A/N: hey y’all! thank you SO SO MUCH for all the love on my last little story. it means the world 🥹 i literally read and reread this one probably 10 times, i wanted it to be good. this song is one of my favorites. i hope y’all love this one because two-stepping and dancing is my favorite thing ever 😌

“come on sweet girl! i'm ready to go find me a man!” my best friend, emma, yells at me from across the house. i laugh lightly, holding my mascara wand away from my lashes. “yeah, yeah, one second dear.”

i add a swipe of gloss before checking myself over and adjusting my shirt. my jeans hugging my butt just right, my hair curled away from my face, i felt good and i looked good.

our boots thumped on the concrete as we walked into the hard deck. we may not have been dressed “properly” for san diego but it’s who we were, boot-stompin’, jean-wearin’, country gals.

heads turned the minute my friend and i walked in. i think they all looked at her, she’s quite the sight with her long legs and pretty blonde hair.

we both walked to the bar and were greeted by an older woman. she had the sweetest eyes and the most genuine smile. she introduced herself to us as penny.

emma and i picked out a table and simply sat, she and i chatted about things happening in our lives.

as she was telling me about her cosmetology school adventures, i was actively glancing around. i caught sight of a fine looking man. he wore a t-shirt tucked into jeans and boots. his hair swept backwards in a clean swoop. as he talked to his friends and shot pool, his arms drove me crazy, the way his biceps bulged and flexed with every move he made. he was good-looking and he knew it too.

my friend hit my arm, knocking me out of my trance. “go talk to him, for the love.” i blushed, “he’d be more into you.” she rolled her eyes, “you know i'm not into pilots. go get him. i think he’d be more into you.” i made a bit of an odd expression, my teeth gritted, my eyebrows furrowed and i let out a little ‘tsssss’ of air through my teeth. “i don’t know…” “y/n, he’s fiiine! go!” “will you come with me?” she laughed, “sure.”

i ran through in my mind how i could casually sneak into their conversation. right as we arrived to the pool table, the attractive one i came for locked eyes with me. man, he was better looking the closer you got. “care to play honey?” a couple of his buddies snickered, i didn’t like it already but i sure liked him. “i’ll have a go dear. though i don’t know that i'm very good.” he smiled, why was it so straight? and why was it whiter than the sun? “that’s alright darlin’, i can show you a thing or two.” i know he was being an ass just because. my red flag radar was beeping but i didn’t care at this moment. his bright, sage green eyes and swan white smile kept me in place at this bar in front of this man and his friends. i felt the need to knock him down a few.

i was handed a pool cue by the only other female in the bunch, she had kind eyes and still had her uniform on. it read, ‘trace’. “don’t let him get to you, he’s got a big head.” i laughed lightly as the handsome stranger gestured with his arm, “ladies first.” i nodded once, before lining up my shot. i sunk one in right off the break, i made three more into the pockets. mr. good-lookin’ looked a little nervous. he bent over the table, lining up a shot, i saw the wrangler logo on his jeans and my breath caught a little. a man of good taste, i’d hate to make him lose. oh well!

he missed his shot. i bit my lip to hide my smile.

i ended up beating the not-so-cool casanova, he put up a good fight, he only had two balls left on the table. after i won, he shook my hand. “good game darlin’. the name’s jake seresin and i usually don’t lose.” i raised one eyebrow, still shaking his hand. “well my name’s y/n y/l/n and i usually don’t lose either.” he chuckled, “alright y/n, care for a rematch?” “i’d love to beat you again mr. seresin.”

i heard the girl named trace say, “someone as sassy and as cocky as hangman? i can hear the bells already.”

i beat jake again, smiling proudly at my efforts. “well thanks for letting me kick your butt jake, i’ll see you around?” i looked up at him, he was looking at me too. “yes ma’am. you sure will.” his smile seemed to never leave his face. my heart fluttered.

emma and i had decided to call it a night, mostly because we wanted margaritas, chips and queso before going home. we giggled about the cute aviators and i kept thinking about jake. not just his butt in those jeans, but the way he eyed me and the way his smile took over his whole face.

the next night we went back out, i was hoping jake would be there. my friend and i had gone to the bar. as i was getting out my cash, “i got this one sweetheart.” i felt a large body to my side, i turned and saw jake. “figured i should give you something to pay you for kicking my butt last night.” i smiled at him. “thank you dear.”

my best friend and i sat at the same booth, i had a perfect view of the pool table again so i got to watch jake… again. he kept looking up and over at me but by then i’d have already looked away. it had been probably an hour, my friend and i had gone out and danced a few times and were taking a break for right now.

“hey y/n/n?” “yes dear?” “that one guy… jake?” “yeah?” “he’s walking over.” i took a drink right as he got to our table. “can i take you for a spin miss y/n?” i felt my cheeks get real warm. “why not?” i slipped off the chair and jake led me to the floor. his right hand rested on my hip, while his left held my hand.

“can i just say? this neon light is making you look even more gorgeous tonight.” “is that right mr. seresin?” he laughed. “just call me jake, sweetheart.” “alright jake.” with every shuffle we made around the dance floor, his hand would slide further around my back, pushing me closer to him, not that i minded. his cologne wrapped me up in a sweet tornado.

we two-stepped for a couple songs before he called it to take a short break. he came and got me again for a few more songs. we warmed up more and more to each other. his laugh became the new song i wanted to keep on repeat and he certainly was not as arrogant or off-putting as he seemed to be last night. at the end of the night, our bodies were practically molded together because we danced so close.

“let me walk you two out.” jake had said, referring to emma and me. we happily agreed. his hand was on my back the whole way to the car. emma shot me a quick wink before getting in and closing her door.

jake smiled at me, “what do you say i take you on a date?” i slid my hands into my pockets and pressed my lips together, looking away before locking eyes with his pretty green ones. the wind blew a bit, messing up my hair and pushing it into my face. something about a summer breeze to make you fall in love. a smile spread across my cheeks, “i say it sounds like a fine idea lieutenant.” “good, i like the sound of that. since you’re such a wonderful dance partner, how about we get dinner and then i'll take you to an actual country bar and i can show you how a real man should dance a woman.” his smirk was more of a smolder, not arrogant but he knew i’d say yes. “that sounds lovely jake.”

his smirk changed to a grin. his hand moved to his pocket to take out his phone and ask for my number. after making sure we could text one another, he leaned in close. “i can’t wait to see you in a honky tonk sweetheart.” his voice was even better when it was low, my heart was racing. i wanted to kiss him so bad but i never kiss until after a first date.

