Okay alright part 2 ive seen now. I think i can start to scribble down some rambly thoughts. Spoilers for Oceanic Magica against the volcanic witches part 1 and 2.

So this is going in a very different direction than I was expecting. First chapter, I wasn’t a big fan of this whole oceanic and volcanic witches segregation thing. Thought it was quite silly and that it made the witch part of the universe feel less diverse. Now my stupid ass is realizing that’s exactly the point.

So world of ice is currently more of a fantasy political drama. The world of the witches is divided between two parties that already don’t get along well which each other. They try their best to cooperate and make the magic world inhabitable and not destroy their entire system, but as we saw in the court of law in chapter one, it’s difficult. Both sides are screaming at each other during a legal session, can you imagine how their political debates are??

Their legal system is in shambles, as we saw when they tried to prosecute Magica and Grilla. The judges are 2 people, both incredibly biased to their own side, trying to make every session come out in their own favor. Magica literally gets a lighter sentence because she personally knows one of the judges.

The tensions between sea and volcanic witches are pretty high throughout their entire society (it seems they just get out more in court. Kinda like with football in our world), as we see in the second chapter as well. When the 7-2 volcanic witches arrive at Roberta’s (LETS GOOO BTW ROBERTA GOATED why is she so tall though) house and a bunch of sea witches arrive to help her, they immediately grab the chance to insinuate negative assumptions about them. And to make it even more clear, we have our villain proclaiming everything is going according to plan. Like it wasn’t obvious enough.

So let me lay it down ever more obviously. Basically it’s: witch society= two party system that doesn’t work. Bad guy is trying to stir up as much polarization as possible by framing two people from both factions as having committed a terrible crime. Those two people are Magica and Grilla fugitive lovers running away together trying to bring justice to the table and fix society. The whole ice world thing is just a metaphor for problems that we refuse to solve because we’d rather make the other look bad than working together.

So thats the basic gist of it for now. Im especially curious to see how Enna will handle it at the end. Now lets talk about the other fun stuff.

Grilla and Magica are still gay

Some nice character moments that are probably set ups for later (like how magica completely changes character the moment she sees the number one dime. Great scene now that i looked at it again)

Of course it’s not all politics. We also have a lot of great action sequences. And its still a MAGIC society in which this stuff is happening, and its all delightful.

AND ROBERTA KSKSBEKSKSM For some reason Facciotto made her like twice Magica’s height. Look at this.

They used to be the same height now magica has to stand on a stone WHAT DID THEY FEED HER

But I like Roberta she’s a sea witch which eh we’ll see how that turns out. Interesting that she has a whole island for herself. I thought she was more of a traveler. But nothing actually matters except for the fact that shes here and i love her.

Irma is in the magic equivalent of Coral Island. (OR IS SHE??? Oooooohh mysterious who is the figure walkinga round in her house then?) She looks like Juniper from pkna. I guess prison just makes you look younger. I’m gonna sit in a cell for a few weeks and see if my skin has gotten nicer.

The prison looks cool. I wouldn’t mind if it’s gonna be the main setpiece for next week. It honestly looks more interesting than Coral Island already but that could also be recensy bias.

Scrooge is a huge dick which is fun. Feels very Barks. Magica’s line to him: “I’m not a good person, but I would never want to get rich by profiting off a dying world”(very loose translation but thats the general vibe) is great. I’m not expecting anything special with him (he’a just a side character here after all), and you already know when he comes back he will have realized what is right and use what he got for good, but it’s still a nice classic Scrooge thing. It’s at least not DT17 or Rosa Scrooge. I’m sorry I love Gervasio but I’ve just seen too much Rosa Scrooge lately, so this is nice.

Have we talked about Facciotto yet? I feel like I have but I forgot. Doesnt matter because Facciotto deserves all the praise he can get. This is 100% his best work yet. Every single panel looks absolutely stunning. Feels like a completely different art style compared to like 10 years ago. New Facciotto begins here guys.

His designs for the new ocean witches are great too. Character wise i don’t really care that much, same with the volcanic witches. They kind of all blend together except for obvs Grilla.

Love in the Air ep 5 messy review

Okay, Time for Ep 5's messy review. I wrote a review for episodes 1-4 which was A LOTTTTT. Anyway let's gooo

Ep 5 starts with both of them sleeping and Payu waking up first and the god himself has his hair down FINALLY!!!! it makes him so much hotter and he is already hot as it is. I love how he checks on Rain to see if he has a fever after last night's activities😏

I love how Rain wakes up and scolds himself for walking right into Payu's trap. His literal words were "I was going to flirt with him and then dump him but willingly became his instead" 🤭 I mean boy you didn't stand a chance from the start and can we blame you, hell no!!! (OKAY BUT THOSE HICKEYS, the boy got eaten for sure)👀☠️

his mom calls because she was left in the dark as he didn't tell her he was staying over somewhere else, his poor mom thinks he was innocently studying and she didn't get what he was studying so hard...

As Rain said himself "Do something else hard, more likely"😏 anyway he is going home, he wanted to say bye to Payu I am sure but then he got stunned by the perfect sweaty workout body of Payu... "I saw that stare and smile Rain!! Same though......"

Payu's workout session is done and as he looks for Rain, rain of course went home making him go after him. I loved this scene tbh, it was so tender after Rain apologized for going home without saying anything. The love that Payu has for this boy, ugh my heart!!!! The hug was everything, it was so comforting and it was just warm. The part after though made me laugh so hard, poor Rain. I love how Rain's mom is already smitten with Payu and allows him to stay with Rain.

Now, this kiss everyone, THIS DAMN KISSSSSSSSSSSS. first off can I say that I love how Rain willingly tells him he is Payu's wifey (like I never saw that happen in BLs but I mean Go Rain!!!! )Also, the way he goes in for that kiss when Payu pulls back. He was like I AM NOT DONE YET! like same.... But then the steamy reward kiss comes!! LIKE HELLOOOOOO. (what is this with those french kisses lately in BLs, NOT COMPLAINING AT ALL but what is going on!!!! ) anyway, that was HOTTTTTT.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Oh before I forget, I love the scenes with Sky and Prapai, like they are warming us up for their parts!!

