The Only Choice (Trigun) fic

content: Vash is still getting used to having this new group member around. But Retha seems to be completely okay with being his tag along. Bringing some joy into his life. Building relationships, casual stuff, fluff and hugs.

It had only been a few weeks since Retha joined Vash on his long trek through this sandy planet. Her past a mystery to him as much as her wants and goals. But she had made it clear when he'd tried to leave her behind she wanted to go with him. Standing there in front of the old jeep Retha owned to have grabbed his bag and tossed it into the back. Vash had taken the time the previous night to explain that being with him was dangerous. Which Retha had listened to him to not argue or cut him off as he got all his fears out.

But now Vash was standing in front of Retha for her to have her arms crossed and staring at him with determination. Her words pointed yet warm. "Okay. I understand the risks, Vash. I took all that time since you talked to me praying and thinking over this. I weighed the pros and the cons and had Yeshuah help me sort the pile. So now I am making my choice. We stick together." Vash had already figured out that Retha took her faith in the Lord deadly serious. Even if she didn't openly talk about her faith. So Vash had to think before he spoke up. "Even if you get hurt or killed from whatever comes at me?"

Retha shook her head to wave a hand to dismiss such. "Whatever comes at us. Yeshuah, you, and me. The Lord drew me to your orbit for a reason, hon. I may never figure out what reasons or why. But when God whispers to me this deeply over something or someone, I have to listen and follow. So here I am. Ready to face this crazy world right next to you. Besides. All the reports on the Humanoid Typhoon are of a single guy that travels alone and mostly on foot. Not a dude traveling with a lady in a vehicle. Face it, Vash. I'm kidnapping you."

So Retha had all but whisked Vash off and away for them to head for he next town. She spent time helping out at local clinics and churches. Which meant Vash got to help out there as well. People that whispered about who he was got challenged really fast after a bit. "Why would an outlaw be helping in a church?" Or someone would state, "This good young man helped an injured man after he fell off his roof. Saved his leg and his life. No good soul like that could ever be a bad criminal." There was also the fact that Retha made a point of lingering around Vash to openly tell people good things about him. Saying how he was her 'found family' to tell a few stories about their recent adventures. Like how Vash helped her put on a puppet show for the local kids. Or the time they helped chase down a few spooked tomas to lead them back to their farm.

It had been quite a change of pace for Vash. Noting a month had already gone by for him to be surprised by Retha tapping on his shoulder. Drawing him out of his thoughts while sitting on a bench in town. His gaze going to her to see that Retha had a grin on her face. So Vash asked, "What's up?" Retha hummed a playful note to then show Vash what she was hiding behind her back. A slice of chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick with nuts on the top. "Tah dah! A local lady was having issues with her equipment. So I helped her fix it so the chocolate would melt properly. This one is for you. I already ate mine."

Vash smiled to that the treat and munch on it. Finding that there was swirls of caramel in the cheesecake part for him to hum in delight. "Oh wow. This is really good. I've never had cheesecake like this before." Retha chuckled to flop down next to Vash on the bench and stretch. Her arm soon going around Vash in a casual hug for Vash to blink a few times. Yet Retha just watched the birds in the sky to smile. "Best part of life is the little things. Thank you for sharing your journey with me Vash. I think I figured out why God had me join you." Vash thought on this to ask, "What might that reason be?" So Retha laughed to look to him and grin wide. "Because. Being with you makes me the happiest I've ever felt in my entire life. Wasn't that obvious?"

So let's go back to a recent commentary, "Your Blood Oath" in which was explained that the Apostle's Creed, ritually administered before the taking of Communion in Christian Churches -- both Catholic and Protestant -- is an Oath, followed by drinking "the blood" of the Communion wine.

Communion is a Blood Oath, albeit, there is no actual, factual blood present, unless you are Catholic and accept the Doctrine of Transubstantiation, which teaches that the wine in the Communion cup does magically transform into the actual blood of the man they call "Jesus".

