Меня, если честно, очень умиляет связь Табаки и Сфинкса. Казалось бы, насколько разные у них характеры, но тем не менее как хорошо они друг друга понимают. Ещё более замечательно, что их связь возникла с того самого момента, как добросердечный Кузнечик не смог отказать Вонючке в возможности принадлежать стае, где его будут не просто терпеть, а принимать. Кому как не Кузнечику знать, что такое быть изгоем без своего угла.

Кстати, возвращаясь к аналогиям Табаки, на мой взгляд, если Сфинкс – это мать Дома, то Табаки – весёлый и энергичный троюродный дед. Как у любого уважающего себя деда, у него есть огромная коллекция всякого ненужного барахла, которое пригодится по хозяйству. Непонятно правда, откуда в вашем доме вообще взялся этот дед, и, честно говоря, есть ощущение, что он существовал с самого зарождения вселенной. Но в целом да какая разница, главное, что дед всегда готов поддержать любой кипеш кроме голодовки и рассказать интереснейшую Сказку на Ночь (и не только).

Теперь немного поясню за детали арта. Это был первый раз, когда я рисовала Табаки в полный рост, и как всегда, на обуви у меня случился затык. В процессе вырисовывания значков на его жилетке я внезапно осознала, что если бы Табаки знал о существовании кроксов, на которые можно нацепить ещё кучу разных украшений, он бы определенно их носил, причём какие-нибудь максимально яркие. Потом я подумала, что и для Сфинкса кроксы были бы весьма удобным решением – их можно спокойно обуть даже без протезов и носить, не боясь, что они слетят. И вообще я, как большая любительница кроксов, не могла удержаться от соблазна нацепить эту самую удобную в мире обувь на своих любимых персонажей)))

Наличие кроксов конечно не соотносится с временным отрезком, при котором, как мы можем догадаться, происходят действия книги, кроксы появились позже. Но по задумке Мариам время и место событий не должны считываться, это абсолютно рандомная точка на системе координат время-пространство. Исходя из этого, я думаю, что имею право хэдканонить ребятам кроксы как один из вариантов обуви😉

A Call To Motion by @banshee1013 (art by @nickelkeep) is a delightful dancer fic from the @hoziernaturalevents mini bang! After becoming mesmerised by modern dance when passing by the studio on his way to work, Dean becomes Rowena's protege student. She tells him about an opportunity at a dance company in Kansas City, alongside Castiel Shurley, the man who's audition for the Paul Taylor Dance Company in New York inspired him to pursue his new-found passion. Cas is going through his own turmoil, having been cheated on by his former lover Ishim. With no one to dance his love inspired duet with, he's left adrift. But that all changes when Dean dances into the picture. So much great tension, camaraderie and the love inherit in a shared passion for dance. I adored it.

Mourning Doves by abstractthinking (@cascigarette) for @destielvalentinesexchange: 'The mourning dove symbolizes spirituality, hope, peace, freedom, and love. Some believe they are messages from angels.' This is a really sweet, quiet in the best way little valentine's one shot. Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and Dean wants to make it special for Cas. He's not really gone in for Valentine's Day before, but he's ready to fully embrace the romance of the occasion. Cas is somewhat befuddled by the need to manufacture romance, when their lives are already inherently romantic when in each other's company. Together they find a gentle balance of appreciation.

We Are Either Here Or Not Here by @hufflepuffdean (art by @armellin) is a 2017 @deancasbigbang fic post-12x23, in which Mary brings an AU!Cas back to a mourning Dean. Castiel is stubborn, judgmental, infuriating - and the best shot Dean has at getting Cas back. The conversations start as Dean’s last hope, but they soon turn into his version of catharsis. When Cas does find his way back, he comes along with stories of his own. I love the way this fic takes a possible spin on season 13 canon, leaning into the ensemble cast, and through it all keeping such a wonderful thread of yearning between Dean and Cas as they set out on a journey to forgive and better understand each other, between the universes.

The Day in the Palm of Our Hands by tabaqui - A DeanVictor fic! I'm normally a total otp fic girlie, but I love the possibilities inherent in Dean and Victor Henriksen's early seasons storyline dynamics, and what could have been had we got to keep him. Their chemistry is so great. So here's that story. Victor can't shake the supernatural world, and turns to Dean and Sam to learn hunter 101. Along the way his and Dean's heated eye contact trips into something more. A lovely glimpse at a possible canon timeline divergence circa season 3.

Это не было моим первым артом по ДВК, но это было артом, с которого все началось. Я перечитывала свои любимые моменты и очень умилилась с этого эпизода. Перед глазами прямо встала картинка Табаки в центре внимания всей четвертой.

Здесь я нарисовала каждого персонажа впервые, кроме Македонского разве что, и понятное дело, это была смесь из обрывочных воспоминаний об их внешности по книге и образов, ранее виденных на чужих артах. Забавно возвращаться к этому арту и наблюдать, как менялась моя рисовка и видение персонажей. А ещё для меня, как для человека, который очень редко рисовал именно взаимодействие персонажей, и никогда не рисовал больше трех людей рядом, такая композиция стала чем-то, выходящим за рамки.

Для этого арта я полезла искать информацию о полидактилии, потому что пространное "шестипалый" о Горбаче было для меня недостаточно. Узнала, что вроде как гораздо чаще встречается полидактилия только на одной руке, а не на двух, и на правой встречается чуть ли не в два раза чаще, чем на левой. Так ли это на самом деле, я не уверена, ссылок на исследования в статье не было. И я до сих пор не могу определиться какими же именно вижу руки Горбача, хах.

Здесь и на последующих артах, я ещё буду пытаться выяснить для себя, как же устроены грабли Сфинкса, и они всегда будут выглядеть слегка по-разному. Потом правда, при составлении своего файла с цитатами-описаниями, обнаружу, что почти всегда на грабли надеты черные перчатки, на которые я умудрялась не обращать внимание. Ничего удивительного, впрочем.

Лэри, кстати, мне здесь не нравится. Он абсолютно никакой, тупо ноль отличительных черт. На виденных мною артах других художников коне��но у Лэри присутствует яркая черта – прическа или цвет волос. Но мне кажется, будь его прическа такой экстравагантной, Мариам бы это упомянула, как в описании Коня. И на данный момент я всё ещё не имею четкого визуального образа его лица. Ну, помимо его характерных прыщей, которые я благополучно забыла нарисовать. Надеюсь, со временем все же придет.