Back to college, Rain is being all cute, while texting Payu, and Sky is done like he is about to get that phone and throw it away but it also makes him tease Rain. I love that Rain's voice always goes up when he gets caught. Ple though, she is really asking Payu's number while even her bro has a crush on him and our cutie Rain almost spilled the beans while choking on his tea🤭 The way he gets jealous and tries to be upset with Payu which doesn't work of course. Again a lovely moment while Payu puts the helmet on his head. I really love these scenes because there is so much affection.

I laughed a bit too hard about the movie theater scene. Sky caught them and the way he judged Rain is the funniest thing ever. I loved it so much! Sky's facial expressions are the funniest ever. The way he ends up going to dinner with both of them and the endless teasing, the way Rain's hand shook while drinking that glass of water, I loved everything!

Now we get to see the bad guys and if I am correct one of them is Sky's ex. At least that's what I', assuming. So he better rots in hell because I hate him already, fudging show off, ugh!!!!

Can we also talk about Payu calling Rains mom to ask if he can stay over? I love this so much! And just because Rain was being lovely towards him. I love that.

Okay I have to admit that with this humming scene, I just felt awkward, not that I didn't like it but yeah..... it felt too personal I guess but I loved the way Rain smiled and demanded more singing. I don't like it however that Payu always needs to ask something in return. Just give our cutie what he wants but anyway, he lifts him on the countertop and tells him not to look away, and then he starts singing, and that's when my soul left as well and alsooooo the love in Rain's eyes, like damn.

MY HEART WAS MELTING! LIKE I WANT THIS TOO!! I literally want what they have!! I mean it’s like Rain shouted at Payu afterwards 🙈☠️🫠

That scene with Saihfa, like poor dude, has to witness that in front of his breakfast. Like third-wheeling for sure. the way Payu tells him to just move out, made me snicker. I love it though how he put Payu on the spot by telling him to show Rain his world because it's only normal if you're dating. It's better to not have secrets and the way Rain is excited and definitely nervous about attending the race, is too cute but with that, we know trouble is coming and I just hope nothing will go wrong but yeah..we all have seen the teasers..

Today's DnD session was fun.

Firstly I played as Astarion, let's gooo!

Our tabaxi druid fucked a guard, forgot about it and thought he was virgin a hour later.

My first dice throw was nat 1 and Astarion faceplanted to the ground.

First fight was with undead so I could not use the dhampir bite.

I stolen a lot of money and laughed at a guy being poisoned.

I got inspiration from the DM for doing the authentic Astarion voice intonation.

First interaction with my teammates was that I tried to rob them.

All in all great session.

Okay, I hope you're ready for what I'm about to say, but... we have the fate thing going on between these two.

So to make it short, there's a shrine where babies get blessings shortly after they're born and, you guessed it, Eisuke and Koushirou have been blessed there. They were born in the same year, so there's a big chance that they were blessed on the same day. The text strongly implies that they were (because of course), but just the thought of it makes them sick, lol.

How they found this shit out is even funnier. One day, Eisuke was humming a song to himself, and the song is a reference to the female deity of that shrine. But it doesn't stop there. Koushirou also knows the melody and just starts having a duet with him, and it escalates to them sort of competing with each other.

It gets to a point where they decide to use the school's music room for these sessions (which they just can't stop having because neither wants to lose to the other so when one begins the other's like "let's fucking gooo"). Also, Koushirou can play piano, so he uses the music room's piano while Eisuke sits beside him and taps his tights like drums to the rhythm of the song. Except they aren't allowed to use the music room for that bullshit, so they sneak in every time and have to keep the windows and doors shut. And, well, volume 3 is set in summer, so these dumbasses go on until they're drenched in sweat.

To make things worse, y'all know how Ayano is. She just loves to describe things in... unique ways. Koushirou is described as "going at it mercilessly until the other person begs for mercy", and he likes to tease Eisuke by telling him to try to keep up, which Eisuke responds with, "Who the hell's trying to keep up with you?"

No innuendo at all. None whatsoever.

By the way, they don't show up at the tournament this time around because this was, like volume 1, just the prefecturals. It's implied that they'll be facing Kazemai again in the next tournament.

There is a time jump between seasons 3 and 4. Saru mentions spending 5 months on Kaminar. I don’t remember exactly what the discovery was doing, but the crew looked so happy??? They were delivering dilithium, having fun in missions and flirting on the bridge (pls give me more jola I’m begging you writers). They must've had enough time to process the events of last season. Also no one was going to therapy yet, so all that counts as a break, right? right?!?!!

Grudge is Actually A Queen

We all knew this but, even if she doesn't rule anything (other than our hearts), the cool butterfly people also said she's a monarch. That's enough for me :))

Omfg where do I even start, I've been screaming about this for weeks-

In DST London, Emily said they were playing jola like a romance. Emily and Oyin have been doing lots of character work since season 1 with those side looks, basically deciding that they are dating or have a very strong friendship. She also said that, even if they are just friends, “there's definitely sex involved” or something like that. [incoherent gay screaming]

BUT THEN, in an interview for Trek Central, she said that they are each other’s rocks and each other’s families, and that she looks to her as a best friend and as a sister. She could be talking about Joann or about Oyin, idk it’s confusing. I just want them to kiss 😭

Michael has another mom

In episode 3, Choose to Live, Michael asks her mother who J’Vini is to her to know who she’s dealing with. Gabrielle says J’Vini found her when she arrived to the future and took care of her. The line “I was once her lost cause” makes it sound like a romance, so… Michael might have another mom? 👀 idk it's kinda gay

They save another endangered alien species

Also in episode 3, J’Vini is trying to save the aliens in cocoons from grave robbers because their biomatter has high concentrations of latinum. She explains that they are called Abronians and that they are the last of their kind. So yeah, they saved another endangered alien species!