Having caused a firestorm in the Christian Readership by observing this, I went on to observe that there is no good reason that the name of Yehoshua (transliterates phonetically as "Yeshuah") was changed to "Jesus" by the Church.

The name Yehoshua translates directly to "Joshua" in English. Why not translate it that way?

This becomes important when you consider the fondness of the Liars for Substitution Schemes -- what we call "Bait and Switch" Fraud. You are promised one thing, but given another, and we have seen this repeatedly in our investigations.

A corporation calling itself "The United States of America ---- Incorporated" substituting itself for our unincorporated Federation of States doing business as The United States of America?

The American State-of-State business organizations doing business as, for example, The State of New York, being replaced by the British Territorial business doing business as "the" State of New York.

Legal Persons existing in the International Jurisdiction of the Sea (e.g. Raymond John Smith) being substituted for a Lawful Person (e.g. Raymond John Smith) with the identical Proper Name, but existing in the International Land Jurisdiction.

King Henry the Eighth, the Catholic Overseer of the Church Commonwealth Trust Lands in England, being recognized as the Head of the Anglican Church, and then using the position to target Protestants with undisclosed private baptismal contracts used to seize upon the value of their labor?

I could go on.

Why wouldn't these yahoos substitute their Roman "Jesus" for the Hebrew "Yehoshua"?

This is, in turn, concerning for any Christian, because--- what if you are praying in the wrong name?

And, additionally, there is the issue of the importance of sound.

The Bible teaches that God created the Earth as we now know it by speaking it into existence -- by sound. It also teaches that we will know the returned Savior by his what? His voice. Not his face, but his voice.

So, when Christians are told to "pray in his name" isn't it vitally important that they (1) have the correct name, and (2) pronounce it correctly?

These and similar concerns began to surface for me over the course of approximately thirty years, and the results of my investigations and observations led, logically, to my decision to leave the incorporated Evangelical Lutheran Church and to repudiate its "baptism".

When you incorporate a Church you "unlawfully convert it" just as the honorable United States Military was silently converted into a Mercenary Force. Instead of a private religious organization, the Church becomes a for-profit commercial franchise instead.

An incorporated Church becomes a commercial corporation selling a product and services no less than your local Ford dealership, and suddenly, you are no longer worshiping in spirit and in truth, but are instead caught up in selling the social benefits and economic networking available through church membership, and selling "Jesus" as a product, sacraments as a service, and salvation as the end result.

Sit down and really think about your experience of Christian Churches in general -- not all, but most, have the cold, formal atmosphere of a car dealership showroom. There is something "not right" about them. Something fake.

And so there would be, if they are advertising one thing and selling commercialism -- Baal, Mammon, and Baphomet -- instead.

The Roman Jesus instead of Yehoshua.

The more devoted you become to seeking the Truth in all things, the more obvious the Lies become.

If you will not permit any known lie to pass your lips for a long enough time -- say, two to ten years, you will suddenly see the morass of lies in which you live, and having seen this, you will not be able to forget.

So, with my suspicions further aroused by the fact that the Roman Catholic Church claims authorship of the Bible and holds copyrights on their version of it --- authorship which means they created it as a work of art --- and not merely compiled it from ancient non-copyright eligible material, I stumbled on.

And I discovered the Baptismal Certificate racket and King Henry the VIII's double-crossing of all the Anglican Protestants, and I had already detected FDR's double-crossing of all the Municipal citizens of the United States with his "clearinghouse" certificates racket mentioned in his First Inaugural address.... so, a pattern is emerging.

Undisclosed contracts, substitutions, impersonations, certificates, undisclosed changes of jurisdiction and forms of law, citizenship obligations imposed on people....the use of Dog Latin disguised as "American Sign Language"....

These are the earmarks of Ancient Rome and more recently, the Holy Roman Empire, which was supposedly dissolved in the early 1800's -- for exactly this sort of fraud and wrong-doing and mismanagement.