he had placed one hand on my waist which sent my stomach on a roller coaster. his lips were awfully close. i set my hands on his chest, his strong one, mind you. “i don’t kiss until after the first date honey bunch.” an almost evil grin bloomed across his face. “a woman with boundaries, that gets me excited. i'll pick you up at 6:30.” his face was still close and i could smell his minty, beer laden breath. my heart was itching to go for a run. he gave my waist a small squeeze. “until tomorrow, miss y/n.” he gave me a soft kiss to the cheek before he smiled, winked and walked away. i let out a breath i had been holding before getting into the car. i slid the key in and turned on the air conditioner, not just because it was summer. emma turned down the radio so she could listen to everything i told her. we squealed at the exciting bits.

we rode back to the apartment, a giddy daze filled the air as we sang along to the music blasting on the speakers. i wanted it to be tomorrow night. emma was more excited than me, she’d already been through my closet by the time i got my shoes off. “i’d rather spend tomorrow doing this.” i groaned, wanting to just lay down and read my book. she rolled her eyes, clicking her tongue, “but like… you’ll have more time to make yourself up if you pick your outfit now.” she rolled her wrists around for emphasis. i sighed in defeat, when she wanted something, she got it.

the rest of the night and the next day went by like molasses in december, i couldn’t contain my excitement. i was ready to see jake again. i sat in front of my mirror, applying gentle makeup on my face. emma was curling my hair, insisting she knew the best way to do it. after thirty minutes she was done and i was too. i stood in front of my full length mirror, checking myself out. i'd put on some bell bottom jeans, i had my cutest pair of square-toe boots on and i had one of my nicer, more flowy shirts on. 6:30 came and our doorbell rang. emma let out a short squeak, “he’s hereeee! want me to get the door?” i laughed. “no, i got it. thank you though.”

he did not disappoint me tonight. he was wearing a pearl snap shirt, tucked neatly into his jeans, he had a cowboy hat on and the best part, he brought me a bunch of flowers. i pouted, “jake.” i drug out his name with endearment. “why did you get me flowers?” his tone was so darn sweet, “a beautiful date deserves beautiful flowers.” his overconfident demeanor had been tucked away, replaced by this country gentleman and i loved it. “let me get these in a vase real quick. follow me dear.” he stepped inside and slipped his hat off as he followed me to the kitchen.

he took a seat on one of our barstools as i trimmed the stems and put the powder in the water. “so lieutenant, where are you taking me this evening?” he smirked, “that, darlin’, is a surprise.” i grinned, “okay, fine.”

after i finished trimming the flowers, i'd slid the vase to the middle of the counter, “shall we?” he smiled his toothpaste-advertisement-perfect smile, “after you m’lady.” i giggled, yelling out a goodbye to emma.

he led me to his silver ford f-150. he even got my door. this man is earning so many brownie points right now.

he set his hat on the dash, “are you alright with the windows up? i know you did your hair all pretty for tonight.” i felt my heart jump, “as long as you don’t mind.” he backed out of my driveway, “gotta keep our hair beautiful somehow.” his hand rested on the gear shift, how badly i wanted to take his hand and feel the veins that run along his arms or rest my elbow on the console and wrap my hands around his biceps.

he drove us to a fairly fancy steakhouse and my mouth fell open. “jake… this is too much.” “sweetheart, it’s a first date. i wanna take you to this nice place.” i blushed and clasped my hands together. he slid out of his truck, grabbed his hat, while slipping it on his head he walked around to get my door. he offered a hand and the moment our fingers touched i knew i was going to die and go to heaven tonight. his hand found its way to my back as we walked into the restaurant. jake gave them his name and we were led to our table.

dinner was fantastic, jake could actually focus on something other than himself which i greatly appreciated. considering all i saw of him the night we first met was “the jake show”. our conversation flowed smoother than a river. he even insisted on paying. "you’re doing so much, let me.” i complained. “no ma’am. it’s not your job to pay on a date with me.” he assured me with his winning smile. i felt my knees grow weak, had i been standing i may have stumbled. my heart had officially been won over by this naval aviator whom i met only two days ago.

“shall we my dear?” he asked. "let’s go!” i responded, maybe a little too ecstatically. jake was perfect, all around, all over, just perfect. from his smile, to the way he talked, to the way he carried conversation, to the way he stared at me like i was the most interesting and important thing in the world and simply how kind he was.

he’d told me, during dinner, how he had gotten his callsign. i understand why that could cause some tension with his team, but the man in front of me tonight had slipped off his callsign and that part of him. this side of jake is one that everyone should get to know.

he drove us to the bar. i'd gotten a bit brave by reaching for his hand as he drove. he didn’t say anything, his smile said it all. i loved how heavy his hand felt in mine. i placed my other hand over the top of his and held our locked hands on my lap for the rest of the drive there.

we got in through the door of the dance hall and jake asked if i would like a drink, "maybe later.” jake smiled before leading us to a table. we sat through the current song and conveniently enough, the next song was a slower one. "time to show ‘em what we’re made of.” his grin was so smooth and sweet. i took his outstretched hand and he led us to the floor. his hand rested on my waist while my hand wrapped around his shoulder. i laid my cheek on my hand, trusting he wouldn’t run us into anyone. his hand slid around, keeping my body close to his. he squeezed his fingers on my waist which sent tingles along my back. his head dropped a little and rested against mine. "this is really nice.” i commented. he let out a small chuckle. "nicer than i’ve had in a really long time y/n.” i smiled. my heart was racing, i knew it was quite early but i couldn’t help myself, “i really like you jake.” his head lifted off of mine and, for a moment, i feared i said the wrong thing. i gave him a side glance since my head still rested on my hand, his smile was so big. before laying his head on mine he kissed my cheek. “i really like you too y/n.”

as the song finished, he made me do a slow twirl, before bringing me in for a deep dip. his hand grabbed under my knee and his arm held me up. he looked so good in this moment, staring down at me with his sweet eyes. i looked at his hat, "may i?” “someone’s gotta know you’re mine. but i ain’t taking you to bed until i marry you and i do not fight women.” i giggled, slipping his hat off of his head and onto mine. “i'm glad i can be an exception.” he brought me back to a standing position and we waited a brief moment for the next song.

jake and i literally danced the night away. he was really, really good. he flipped, dipped and spun me so much i thought my body might be all out of line.

we got into the truck once more and he drove me home. he initiated holding my hand this time and i felt my stomach drop a bit. i rubbed my thumb on his as i laid my head on his bicep. my free arm reached across and i wrapped my fingers around the crook of his elbow. i took in a deep breath, savoring the car freshener scent that enveloped the space.

jake pulled into my driveway and shifted his truck into park. he looked over at me with a smile. “i had a really good time tonight jake, thank you.” “well thank you for keeping up with me.” i laughed lightly, that man would not stop dancing.

i opened my door and hopped down, i heard his door close as well. "now just what do you think you’re doing?” i was really confused, "what?” “get back in the truck.” i picked up, considering he’d been doing it all night. i opened the door, climbed in, situated myself and pulled the door shut. jake made a dramatic step and opened the door for me. "that’s better.” i giggled and his smile shone in the night.