Saru/President of Ni'var (T'Rina, I finally learned her name lmao)

I’ll admit this is the only bingo square I thought could happen in season 4, but I didn’t expect it to be sO FAST. Also Michael SHIPS IT kjdshfkjds. That tension and those looks??? “Will you join me for tea?” Yeah, tea, of course. It’s like what I want from jola lmao (I still have hope). What do y’all think about it? Is there a ship name?

Looking forward, which other squares could be checked in future episodes? I have some theories:

Reno is in one (1) episode: Jett Reno will be back for episode 5 and I really hope it’s not the only one, but it’s a possibility.

Someone gets high again: At least one person has gotten high every season: Tilly in season 1, Stamets and Reno in season 2, and Michael in season 3. This season could be no exception. Michael’s log mentions that the Qwowat Milat has days-long sessions drinking hallucinogenic tea (??) and that she wants to share it with her mom (???). Normal mother-daughter bonging activities, amirite?

I cri: Tilly leaving did make me cry because I can relate a lot to her situation, but it didn’t make me cry while I was watching the episode. I have no doubts the show will find other ways to destroy me though.

Unsanctioned missions, mutiny and getting demoted are also possible, but I lack evidence and reasons for them to happen rn, so let’s wait and see.

It didn’t happen often, but it’d happened a few times, now. One of them would run into the other (and if Sonic just happened to spend more and more of his free time in City Z in order to run into Genos, that was nobody’s business) and each time they immediately and wordlessly settled into one of their little sessions, usually not separating until Saitama pulled them apart again… or that one time Sonic had a stupid dentist appointment he had to make. At least he’d had the last word, then. He couldn’t give the impression of running off with his tail between his legs, so he’d made a show of getting close to the blond idiot before he had a chance to incinerate him, getting up close and personal, caressing his face so, so carefully as he told him he was busy, revelling in how the guy had suddenly gone still, frozen in time, with the most delicious expression on his face. That had… awoken something. In Genos, probably, but definitely in Sonic.

He wanted to see more of that expression.

Sonic was good at thinking on his feet. It came with the job, it’s how he’d survived this long, but it also came with a sometimes unfortunate side effect: he rarely had an especially detailed plan for anything he did at any time.

Hence, the current unexpected little Situation.

Sonic currently had in his possession one (1) combat cyborg, very much caught, grappling hook nicely embedded in the back of his shoulder as a little bonus, arm hanging useless and limp and a generous amount of rope keeping the rest of the guy in place.

”Well, for starters I thought you’d be faster,” Sonic replied, putting a finger to his chin as if deep in thought. Why not have another go at a little jab while his game was strong. ”Guess you’re weaker than I thought.”

”Maybe I let you catch me.”

”Somehow I very much doubt that. You’re too proud. Saitama’s favourite little disciple and all,” Sonic taunted as he came closer, moving as silently as a cat. And with the hunger of one, eyeing up its caught prey.

Genos glowered at him, straining against his bonds. A moment ago his injured arm had been sparking but now it was quiet. The whole world seemed quiet, as if all that existed in that moment was the two of them and nothing else.

Slowly, cautiously, as if approaching a rabid dog, he walked up to the cyborg kneeling awkwardly in front of him. And then, quick as a cobra he grabbed Genos’ chin, forcing him to look up, to meet his eyes. Those distinctly inhuman orbs, melted gold against black, unfairly intimidating and pretty, glowing straight into his soul. His face, though, his face was warm and soft, like real skin, Sonic felt it. Even the- whatever structure he had, whether bone or metal underneath, that felt like the real deal too. Genos had nice features, he’d looked downright pretty if he didn’t always look so disdainful, so full of himself. But maybe there was still hope for him… maybe Sonic could take him down a peg or three.

”Heh… Should have known you’d lose this little game of ours sooner or later,” he drawled, using his other hand to oh so gently swipe a golden stray lock aside so he could get a better look at him.

”Maybe I’m just tired of this stupid game and let you think you’ve won.”

”Oh? You should have just told me, then.”

Sonic grinned as he leaned down. ”Don’t think I’ll untie you just yet, though. This is a good look on you.”

”You’re scared, then. Only dare to get close when I’m restrained.”

”Hush, golden boy.”

With that, Sonic resolutely sat down, right on Genos’ lap. He grinned as he felt the cyborg immediately tense under him. Wrapping his arms around him, he felt the heat through his vents, the steam rising through his shoulders and back.

”Oh yes, this is exactly where I want to be right now.”

He ground down, chuckling as Genos made a sound.

”You’re so obvious, big guy. And so hopelessly inexperienced. Just a big puppy who has no idea what to do with himself when offered a treat.”

”So teach me, then,” Genos managed through clenched teeth.

My Egg AU for dsmp that I've been planning ever since june-july time described badly

This doesn't really have a main character per say but, maybe if I had to, I'd say it's Wilbur cause he goes through the most shit but Sapnap is also a close second.

Part 1 of the Egg AU let's gooo!!

The SBI is living in the article empire, it is very calm and chill, everyone is doing great and everything is fine.

Until it isn't.

A mysterious plant, it seems has been spreading it's red vines towards the country slowly infecting the residents with a mysterious illness.

Wilbur is 17 when he sees the red vines take hold of his youngest brother.

The Artic Empire literally goes crazy after the influence of the vines reaches the royals.

Wilbur and Techno are sad, Philza is depressed, Everyone thinks tommy is dead, Tommy thinks he's dead and The Egg is killing people.

Oh yeah. It kills people.

So the royals decide to take a huge travelling session to find where the root of the problem is and also try to find where tommy is.