Yet, it still appears to be going strong ---and smelling worse than ever.

By now, I am well and truly alarmed and looking for answers, and I find "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" --- outlining the program of a Secret Society bent on destroying souls and destroying mankind --- using the same basic ideas promoted in The Book of Isaiah as means of warfare, plus oddly echoing the Reformation Era Jesuit Oath.

Uff-da.

Did you know that there are Eastern and Western branches of the Romance Languages, and that Ancient Vulgar Latin (Western Romance) was spoken in Romania at the same time as Dacian (Eastern Romance), at the end of 8th century CE, at the time of the founding of the City of Rome?

Do you see the connection between Rome and Romania hidden in front of your face?

Would it surprise you to learn that no less than 26 Roman Emperors, including Constantine the Great, came from what we call Romania?

Would it surprise you to learn that Constantine's family also gave rise to the Flavian Emperors who ruled during the first century CE, including Titus, who destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D.?

Would it amaze you to know that the Dacians worshiped the Sphinx as "the Lion of God"?

Would the connection of the above inscription to proto-Hungarian make sense, if we observed that the Finno-Ugric languages are extremely ancient?

Look up a map of Finno-Ugric language distribution today.

And did you know that the Byzantine Empire once included most of Southern Italy?

Would it amaze you to know that AFTER his supposed Christian conversion, the Emperor Constantine encouraged and enforced an ancestor worship cult honoring his Flavian ancestors?

And also caused his Victory Arch near the Coliseum to be adorned with figures of Dacian Priests after his supposed conversion?

Just look up pictures of Constantine's Victory Arch in Rome to see for yourself. There they are: Dacian High Priests wearing their typical odd hats.

Would you believe that much of what is recounted about "Jesus" in the New Testament is drawn from the Roman historian Josephus? And the only reason we don't see this, is that we don't read Josephus?

There is a theory that "Christianity" -- the religion of "the Anointed One" -- a priest of Baal, began as a Roman propaganda effort. This theory is summarized in a book, "Caesar's Messiah" by Joseph Atwill and is known in scholarly circles as the "Flavian Origins Theory".

The same Flavian ancestors of Constantine whose worship he demanded after his conversion to Christianity?

Here's a succinct little teaser for the actual historical context of the havoc in Judea for two hundred years before and a hundred years after "Jesus":

"During the historical period surrounding the alleged life and times of the biblical Jesus, Judea was (in reality) at the epicenter of an epic, violent conflict between the Roman Empire and the adherents of a virulently radical form of messianic Judaism. The roots of the conflict date back earlier, to the age when the zealous Maccabees (also known as Hasmoneans) rebelled against the Seleucids (the remnants of Alexander the Great’s Hellenistic empire) and achieved an uneasy independence in 164 BCE. In 63 BCE, the Romans invaded Judea, and the Maccabees became Roman clients.

A family of foreigners from Edom (in Arabia) eventually usurped the role of the Maccabees as the Romans’ clients and tax farmers in Judea. The rise of this Herodian regime began when Antipater, born as an Edomite nobleman whose family had allegedly converted to Judaism, insinuated himself into Maccabean politics while simultaneously currying favor with the Romans. Antipater was appointed Roman Procurator of Judea under Julius Caesar (47 BCE), and his son Herod became the governor of Galilee, while the Hasmoneans continued to hold the office of high priest."

Imagine that?

Just for starters, many generations of Christians have been taught that "the Jews killed Christ".

It turns out that it was Edomite proxy rulers, plus the Roman Governors, who did all the crucifying.

Now, why isn't that taught in every Sunday School throughout the land?

Bait and Switch: Herod was a Jew-in-name-only, similar to what I could say about some Republicans-in-name-only today.

And the game, then and now, is deceit.

A religion of peace and compassion, turning the other cheek and giving unto Caesar would come in very handy for Roman rulers sick of dealing with impassioned Jews and Gentiles alike.

