The messages secretly boost him to finish his practice really quick so that his price is you . Well let's say he kept the promise because he finished his practice early . But the members were angry with him because they had to hurry . It happens every once in a while now , and the members get very annoyed at him , but they melt too bc ngl it is cute .

I feel he'll then ask one of his staff members to shoot some of his videos and send it to you so that you can watch them and enjoy and feel as if he's near you . He's so sweet that he'll even ask some of the staff to play games like Ludo or Pubg or something so that you can keep yourself distracted until he pops up in your house with a bunch of icecreams and chocolates and pastries and chips and everything to make up for the time he couldn't spend with you .

NaClYoHo 2023, Day 1 (for me)

So for reasons I will get to shortly, I'm starting my NaClYoHo a few days early. Today I'm scrubbing the tub.

I wish I had the Bissel steam cleaner @copperbadge recommended, but Home Depot doesn't carry it and there's no way otherwise I'd get it in hand by today, which is when I'd need it.

So instead I climbed in with an old toothbrush, a bottle of CLR, and a podcast app. I got about 2/3 of the way done before I had to pause to take 7yo to math class. In that time, I listened to (at 1.5 speed): the second half of a Behind the Bastards about Ted Cruz; a Gotta Be Done about the Bluey episode Sleepover; and a Deep in Bear Country about the book The Berenstain Bears and the Sitter.

When I get home (currently chilling at the poke place with my passionfruit green tea with lychee jellies), I'll finish the tub and wash the curtains and liner. Queued up: The Muppets: The Sitcom: The Podcast about the episode Too Hot to Handler, followed by a The Alarmist about the Waco Seige.

So my NaClYoHo is always a little weird. Traditionally I only do tasks on days my kids are in school, although it's not unusual for me to get one or two weekend projects done (like today) when Husband either helps or gets the kids put of my hair (and often, again like today, explicitly asks me to do said tasks).

Another thing that happens most years is that I end up temping, so my in-laws come over to watch the kids. This is the first year both kids have been in school, which should make things interesting.

Likely tonight, while I'm playing D&D, Husband will do a layer of cleaning in between rounds of PUBG, so that tomorrow, between work tasks*, I can do last-minute stuff like clean the toilets, load and run the dishwasher, or wipe up the inevitable sticky spots 7yo will leave from breakfast. Once that's done I'll have freedom to do some NaClYoHo Tasks like filing and clearing out my email inbox. I'll keep you posted.

*As to that, my temp job is always subbing for the same person. She only takes vacation during quiet times, so I'm really more on call than anything. I have to jump as soon as a task is sent to me, but there have been days where... no tasks are sent to me.

jay sighs as he finishes sending the last message. summer break's about to end and the way she's been inactive makes him feel like this little friendship they've made's about to end too. maybe he should have taken heeseung's advice and asked for her number. or any other social media account.

this feels all too repetitive of the last 'incidents' he's had with her. she ghosts him and he gets anxious, staring at the screen until that little button beside her icon turns green, messaging her a couple of times even though he isn't getting a reply back. each message he sends knocking down hard on his pride, but he continues to type away. it almost leaves him upset at how he's actively trying to build a friendship with her, and her not caring enough to update him.

but he shoos his anxious thoughts away, convincing himself that maybe he's overthinking this. that even though she teased and insulted him quite a lot, she'd never completely ghost jay without reason.

just like magic, his phone vibrates. jay sits up from his bed, eyes glued on the little chat box he has with notursniper. she just comes back with a lame "haha hi." without anything else. was she not going to address how she was gone for a week? was she going to dip again?

hey sorry for coming to you with this problem, your ealso polyam and its reassuring. i recently got together with my 2nd partner and - i dont really do self dx but i do have a lot of bpd symptoms and lemme tell you it Sucks. cant stop feeling like this, picking up on small cues and making them huge in my head, thinking i cant live without him but then he doesnt reply and i go 'he hates me so ill hate him in return'. i dont react on it but its exhausting. can u give me some advice/ encouragement?

First of all I want to let you know that you’re not alone, and I’ve made a discord server for people with “scary” mental illnesses who are polyam, mostly for people who deal with cluster b symptoms like that and have a hard time balancing their polyamory with it (me), and anyone is welcome to join who feels like they need a space to talk about how their mental illness can interfere with their interpersonal relationships (me).

Second of all, yes, I do have some advice.

1. Find your own things, things that are “Yours”. Find a TV show that is “Yours”. Find a game that is “Yours”. Find a book series that is “Yours”. Find a hobby or interest that is “Yours”. When you are feeling neglected, turn to this. Think of it as “this is mine and I’m spending my ‘me’ time doing my ‘me’ thing that my partner cannot have and since they are ignoring me I will be indulging in my ‘me’ thing that they cannot have”. It feels like “getting back at your partner” for ignoring you without doing anything harmful or reactionary.

2. Have spaces away from your partner (like this server) where you can vent about your feelings to people who understand and will not judge you for how “petty” your thoughts/actions are so that you can release some of that pent-up aggression/anger/perceived micro aggressions and take less out on them.

3. I know it’s been said before but communicate. Tell your partner what triggers you even if it’s “stupid” and “probably unavoidable”. This will (hopefully) make them feel like they matter because you’re opening up to them and hopefully provide an understanding on some level even if it’s not fully. For example “being misunderstood” is a trigger to anger for me, and while people cannot control themselves misunderstanding me, I can say “I’m sorry, I’m upset right now because you misunderstood what I was saying” and they can (hopefully) respond with “I’m sorry that I didn’t understand what you meant and while that’s not a good reason for you to be upset with me I understand that you are so I’ll give you your space until you calm down and can come back”.

4. Find an activity that can channel that negative energy in a non-harmful way. For me it was playing mobile PUBG but unfortunately the game is too big for my phone in addition to my other apps. When I was mad I would play my shooty shooty bang bang game and usually place top 10 if not win and that helped me.