After a year of trying to find out what this red vine thing is, phil finally finds where tommy is. He is extremely shocked and happy to find his son and completely forgets that his son is literally covered in these vines and that he can get infected by it.

He rescues his son from the hold of these vines but for the price of him being infected instead

TLDR; Phil is now infected by the egg.

Technoblade and Wilbur find Phil holding tommy and they're very shocked and they immediately rush to look after tommy.

While Wilbur looks after tommy and tried to heal him, Techno notices something a bit... Wrong about Phil. Since when was he so.. Red?

Techno immediately notices something wrong with Phil and quickly tells Wilbur to take tommy somewhere else safe.

Wilbur is trying to Escape with Tommy but then Phil stops him. Then suddenly He is now fighting with techno and Techno is telling him to leave and the vines are getting closer and it's getting closer and closer and

He runs.

He runs and He runs not looking back, blinking back tears as he held Onto Tommy for dear life as the Vines raced towards him.

He falls down into the deep blue seas, feeling colder as it felt as if the crimson roots were pulling him down.

He can feel someone pulling him out of the cold embrace of the seas.

Someone with salmon coloured hair, rescuing them and bringing them back into the warmth.

TLDR;Wilbur doesn't look where he is running and falls down into an ocean but him and Tommy get rescued by a salmon

Healing arc with Wilbur, Sally and Tommy where They slowly recover from the Egg incident

Tommy wakes and is very confused as to what happened. When asked about the egg, he says he doesn't remember anything about it.

Wilbur tells him everything and Crimeboys have Survivors Guilt.

But they get better over time and they are doing better and Sally is a great "friend" And She and Wilbur get close.

They start dating and there's fluff

It's been three years. They are doing great. Wilbur and Sally now have a Child, affectionately names Fundy and Tommy is a good Uncle (but more like a brother figure cause Tommy is like 10)

Life is great.

Right?

Check in on my (not very realistic) wish list for episode 139

1. Nobody dies in the potential battle against Lucien/the Somnovem? I will be fine with temporary unconciousness but please nobody actually dies? Will they even fight? What was going on with the cliffhanger? I have so many questions!

Hey nobody died! Nobody even went unconscious. Can't believe we have a part 2 to this epic boss fight. This showdown is awesome! At least we know what will happen next episode.

2. The group uses their new eye powers for something (group telepathy will be hilarious, especially accidental) or just in general goof off with their new eyes.

3. Beau or Caleb discover more new eye functions that we have not seen before (antimagic cone anyone? Does the eye location have any meaning? Lucien’s was also on the chest right?)

4. We get to see more of the party members’ new powers/abilities since they levelled up and got a long rest! Let’s gooo.

MOTIVATIONAL SPEECH thanks Cad. It's a new power we haven't seen before! Caleb knows gravity fissure now, apparently! Fjord and Veth also considered using new abilities before the break. Jester used contagion on Lucien! It was a nice try.

5. They get some sort of contact with/update from the material plane (i.e. their family, Yussa, or anybody else I guess just not Trent please), it’s been a while I wonder what’s going on over there. Has Jester’s parent trap succeeded fully yet? Has the assembly been investigated yet? Has Yussa figured out what the Nein did with his emergency exit gift? How are Yeza and Luc doing in the crime bar? Is the Dynasty looking into Essek? So many possibilities.

6. The M9 succeed in stopping the city from going to the material plane and find a way to potentially destroy it by the end of the episode.

It appears that them plane shifting the crest away actually does ensure that the city cannot return to the material plane, that's great news! Also, I assume destroying Lucien would be a good first step to destroying the city.

7. Beau and Yasha continue to fight like the power couple they are and to indulge in PDA in the flesh horror city (because why not). Bonus: we find out Yasha’s plans for Beau’s red cape/the cape is used by Beau in the episode.

The discussion between Beau, Yasha and Veth LMAO. Oh NO Yasha is fighting Beau again - that natural 1 though! The miss! Another natural 1! The power of love!!!! Yasha also used the battle cry to protect Beau!

8. Fjord and Jester continue to be domestic and supportive of each other in these trying times because they are great. Bonus: more Sprinkle/Artagan mentions or interactions.

Jester and Fjord starting strong with the dirty/natural 20's! Also "I'd rather you wear it" "Fjord, it's so expensive!" They are so cute. Ayy Sprinkle/Artagan both got fed the Heroes' Feast! The excitement over the ring finally working lol. "Imma cast it at 4th level" lol Jester really tried her best to remove his slow and it worked!

9. Obligatory wish for Essek’s fancy dunamancy or magical items (Bonus: STILL hoping to see more high-damage AOE offensive spells that Essek has never cast because of the party placement, dark star anybody?).

The trapped haste spell MmmMm. GRAVITY FISSURE YAY hot spell flavour is hot. THANK YOU for that dispel magic on Yasha Essek you are the best. Nice magic missile but he is out in the open oh nO he is charmed oh no is he going to dark star the party?? Wheww thank you Caleb for the dispel, at fifth level too! He was so going to dark star Lucien if Cad was not pulled.

10. Obligatory wish for Caleb’s polymorph spell on himself or a party member. Actually, let’s expand to any party member’s polymorph! Give me those sweet polymorph interactions.

11. The party tries to reach Lucien by mentioning Molly and Lucien actually having a physical reaction to their words.

Wow that was a physical reaction alright, definitely to Jester and Caleb's mention of Molly's name. Jester's song also had an effect. Everybody is trying yay! Well, it was worth a try. BEAU'S bonus action Gustuv talk made him lose a legendary action WOW. Fjord's, Caleb's attempt also succeeded. In round 2, Beau removed 1 legendary action, followed by Jester

12. Obligatory wish for Essek’s room in the tower (it will stay until it happens).

13. Obligatory wish for Cad being a MVP in and out of combat because he always is.

CAD what a good pep talk I love you. Path to the grave and also the reaction war caster blight, very nice.

