AHAHA… overall i loved the chapter i am so scared abt meeting the Consequences re: nia BUT if i solely talk abt aerin.. eehee.. twirls my hair… so many thoughts.

i’m like sooooo. he’s so funny. and fascinating like wdym he was unsure of what he was doing with nia and trying to pretend she wasn’t a person… like man. he rly started feeling guilt after meeting mc but he was also at a point of no return so he just kept going like. bestie u could’ve stopped. but i love it i love bitches who think the only way out is through in a destructive way

i do think he was crazy for THIS

like what we know of him so far is he’s trying to figure out who he is now without the shadow court and without being a prince and everything like!! he’s having an identity crisis… and all he has to go off of is the fact that mc & nia’s given him a chance to redeem himself… he’s like oh i should be heroic right. that will make mc like me again and show them i’m capable of change right….

this budding slow burn second chance romance is so sweet though 🥹 like i hope aerin can fit in and regain the rest of the gang’s trust over time cause he meshes so well with his snark and sarcasm now that he’s not putting up a Lie(tm) but he’s still so unsure of his identity and how he fits like… choosing to be good and kind even if no1 believes or trusts his intentions… wah..

ALSO omg. the heroism notes. how he doesn’t consider himself a hero wrt the way he talks abt mc’s type and last chapter when he was all sarcastic abt mc and friends having a heart to heart abt heroes having feelings… like does he only see himself as a villain… he’s willing to give Good Guyism an honest attempt but he keeps Separating himself www… i’m so curious how next chapter will play out w/ the shadow court like !!! surely aerin will have many thoughts and involvement!!! i know we just got this chapter but can it be next week ALREADY
