The color pink isn't on the rainbow spectrum so the idea of Pink Diamond being defective makes sense, since she wouldn't be in White's spectrum of color.

So here's the obligatory Red Diamond AU where Pink comes out the correct color.

She's still the silliest diamond but doesn't cause nearly as much trouble as Pink did. She's still very indignant about being treated like less of a diamond because of her size. But she hardly has tantrums the way Pink does.

Noble Red Spinel

Noble was created as Red Diamond's playmate, once the Diamonds noticed how bored and lonely Red was on Homeworld.

She's classier than other Spinels as Red wanted her to look the part of a Diamond's "Best Friend"

She looks sweet, but Noble has a tendency to be needlessly cruel to any Gems she sees as "beneath" her, especially Rubies. Fortunately, Noble adores Red Pearl and Pearl hates seeing others upset. Noble tries to be nice when she's around Pearl.

Noble is terrified of Red Diamond, and takes every opportunity to stay away from her, Red may not care for Noble but it's still and act of rebellion, so Noble often gets punished.

Cherry Zircon's Pearl: Cherry Pearl

Zircon was given Cherry Pearl after winning her first major case

Cherry Pearl works as Zircon's secretary, taking calls, making appointments, etc. and takes pride in her work. But she would much rather defending innocent Gems in the courtroom than taking their calls. Zircon's is rather forgetful when she's not in front of a judge, so she encourages her Pearl to learn Homeworld's laws so that she can have an extra set of eyes on any given case.

Unfortunately, that's all Cherry Pearl is allowed to do.

Pearl hates her lot in life, and despises the Gems that treat her as "Less than".

Some redesigns of all the diamonds from the Houseki no Kuni manga!! (Some with more changes than others.......) Their AU designs are somewhat inspired by events and arcs in the story! I have a list of all the canon gems but I'm not doing them in order, maybe when I've drawn them all I will post their age order (possibly including my OCs in that list) I wanna reiterate that these are simply my headcanons for them, and I don't wish to take away from anyone else's headcanons or the actual canon- I'm just having fun and trying to tell stories :)