14. I NEED MORE RP PLEASE like last week’s high intensity combat was fun but I miss one-on-one conversations give them to me thank you. Longer conversations are even better.

15. Everybody being super freaked out/creeped out by the terrible flesh city thanks to Matt’s wonderfully detailed and awesome descriptions.

The damaged state of the city, how it leans towards Lucien's cocoon thing and Lucien's transformation... OH NO the stalks not the tentacle stalks.

16.  At least one of the party members get mind-influenced/charmed by some effect during the combat (well at least Caleb’s got mind blank and Veth got intellect fortress, but I would be surprised if there was no mind shenanigans).

Well, I knew it would happen. Gaudius, the eye of longing/love that did not affect Beau DID charm Yasha with a failed wis save and Yasha attacked Beau, again. However thanks to Essek it didn't last long!

17. Somebody check in a bit on Essek’s mental state because he is clearly not entirely desensitized as seen from last episode. At least he got a full rest so physically he is fine (just squishy, like wizards are).

Hey Essek got to open up a little bit before their final fight, so that was great.

18. Caleb uses more fire or his customized spells or just any cool spells in general I guess because what’s sexier than wizards NOTHING I’m still hyped from last week.

Gravity fissure already?? Sweet max damage, despite the save! Caleb you can literally just copy any spell you see cast can't you, high int wizard I love you. Also the use of that potion and the scroll were pretty smart too.

19. We learn more about Lucien’s motives and what he is actually trying to do, or more about the Somnovem’s different? motives because I was very confused last episode. Lucien wants to “parent” the Somnovem by bombing them with 10 intuit charges, like okay are you sure you are not trying to kill them? Then again, if that doesn’t severely damage the Somnovem I don’t know what will.

Well we now know that Lucien has all the Somnovem power inside himself now and is still very much wanting to bring back the city - at least he can't right now because of the threshold crest they got rid of last session. This clarifies a lot. I guess the "parenting" was to weaken the Somnovem for him to absorb them all into himself?

20. Obligatory wish for everyone to remain relatively happy and alive by the end of the episode except Lucien, and the episode ends on a terrifying cliffhanger as always.

I mean, should have known that Lucien cannot be killed in 1 session. Otherwise though, what an episode! What a session! Absolutely amazing.

Bonus:

ESSEK IS MAKING A JOKE LMAO I can't with this man, he is also giving everybody spells/gifts, cute - I guess wizards all have the save love language.

CALEB IS ABOVE 100 HP thank you Jester for that 17 roll from Heroes' Feast! I knew you'd do it. The feast was so crucial in their combat too, what a queen. Caleb always be covering his friends in his anti-aberration cone, and burning Lucien's legendary reactions. Great moves.

Veth are you... horny for Lucien??? LMAO

OH NO Gaudius on Essek this is the alternative Essek bossfight timeline OH NO but at the same time YES the angst- oh nvm Caleb thanks lol.

WHAT A FIGHT! I can't wait for part 2 and hopefully that's Lucien's final form. I did not think that the Molly influence will have such a profound effect, but I sure am glad it did! Everyone was so amazing in this combat, I love it all.

Chapter 5 - Then 

Summary: continuation of chapter 4, Tobirama finds out that your copulating sessions have been successful.

When Tobirama is determined, he is very tenacious. He does not let up until the results are up to his satisfaction. Which would probably explain why the moment he comes home, the two of you are rushing upstairs to make it to the bedroom to fuck and not on the stairs, or the hallways, or anywhere else where you could get caught in an embarrassing way. You’re probably already pregnant from the first time, but since there is no way of telling at the moment, Tobirama has taken it upon himself to make sure that the deed is done well and good. He comes home earlier than usual, despite the heavy work that has to be done for the peaceful treaty with Kumogakure, and then if he still has some work to do, he goes back to the office and leaves you satiated. 

 You can tell that Tobirama is excited, despite not showing it. When you tease him about it, he only says that it is part of his duty to bring a new generation of shinobis into the village, especially as the Hokage, but when you look away, you can feel his gaze on you and practically feel his wonder at the prospect of having children. Of course, the both of you have that duty to parent children, but you trust Tobirama to be a good father and a teacher, because he had a huge hand in fostering young children into good shinobis. 

You can tell that there is also a lot on his mind, and he seems to be a bit worried about how he will be as a father. It is on the way his brows knit whenever you mention the small things you want your children to experience or whenever you see something on the street, like a toy or a nursery crib for sale. 

 You cannot get anything out of him though, so you can only guess for now. 

Today is one of those slow days, so you take it upon yourself to look for Kimiko, so that the two of you can plan ahead for your pregnancy. You are still not sure what steps to take or whatever supplements you might have to take because you never bothered to take those things seriously. Now, you wish you had because you hate bothering people for help, even though it was offered to you. 

 You chuckle silently to yourself. You preach about things people ought to do, like asking for help, but sometimes you fail to do just that. However, this is something you are trying to change about yourself. You still have a lot of growing to do. 

You head to the kitchen, accidentally startling the servants that are there. 

 You smile at them kindly, and take your time to inquire about them. You share a few laughs, and then, you ask if there is something you can do to help out, hoping that there really is something, but they refuse your help and reassure you that they can take care of everything. Not being able to say anything else, you leave them be and you go on for your search for Kimiko. 

 Finally, you find her outside, hanging up bedsheets on the clothesline. 

 “Kimiko-san!” You call with relief. You jump over the steps leading to the ground and jog to her. 

Kimiko stares at you worriedly. “My lady, you must not hurry like that. You could get hurt.”

 You shrug, and you help her spread the next sheet over the clothesline. You give her a small smile. “My husband says the same thing.” 

 Kimiko chuckles as she places a pin over the blanket. “He is very protective of you.”

 “Too much, at times,” you giggle and you hand Kimiko another clothespin. 

“He means well,” Kimiko replies and the two of you finish the rest of the laundry in silence. 

