Okay but like when the pack is ready for pups, imagine that someone who wants to bear pups has a really hard time getting pregnant. So when they do it’s their little miracle baby. But miracle baby also becomes their preemie baby (like a month early) and they all create a little schedule so someone is always there with the pup. As emotionally taxing as it probably is, imagine all the alphas each waiting there to rock the baby and have some skin to skin. There’s so many pictures of both pup and parents asleep in the rocker.

And since the pup is so used to it, the skin to skin sleeping continues as they gradually try to wean the pup off it so everyone can get good sleep. But if that kid is crying, Chan is the first one up and scoops them into his arms.

I finally replied to all of my comments (including the mountain from Tinimmy Week) in my inbox on AO3. XD I don't like to let them sit but I needed to budget in the time. I know that I'd rather get a response days or weeks later than not at all. Later replies, to me, are like surprise gifts and let me know that the author saw them!

Sorry about the very late response 🥲 but yes of course! They’re children (or present pretty much like children) and I have human decency lol

As for who’s who, I’ve always considered Nikki to be the one with the single pigtail, Lindsey to be the one with the two long pigtails, and Ginny to be the one with two short pigtails and bangs!

I assumed the names were done by level of skill and power. In my eyes, Nikki is the most skilled with leadership AND magic, Ginny the least by summoning Luigi’s hat accidentally in a cutscene, and Lindsey inbetween. Lindsey reinforces her role as the one with long pigtails by arguing with Nikki in a cutscene (through one of the peakholes in the room you first enter from the elevator when entering the suite for the first time.) Nothing says competitive like the someone trying to challenge the leader’s position-

I’m actually kinda glad they all have their own personalities with the plentiful cutscenes that they get. Similar enough to not be too zany, but different enough to be disntinguishable! I can always go into each’s personalities another day of course!

Chan insisted on moving in for the last few months of the pregnancy. He was worried you’d fall and not be able to get up. You’d go into labor instantly with no one there to help you. Godforbid you carry a grocery bag. It caused a few arguments, a few yelling matches as you tried to gain some more independence.

Chan who backed off, but stood by just in case. He helped instead of taking over. He transitioned to working from of the nursery, sleeping on the blow up mattress. You tried to convince him that you could share the bed, but that fell on deaf ears.

Chan who caught you on your nightly stroll around the block. You were four days overdue and your joints were feeling every single second that the baby overstayed. But the sharp twist in your abdomen caused you to stumble from your normal waddle. As he anxiously looked you up and down, you knew it was go time.

Chan who stayed by your side the entire birth. He held your hand, fed you ice chips, and apologized that his genes created such a big baby. He dutifully stayed at your head, even getting behind you to massage your shoulders and back as the contractions got worse. Whispered words of encouragement in your ear until you both heard those sharp cries.

Chan, brushing your hair from your face as they lay your daughter across your chest. He waited patiently for his turn, his eyes not leaving her as nurses surveyed her as she wailed. They presented him with a pair of scissors. His eyes ask you the question, you can only cry and nod.

Chan who waited patiently for his turn even if it felt like eternity. He made sure it was okay while the nurses attended to you. He couldn’t understand how something so small was real. Her little tuffs of hair stuck up everywhere, a little reminder of him.

Chan who somehow understood your daughter perfectly. Who was able to bounce her back to sleep when needed, who somehow knew the differences in her cries already. Chan who fed you bites of food while nursing.

Chan, who knew no matter what he would be there. For the most beautiful gift he had given and for the person that had given it to him.

what is your favorite horse color?

was really into chestnuts esp with flaxen manes as a kid (first horse) and then as i got older i got really into colored horses. i had a strawberry roan gelding for a long time who was so gorgeous, and a red roan mare for a bit. also love me some spotted horses, i tend to only really consider colors that walking horses come in bc that's mostly what i've had my whole life but whenever i see a spotted horse in more traditional english disciplines i get so excited like yeah you break those stereotypes.

oh jesus this is from last FEBRUARY. LOL. better late than never ahaha. So here goes, 5 things that make me happy.

Music. Sounds cliche but it's true. I'm obsessed. And my mood is significantly worse when I'm not listening to my tunes.

My husband. He's a dork but really cute and I love him.

Checking tasks off a list. Maybe it's the OCD but I genuinely LOVE making a list and then completing it. Gives me a happy complete feeling.

Water. Love it. The ocean, streams, the Great Lakes, ponds, whatever. I'm always happiest in and around water.

Really good fic about any of my faves (my ineffable idiots atm haha). I just love cute fluffy funny fic! So much! Thank you thank you thank you fic writers - you're the MVPS.

so i’m thinking that designer’s reflections can be created from anybody with strong elemental energy (vision wielders, archons, etc.) since they’re the genshin equivalent to stylists and also have the most connection to styling power yknow yknow. so basically any outfit with strong emotion attached to it and associated with a Main Character essentially can have a designer’s reflection! do with that as you will.

HOWEVER… imagine this with me for a second. it’s easier for nikki to summon reflections of allogenes than of people in miraland bc of world travel shit, but you still have access bc of your connection to the ocean of memories. basically what i’m saying is genshin reflections AND some shining nikki reflections. (for the sake of ease genshin reflections are just the name of the outfit/archon while shining nikki reflections get introduced with the designer and the name of the set)

just picture it with me. barbatos teamed up with krista’s truth of sea (god of freedom + girl who gave up her freedom for her country…. oh delmond). morax and yexiao’s hiding moon (morax’s temperament + yexiao’s calm but ruthless (at the time of hiding moon, anyways if u look at the reflection’s story) demeanor? chef’s kiss). red dead of night with yunikina’s song of dawn (snezhnaya and the north kingdom are both snowy, um. look it makes sense in my head okay). EIN IMMERNACHTSTRAUM AND ASHLEY’S NOCTURNE SONG (this one is bc ashley and therefore all her reflections deserve friends and i think ein jmmernachtstraum would be a great friend for her).

anyways. do you see the vision. i think you and nikki would only be able to summon one reflection each bc that’s how it works in the game anyways BUT THE DUOS WE COULD HAVE… - teddy anon
