Fr thought Sam's name was short for Samuel and I had an entire animatic planned out of a old flamingo audio but with a younger Jodi like " hello ma'am can you help me find my son, his name is Samuel.."

And Caroline is like " no sorry im working!"

Then I found out his name is short for samson then the entire animatic was scrapped

Stardew Valley Married (Divorced) Women X Reader Relationship Headcanons [SFW]

Caroline

- Not into physical touch when you first get together.

- Never really a fan of PDA but in private she learns to really love physical affection.

- She finds the farm to be really peaceful and she's thankful to have so much room to grow tea.

- She's excited to move herself and Abigail into the farmhouse.

- Angry with Pierre but after a few months she can at least treat him civically.

- Happily sleeps in almost every morning, and can easily relax knowing you'll make sure everything is taken care of.

- Hates when you're gone too long, she worries about you, especially when you go to the mines.

- Abigail loves you and asks you to take her adventuring all the time.

Jodi

- Super physically affectionate the moment you get together, she's always holding your hand, or has a hand at your waist.

- Loves PDA, wants to show all of Pelican Town that you're together.

- Once together she really opened up about her hobbies, she loves cooking of course but she never really got to do much scrapbooking or gardening when she was with Kent.

- She helps tend to the farm and easily falls into the farming lifestyle.

- She's at first hesitant to move in, she doesn't want to take over your space, especially since she has two sons that would be moving in with her. But once you have two rooms built especially for Sam and Vincent, she happily moved in.

- Purposely steal your clothes to wear into town.

- Low-key spiteful and tries to make Kent jealous at every opportunity. - Don't worry she's in therapy

- Spends a lot of time out on the farm happy to have a break from the 'mom life' knowing you're there to help with the kids.

- She misses you while you're out exploring and sometimes asks for you to take her along, but she refuses to go into the mines.

- Loves foraging for wild fruits and veggies.

- Sam thinks you're alright while Vincent thinks you're really cool, especially when you let him keep pet bugs.

Robin

- Not super confident about physical touch at first but quickly realizes she craves it.

- Not super into PDA but will sometimes give you a peck on the lips or hold your hand in public.

- Loves living on the farm, but can't ever have idle time, she's always out fixing fences or gathering resources. She never really relaxes.

- Very against moving into the farmhouse until she renovates the entire place.

- Steals all your clothes, especially your flannels.

- Doesn't talk to Demetrius unless she absolutely needs to.

- You swear this woman doesn't sleep, she goes to bed after you and wakes up to make breakfast before you get up.

- Happily takes care of the farm while you're out adventuring, she misses you but she can get so lost in her work that it feels like you were barely gone.

- Sometimes you'll come home and you'll suddenly have new furniture or even a new farm building.

- Sebastian dislikes you until you invite him to go frog hunting, after that he's still aloof but not as cold. Maru however thinks you're cool especially after you give her a free space on the farm to experiment.

Things that have changed im Sam's house since Jodi and Caroline went into a world trip and Kent stayed home as the main caretaker:

1. Kent wakes up the boys at 6 AM everyday to start house chores.

2. Everyone cleans their own bedroom.

3. Everyone cleans their own plate after dinner.

4. Laundry is done by the three of them every night.

5. You can't go out with your friends until you've finished all your chores.

6. If you dirty something, you clean it.

7. Obligatory bonding time in family.

Kent has found that his boys lack a lot of structure since their mother does everything for them (and is weary of house chores) so he starts taking a lot of chores to himself such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.

i have this headcanon in stardew valley that seb does community service as much as sam for the most questionable unexplainable shit you could imagine and because lewis is a terrible mayor.

we all know the moonlight jellies event every end of summer, right? it was year 3, i was talking to every folks i lay my eyes on like the social butterfly i am ingame. then i talked to sam and this guy legit asked if the jellies are poisonous because if they aren't he'll fucking yeet seb there to fucking drown idk if the man can even swim let alone stay afloat and lewis will most likely reprimand them for interrupting a special event and it got me thinking how their lives go about when sam is the most random man you've ever met

like can you imagine if one day sam approaches seb and gives him a bunch of freshly uprooted flowers because he finds the colors vibrant and demetrius is in the background panicking about how he shouldn't have picked them because it's illegal and they're poisonous and sam just goes "nah im pretty sure these stuff ain't poisonous" and the next thing you knew his hand is red and seb's dragging his fainted body to the clinic. the moment sam wakes up, lewis is fuming by his side going on about how irresponsible he is and that he and seb will clean the community center for a week and seb will say something along the lines of "why am i with him?" and lewis will make up a shitty reason to end the conversation

i firmly believe that one night in fall, sam asked seb if they could do ghost hunting and seb was like "okay let's do it" mainly because he's bored and doesn't believe in ghosts. so they wore masks and makeshift ghost-hunting equipment and stuff and walked through the town at 3 am in dead silence and darkness and only in their undershirt and boxers because as sam quotes "everyone is asleep at that time and they can just lie straight to bed to fall asleep after everything's over". sam is starting to cower in fear in his first twenty steps and seb just goes "mf this is your idea dont back out now" "there's no ghosts im telling you so pull yourself together" then they reach the bridge and hear the bush near it rustle and make weird sounds. seb does nothing while sam, silently praying, knees wobbling and hands shaking, throws his whole equipment towards its direction and hear it scream. so sam screams, seb screams out of shock, and lewis and marnie emerge from the bush. they had a silent agreement not to talk about it with the way they stare at each other, but boy do sam and seb enjoy picking trash for two weeks.

i have a lot of takes for this hc but everything's overlapping in my mind and i think im on the verge of overloading
