alien Pitt will also make an appearance, too in a form that they will be sisters. Awwww, TsuPro~ how touching of you~

And looks like in the Next episode of Gilbaris Arc, Geed and Zero Arc, Hebikura/Jugglur is finally going work his ass out to help STORAGE slay some drones sent by Gilbaris/Galactron Mk II, and he will be transforming to Zeppandon again or hopefully some other Fusion Kaiju maybe? You go, boiiii.

And finally, we have that monstrosity here on the top right hand corner of the scans. It's official. And I knew I named him correctly. That Golza, Melba and Super COV fusion is actually named, Tri-King. Hmmmm... I'm not sure if what i am seeing here is a gimmick honestly but, according to the scans, Tri-King can revert to Five King by summoning Reigubas and Gan-Q arms back on him,...... I guess??? (Image shown below)

Lastly, we have the Ultra and Kaiju Medals. Looks like we have some new ones in store today apart from Genegarg, Jirass, Neronga, Ultraman, Ace, Taro and Shining Ultraman Medals shown below;

We have Junis Blue, Dyna Miracle Ultra Medals in store. We also have Ace-Killer, Eleking, Horoboros, Gilbaris and Galactron Mk II Kaiju Medals in store. Okay, sounds cool. Hopefully we see more fusions from these guys, that's only if TsuPro does their JOBS, that is.

Well now, interesting scans we have for our July/August Scans. Hopefully we get more of these in our September, October, November and December scans.

Cafe Dates

Word Count: 1.5K

About: You go to a Cafe to study for you Chemistry final with a group of friends, but they find themselves distracted by the cute waiter.

You feel your lungs burning as you run down the block to the cafe by your apartment. You’re late yet again for your study date with your group for Chemistry. Your final is coming up and it’s already stressful enough. You need as much time as you can get in. You ignore the groans and foul words that come at you as you bump and push past people. This is more important, you keep reminding yourself.

A minuet or two later you make it to the cafe. When you burst into the door, hair sticking to your head and panting heavily it seems like the whole shop stops to look at you. Your face flushes and you slowly make your way to the table where the rest of your friends are waving you over. “Forget to set your alarm again?” One of them remarks. You sneer in reply, “No that’s only happened once.” You mutter. You had once forgotten to set your alarm for class, but since your body is pretty good with knowing when you were supposed to wake up, you only did so about 20 minutes later than usual. Needless to say the professor wasn’t too happy about that, and of course he made a spectacle of you in from of everyone else.

“How far did you guys get?” You say lightly as you start pulling put your notes. It doesn’t look like they had gotten too far without you. Before you know it you guys are engaged in a full study session. No one had gotten up to order their drink since this was one of those cafes where a server comes to you to get your order and brings it to you. You were asking each other practice questions when the waiter finally came to your table to take your order.

“Hello my name is Jaehyun and I’ll be your waiter today, what can I get for you lovely ladies?” You turn to the man and was immediately awestruck. He was beautiful. He had a round full face with pretty pail skin, and full cheek though he looked surprisingly fit. He had nice lips that stretched when he smiled and completed his face with dimples on each side. His eyes grew smaller the more he smiled and his nose scrunched just a little. What you would give to see him laugh. His hair was black and parted In a way that left it over most of his eyebrows but stopped right above his eyes. Most of all, he was tall. You had to break your neck just to see his face in the first place.

All of your friend order their drinks and food with ease. They make it look so easy and effortless. You on the other hand, had a little bit of trouble. “Oh u-um yes I’ll w- have, a Taro bubble Tea.” You fumbled over your words pathetically and internally screamed in your own embarrassment. “Anything to eat?” He asked politely, that same smile beating down on you like the heat of the sun itself. “No thank you.” You didn’t stutter again but this time the words were soft and barely audible. Jaehyun bows and turns on his heel walking back to the bar.

“Okey what the hell was that?” “I know! I’ve never seen you like that before!” “What happened to you just now?” Your friends burst into chaos after your unexpected struggle to function as a human being. “I bet it’s cause that waiter was hot as hell.” Your best friend wiggles her eyebrows at you. Blushing you look away from all of them. It was frustrating that she was right.

“You should talk to him!” A suggestion flies your way. “No way! I can’t!” You’re quick to shoot it down. “I’m too shy and he’s way better looking than I am.” You tried to defend yourself before anyone tried to convince you. “No way! You’re totally in his league!” Your best friend hyped. She was great for making terrible decisions for you. She always had a knack for convincing you to do something that you’d ultimately regret later.