“let me get you to the door too.” “you don’t need to.” “yes i do.” i think i actually swooned. we took a few steps before getting to my front door. there was a near-awkward pause. "thanks again jake, i'd love to do it again.” he smiled and said the same.

he stepped closer to me and i knew exactly what was happening. i didn’t want it to stop. his minty fresh breath mixed with a little beer fanned gently over my face.

“now that it’s the end of our first date,” his voice was so quiet and gentle, "can i kiss you?” i wanted to melt into a puddle right there. "yes, please lieutenant.” his big hands held my face, his lips were right there, then the door swung open and emma squeals. "how’d it g– oh!” i jumped out of his grip. jake sighed, i blushed and whined, “emmaaa” “shit! sorry!” she closed the door. i laughed and jake did too.

i turned to look from the door to him, "where was i?” one hand held my cheek again, tilting my face up towards his. the other was secure on my waist. i had my hands on his waist as well. time felt antagonizingly slow in the period between my eyes closing, our noses touching and finally his lips brushing mine. it was that gentle touch, then i moved my hands to his chest and kissed him. i kissed him like it was my first time. his kiss would melt chocolate, it felt so good.

he pulled away and i followed briefly. he chuckled at my action. "already wanting more, huh?” i giggled. "shut up and kiss me again.” one hand slid from my waist into my back pocket before his lips pressed to mine once more. i wrapped my arms around his neck and he leaned in so far that i had to lean back.

he let go and our faces separated, just barely within focus of each other. i licked my lip, eyeballing his some more. “i better get home. maybe i can take you dancing again next weekend.” “or… we could make dinner here tomorrow night and dance a little all over the kitchen, because i don’t think i can wait that long before getting to kiss you again.” “i would love that darlin’.” we stood upright before he gave me a short peck.

i didn’t want him to leave. i opened my door, turned, and said bye. "goodbye y/n.” he smiled once more before turning and walking back to his truck, getting inside and going home.

A/N: i hope you all liked it!! one thing you guys should know is i love writing little stories based off of songs and i love love love country music. love you all! ☺️

For years Eddie has been playing D&D with his cousin Dustin and his friends. It’s a crazy home brew campaign of his own design that plays fast and loose with the lore, weaving in heavily embellished events from their real lives. They play themselves, filling out a full cast of NPC’s with the likenesses of friends, family, and strangers. It’s been a wild ride. The game is set in Hawkins, but not quite their Hawkins. This manifestation of their hometown is full of dark secrets, including a shady government agency, evil scientists, and another dimension full of dangerous creatures hiding on the other side of reality. They’ve just wrapped their most recent session before spring break 1986. It was a bittersweet end to an epic part of the story. A blast to play through, but they didn’t beat the bad guy, and the party has been left in ruins. Eddie’s character is dead, one of their favorite NPC’s is in a coma, and the world has literally split apart at the seams. Honestly, Eddie’s not sure how they come back from this. - In 1983 Steve Harrington joined the search for a missing boy and found something he never bargained for. In 1984 Steve Harrington disappeared.

I FINISHED SMT IVA BITCHES!

Damm how it's possible that everytime Atlus makes duology it's literally a masterpiece? Like dammm this duology is definite my fav mainline SMT like how could this make game this good dammmn

I finshed the game with Bonds ending and I admit cried a little haha. Happy to see everyone get the peace they deserved

Controversial AF take but I think I liked Apocalypse the same as OG SMT IV, if not more in some aspects. Yeah, it kinda felt like Persona of SMT but actually? I personally liked it. Like this and DDS dulology are proofs you can make darker game with decent character development (loved, loved the character's development in this game, yeah there were some moments that was...questionable but I believe all Atlus games have them lol). I had so many thoughts about those characters and this game and even though killing god using power of friendship is more of Persona's domain, I liked that change of pace - like it was interesting for me.

Honestly, the fact Atlus seems to forget about IV duology is a crime to me, like if those two games got ported they would be such a huge success and now with citra being nuked, 3ds shop closed and only way to play is either have old version of emu from like your friends that had citra installed or bought 3ds and hack it (oh, btw I did exactly that recently but still finished the game on emu because I had so far in the game I didnt wanted to replay 80% of the game just on og hardware but I'll plan to do it in the future!) the both games are on the way to become lost media if Atlus won't port/remake them ASAP and honestly the thought of that makes me even sadder :( I only hope the fact they made Dagda model in 3D for SMT V:V is some hint they are working on Reload-like remaster of SMT IV and IVA...i mean girl can dream, right? 😭

Anyways coming back to the game... Final boss was traumatic experience lmaooo. It took me 3 days and like idk 8 trials AT LEAST to beat him lol but in last lucky run I managed to keep both team alive to the very end so that was pretty cool and also managed to beat him without having to lower difficulty (beat whole game on normal) so I'm quite proud of myself now hahaha

But I'm lowkey traumatized lol, I need a long deserved break from SMT but I'm gonna play Reload now and I'm super excited for that (I SO cannot wait to see the king Minato Arisato once again, I love him also Nyx will feel now like a walk in the park after yhvh hahaha) as I awaited this game for so long so yeah, coming back to my Persona phase now hahaha. But yeah that would mean I beat all mainline neoSMT games and only classic (and SMT V:V when it will come out) would left for me and I think I'll try the SMT I and II one day to complete the mainline series just like I did with Persona

Anyways, I need some rest now haha, but yeah 10/10 duology, the characters will live rent-free in my mind for very long time (i apologize of smt iv/iva content spam in advance hahaha), will definitely come back to it again one day

A new world is born.

Began with a little world tour to kill some unique monsters and get more experience (and affinity coins)

After the Bana fight Roommate: Huh, I wonder where Bana went after this. Me, gleeful: Oh? You want to see Bana now? ... Roommate: He's on the wheel now! Me: He's on the wheel now!

I'd recommend looking back at the previous post on my blog for a conversation much too long and winding to include in this post. It's worth it. Trust me

We're finally back at Prison Island and we literally walked past the fight that made her ragequit last week. The deinos don't attack us on sight anymore and the rest of the enemies won't spawn if they aren't fought so we just. walked past.

...and we just got the second bolt element so we are once again not fighting Dickson. This is like the third time we've walked away from the main story in the endgame, it's honestly kind of funny at this point

Upon seeing Demon King Dragonia for the first time: "OH. MY. GOD." "Ok but can you imagine like canonically...like people talk about the giants sometimes but no one talks about the dragons. And then finding out they're real??"

So I thought we were mostly keeping up with the collectopaedia, but we're looking at it again and we're missing items in Colony 6, the Ether Mine, Makna Forest, Valak Mountain, two from Galahad Fortress, and the Fallen Arm. What...what happened?!

