What fans say:
Kung Fu Panda 2:
It's a perfectly balanced movie between comedic deliveries and heavy emotional plot revolving around trauma and healing. Also the villain is just fantastic. The best scene is obviously the climax where Po learns to feel his pain without suppressing it and turns it into energy (physically and metaphorically).
The animation is top tier the villain is good and terrifying and sooo cool, the designs are everything, the mix of 2D and 3D scenes, the music, the humor, Po's self discovery journey.. wow. Breathtaking no matter how many times i watch it.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit:
The fact that its 2d animated with dozens of well known characters in one movie is pretty cool yknow? the concept too.
This movie is astounding. It’s hand painted animation. Everything had to be shot twice to ensure eye contact was maintained between the actors and the animated characters. One set was built 8 feet off the ground for moving props. They had puppeteers moving glasses for an octopus barman.
Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper:
This movie made me a theater kid.
It's arguably the BEST barbie movie. If one of them deserves to sweep, it's this one. The music is fucking stellar.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I have nearly 100 followers! That’s so cool! I can’t believe that many people want to see me yap on the internet. I’m thinking of maybe doing a poll for what I should do once we get to 100 so y’all can choose what I work on next as a little thank you. Not sure if there’d be much interest tho?
As of right now I have a few ideas that would either be oneshots or first chapters. This isn’t a definitive list but maybe:
Solar and Moon qpr and Solar is dating puppet
First chapter of Princess and the Pauper AU (will probably take a little longer if this is chosen since Im planning that to be a multichapter fic)
Eclipse x Evil Sun
The concept I talked about a while ago where the first chapter of “A Chance For Redemption” diverges and they end up with a room full of Eclipse copies
And then a few dumb little ideas like:
Someone gets zapped by the portal, shenanigans ensue
Sun and Solar smoke weed
I guess let me know if y’all are interested :)

Plotted out Starter for @indirecticn
Yards of fabric and Jane still felt naked. On Midgard, since ‘Earth’ and other variants in global languages were used only by the resistance, Asgardian fashion was reserved for the politically connected and wealthy. Jane Foster was neither. At least she had not been. Very soon her status in both departments would be changing.
The dress in question had been fashioned to impress Asgardian nobility and any guests at the court who would be attending the presentation of the Crown Prince’s bride-to-be. Which meant that it was the most extravagant and impractical thing Jane ever wore on her petite body. Layers of gold silk, because of course it was gold, with artful beading and embroidery across the entirety. Somebody had done Jane’s make-up and her fine mousey hair had been coiffed into something elaborate that she could never hope to replicate. Then again as the royal family’s new doll Jane would never have to do it herself. Her scalp itched and Jane fought the overwhelming need to scratch. This pauper to princess transformation was something out of a child’s dreamy fairy tale.
Jane could not be more miserable.
In a handful of hours she would be locked away in a gilded cage, officially betrothed to Prince Thor Odinson, a man she had met twice and certainly did not love. She was at best a puppet and a political prisoner at worst. Jane glared out the transport window at the blurred scenery of Asgard as it passed. If only she could slouch against the cushioned seat. She had been sitting for several hours now, not counting the time spent molding her into something beautiful, but the metallic bodice, once again gold, kept her spine rigid and upright. It was excellent for posture and painful for extended travel.
How much longer until they reached the city? And did she really want to get there?

Tiny Curiosity: Etymology of Pupil and Foal
Pupil(student) and Foal may seem like totally different words with different meaning...
But as usual, I am here to let you know they share etymological root!
Pupil:
From Old French "pupille" (14th century) and Latin "pupillus" (feminine form "pupilla"), both meaning orphan child or ward, with "pupillus" being a diminutive form of "pupus" (boy) and "pupa" (girl).
Likely related to the Latin word "puer" (child), possibly stemming from the Proto-Indo-European root *pau- (1), meaning few or little.
Evolution of Meaning:
By the 1560s, the term expanded to encompass a disciple, student youth, or any person, regardless of gender, under the guidance of an instructor or tutor.
Foal:
Old English term "fola" (foal, colt) dates back to the Proto-Germanic word *fulon.
Derived from Proto-Indo-European (PIE) root *pulo- meaning "young of an animal," which is a suffixed form of the root *pau- (1) signifying few or little.
Historical Linguistics:
Cognates in other Germanic languages include Old Saxon "folo," Middle Dutch "volen," Dutch "veulen," Old Norse "foli," Old Frisian "fola," Old High German "folo," German "Fohlen," and Gothic "fula."
Related Words from *pau-:
Foal, few, pauper, poor, pupa, puppet.
So, both pupil and foal share the PIE root *pau-, starting from meaning “little or small”, to now meaning “student” and the “young of an animal”.
This is part of my Tiny Curiosity series. I publish worldbuilding tidbits, trivia, etymology to this blog.