After hanging all the laundry, Kimiko leads you towards the dining room and asks you to wait there. You look towards the wall, where you and the other servants have hung some tapestries that Tobirama had received as gifts for becoming the Hokage, and to the painting of a snow mountain range on the wall. The house is minimal and almost spartan, but it is comfortable and pleasing to look at. You want the decorations to be practical, and because at times you couldn’t make yourself care about such things, you decided to make do with the collections of arts that Tobirama and the other Senju clan members have curated and given to your household. 

 Some are kept in storage as you have no idea where to place them. There are rooms in the house that remain empty, but you know that your husband may need those spaces for his growing library and his multiple journals, or his unfinished inventions that may never see the light of the day and your combined weapons. 

 And the rest of the rooms upstairs can be the rooms for your future children. 

 You smile at the thought and tuck that inside your mind for later entertaining. 

You light the incense burner propped on a stand and then you go back to your seat, feeling a bit restless. You wish you could put your extra energy into training or being a shinobi, but those days are over. If you decide to defy your husband and continue to take missions, the people of Konoha may talk, and you do not want them to speak ill of your husband. They already concern themselves with your reproductive capabilities. They cannot be privy to any of your marital matters. 

You sigh tiredly, but Kimiko walks in and you immediately compose yourself and shoot her a smile. 

“Let’s begin!” You say excitedly. 

 Kimiko lays out several herbs and medicines on the table, some in vials or jars, and you are drawn to the colors, like a little kid. She sits down in front of you and gives you an amused smile and you give her your full attention, like you assume how good students do. 

“Do you know whether you’re pregnant yet?” Kimiko inquires. 

 You shrug, and give her a meek smile. “No. I am assuming that I will have to wait and see next month.” 

 Kimiko sits down in front of you, unsure of how to react. “Well, do you feel any different? Do you feel nauseous? More tired than usual? Light-headed?”

 “No,” you think back and reflect on this hectic month, but you come up with nothing. “I don’t have any problems with fertility, do I?” You feel some dread creeping up your throat. The thought of it almost brings tears to your eyes and you’re not much of a crier. 

 “No, my lady,” Kimiko immediately reassures. “Sometimes it takes a while. It’s different for women, not all experiences are the same across the board.” She smiles and reaches for your hand. “Besides, it’s a bit too early to tell. I was just asking because I don’t know how long you two have been, well, you know.”

You blush and stare at her, dumbfounded. “Oh.” 

 “Do not worry too much,” Kimiko squeezes your hand. “Besides, that is not good for you. You don’t want your body to be stressed.” 

You nod and then gesture at the small apothecary that she brought with her. “So where do we start?” 

 “Well, since you are not pregnant yet, we’re just going to make sure that you’re eating healthy and that you’re taking care of yourself,” Kimiko says. “You need to take some supplements, and I can prepare those with every meal you have.”

 “What kind?” 

 “Like, when you’re pregnant, sometimes a woman’s body will be depleted of iron, so you’ll have to take more of that. You’ll need to eat lots of vegetables too, to get your source of vitamins. Ginger tea as well.” 

 “For?”

 “Morning sickness, and the like.”

“I don’t even know where to begin,” you tell her, but you have already noted down the important details in your mind. “It sounds like a lot.”

 Kimiko nods. “You need not to worry, my lady. It will be part of your daily routine, and I will help you.” 

Kimiko begins to point out the herbs and the tea leaves, and some of the medicines that she brought with her, and you do your best to follow. You memorize the vials for treating certain symptoms that do not sound all good to you, and the jars with the ginger roots and the honey citrus tea, and other pleasant smelling green leaves that she presented. 

 Then, she tells you all about what to expect in the coming months. They do not sound delightful, especially when she tells you about the swollen legs and your muscles loosening and the gaining of weight or the crazy cravings, but then she tells you about what to look forward to, such as the first kick of your baby, and that you can even talk to them while inside your womb. 

“Do you have any questions?” Kimiko asks as she notices that you have grown quiet. 

 You shake your head. “No, not really. I’m just…”

 “Overwhelmed?” Kimiko supplies a gentle smile.

 You chuckle. “Yes. A little. I’m scared and excited.”

The doors of the dining room slides open, and they reveal your husband, dressed in his training clothes, the blue wrap-around shirt and trousers and his mesh under armour, and the green sash tied across his waist. Sweat covers his neck and his chest, and you observe his collarbones, finding yourself pressing your lips together. 

“Rough day?” You ask with a sly smile. 

 Kimiko clears her throat and she starts to gather the things from the table. The servants of the house are probably tired of the two of you flirting and fucking around. 

“Are those opiates?” Tobirama inquires, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. He glances at you with a raised eyebrow. “Is she alright?” 

 Kimiko lets out a strained laugh, and you take note the way her voice changed. “Ah, my lord. Those are for pain-numbing concoctions. They can be used in small doses, and should your wife need it for the pain that comes with giving birth…”

 Tobirama nods. “I see.” His forehead wrinkles. “I need to talk to my wife.” 

You roll your eyes at Tobirama’s abruptness and you jump up to your feet. You quickly walk up to him and push him out of the dining room, and usher him towards the hallway that leads to upstairs. 

“You are so rude,” you scold playfully. You bump your shoulder against his arm. “I forgot to ask her how I can find out if I’m pregnant. I’m sure there's, like, some mystical way of doing it. Like tracing the stars on the skies, or like, a lunar eclipse.”

Tobirama crosses his arms and he rolls his eyes. “Just take some wheat or barley seeds and proceed to urinate on it. If it grows, then you are pregnant. If not, then, we’d have to keep trying.” 

 Your jaw drops open. The idea of it is embarrassing to even think about doing.

 Tobirama glances at you indifferently. “I have many nephews. The Senjus did this to confirm pregnancies. Barley for boys, wheat for girls.” 

 “You’re joking, right?” 