My roommate is very disappointed that we don't really get any lore about the dragons and honestly, I agree with her. They're so cool and there's only three of them and we don't know anything about them except that they were likely important to the Giants because of their presence in the decor of Prison Island

Oh shit we're going for it. Past the point of no return!

Oh oops, I didn't make it clear that "point of no return" meant that she couldn't save past that point. Well, at least we have the autosave at Gondorl

Dickson...his death really tore her up. This is the only time she's cried throughout the whole game

Oh interesting, the experiment cutscene in 1 doesn't actually show Galea touching the button. I always thought it had. I'll have to rewatch the version from 2 then to see if my anger at the retcon is as justified as I thought

top 5 gulag moments

This is so fucking hard, dude. I'm gonna say this one is in no particular order just because of the nature of it. Also doing 10 because the Gulag is too funny for just 5.

1.) When Rewind was off his gourd on pain meds and desperately tried to warn King about his peppers when y'all were playing Stardew Valley.

2.) That one time Snow ordered really really hot wings on accident and I instructed him to up the sensitivity on his mic so we could hear him suffer through every single bite and it was, without a doubt, the most horrible 15 minutes of our lives. I would make him do it again.

3.) This bit from when we were binging the entirety of the George Lopez show.

4.) When we rocked some random poll on babycenter for DAYS ON END so some poor kid out there would be named fucking Nedward. Genuinely possible that we led to a real human being being named Nedward.

5.) Tony's peggle stream. Literally had me, him, King, and Remy sitting there for 2+ hours, entirely invested in every single part of what was happening in that game. The 3 of us were sitting on the sidelines while he was playing like trusted military advisors, goading him into ploys such as 'just trust the zen ball, zen ball knows more than you 4head'. When we finally beat the last level, it was like we were on the streets when WW2 was declared over. Bedlam.

Also Tony made the stream look like fucking THIS by the end, which was a MESS.

6.) Both of these instances of Tau sleepy posting just days apart. I know it's technically 2 events but they're so intertwined in my head. Him perfectly and coherently saying 'DROWN' in the middle of the convo is literally legendary to me.

7.) Every single silly bit we've ever done in Red Dead Online, but especially the two times we've spent 25+ minutes sailing from Saint Denis to Thieves Landing so we could go over the falls in a big conga line of boats, AND all of the time we've spent at the fucked up bridges at Hennigan's Stead.

Shout out to Percy for clipping an instance of the latter together for us. Sad I don't have the footage of when Tony got slingshot into a rockwall and was forced to see a version of Kicking Horse (my character) that was just a generic white lady, but this is just as good.

8.) That one time I convinced Rewind to secretly send a fucking Intruder makeship plushie to Tony's house, so he could not only avoid really expensive norway shipping but also have a funny surprise for when he came to the states next. We uh... did not expect his mom to open the package and give Tony the funniest fucking heart attack in the world.

9.) Remy editing Shockwave's tits to be bigger and then trying to see if anyone would notice. Shout out to King for getting my ass when I wasn't even fucking AWAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10.) This could go to so many fucking things but i'm gonna go ahead and put down when we were arguing about what color Prime Ratchet was and found out the Pope died smack in the middle of the debate.

Special shout outs go to armored freaks, olm posting because I was forced to see bad TF content, and every single one of the really fucking funny Apex clips we've gotten that I can't share cause they aren't up anywhere yet.

1) Yun Seong - soul calibur series : he is fun hes goofy hes energetic and a little cocky he does lots of kicks and splits he wears a crop top his only goal is protecting korea by getting a cursed sword then realized oh this is bad i will now go hang out with my two besties he is a 17 year old child soldier get him out of here. i dont have character analysis for him i just think he is gay and transgender and makes me very happy. he is not super beloved by the game devs so there is very little about him to learn about unfortunately. that doesnt stop me though. you think i wouldnt fall in love with a man who queerly lies on the ground and fans himself when he beats someone up? think again

2) Maya fey - Ace Attorney : she is fun shes goofy shes energetic she has an older sister she loves with everything she has. she summons ghosts she is always afraid of never living up to who she feels she needs to be she grows up too fast she makes a lawyer her best friend she gets framed for murder all the time and is dealing with intense trauma but never lets anyone see and laughs it off but she is only 15 she is only 15. she is 15 and saw her sisters dead body and was framed for her murder and had no time to process it. she immediately tried to act like this was not the worst possible thing. she is 15 and independent with no parents and only an abusive aunt and she is all alone save for phoenix. she doesnt let herself think too hard about it she cant. she has to keep going to she carves out a grin and claps her hands together and summons the ghost of her sister to possess her body. how awful must it be to be so close to her after death but always still just out of reach. she was just there, but you cant see her. she is 15.

3) Wyll Ravengard - Baldurs Gate 3 : hes fun hes silly hes disabled he represses all his negative feelings and rarely shows anger. he is full of kindness he is kind on purpose. he needs to have a purpose and to feel needed. he was only a 17 year old child manipulated into twisting his life and his father cast him out and he refuses to allow himself to be angry about it. because if it isnt something he can make himself forgive then what was it all for what was the reason why did his father throw him away why did he not need him or listen to his words. he does not let himself be wyll anymore because wyll is not someone important enough to love. but he is

4) Gotenks - Dragon Ball Z : hes.....fun hes goofy hes energetic........ literally is just two children merged together and amplifying all their cockiest parts and i love him. he is just a silly ten year old doing cool trick and trying to be a hero because that is what he thinks is cool and thats what he wants to be. two mild mannered children together making each other stronger and more arrogant and it is wonderful. hes kind of a little shit. he just wants to be like the adults in his life. he wants to be as strong as his fathers and prove himself to them. he likes to spin and punt people like a volleyball. hes silly. in fighterz his big attack is so cute especially if you have piccolo in your team he passes it to piccolo it is my favorite thing on the world.

5) Chi-Chi - Dragon Ball Z : shes beautiful she is my wife she is half giant. toriyama hates her butni love her and she is mine now. she became a world-class martial artist and pursued some monkey boy she had a crush on as a child. she is one of the strongest people in the world and has strong morals and is the child of a king but wants to live a small cozy life with someone she loves and her kids and have everyone be safe and thats it. she is full of love but can absolutely wreck shit if it comes down to it. she is the only one whonis rightfully like hey. do not send my tiny child to fight on an alien planet. and then she waits. and her husband dies and she waits. and her husband dies again, for nine years, and she waits. raising two kids alone. she waits because she know he is coming back so she waits one more day, just one more day

6) Frankie Stein - Monster High : they have fun electricity things their limbs come off they are an inventor and 15 days old and autistic as hell but so excited and enthralled by the world and learning about it. they have a dog that is part dragon they dont know who they are yet but they are figuring it out but they know how to love and are full of wonder and just really really want to help people. they're the only monster like themselves, and have no community to turn to. at the same time, they arent any one person. they are made up of so many different people in their body and brain and they remember it all but only vaguely. DID coded king. to me

7) Russel Hobbs - Gorillaz : he is snarky hes the only one willing to punch murdoc he plays drums hes gnc hes possesed by a ghost that comes out when he plays the drums he is a father figure to noodle and is the only person caring about the Literal Child's safety and well-being. he became giant for a while and carried his essentially daughter around with him bc he was the only one willing to look for her. he literally always says the funniest shit hes everything to me. there is so little content about him bc jamie hewlett writes him away most of the time and i think i should be allowed to be violent for that. like ok i wonder why you keep not letting the fat black character have a turn. why do you think that is can you tell me can you elaborate on that.