You rolled your eyes and tried to focus everyone back to their work. It was the only way they were gonna stop, and it worked. Well you assumed it worked. That theory was debunked when Jaehyun came back with everyone’s drinks and snacks. You could feel yourself imploding from the embarrassment. “So Jaehyun are you single?” You hear one of your friends ask in a flirty tone. This cannot be happening! You keep your head down to try and deter the embarrassment. It’s not working.

“Uh, well, Actually I am single at the moment.” You could hear the hesitation in his voice. You knew he was uncomfortable. “What a coincidence! My friend over here is single too!” Your best friend once again make the decision for you. You can feel your face turn red as you look up at her then at Jaehyun himself in panic. You notice that his ears have turned red, but regardless he smiles at you. It’s warm and friendly. Maybe he’s been in this situation before.

After an awkward eternity of eye contact Jaehyun bows politely, “I should get back to work. Please let me know if you need anything else.” With that he walks away. You’re ready to blow up at everyone at the table but they beat you to it.

“Oh my God he was totally into you!” _What? Could they be any more misinformed? _“No he was most certainly not! He was uncomfortable.” You whisper yell. Now you were frustrated that they were not getting the hint. “How could you say that? Didn’t you see the way he looked at you?” She defended. Obviously this was getting nowhere. You sigh and focus everyones energy back to Chemistry yet again.

An hour or two passes and you finally finish all the studying you can do for one day. “Who’s paying?” One of your friends asks lowly. No one ever wants to pay, especially when you’re a college student. Anyone who says they want to, is lying. “I’ll do it.” Says your best friend. She’s got alterior motives and you know it. You just don’t know what yet. Rolling your eyes you stand and go to throw away all the trash. By the time you get back the money is already on the table, and everyone is standing and ready to go. Sighing, you gather your things and leave with them.

Your best friend lives in the same direction as you so of course you two end up walking home together. “What did you do?” You don’t even sugar coat it knowing already that she did something. “What?” She’s playing dumb. “Don’t act like you don’t know, I know that face you had in there. You did something, what did you do?” You don’t let up. Honestly you don’t know what she could have done but you never question what she’s capable of. She is always able to think of something to do that will “make things better.”

“I’m offended that you would just assume I’d go behind your back like that.” She fakes being hurt, even going so far as to place here hand on her chest and scrunch up her face. “Forget it.” You sigh. Whatever she did will show itself eventually, and you definitely weren’t going to get It out of her. Hopefully it wasn’t something too bad. “Still I think you should have talked to that guy. He was totally into you.” She repeats. “You’re delusional.” You giggled lightheartedly. It didn’t ,matter anymore anyways. You were already out the shop and probably never going to see him again.

You finally make it to your apartment after a walk that felt like an eternity. You sigh in relief as you close the door and kick off your shoes. Socializing is so exhausting, it feels good to know the now you can sit down, relax, and not feel guilty about waisting the day. You slip off your casual clothes, opting for more comfy ones, and plop down on your couch. Taking the remote in your hand you turn on the tv and go straight to crunchyroll. You had been watching this great anime so of course you wanna continue it. That would probably get you through the night.

You were about four episodes in and halfway through a bag of chips when you felt your phone vibrate next to you. You wipe off your hands on whatever is close and pick up your phone.

Darkness Ultras: A Harbinger Conspiracy

So after refreshing myself on Ultra Dark Killer lore, I can to a very interesting realization

Cause as of now we have no idea where did Geed and X Darkness come from and everyone (even me) is just assuming that both of them came to be just like how Ultra Dark Killer created the Dark Killer Brothers

But this is where it gets interesting, there's an issue with that assumption, there are great differences between the Dark Killer Brothers and the Darkness Ultras

1. Colour Scheme

I pointed out this in an earlier review post that all the Dark Killer Brothers have only black-white colour scheme while the Darkness Ultras have Black-Red-Purple color schemes

2. Naming

And of course the Dark Killer Brothers have their prefix of 'Dark Killer', eg Dark Killer Zoffy and Dark Killer Ace etc

But Geed and X Darkness?

Hmm

It's likely that Ultra Dark Killer did not create X and Geed Darkness, which led me to realize that know who else has the exact SAME color scheme and naming?