Perhaps our love of "Christianity" even if it is yet another gigantic fraud, and even if it has never resulted in peace and compassion in fact, and even if it has been commercialized beyond recognition, is rooted in our own individual need for peace and compassion.

"My peace I leave to you...."

The message of Yehoshua has come through a sewer pipe, polluted and dirtied, but somehow the spirit of it has come through nonetheless--- a result that was no doubt unexpected to the Romans, but, what the hey? They capitalized on it just the same.

It may seem strange that I, someone who loves Yehoshua, yet realizes the Sting, would be telling you all this today -- because religion seems to have little to do with the history of this country and all the venal things that have happened in its misadministration....but, as I told you long ago, law comes from religion.

So it is not a small issue. If your religion is polluted with deceit and with politics and money, then so is your law.

This past week, Archbishop Carlos Maria Vigano celebrated his last Mass as a priest of the Roman Catholic Church.

He was of retirement age, but was most likely pushed out for his suggestion last August that Pope Francis resign, and such outspoken questions as "Is the Pope Catholic?"

As we have seen and witnessed, "Pope" Francis does not carry the sacred ministerial office -- that was carried by Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI to the grave -- so it is a fair question.

It compliments in an odd way the ancient question of -- was "Jesus" a Jew, or did he convert at the end of his life to the Samaritan religion and become a priest of Baal, as a result of being "anointed" by Mary Magdalene?

As Archbishop Bishop Vigano performed his last Mass, he fainted.

While in this state of semi-consciousness, the Archangel Michael reportedly appeared to him and revealed that soon, people in Europe and Asia (but not The United States) will see a "vision" of Jesus and God the Father in the sky.

The cynics among us take this as confirmation that Project Blue Beam will be deployed.

There's a reason that only people in Europe and Asia will see this display. It's being projected from The United States and the skies above Europe and Asia are the projection screen.

Anyway, I plod onward, dear hearts, and prefer to keep my mind and heart centered on the truth that I can and do know -- and additionally, I know that many faithful priests and lay members of the Roman Catholic Church are suffering because they have stood against the politicization of their faith.

They are being denied support, including retirement pensions and health care, and being labeled "apostate" for not going along with abortion and homosexual "unions" and all the rest of doctrinal changes embraced by the non-ministerial "Pope" Francis.

Before he left office, Archbishop Vigano started an organization to help these Catholic traditionalists (sometimes mislabeled "conservatives") to survive this persecution.

This is the foretold persecution of the Church-- not coming from outside the Church, but from inside the Church.

This is coming from yet another Bait and Switch -- from a man who is being called "Pope" while only performing the duties of the now-dissolved Office of the Roman Pontiff, not the sacred and ministerial Offices of the Pope.

This should be perfectly obvious to any Catholic, and even obvious to Protestants, like my own former-brethren, the Lutherans.

There has been no action to transfer the "ministerial office" from Benedict XVI to Pope Francis; Benedict XVI retained the ministerial office and so far as anyone knows, took it to his grave, so that only the duties Benedict XVI abdicated -- the duties of the dissolved Office of the Roman Pontiff, remain.

To be fair, there may be no way provided in Canon Law for the transfer of the retained ministerial office of a Pope: I haven't found any reference in Canon Law to cover such a circumstance.

I have sympathy for the suffering Catholic Traditionalists, particularly those who gave up sex and family life and forsook many other worldly pleasures to work like dogs in many vocations, only to be persecuted and left without material support in their old age.

It reeks of the self-interested revenge a commercial corporation would inflict and a CEO run amok: "Oh, they don't like my latest directive? Fire them! Force them to retire! Deny their pension benefits! No health care for them!"

Let me suggest, from my position as a Witness to all this, that the appropriate response is to follow up Archbishop Vigano's question, "Is the Pope Catholic?" with more pointed questions.