8) Alistair Therin - Dragon Age: Origins : ok ok. hes fun. hes goofy. hes energetic. you get it. he didnt have a single adult who truly cared dor him growing up. he is lighthearted and has fun and cracks jokes but is willing to open up about his worries and be a person and is surprisingly well adjusted like hes been to therapy or smth. but then is he actually processing it or just saying it ? he is so convinced that he is worthless and forgettable to the point of putting himself in the background intentionally so you lead the team. he is scared and kind

9) Trucy Wright - Ace Attorney : she always has a smile but she so so rarely lets her real feelings peek through. she is the queen of repression she is so desperate to mever let anyone know she is really sad. she is just as snarky as her dad she is so silly and teasing. she is incredibly smart and intensely perceptive even though shes just a kid ! she puts on a personality of someone bright and energetic and carefree when in reality she is always haunted by knowing that her biological father abandoned her after using her to forge evidence and leading to her now father to lose the job he loved so dearly. she is so young but performs and earns the primary income for her and phoenix which is not something any kid should have to do. she carries the weight of feeling like she has ruined peoples lives so she puts on a smile and a show to try and make everyone feel a little better by putting on a smile and a show, which makes it all the more impactful in the moments when she briefly lets that mask drop.

10) Sera - Dragon Age Inquistion : she is a lesbian she is an archer so you know she has a chiseled back and strong ass arms. if she were real i would rubix cube my gender around and be a butch lesbian for her. she is so funny she is so autstic the game is so mean to her and assumes i dont understand her when she makes perfect sense to me and i love her so much. she does things as she thinks of them she cuts her hair by herself she doesnt make herself adhere to society and loudly and proudly stays herself even when others think its cruse and inappropriate. she has no self esteem and really truly is scared but she find purpose in having people to fight for. she is so lonely but passes it off with a grin. shes communist and kills rich people and makes fun of them. she stole a bunch of guards pants so she could laugh at them. shes the best character in inquistion hands down

I heard that yang is going to be joining Ruby soon as a VTuber!!!! And suddenly, the world feels a bit brighter! But, I would like to imagine how other RWBY characters would be like if they began Vtubing.

Weiss: Complains about how childish video games are. Gets obsessively over-invested and restarts after every mistake.

Blake: Also complains about how they are a waste of time. Leaves after 10 minutes but just leaves the stream going (after depositing a shadowclone stand-in).

Watts: Pretends to play a video game while actually hacking the computers of all his viewers (all three of them) and stealing their credit card numbers. Hacks the game to make his skills appear amazing and talks about his own achievements. Because, you know, his ego.

Fox: Literally fighting blind in Smash Bros yet manages to win every match while cracking jokes.

Coco: Queen of Sims. Supersonic princess of Mario Karts. Influencer paragon of VTubers. Scarlet's rival.

Scarlet: King of Sims. Supersonic prince of Sonic Racing. Influencer paragon of VTubers. Coco's rival.

Velvet: Best teammate ever.

Qrow: Worst teammate ever. Livestreams a DnD game. His companions only roll nat 1s. Qrow is abandoned and is yet somehow able to beat the campaign by himself while drunk.

Yatsu: Ren + Juane.

Sun: Abandons all of his teammates in the middle of a quest to go chase after something shiny. All of his teammates die.

Neptune: Acts cool except on water levels.

Ooblek: Speedruns games based on historical events while spouting off how they are all inaccurate.

Port: Somehow manages to make Monster Hunter boring (although truthfully, I don't like violent games like Monster Hunter).

Oscar: Awkward, yet deeply profound, commentaries on anime. Surprisingly knowledable about farming games.

Penny: Lovable goofball capable of breaking speed run records and everyone's hearts.

I realized while writing this that I based most of these on their earlier character traits. Probably because RWBY characters are easier to stereotype earlier in their stories before they gain complexity and development (an intentional decision by CRWBY and a reason why RWBY has such phenomenal character arcs). Idk, what do you all think?

-Classic Boss Theme/Vs. Classic Yo-kai: this one is so fucking HYPE it's sm fun to listen to!! Vs. Venoct and Kyubi slaps too and its pretty much a remix of Vs Classic

-Vs. Odd Yo-kai: I absolutely live for the weird goofy vibe of this song. If you asked me which song from the OST sounded the most "yo-kai watchey" this one would be my answer

-Sleeping Springdale (past): UM???????? HELLOW?????????? THIS ONE HAS NO RIGHT TO BE SO BEAUTIFULLY COMPOSED. WHAT IN THE WORLD

-Ain't Nothin' Like A Funky Yo-kai: Another super fun upbeat song!! The banjo in this one is insane

-Vs. Sighborg Y: ok so I probably wouldn't've known this other wise, but someone pointed out to me that Vs. Sighborg Y has the same little intro symphony as the Flintstones theme song. The theme for this robot character, which already sounds oddly western, shares a jingle with a show about cavemen. This is so absurd to me its funny

-Vs Whisper Cream but like, the japanese version: I am SO SAD they cut the background singers yelling "GHOS BASAS" in the English version. I understand WHY they did but that was easily the best part of the song

-Vs Merican Boss Yo-kai: the transition around the 50 second mark hits different. The goofy clinks and clanks are SO satisyfing

Time to info dump on my blog about IT. I love everything about IT but IT. I think the concept of a monster that attacks people using their imagination and can therefore also only be defeated by imagination is ingenious. The idea that it feeds off of hate because hate creates fear and the way someone could use this to explore the fear minorities faced during certain time periods and how we should be working together to make everyone feel safer otherwise we are the real monsters? Peak horror

The idea that Pennywise is more of an allegory for the monsters that is bigotry and hate????? Using the outcasts as one of the ones to defeat the monster???? yes please!!

Sadly, Stephen fucking King wrote the book and no movie adaption has been able to do the concept justice. Stephen King is my enemy must I explain why his delivery is terrible??? The movies only feed on this more by not explaining the monster and not delving into the themes. Also, ironically, the bigotry of everyone gets in the way of fully exploring the story and it's themes.