Now this is HUGE

Cause if we can rmb, the Zero Darkness form is achieved when the spirit of Belial possessed Zero

So I have very strong reasons to believe that Belial is somehow involved in all of this:

1. Ambiguous death in Geed

I pointed this glaring plothole here back in Geed when Belial was seemingly 'killed' in exile space where Geed pushed him there

I reasoned that because the wormhole was closing very quickly, Geed might've not been able to check on the condition of Belial

So it's very certain that TsuPro left that plothole there to have Belial's condition shrouded I'm ambiguity

2. Belial is a Reionyx

We learnt in Ultra Zero Fight Season 2 that due to the core spirit of Reiblood possessing Belial, Belial can never truly die, just like Reiblood can't as well

And this allow Belial to exist as a spiritual form even after death and be able to possess other beings such as Armoured Darkness and Zero

So even if we assume that Belial was left confirmed dead in exile space, his spirit will definitely still exist and could've been wandering around

3. The unknown whereabouts of the Darkness Five

I pointed this out in the first episode of Geed back then when we weren't even given any information on the whereabouts of the Darkness Five during the Omega Armageddon event

And I've always found it very suspicious that we have never heard about the Darkness Five throughout Geed

And considering the fact that Belial and Kei had planned to continue their operations in a pocket dimension near Side Space Earth, it's likely that the Darkness Five were involved in this plan too

By the end of Geed, we can only confirm that Kei truly perished but till today, the whereabouts of the Darkness Five are still shrouded in mystery

And considering that Belial and his crew have gotten smarter and smarter with each appearance, it should not be a surprise that Belial would have the Darkness Five be prepared for his eventual death at the end of Geed

And if they can harness such advanced technology in the Kaiser Belial Movie to achieve interuniversal travel, it's should also not come as a surprise to have the Darkness Five enter exile space to retrieve Belial's body and/or his spirit

4. Taiga is commemorating Zero AND Belial's anniversary

From the recent leaks we know that Zero will make a cameo in Taiga to give him the Plasma Zero-let to commemorate HIS 10th anniversary

So it's likely that Belial will make an appearance somewhere this year as well, either by proxy or as himself

Reasons below will be going into speculative territory:

5. The lack of involvement from the LoL

From what we can understand so far, it seems that the events taking place in Taiga seems to be within the main M78 universe, but I pointed out if that were the case, since Ken has universal+ clairvoyance, would they come and immediately rescue the Tri Squad?

UNLESS

At the end of the war 12 years ago, right after Toregia poofed all the Tri Squad, Belial makes his appearance and has been keeping the LoL occupied

And even if we look at the war 12 years ago, why were there only Taro and the New Gen Members involved in the resistance against Toregia? Where are the rest of the Ultra Garrison?

Could it be that Belial is causing havoc back down on the LoL and that's why they have a shortage in manpower?

6. How was Toregia able to escape

I pointed out early on in Taiga on how did Toregia even manage to escape Taro and the New Gen Ultras but now with this new information, it's likely that Belial may have entered the fray after the dual Ultra Dynamite detonation, which may give rise to the possibility that Toregia and Belial were in cahoots all along and working together to enact their own vendetta

7. The Ultra power within the Kaiju Rings

Although my previous theory of Toregia's corruption was killed by Ultra Galaxy Fight, but now it points towards the source of the Ultra's power in the Kaiju Rings may have come from Belial

Let me explain, in ep 3, although Taiga was able to pinpoint the appearance of MK 2 Galactron to Toregia, and yet each time the Tri Squad gets a new Kaiju ring, they never connect that obvious dot to Toregia, a development which then I pointed out was absolutely retarded

BUT, it might be foreshadowing that the power of the Ultra that was hidden in the Kaiju Rings arent indeed from Toregia, but from Belial himself

If Belial can harness the powers of the Kaiju Capsules, he sure can enlist someone else to manufacture the Kaiju Rings

EVERYTHING COMES FULL CIRCLE NOW

Although I have many more reasons that support the possibility that Belial is involved here, I just listed enough or else I won't be able to finish this post

So overall, what I suspect is that there's mainly a tripartite working relationship going on between Ultra Dark Killer, Toregia and Belial.

Perhaps with Dark Lugiel and Etalgar playing the comparatively minor roles (although imo each of them individually could literally play major roles by themselves sigh)

So it seems that Ultra Dark Killer may have first created the Dark Killer versions of X and Geed, but since Belial now only exists as a spirit form from the end of Geed, he possesses both of them to create X and Geed Darkness

And while Ultra Dark Killer and his league of Darkness keeps the New Gen Heroes occupied, Belial and Toregia might have already intruded into the LoL to cause havoc there to keep the others occupied

And the 2nd act would involve Toregia siphoning the Tri Squad far away while Ultra Dark Killer, Belial and his League of Darkness continues their assault on the LoL