Tobirama raises his eyebrows and stares at you pointedly. You are not sure whether he is kidding or not, and it makes you a little peeved. 

“Why would I?” Tobirama asks in a tone that makes you think otherwise. 

 “The Senju and their plants,” you roll your eyes and let out a small sigh. 

Tobirama shrugs, and you press your hand against his chest, and you push him towards the wall. 

“What are you doing?” Tobirama suddenly looks alarmed. 

 “A service.”

 “I beg to differ,” Tobirama looks offended. A harsh, red blush begins to creep up his neck and his ears. 

You pull him against yourself using the sash around his waist. 

 “Our Hokage’s been hard at work,” you whisper on his lips. “It’s only right that I reward him for it.” 

 Tobirama leans his head  away, but there is nowhere for him to go. 

You stand on your tiptoes, and you lean forward to catch his lips. Tobirama stops, and when you pull away, he looks at you, bewildered and suddenly speechless. 

 “What?” You ask. “What were you thinking?” You give him a cheeky grin. 

Tobirama’s face pinks and his hands grasp the sides of your arms. “Nothing.” 

 “Hm-hm. That’s what I thought.” 

Tobirama’s jaw tenses, and you cannot help but smile wider. 

“You do this on purpose.” 

 “Whatever do you mean, Lord Nidaime?” You feign innocence. You lean closer to his face. “What did you want to talk with me about?” 

Tobirama stares at you, at a loss. 

 “I’m listening–”

Tobirama seals your lips with a kiss, so quick that it does not register to you that your back has hit your bed. The seal that Tobirama plasted on the bed recently does have its perks. 

“Let’s use that bratty mouth of yours to good use, shall we?” Tobirama growls into your ear, and your breath catches in your throat. 

 Tobirama slips two fingers into your mouth, the pads of his fingers brushing against the roof of your mouth. You swirl your tongue around his fingers and you begin to suck at it, and Tobirama’s eyes narrow with lust. 

 “Good girl,” he whispers.

Sweaty and panting, you and your Senju husband lie side by side on the bed. Your body is still trembling from the ecstasy of being filled over and over again by Tobirama’s seed, and each touch and movement makes your shudder and moan. Tears stream down the side of your eyes, and you are sure that you have drooled yourself, but none of that registers yet. Your mind is still frayed, and you remember the sensation of Tobirama’s cock pulsating in your mouth, the way his aroused flesh just feels so rubbery and slick, and the way it throbbed and hardened inside you until he had emptied his load in you. 

 You touch your tongue to your lips, and you close your eyes, still seeing stars. 

You feel his rough hand on your waist, and you whimper, unable to bear any slight movement at the moment. Tobirama gathers you into his arms and you tense up. It takes a moment, but finally, you relax and melt into him. 

“Dinner will be ready in an hour,” Tobirama states. 

 “Hm,” you say, or what you think you have said. 

You share another moment of silence with each other, and you are content to listen to his racing heartbeat, which you have familiarized yourself with. You know every inflection and startle of his heart, and whether they mean he is calm or stressed. 

 Finally, your bones have settled into a pleasant feeling of fatigue, and you turn to your husband slightly. 

 “Something on your mind?” 

 Tobirama takes a minute to answer you. “Yes.”

 “What is it?” 

 “The peace negotiations with Kumo are successful. We will have the peace ceremony in six months.” 

 “That is good,” you comment, your eyes flitting close. 

 “I hope so,” Tobirama says. “I will have to go.” 

 “Do you want me to come with you?” 

 “No, I’d rather you stay here, knowing that you will be safe,” Tobirama answers. “Besides, if all things go well, you’ll be pregnant, and the trip to Kumo will not be suitable for your health.” 

“All right,” you acquiesce. 

 “That easy?” 

 “You know best.” 

 “I thought it’d be hard to convince you.” 

You roll your eyes. “Believe it or not, I actually do listen to you.” 

 Tobirama lets out a low, amused chuckle. “I see.”

 “You laughed,” you yawn. 

 “I beg to differ.” 

 “Chuckled,” you dreamily correct. “I’ll pull more laughs from you, Senju. Mark my words.”

Tobirama brushes your hair from your face and plants a kiss behind your ear. “I am counting on them.”

A new month begins, and you anticipate for the week of your menstruation. You find yourself alone again, as these days Tobirama does not want you to concern yourself with any of his Hokage duties. He has been mostly focused with Kumogakure, and while you want to do everything in your power to help him, you know that this is something that he may have to do alone, as he is the best in delegating. Inserting yourself into his manifested but fragile chaos may not let him give his full attention to it. Besides, this is the first outside project that Tobirama has taken on as the Second Hokage. The best you can do for now is to support him. 

 In your alone time, you pick up on reading again, whether they are about parenthood that Tobirama brought into the house at one point, or books of poems and fiction that he had curated over the years. 

 And in that alone time, you ponder the idea of what Tobirama had told you a while ago. 

If it does not work, then I’ll have a good laugh, you tell yourself as you go into the kitchen. 

You rummage through the kitchen, being careful not to make any noise so that no one will come to hear your lame excuse of being here. Finally, you get your hands on wheat and barley seeds and a humongous amount of snacks because you are hungry and these snacks look delicious, and just thinking about how its flavors make you look forward to eating them. 

 You feel silly just holding on to these seeds, but you make it quick by stuffing a pot with soil, planting the seeds there and doing the rest in your bathroom. Then, you hide the pot in the inner garden downstairs, and you stay the rest of the day in your room, eating and studying. 

Time goes by so slowly when you are not doing much, and pretty soon, you find your eyes growing heavy, and before you know it, you are sleeping in the comfort of your bed. 

 When you open your eyes, it is nighttime, and your husband is peering at you with concern or maybe disapproval because you remember leaving some snacks on the bed. He touches your forehead and his cool palm makes you flip your eyes close. 

“The servants tell me you have not come down to eat lunch and dinner,” Tobirama states. “Are you unwell?” 