Not to mention a million things that could have been cut. Using Native American culture as a plot device???? No thanks ! The kids winning by... bullying... the monster????? Delete from my mind.

The scary moments are also awfullllll. Mostly discussing 2017/2019 because I am more familiar with them. Eddie's nightmare????? Delete delete delete. I need something new. Fresh. Not this weird zombie rip off?????? What???? Also, if we are going with the being gay in the 80s angle along with also having a fear of being sick, there are so many ways we could go !! Oh, and Richie ! I love him but he also needed a better fear. They actually went with the clown thing which is hilarious. The fear of death could have been a good way to go too but they barely delve into that. Oh, also, I think in the movies they should have explored more of his fear of losing his sight. That could be good. And all these fears can be tied into the marginalization of the characters in a way to tie by to the themes

Also Mike, Mike my main man is the only one with a scary fear scene. Only complaint is there wasn't more of them !! Also they took Mikes thing away from him and gave it to Ben only to give it back to him in chapter 2????? Weird but go off I guess. I think the movie could also delve more into his trauma and more so to tie back to the.... ✨theme✨

It can't be easy on her to have the constant weight of society's views of her.

More Balan Wonderworld - This Time with More Positivity

I’m almost done with the main story of the game - I just have Chapter 12-2, the Hooverton boss fight, then the Lance boss fight - but I wanted to give more of my opinions on the game, this time focusing on level designs and the costumes. *Note that I don’t have all the costumes yet and I haven’t unlocked the Act 3-s of the chapters since those are post-game. I also don’t have the Balan costume because I keep losing my three-badge Tims in my sea of 100+ Tims, which you need the three-badge Tims to breed and give a King Tim to “sacrifice” to the Father Tim statue on the isle. This is a long post, so I’ll put everything else under the “Keep Reading” button so it doesn’t clog up feeds. Hope you guys enjoy this!

First off, here’s my top five favorite level designs:

1. Chapter 9 Act 2

I am a sucker for carnival/circus-themed levels in games, so this haunted house-style level in a chapter revolving around a circus clown is absolutely my cup of tea. The rotating hallways scared the shit out of me every time - mostly because I didn’t know when they’d start rotating, then I realized it started right about half way through - and the large room with falling platforms actually managed to make me jump. It’s a really fun level and I loved it a lot.

2. Chapter 8 Act 1 Did I ever mention I love ice worlds? Yeah, I love ice worlds. Not necessarily for the gameplay of sliding around willy-nilly on ice, but for the simplistic beauty you can get from snow falling and ice statues. This level is gorgeous every time I walk through it, and while having the Seal Skater is a must in this chapter, it still made me feel like I was walking in a winter wonderland.

3. Chapter 10 Acts 1 & 2

Kinda cheating with this one since it’s just the entire chapter, but I absolutely loved the MC Escher-style level design in both of the acts. Optical illusions are so impressive to view, so getting to essentially walk around in an Escher painting was a thrill. I found myself looking around in awe at just how the different perspectives could alter the reality, and I really enjoyed it. This is also the only Chapter that makes it so you can’t fall out of the world, so that was a major blessing.

4. Chapter 6 Act 2

This is where Cass Milligan’s chapter turned full-on Alice in Wonderland, and I was living for it. The travel through portals had been a feature since Chapter 1 Act 1, but getting to actually freeze time and roam around was exhilarating, especially when I needed a breather after getting ambushed by Negati. It’s filled with Tim Traps, though, so you have to be on your toes to make sure the Tims don’t get grabbed.

5. Chapter 3 Act 2

I really love flying around in levels. I’m scared to death of heights, but when playing video games, I really enjoy the prospect of flying. While Chapter 4 is literally focused on Haoyu and his ambition to fly, I enjoy Chapter 3 Act 2 more because of the level layout. Don’t get me wrong, the open skies are amazing, but seeing the hollow trees, towering mushrooms, green foliage was so beautiful when flying around in the dark with the Dusk Butterfly. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Now, time for my top five favorite costumes. I’ll add some honorable mentions, as well (I didn’t do honorable mentions for the levels because I didn’t really have many favorites outside of those five... and Chapter Twelve sucks right now. I only recently beat Act 1 because I kept dying right at the floating platform bit near the end and ended up rage-quitting after ten consecutive deaths in the same area):

Honorable Mentions:

Iron Apollo - This little costume, while slower than molasses, was extremely helpful when I didn’t have Double Jumper. It can fly just as high as a double jump, which was how I managed to get Fixer-upper and Sickle Slayer.

Flame Blaster - I haven’t used it much, but oh my Lord, I love how brutal its attack is. I also love the added bonus that it’s immune to lava and fire, because dear God, Chapter 11 was a nightmare to get through since I kept losing my Water Blaster costume.

1. Frost Fairy

I feel like everyone and their dog really likes Frost Fairy, and I can’t blame them. The design is beautiful, the stair-jump is really helpful, and it’s just an overall useful costume to have. It’s fitting that one of the most beautifully designed costumes is the signature outfit to one of my favorite characters, Iben Bia.

2. Air Unicorn

Yeah, Air Cat is good, but Air Unicorn upgrades Air Cat so you can walk for double the amount of steps. Air Unicorn is not easy to get, but it’s absolutely worth having for Chapter 12 (so far - remember, I’m only through Act 1 of Chapter 12) and is a really good costume if you have to go back to Chapter 9 Act 2 going statue hunting. Also is it me, or does the design for the Air Unicorn look really similar to Starlight Glimmer from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?

3. Merry Ghost

I found out just how amazing this little guy was when I went back to Chapter 6 Act 1 to go statue hunting. While the Merry Ghost can’t attack Negati, it can avoid poison hazards and fly up those collapsing stairwells you can find throughout certain levels. I legit had to pause and laugh in disbelief when I found out that, when I was using Soaring Sheep to climb the stairs, I could’ve just stocked up on Merry Ghosts in 9-2, come back to 6-1, and go about my merry way (pun intended.) It also looks like the Pokémon Mimikyu, which makes this little ghost boy extremely cute to me.

4. Iron Panda

If you’re scared of falling off the edge with the Tackling Bull or want something that can actually jump while destroying stuff (Box Fox, lookin’ at you), I definitely recommend the Iron Panda. It helped me get the Paladin Puncher without me risking a plummet to my demise, it’s really useful in other chapters as usually you can find statues in areas only the Iron Panda can get to, and its design is just... it’s so dorky. I love it.

5.Itsy-bitsy Elf

This guy was definitely a challenge to get, but once I got it, I had a lot of fun with it. (When going for the costume, I recommend using Slow Tortoise to slow the blocks down, then just bolt back and forth with Slow Tortoise if you want to stockpile the costume.) Its design is absolutely adorable, the little doors it travels through are a bit disorienting but overall enjoyable, and its smaller than your Tims. Imagine being in the Itsy-bitsy Elf costume and hugging a Tim; that’d probably feel like heaven.