The 3rd Act would perhaps involve Belial meeting up with Toregia for perhaps the grand finale of the Taiga movie or just something after that

The possibilities are literally quite endless at this point but I really hope TsuPro brings back Belial and really add a whole new dimension to a conventional series by making it just simply a portion of a GRAND PROJECT

Another year goes by, and another list of games that I thought were stellar, great and splendid to play. 2016 was a pretty alright year for games, but this year, with a myriad of stellar as fuck releases? personally blew the previous year out of the water with some stellar as hell titles, new IPs or new entries in existing franchises. As good as games this year might be, 2017 was NOT without its controversy, specifically the rise of Loot Boxes(thank you EA, Activision-Blizzard). Nonetheless, without further waiting, here’s my top ten games of 2017.

10) Yakuza 0(PS4) -

I’m a huge fan of the Yakuza series, seeing it as the last bastion of good Sega Games made by Sega themselves, despite their continuation of fuckin up Sonic. Yakuza 0 is basically a prequel, set before the events of the original game and putting you in the shoes of a young Kazuma and a young Majima Goro. The action is ridiculously fun and over the top as previous entries, including a new Fighting Style that allows you to switch between styles for varying strategies against waves of foes. The story is still as crazy, funny, emotionally gripping and tense as one can get from a Crime Drama centered around the Yakuza. The characters are all larger than life, greatly developed and just a pleasure to see, whether its new guys just for this entry or returning characters at a younger period of their lives. Pick this game up if you haven’t played the Yakuza games, it’s a great starting point. Pick it up if you’re a fan of the series too.

9) Nioh (PS4/WIN) -

Tecmo Koei’s “Dark Souls” only it’s set in Feudal Japan, post Nobunaga. Originally, this title was expected to be out in 2004, but was kicked into development Hell until it’s re-announcement in 2015/16. Following the adventures of William Blake as he searches for Guardian Spirit who has been taken by the evil Edward Kelley. William meets many allies, some who may sacrifice themselves to help him help Japan’s Amrita problem. the gameplay is great and greatly fun, solid and responsive as it needs to be. It blends both the flashy badassery of Dynasty Warriors and the tense, pulse pounding grit of Dark Souls. While playing second fiddle to the gameplay and loot system, the story is delightfully cheesy and over the top, it’s hilarious in most parts and well worth getting engaged in. Buy it for your DW/DS/both DS and DW fix.

8) Resident Evil 7(PS4/WIN/XO) -

Resident Evil needed a dire rehaul, reinvention and a total reimagining from the ground up. RE6 was a dumpster filled with half ideas and lazy gameplay. Resi Evil 7 was teased, showing a rather stylistic change, possibly to jump on the hype left by Silent Hills, but nonetheless it ended up working for the better. The scares were there, more cerebral than ever whilst taking that traditional Resi Evil feel and introverting it into quite possibly the best RE game since 4. Get it if you’ve been wanting that AAA Survival horror atmosphere, definitely worth the price.

7) Pyre(WIN/PS4) -

from the developers of Bastion and Transistor, two incredibly stellar indie titles, Supergiant Games brings out Pyre this year. You are the Reader, you’re travelling with a group of exiles taking part in these “rites” to seek your freedom and return to the commonwealth. mixing parts of an adventure, an RPG and a fucking sports game of all things, these systems and mechanics are all solidly blended together in superb fashion. The story is also one to follow as well, dealing with redemption, rebellion and even death, this is a tale in which character’s mature over time, developing into whichever way you choose throughout the game. A fabulous indie game developed by a stellar indie developer, pick this up as soon as possible.

6) South Park: The Fractured But Whole (PS4/XO/WIN) -

Admittedly, I was not expecting much from this sequel, considering how great Stick of Truth was. But Whole is a fantastic follow up and quite possibly the best licensed game that I can really think of. You follow the story of the kids, Eric and co, as they decide to play Superheroes, hoping to find a lost kitty. In classic South Park style, everyone is not safe, everything WILL be mocked and made fun of, even the “Difficulty” slider is not spared from the same bout of vicious shit flinging. If you’re familiar with South Park, or at least the previous game and it’s brand of humour, then you’ll have a great time with this one, though if you don’t particularly enjoy South Park? You may want to avoid this title. Recommended for those who love offensive humour and South Park. 5) Assassin’s Creed: Origins(PS4/WIN/XO) -

