how different would the taken AU be is Macaque and Wukong did have more kids?

I know they didn't because of the whole Lady Bone Demon thing, but what if they made another egg just before that and Xiaotian had some little baby siblings, like Rumble and Savage for example.

Would having siblings make him feel better about his empty ness before he ran away or would they make it worse?

I had the idea of taken AU but with Rumble and Savage last night and needed to ask

BUT YES. I also constantly imagine Xiaoxiao and MK having little siblings and Macaque and Wukong keep having twins somehow XD

Rumble and Savage would be so so soooo cute. I think this is the first time I've drawn these two~ Savage would be the one on Xiaoxiao's head. Has two ears and no red in his hair.

While Rumble has four ears and some red in his hair~

Having more siblings would help Xiaoxiao just a bit. Would give him something to fill his heart a little~ Yet, the more he looked at them, the more he would feel... jealous and sad. And he would hate it cause he wants to feel nothing but love when he looks at his brother's and he doesn't understand what he is jealous about.

I love this concept soooo much~

I like royal stories, power struggles are another kind of battle. When Jinzi was born was there any problem? I mean royalty is usually demanding that a king's firstborn must be a boy in order for him to inherit the throne. Maybe Jinzi being a girl could not inherit the throne.

Well at first, Macaque's father was disappointed at the result. Wukong's family on the mountain wasn't one for royal customs and were overjoyed that a royal child had been born at all. PIF and DBK (who were well-acquainted with the couple), were unsure how to feel about a firstborn daughter, but let it be after seeing how overjoyed they were.

Although both Macaque and Wukong had no problem with having their firstborn being female, Macaque's father was always one to follow tradition. It took him a while to get used to the idea that Macaque was being courted by Wukong, much less that his son would be the one to bear children.

In this au as well, Savage and Rumble used to be actual macaques in the kingdom, in fact they were Macaque's siblings. I won't dig too deep into that for now.

Unfortunately, Rumble had passed on when Jīnzi was born, and Savage always followed her father's footsteps since she was a cub. She already despised Wukong for ruining her brother's chance at the throne (said brother being Macaque not Rumble-), and hearing that their firstborn was a girl only sent her into a raging state.

It may seem odd, since she's also a girl, but Savage never wanted her father's throne. She was hoping to see either of her brother's take the title of king, but now not even her eldest brother would have a chance at having the kingdom, much less her niece.

It took Macaque weeks to convince his father that it was fine, but Savage was a different story. She wouldn't give in for months, and after visiting the macaque kingdom with both Wukong and Jīnzi did she truly snap.

When she saw that Wukong arrived, she challenged him to a duel, with the conditions being that if she won, Wukong would leave Macaque and Jīnzi in their care while he lived on his own once more. If he won, then she would accept what has become of her brother like her father did.

Now, we all know Macaque fights dirty. But Savage? Oh, she's a fucking monster when she fights. Unlike Macaque, who learned how to fight with magic from their mother, she and Rumble learned to fight with weapons from their father.

It only took Macaque to intervene in order for either side to stop themselves from fighting to the death.

Yes there was a lot of arguing between the siblings. Yes they cried the longer they argued. Yes their father tried to put in thought in only to get yelled at as well. Yes Wukong was utterly lost in the whole thing.

In the end, Savage accepted the child into their family, and even swore to protect her with her life. She still hated Wukong but that didn't matter too much.

Although Macaque and Wukong knew she couldn’t be an heir, they cherished her nevertheless.

With the twins Savage and Rumble, and the newest baby MK. Shadowpeach is implied, imagining that this is through the eyes of Monkey King.

I had a lot of fun with this, especially looking at all the reference photos. I have two color alternates with Macaque with white hair and a yellow/red outfit.

I am not good with names but yippee here are the twins!! They are... Sun Wukong's... creations.. but not really so they're Xiaotian's Cousins or Brothers. No one is truly sure. Still fun tho!

Twins and Chaos

Chapter 2 is finally up!

After a long time @b1uejey and I finally had the time and motivation to write chapter two. It was fun and we are excited to finally share it!

Shout out to the kind and lovely @ninjasmudge, the creator of this cute and wonderful AU.

"Savage started it!" 

Macaque sighed as Rumble angrily points at her sister, Savage pouting and having her back turned to her twin. It's been like that for hours now, the shadow monkey has been sitting between them and tried to settle this fight.

Without success, obviously. 

The room was still filled with blue fog, an indicator that Rumble was very upset. Savage has accidentally teared a pillow apart thanks to her strength, she was upset, too. 

"Okay… okay okay" Macaque started, only to stop when Savage blew a raspberry at Rumble. He rolled his eyes as the two girls started glaring (daggers) at each other after that. At this point they would sit here all day, the old monkey being the only thing keeping them from tackling each other. 

And he was tired of it. 

He groaned and sighed, then clapped his hands together. "How about we talk about what happened and how we feel about it? Maybe even apologise. What do you say?" Immediately the twins both stared up at Macaque as if he suggested moving to the sun. Then they both shouted "no" in unison and crossed their arms, looking down and pouting even more than before. 

To be fair, Macaque knew he had to deal with fights between them. He knew it was a sibling thing  to fight sometimes. Even over the smallest things! In all the years he has travelled around the world he has seen siblings fighting, twins included. Over and over. Sometimes even in very brutal ways that resulted in death. 

(He was glad the twins weren't trying to kill each other or start a war!) 

But that doesn't mean he has dealt with sibling fights before. Whenever he saw siblings fight, a prominent example would be the idiotic silver and gold demons, he just watched silently. After all, it was free entertainment for him.

But now? Being in the middle of two young girls who fought over who got to put the cake in the oven, it was suddenly not entertaining anymore. No, the opposite. He wanted it to end.