Part 1: Fandom Faves

1. Favorite new fandoms of the year You know, there are no exclusively new fandoms this year. Rather, my love for a couple of old fandoms caught fire in a new way. Like Mob Psycho 100 or Psychonauts. Oh! Milo Murphy's Law, Kaitou Joker, Inside Job, Super 4 (this two actually new…) and Percy Jackson too btw! Balan Wonderworld is deserves a mention too Okay, okay, that's all, otherwise I'll just go into the enumeration of ALL fandoms in general, because I don't know how to choose my favorite

2. Favorite new ships since this year If I lower my impudent ships with s/i, then I will say: Milo/Amanda (Milo Murphy's Law), Annabeth/Percy (Percy Jackson) Well, obviously Terumob and Shoritsu (Mob Psycho 100), haha

3. Favorite anime/TV show of the year Oh I also started watching Supernatural this year and I should keep watching (while I'm stuck on the first episodes of season 4), I definitely like this show Speaking of anime - Mob Psycho 100 and Kaitou Joker, I haven't really watched anything else huh

4. Favorite movie of the year Complicated question, yet I watch a lot of things, but at the same time I remember a little… Only Klaus (2019) and Rise of the Guardians come to mind, which I'm going to review closer to the holidays

Favorite soundtrack of the year The Meat Circus from Psychonauts (this tune haunted my mind for a month while I was playing the second part and actively sat in the fandom, haha) Crazy Necross from Vangers GO GO REIGEN! from Mob Psycho 100 which I just found but I love it and want to set it as my ringtone lol The whole Gris ost (the ending of the game makes me cry when I need to…), the whole Beetlejuice east… I guess that's it, heh.

7. Favorite book/manga/comic of the year Percy Jackson book series (honestly, I promise myself to still find time and read the Mark of Athena from the second cycle TwT)

8. Favorite game of the year Psychonauts 2, this game literally became the first platformer (well, in general, a game where you need to run, jump and beat enemies) that I went through completely And Little Inferno too

9. Highlight of this year to remember Entrance exams and college admissions, god it was this summer but it feels like it's been YEARS

Rating the TMA fears by how much they freak me out

the Buried: on one hand weighted blankets are not enough, i need the hydraulic press. and also i like dirt and my job is literally being a rock dealer. on the other hand the thought of getting stuck freaks me out. i once got my knee stuck in the railing waiting in like for a roller coaster and i panicked so bad. also on the not literal side, i have bad money anxiety. so like- it's a sometimes fear. 5/10.

the Corruption: i hate ants i hate ants i hate ants SO fucking much every time i see a bunch of them my skin crawls and i can FEEL them under my skin and any time a ant gets on me it takes hours too not feel it on my skin anymore. 8/10 FUCK ants.

the Dark: the dark itself isn't a problem for me. it's just my anxiety sees darkness as a chance too kick my ass with existential dread. 4/10.

the Desolation: the desolation doesn't really spark much fear into me. i suppose i wouldn't like being hurt or my shit being destroyed but i don't exactly FEAR it. 2/10.

the End: 10/10.

the Eye: you ain't scary bitch. 0/10.

the Flesh: i thought i didn't fear the flesh until i had too look up organ references so i can Know Textures and then i felt actually sick looking at this shit. 6/10.

the Hunt: the reason i don't play a lot of horror games is because i do NOT take being pursued well. i played Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion once for a twitch stream and i felt like i was gonna pass out right then and there. but also i’m a monster fucker and the Hunt is the sexiest fear so- 7/10.

the Lonely: i suppose too some extent? being lone would not be ideal. a lot of times when i lived away from people where like, my only friends were online, i was SUPER depressed. currently living in a place where i can go places and talk too people in the flesh who aren't my family has done GREAT things for my mental health. and i suppose i do fear losing my online friends. the fear of them not liking me anymore and then leaving. 8/10.

the Slaughter: i'm a very queer person living in the midwest i always have some fear of getting my ass beat. and there's been plenty of times where i've feared violence. but also the Slaughter is the second sexiest fear only because of Melanie King. 7/10.

the Spiral: one time my boss pointed out that the door too the shop was still locked even tho i could have sworn i unlocked it and it caused me distress for the rest of the day. i always half joke that i wouldn't be surprised if i started hallucinating but i think realistically i would be just a touch freaked out if i really did. 7/10.

the Stranger: the first sexiest fear because my bf is a self proclaimed avatar of the Stranger and he's the sexiest man alive. 5/10.

the Vast: this one gets me both because ever since i broke my arm i've had a fear of falling and also because i suffer from existential dread. on the other hand i love the feeling of the wind screaming in my ear and the way my face and hands sting and tingle after being assaulted by the air rushing past me.  9/10.

The Accidental Date

Criminal Case Fanfic

Characters: GPD, cc suspects

Parings: Cathy/Alex (platonic/two sided), June/David (one sided that I may have accidentally evolved into two sided/platonic/canon x oc)

Warnings: swearing

Chief King give June and Jones an odd mission to watch over Cathex. (I was at a pier so I got inspiration plus I make too many angst fanfics so here fluff)

"Can I have Inspector Jones and Captain Shiloh in the chief's office, please? I repeat: may I have the paring Captain Shiloh and Inspector Jones in my office, please. Like, right now."

"What... HE'S AT IT AGAIN, ISN'T HE." June slammed his hand onto his face.

"He's been at it. He just won't let them be." Jones stood up from his chair.

June and Jones made it to Chief King's office and SHEESH did he look pissed.

"Cathy planned a date with Alex again. AGAIN." Chief King was tapping his fingers onto the desk. "And well... I need a favor from you two."

"You want us to watch them."

"Now, Shiloh, there's no need to be depressed about it. Cus if this was your kid, you'd be as pissed." Chief King placed his hand on his cheek. "Now, I wasn't gonna suggest this, but yes, I need you two to watch them. BUT! Try not to let them see you two. Go in disguises if you have to."

"Oh come on Chief, this is our night off... it's like what! 10:36 right now!" June was tired of this happening.

"Their date is at the pier."

"... I'm in, I heard they had the best pumpkin spiced cakes there." June was suddenly motivated.

"Alright... to the pier it is." Jones was also a little motivated for the pier.

Cathy and Alex made it to the pier.

"I really love how the streets are covered in lights..." Cathy looked around to see how pretty the pier at night time was.

Alex looked around and sure, the pier was beautiful. But it couldn't match Cathy's beauty.

... If only he had the courage to tell her that.

"Ooh! There's an arcade. I bet you 5 bucks I can beat you at 3 out of 5 games!"

"Oh, you're on."

They entered the arcade and wow. There was a bunch of people. Huh. Even some couple who were looking confused with a game were trying to have some fun.