Well it seems taking a year off, retooling and rebuilding the franchise has helped GREATLY with AC:O. Ubisoft are not the greatest of developers/publishers, but I commend them for actually crafting an AC experience that is on par, if not BETTER than AC2. You follow the story of Bayek, a Medjai who’s seeking out individuals of an Order after they had killed his son. While gameplay still has those “creed-isms” Such as stealth and assassinating, the combat, ranged and melee have both been redefined from the ground up for mostly better.While it has a rocky beginning, the story for the most part is damn great, with some really impactful moments here and there, the dynamic between Bayek and his wife ground themselves in a relatable way, giving the series another “good” protagonist in a sea of “bad” ones. If you’re a fan of the series, be wary of the changes to combat, but for the most part you will love it. Buy it to see how an open world is done right. 4) Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon(3DS) -

Sun and Moon are great pokemon titles and even good games in their own right, but their “updated” iterations make a good game fantastic. Sure, it’s really a remake, but the added stuff is enough to give a second journey through Alola. More pokes to capture, wider selection of wild pokes in the earlier game, new forms and even new pokes add a much meatier experience on the gameplay side of it whilst the story is vastly improved on with added scenes and characters, giving the UBs more importance helps to make their inclusion not so last minute. While it may be harder to recommend to a passing fan, it’s definitely worth picking up if you’re a pokefan through and through. 3) Injustice 2(PS4/WIN/XO) -

I loved the original Injustice, even its mishaps, heck Mortal Kombat X was one of my GoTYs for 2015, and I still adore that game/series now. Injustice 2 takes a hard long look at it’s predecessor, looks at its shortcomings and decides to get rid of them, for better or for worse. IJ2 is a vast improvement by definition, more varied selection of fighters to choose from, a better written story plus a Villain that will make you go “Holy shit that’s dope” trust me on that. The game picks up from the last title; Batman is now running things after Dictator Chairman Supes is now put in a cell of kryptonite, whilst Supergirl wants to go rescue her cousin, Earth is in peril by the invading Brainiac, a Krypton Super-Computer who wants to collect all knowledge. The gameplay takes some elements from MKX and even improves upon them, especially the added loot system, giving you that chance to customise how your favourite DC Fighter(or Hellboy/MK/TMNT Fighters, yes even Hellboy and the Ninja Turtles are in this, take that MVC:I!). Varied roster, solid gameplay and a story that doesn’t have any right being as good as it is, a must buy for Fighting Game and DC Comics enthusiasts. 2) Persona 5(PS4) -

The Persona franchise is one of those JRPG franchises that you either love or hate, I love it if you haven’t read my review on Persona 5. The fifth(Main line, that is) in the super popular gem that is Persona is a fantastic, well written piece of JRPG goodness with music that will blow your socks off, and a story that’s goofy, hilarious yet serious, dramatic and engrossing all packed together neatly. The gameplay while standard Turn Based affair is so solid and fun and with a surprising amount of choice, since you can potentially recruit enemy personas to your team. Each character grows and develops throughout the story, with tragedy and hope mixed in to give you a sorta mix of Persona 3 dark and Persona 4 lightheartedness, and that’s a good thing. Quite possibly my favourite JRPG of this by a huge, wide and long road between the other stuff. Recommend whether you’re new or a veteran to this series, god damn play this game now! Honourable Mentions: In no particular order, here’s a few honourable titles that I loved but haven’t included in my main top ten. Tekken 7, Yakuza Kiwami, Battlechasers: Nightwar, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Evil Within 2, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn. 1) NieR: Automata -

This game...this game is why I love games, stories and music, all in one. A fantastic experience from start to finish, a rollercoaster of emotions whilst using gameplay in conjunction with narration and to break the fourth wall on multiple occasions. You play as 2B and 9S, androids that are fighting the Machine menace to save the earth for humanity, by destroying them to pieces and dodging and moving through bullet hell like segments and even Shmup segments too. Seems standard affair right? Well the story really _really_ slowly reveals itself, giving even development to the bosses and enemies you face, no major character here is one note, at all. Platinum Games managed to get one thing they could never quite master right; an engaging, dramatic and heartfelt story/narration. Execution is far from perfect, but this game is so near perfect it deserves to be played by everyone. The music? There’s a few refrains and already established tracks from the previous game, but why fix something if it ain’t broken right? The music is heartfelt and really emotionally heavy. Yoko Taro is truly the Madman of Video Games. But his mad genius is executed for the most part, really great. Pick this game up if you desire something memorable, meaningful and fantastic. So there’s my list, obviously this is my opinion, you may think differently, or think the same way, it’s fine, everyone’s got an opinion, but this is MY list, so don’t hate because a game I like that you don’t like is here, it’s kinda pathetic. Hopefully 2018 brings even more diamonds.