"Is the Pope occupying the sacred office of Papal ministry? If so, how did he inherit it from Pope Benedict XVI, who retained his ministerial office? Are we being tricked by the Antichrist? And allowing the persecution of the actual Church from enemy forces inside the Church?"

And then follow that up with a donation to Vigano's relief organization, because whether you believe the cover story of Christianity or not, we can still hold onto the spirit that survived, bloodied and battered as it may be.

We can still show compassion to those who have been betrayed and who are suffering for their faith.

Kadish (do aramaico קדיש "sagrado") é a prece especial dita regularmente nas rezas cotidianas e em enterros em memória aos entes falecidos, onde se dá ênfase à glorificação e santificação do nome de Deus. Geralmente é realizado pelos filhos ou parentes próximos do falecido.

Existem 4 tipos de Kadish.

1. Kadish Titkabal, mais longo e que pede aos Céus para que a nossa oração seja aceita junto às de todo o povo judeu. 2. Há também o Kadish pequeno, recitado antes das orações Minchá e Arvit, o que se diz antes do Barechú pelo Chazan, um Kadish após a leitura da Torá 3. Outro ainda recitado após o estudo da Torá, o Kadish de Rabanan. 4. O Kadish dos enlutados chama-se Kadish Yatom.

O Kadish é uma oração de exaltação Divina com várias especificidades e nada tem a ver com tristeza e luto, ainda que recitado nestas ocasiões. A recitação do Kadish também auxilia sabermos em que parte está a reza, pois cada parte tem o seu Kadish especial.

Dedicado ao meu pai Fernando Borges que no dia 24.12.2023 faria 83, mas às 2:20 da madrugada, veio a falecer em decorrência de um Acidente Vascular Cerebral( AVC) e Rebaixamento do Nível de Consciência ou R.N.C.

Atenção:

O kadish é conhecido pelos judeus como ‘oração dos mortos’, mas é uma declaração de fé, oração de louvor a Deus e confiança em Deus.

Oração:

"Que o Seu grande Nome seja exaltado e santificado no mundo que Ele criou conforme Sua vontade. Que Seu reinado durante nossas vidas e nossos dias e durante a vida de toda a Casa de Israel, rapidamente e em breve.

Abençoado, louvado, glorificado, exaltado, enaltecido, honrado, elevado e elogiado seja o nome do Todo-Poderoso, pois dele emanam todas as bênçãos e louvores. Nosso guia e o que nos conforta, redentor por toda a eternidade.

Meu pai não era Judeu, nem tão pouco nossa família, então qual a razão de se buscar o Kadish?

Por ser uma oração ou declaração de fé,de louvor a Deus e confiança em Deus.

É Natal!

Meu pai nas poucas vezes que foi lembrado por presentes materiais, estes presentes não significavam opulência, soberba, luxo ou riqueza material, eram presentes simples, humildes, pois de simplicidade, discrição e humildade é a vida!

O maior e melhor presente é ter Deus presente nas nossas vidas todos os dias do ano!

Mas quanto ao Natal?

O Natal é tempo de nascimento e renascimento, construção e reconstrução ou renovação de nossa fé em Deus!

Portanto Deus é vida, alegria, júbilo, momento de nos alegrarmos pelo nascimento do nosso Salvador, do Nosso Senhor!

Meu pai quando recebia os presentes materiais por vezes lamentava ter nascido numa data que só lhe dava a possibilidade ou oportunidade de receber um único presente; o de aniversário e o de Natal combinados, mas se esquecia que havia um terceiro presente: o nascimento de Jesus, nosso Salvador ou Yeshua, cujo significado é Salvar ou Yeshuah - Salvação ou Yeshua Hamashia - Jesus Cristo, ou o Messias ou Yeoshua - o Eterno Salva ou Yeoshua - nome traduzido para o português como Josué.

O nome é secundário,o que realmente importa é o Verbo, e o Verbo se fez carne e Deus se tornou presente em sua, nossas vida(s) e seu, nossos coração, corações!