"How about a race game? I know you can be a slow runner." Cathy smirked with confidence.

"Oh really? Well, I bet we could test and see if I got game."

Cathy and Alex headed off to the racing games.

Meanwhile, the 'couple'...

"Remind me why did I have to wear this again?" David was wearing a simple blue dress with a yellow hat along with it having a green ribbon attached. He also has green shoes to match the hat's ribbon.

"Cus I have the beard. Sure, you're tall, but people would be more confused about faces." June placed his black hat onto his head. His hair was in a bun as he had a red collared shirt with green jeans and red boots. "Look, when we leave for their next destination, I'll pick us a different outfit. But right now, we gotta keep an eye on them. They just headed to the car games."

"Well, let's get this over with, cus this dress is too long for me. Not that I hate dresses, I just hate this dress."

June and David headed to the car games to find Cathy and Alex racing with the screens on different sides.

"They're... literally fine. I don't know why we had to get here." David started to twitch in the dress. "Huh. It seems like Cathy even won and Alex isn't mad."

"Yep. Oh wait! CATHY'S COMING THIS WAY!" June looked around and accidentally pushed David and himself into a photo booth.

"I'll be right back Alex, I'm going to drink some water! Don't cheat while I'm gone!"

"Cheat! Hah! Just because you won this round doesn't mean I'll give up, I'm warming up for the next round!"

Cathy gave a little smirk before heading off. "Geez... he really is that cute."

In the photo booth, David couldn't help but giggle. "She said he's cute! He really does have a chance with her!"

"Don't be too silly. It was only their first date and this is like what. Their third? Fourth? ...Okay, maybe they do." June looked around the photo booth. He noticed the picture's filters. Animals, bakery, love, treasure, movie theater....

"Do you wanna take one? Just because the chief put us on a little mission doesn't mean we can't have a little fun!"

"... Fuck it. Sure." June pulled out his wallet and used his $5 for 4 pictures in one strip.

One pic started with David smiling and trying to get June to smile as well (it worked). Another pic followed with funny faces. Another pic followed with them trying to act like each other by David acting mean as June acted silly. The pic followed with David acting like Alden and saying the dumbest shit which made June laugh.

They were able to get two copies for each to keep. David peeked out the curtain. "I think they're leaving the arcade. We should go."

"How do you feel about candy?" Alex and Cathy went to the store

"I love it! Especially the cotton candy."

Following the date was David and June. Only this time, David was wearing a white t-shirt with a leather jacket and jeans with red and black shoes, along with him letting his hair down as he wore a red mask. Meanwhile, June was wearing a black shirt with yellow pants and grey shoes. He was also wearing a necklace with a cross while letting his hair down, only tying some of it behind. The theme was chosen as bakery.

"We should get this one! It has a bear holding it."

Alex checked the price of the bear with the cotton candy. "It's just $8! That's pretty cool!"

Alex picked up the bear as they headed to the register.

David looked around. "How do you feel about candy?"

"Hate it. I can only tolerate pumpkin spiced cake."

"Oh..."

June looked at David with a little regret. "Look, man, if you want some candy, I won't stop you."

"It's not that. I think I may have left my wallet in the car."

"... I'll get it."

"It's cool, I can just go ba-"

"Gotta focus on these two. But like you said, David, we can have some fun."

"... Alright. But I'll pay you back-"

"No. You're my friend and that's what matters. Besides, I save A LOT, so don't bother. Now, what's on your mind?" June looked around the place.

"Uh..."

"Please do not eat it all at once. You'll get a fucking stomachache." June and David left the store as David carried the bag of sweets.

"I'll try." David looked around to see Cathy and Alex head into the amusement park.

Alex looked at the rides. Some were little, some were... tall.

Cathy looked around with an amazed look on her face. "Dude, they have so many cool rides!" She also happened to notice that Alex looked at unease about the tall rides. "Hey, don't worry! Just because I wanna go doesn't mean you have to go. Besides, there's this cool ass ride I heard about that you could probably be chill with!"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah! Over there!" Cathy pointed to the Love Tunnel.

Yeah, as much as he hated tall rides, he'd rather suffer on those than suffer with embarrassment from in there. But since Cathy wanted to go there... "Sure! Why not..."

The line was short so they and some other people got to go on a ride. Alex looked around and saw angels and smiling faces and hearts that made his heart fluffy.

As much as this kinda made June's heart fluffy.

Behind Cathex was the undercover duo. June was wearing his hair down with a black scarf on it and had a red t-shirt and black Jeans with red and white shoes. He had a mask on. David was wearing a green sweater with a white scarf on his hair which was now in a small ponytail to match June's scarf. He wore blue jeans as before and white shoes.

June was having a hard time with focusing on the Love Tunnel's theme. "Ughhh... why did we have to go through this..."

As June looked around, David was also looking around. But only oblivious. "We should be able to go early. They seem okay."

"Might as well text Chief King our progress so far." June pulled out his phone to be distracted into the mission again.

Huh. Now that David thought about it, this place was rather... lovey-dovey. But it wasn't just the place. It was how Cathy and Alex's date choices. at the pier seemed... off. No, Cathy and Alex were perfectly fine. It was... how him and June were handling it. First, the photo booth, then the extra candy, now... this.

Then he realized. This isn't even feeling like a mission anymore. This seemed to feel more like... a double date?!

Somehow, David noticed his face going warm. He looked into the water below the rides and... his face turned red. Then he turned to June and noticed his face was just as red. Maybe it's the context of the date that no one knows about really. Maybe Cathy and Alex can't see through their disguises, but some other people could. Maybe they're both embarrassed.

Maybe they both noticed that this was... embarrassing. .... Or something that... is making him feel... warm. And the air... was cold.

June looked back at his phone with a sigh of relief. "He said we should be good to leave the situation. Hopefully, Alex will be at work tomorrow."

David answered without looking at June. "... Yeah. Great." He looked around and saw that they were about to come to a stop.

"Do you... still wanna hang out after this? Today?"

David looked at June with even more red on their faces. "... Yeah."

Shit. David was not gonna forget this, was he.

As Cathy and Alex looked around to see if June and David were still following him, they started to laugh.

"Finally! We should let my grandpa know and tell him that we got some photos of these two!"

"I'm actually suprised this worked. Those two gotta get together some day, their tension is ridiculously funny as hell."

Cathy gave Alex a shoulder bump. "They're just so dorky in love. Ughhh, you should have turned to see their faces when they weren't looking!"

So for context: Chief King did approve of Alex and gave Cathy and Alex a mission to trick June and David into going to certain places. So Chief King setted June and David up without them realizing.

"At least you took a picture."

"Yeah."

Cathy and Alex walked back while holding hands to Alex's car which was a few blocks away. And honestly, their date was fun.
