As I'm rewatching Arknights: Prelude to Dawn to get ready for the new season coming out, I'm reminded of the missed opportunity to have this gem as the closing song. It's a crime that it was only run for CN 3.5!

Part of Arknight's charm for me is that it is always dancing on the edge of not quite taking itself seriously. Even if Yostar wants to take a serious tone with the show, I feel like the outro would be fair game. I wonder if we'll get some more light moments in Perish in Frost...

Also the song is just such a bop and the animation is too cute!

So there's this song called Eden by Monkey Majik that I am obsessed with.

There's a part that goes like this:

Which roughly translates to (according to the translation I found):

no i totally did not buy this just for a dvd quality version of the monkey majik music video what are you talking about

(the set itself is also REALLY nice. the booklet it comes with includes a bunch of pilot film/part 1/even some cagliostro art, as well as stuff from the music video. also now i need to hunt down the play the lupin bd)