And because he didn't know what to do anymore, he also crossed his arms and started pouting. "Okay, fine! Then don't!" 

And just like that, the three of them silently sat in the living room on the couch, pouting and just staring down. Surrounded by fog and a torn apart pillow. The only sounds that could be heard were the tic tic of the clock, the birds of Flower Fruit Mountain and the chattering of the monkeys in the kitchen.

From time to time, one by one, the monkeys would peek into the living room, only to quickly retreat after seeing the blue fog. After all of the monkeys had "checked" on them, the chattering came to a stop as it slowly became dark outside. None of the three demon monkeys had moved since they started pouting. Which, at this point, felt like an eternity.

Eventually the front door of the hut swung open, footsteps following. "I am back!" The Monkey King shouted happily after entering his home. 

And that was the moment the twins perked up. Macaque startled at their sudden movements when they scrambled and jumped off the couch and ran towards Wukong, their fight completely forgotten. The shadow monkey sighed and couldn't help but chuckle.

A few minutes later the Sage entered his living room, one twin in each arm. At the door he stopped, however, taking in the scene in front of him. Macaque still sat on the couch, and the blue fog still hasn't cleared completely. 

Wukong stared at his moon, confused. "Di- did I miss something?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. 

"Nope, not at all" is the only answer he got.

Tap tap tap

Two tiny ears twitch at the sound of tiny feet on wood.

Tap tap tap

The sound comes from outside the hut. The little girl knew this. And it made her curious to find out what it is.

But she and her twin have been told by her babas to stay inside and not cause the other monkeys trouble.

The black furred monkey tilts her head in thought, her golden eyes narrowing as she eyes the door.

A decision has been made! The curiosity is just too strong and needs to be satisfied. 

Savage looks over her shoulder to make sure none of the monkeys is watching her right now. When she sees that she is alone in the room she quietly sneaks to the front door and opens it as quiet as possible. Thanks to her small height she has to stand on her tiptoes to reach the handle, but once that obstacle is out of the way, she can let her curiosity guide her. 

She peeks out of the door carefully, her eyes wide and her tail swishing behind her. 

The noise may have stopped, but Savage knows there is something just waiting for her, so she steps out and looks around.

And ha!

There it is!!

She knew it!!! 

Right in front of her sits a little frog. It stares at the young monkey with its big red eyes, its green skin shining in the sun light. 

Now that her curiosity has been satisfied she can't let that little creature go. 

She needs to show Rumble! Her sister will love it just as much as her! 

They could even keep it as a pet!

With that thought in mind she gently picks up the frog, and places it in her mouth. After all she can't let the other monkeys see her little treasure now. 

Savage looks around one last time before hurrying inside. 

Rumble is sitting in the living room and looking at one of their many books. It's, to no one's surprise, a children's book about the Monkey King. Beautiful and colourful illustrations decorate every page of the book to draw the children's attention. So of course the young monkey was no exception. Her blue eyes shine with wonder by looking at the beautiful pictures. 

So many colours! She loves it!

She gets interrupted, however, when suddenly her twin stands next to her, impatiently tapping her shoulder. Rumble immediately knew something was up, Savage's golden eyes are practically filled with mischief. 

Rumble doesn't protest when her twin drags her into the kitchen. Her own curiosity has grown on the way, it needs to be satisfied at this point. 

And that was much more important than the book. 

 "What.. do you got?" The girl asks. A big smile appears on her twin's face and she holds Rumble's hand open. Before she could question Savage's action, a frog has been spit on her hands. 

Oh Gods!

It's a frog!!

Both girls start squealing and jumping in excitement, Rumble being careful not hurt the small frog that tries to escape her tiny paw. After a few minutes the twins calm down again. The smiles not leaving their faces.

"Where did.. you find it?" Rumble asks her sister. 

At that, her sister's eyes seemingly glow brighter. "I heard a tap tap.. and was co.. cu… curious! S..so I followed it outs..outside and found that frog. It will be our new.. home animal!!" Savage practically exploded as she explains that, only catching her breath after she finished gesturing with her arms. 

Now Rumble's blue eyes shine too. She almost explodes from the excitement and glee, her tail swishing behind her, fast. "We need to build it a home!" She exclaims. 

Savage nods and turns around, opening a cupboard to get one of the pots. 

And that's all it takes for Rumble to understand the plan. 

She sneaks outside through the back door and starts collecting leaves and dirt while Savage fills the pot with water. She still gently holding the tiny creature. 

With her arms full of leaves and twigs she hurries back inside, Savage is already on the couch with the pot and waiting. 

Carefully not to drop anything, Rumble puts everything next to the pot. Her sister starts decorating the whole sofa with the leaves and twigs and even tries to build a little hut before she puts the collected dirt into the water. 

When everything is done, both girls take a step back and look at the work. 

"Do you th.. think it will like it?" The solar eclipse girl ask her twin with a quick glance at the frog. As an answer, Rumble puts the frog in the water, who starts swimming around immediately. Both twins look at each other, their big eyes filled with pride. 

Now they can keep the frog. It has a home! And it seems to love it!!

Their babas can't say no the girls decided.

They will be proud of their daughters.

Hours later, Macaque and Wukong return home to the monkeys frantically picking at their clothes and dragging them to the living room.

There they see the couch covered in leaves and twigs and a pot. On the ground the twins lie next to each other, sleeping peaceful, a frog in Savage's hand. 

The older monkeys can't help the smiles that appear on their faces when they look at each other.

Sibling Behavior

As much as i love the HC that savage and rumble are like kids I much prefer the realistic version where they are just goofy shadow clones who call. Macaque "boss" because realistically how would they be able to work for him if they were kids lol