Português de Vinhais, Trás os-Montes*

Dois dos pratos típicos da região são: A Feijoada à Transmontana feita com feijão vermelho, carne de porco ou bovina, chouriço, tomate, cenoura e acelga, geralmente acompanhado de arroz seco.

Trata-se de um prato de coração, um dos chamados pratos de inverno, que deu aos camponeses transmontanos a energia de que necessitavam para enfrentar com sucesso a paisagem agreste e ondulante transmontana.

Tem uma multiplicidade de sabores e texturas diferentes.

As classes superiores fizeram-no mais com vitela, as classes inferiores com carne de porco.

Eram as duas carnes mais comuns na dieta básica da época.

Comer vitela e galinha todos os dias era um privilégio das classes altas.

E os cuscos que foi introduzido na gastronomia transmontana há vários séculos por influência muçulmana ou judaica, tal como o cuscuz, comida muito popular entre muçulmanos e judeus.

São produzidos como uma massa de farinha de trigo, que antigamente vinha para substituir o arroz ou a massa.

A carola, como se chamam os cuscos cozidos a vapor, é comido ao pequeno-almoço ou ao lanche, sozinho ou com açúcar e mel.

Hoje, tornaram-se um produto gourmet utilizado por muitos chefes de cozinha. Secos, são cozinhados de forma semelhante ao arroz e combinados com produtos locais tais como enchidos, cogumelos, legumes ou carnes.

Também são preparados doces, com leite e canela, formando um prato semelhante ao arroz-doce.

Qual a razão de falar de comida neste contexto de fé e exaltação a Deus e homenagem ao meu pai?

Meu pai sempre adorou comer! O alimento para ele tinha um significado especial, aliás para toda nossa família até hoje.

Alimento para fé, para comunhão, alimento da primeira e última ceia de Yeshua ou Jesus!

Alimento e bebida. Meu pai adorava um bom vinho. Ele vinha de Vinhais!

Ainda me lembro que sentavamos na casa de pedra, casa dos meus avós portugueses,cheia de frestas, num frio cortante,dilacerante, todos juntos em torno de uma mesa com uma toalha espessa, colocávamos por cima das nossas pernas, meu avô, avó, pai, mãe e eu,no meio da sala de jantar, no meio da mesa redonda, por debaixo da toalha, um braseiro, nos aqueciamos os pés, as mãos e as pernas, e já servida encima da toalha da mesa, uma sopa de Caldo Verde, vinho, pão de Alfarroba ou de Azeite ou Mafra ou Broa ou Alentejano junto com os enchidos ou embutidos: Alheiras,Chouriço,Butelo,nos aguardavamos, mas antes de tudo,oravamos por Deus em agradecimento a ceia Santa e Abençoada por Ele, deitavamos ou vertiamos o vinho tinto no final da ceia no prato e o bebiamos ali mesmo, todos em congraçamento e júbilo!

Vinhais foi, primitivamente, um castro de povoamento galaico, transformado pelos romanos em castro galaico-romano, com a sua fortaleza (ópido). Certamente, os suevos ou os visigodos cercaram a localidade de muralhas e, com a expulsão dos muçulmanos, Vinhais ficou arrasada, tendo sido repovoada na época da dominação dos reis de Castela e Leão (D. Sancho II e D. Afonso VI).

Este repovoamento foi continuado pelos primeiros reis portugueses, nomeadamente com D. Afonso Henriques, D. Sancho I (O Povoador), D. Afonso II e D. Sancho II.

A presença dos judeus na região transmontana, mais concretamente no concelho de Vinhais, desde a instalação das primeiras judiarias em Portugal, no início da formação da nacionalidade portuguesa, até ao século XX, é constante, até mesmo quando se tentam resgatar os marranos ou Judeus de Trás-os-Montes, libertando-se do medo de se assumir como judeus praticantes.