 You yawn and stretch, and you blink blearily at him. “No?” It takes a moment for his words to register. “Wait, I missed dinner?” 

 “It is almost midnight,” Tobirama replies. 

“Oh,” you deadpan. 

 Tobirama sighs. “Let’s get you something to eat.” 

 “Did you just come home now?” You ask as you follow him down to the dining room. 

“I got held up at work,” Tobirama replies vaguely. He makes sure that you are seated on the table and he disappears into the kitchen for a while. 

 When he arrives, he brings a whole entree of food with him: the rice, soup with vegetables and meat, steamed sweet potatoes, fish and a few side dishes to go with it. 

 Tobirama silently sets up your plate and utensils, and you thank him and begin to eat the rest of the food in silence. When the rice has run out, Tobirama stands up to get more without saying anything, only choosing to comment about making sure to slow down and chew through your food. You shrug at him, still hungry despite devouring the last of the sweet potatoes. 

Tobirama narrows his eyes, but he keeps mum for the rest of the night, and leaves you to your own thoughts.

You peek from the threshold of Tobirama’s study. Your husband of almost three years is hard at work as always, with his jutsu inventing or just general Konoha policy work. You observe him for a moment, and you can’t help cracking a smile at the way his eyebrows knit together the deeper his concentration gets. His lips press together in a tight line, but you sense no bad tension from him. Right now, he is currently reading one of his notes–probably from one of his current experiments–and then transcribing it on another blank paper. 

 “Is there something I can help you with?” Tobirama finally asks and he puts down his pen. 

 You walk into his study and towards him. You gingerly take his face with both of your hands, and you study him. Your thumbs come up to caress his cheeks and then, you plant a soft kiss on his forehead. 

 “You look tired,” you comment. “You should get some sleep.” 

 “I need to finish this,” Tobirama replies, but whatever focus he has woven before you came, it is now gone and replaced by the tender attentiveness he offers to only you. 

 “Is it urgent?” You murmur. You bring a hand to his forehead and brush his hair up to reveal his pale forehead. “Can I help?” You kiss his forehead again, and then his lips. 

A smile flits through Tobirama’s face but it is gone before you can even process it. 

“It is urgent, but it requires about nine months of waiting,” Tobirama replies, and he places his hands on your waist. It seems like he is willing to be more affectionate these days. “Go rest.” 

You roll your eyes. “I have been resting a lot these days, Lord Nidaime. Why do you keep making me rest, hm? I’ve had ample rest time.” 

 Tobirama looks down at your stomach, and then at you. He does not speak, and he squeezes one side of your waist reassuringly. His face softens as an affirmation takes place on his face. 

“Do you know why?” Tobirama murmurs. 

 “No,” you start. “I thought you were just being your neurotypical, paranoid self.” 

 Tobirama sighs. “How are your meals? Do you find them agreeable? Do you tire easily?”

 You stare at Tobirama as if he had grown another head, but you know that if you do not answer, he will keep pressing you. “My meals are fine, and agreeable. I find it impossible to get tired these days since you keep micromanaging my sleep.” 

Your answers bring relief to Tobirama and you stare at him, confused. “Is there something that I should know?” 

 Tobirama takes both of your hands, and holds onto them tightly. “It feels strange that I am the one breaking the news of your pregnancy for you.” 

Your mouth drops in shock, and the two of you stare at each other, one in disbelief, and the other smug. 

 “H-How?!” You stammer. 

 “I sensed a disturbance in your chakra, and...I realized that it has the same signature as mine. Yours flare stronger than usual, too.” 

 “Since when?” 

 “I confirmed it just now. Besides, it was just a theory.” 

 “Dammit, Tobirama,” you reply, more out of habit, but you are not exasperated with him. 

Tobirama presses a kiss into your palms, and then your wrists. Warmth travels through your chest, and when you find your husband’s eyes, it is easily perceptible that he shares the same feelings as you. 

 “Now, go rest,” Tobirama orders, but the softness in his voice is so palpable, you are reeling from it. 

 You roll your eyes, and start to exit the study. You hear the shuffling of papers behind you, and you feel relief in your heart that he is not pushing himself as much.

 Tobirama suddenly calls your name and you turn to him, expectant. 

 You watch as he takes a few seconds to steel himself. He is looking down at his hands, which are slightly trembling and he starts to pick at the corner of papers he stacked himself.

 “Thank you, for making me a father,” Tobirama finally looks at you, and his voice is unexpectedly soft. The usual hardness in his tone is gone, replaced by this man, that is all soft tight-lipped smiles towards you. He is without the cold exterior that you experience from time to time. 

 This is Senju Tobirama, the man that you have always seen in him. Here in front of you, he is not the Nidaime Hokage, not the fastest shinobi in this generation, not the hailed politician nor his brother’s keeper. 

 He is just your husband right, here. Now. 

“I know I impose on you a lot, but I also hope that you can depend on me some more. I am your husband,” Tobirama quietly says, his eyes set towards the ground. “I cannot promise that I will be a good father, but I must try. My own child cannot experience the cruelty I grew up with.”

 “I know you will,” you tell him, and you give him a grin. “I know that you will protect them and fight for them, and that is what a good father does.” 

 Tobirama meets your gaze, and he nods. “Go. I will meet you in the bedroom in a moment.” 

You smile, and you almost break out into a run, but Tobirama quickly reprimands you. 

 “Walk, do not run,” you hear him say from his study. 

You walk, but you hurry towards the inner garden where you hid the pot of wheat and barley seeds. You pull it out from its hiding place, and you stare at it, joy bubbling deep inside your chest. 

 Tears prickle your eyes, and you blink them away. 

 The wheat has begun to grow, and you let out a breath that you have been holding. 

 You are with a child, and the realization makes you want to jump from excitement. You laugh to yourself, and decide to tell Tobirama your findings later, when the pregnancy is well on its way.