A grande comunidade marrana em Vinhais é, também, confirmada pelos cerca de 500 locais que foram apresentados perante a Santa Inquisição, entre 1500 e 1792, acusados de práticas de judaísmo, conforme consta dos respetivos processos existentes na Torre do Tombo.

O próprio cemitério em torno da histórica e interessante igreja de São Facundo – Monumento classificado IIP, Dec. N.º 95/78, Dr. 210, de 12 de setembro de 1978 –, em Vinhais, reforça a importância que este território teve para os judeus pois, conforme se pode ler em alguns processos, era desejo de muitos judeus irem a enterrar naquele espaço por ali existir “um sardão cuja sombra sagrada beijava o solo”.

Um trabalho, livro intitulado: Vinhais - Judeus, marranos e Inquisição, por Jorge Ferreira que tem vindo a ser desenvolvido pelo escritor há alguns anos e que teve por base alguns dos 419 processos judaicos, que estão no arquivo nacional da Torre do Tombo.

Jorge Ferreira diz ter ficado surpreendido com a quantidade de pessoas que foram condenadas à morte.

Then of course, in the New Testament, Jesus is referred to as Yeshuah, which is how His name would've been pronounced by his mother and his family and everyone who knew Him when He was walking upon the earth. And so, now that we’re in the New Testament, let’s talk about second Timothy for second, because we see something really fascinating in today's reading, that's kind of mind blowing because we never think about it. So, this New Testament, that begins with the gospel of Matthew and ends with the book of Revelation, these writings weren't just dropped out of the sky in a, in a bound gilded book that said New Testament on the front of it. And you know, the apostles didn’t just find this left in the upper room in a corner somewhere and…and realize oh well, here's what we need to believe and here's what we need to do, right. So, like Timothy, for example, he…he couldn't of gotten the first letter that Paul sent him known as first Timothy and read and thought, you know what, I need to cross reference that with second Timothy, to see if it corresponds, because he hadn't gotten the second letter from Paul yet, the one that we’re reading now. So, he didn't have it to base any doctrine or have any encouragement or any reminders of things that he needed to pay attention to. Right, Paul's didn’t sit down and write all of his letters, all at one time, all from one place and then distribute them around so that they all landed at the same time. And even if he had done that, you know like, if he wrote a letter at the same time to the Galatians as he did to the Ephesians and he sent them out, well, the church at Galatia doesn't know what the letter to the Ephesians says, and vice versa. So, it's not all part of the New Testament at this point. And the 27 books of the New Testament that we have as the New Testament, although that had kinda been settled and these were the books that had been used, this wasn’t like affirmed by the church at large until like, the late fourth…fourth century and there were other things being written and other things being said along the way. And you know, that's where this term Gnosticism comes in. But not everything was Gnostic, some things were just newer. Some things just had incongruencies and most scholars would agree. You know, like the books and letters that we have in the New Testament, these are the oldest writings. So, there's this period that is centuries. So like if Jesus died in…in the 30s, and I don't mean like the 1830s or 1730s. I mean, like the 0030, like the 30s, then there is this period of development where God begins to reveal the New Testament through His people. And like in the case of Paul's letters, they’re written one at a time, to different people, in different places, for different reasons, but even Paul suggests, you know, to share these things, pass them around. And so, that's what began to happen, the letters began to be copied and passed around. So, if you're in Ephesus and you have letters from Paul that were written to the Ephesians, the church at Ephesus, well than you may eventually get a copy of letters written to the Galatians, and you may share copies and then copies of letters from Philippi come in. And these letters begin to be shared around and they begin to be read in the churches and then be used for instruction and doctrine in the churches. And they become very, very valuable, irreplaceable to the common life of faith that these churches share. But there was a point in this story were nothing was written yet. So, if we were to consider the Book of Acts, which was penned by Luke, by the author of the Gospel of Luke. So, Luke and Acts are this two-volume set and Acts begins to show us all of the things that happened in the development of the church. These things all had to happen before they could be written down, before an accounting of those happenings could be written down.
