i am so obsessed with how like. taken as read the ot3 are at this point. like on the one hand it feels like they've been building up to this for ages but on the other hand it kind of feels like i blinked and we skipped right past some Major Turning Point where everything got spelled out and we're just already in firmly Established Relationship-land. obviously tarvek is too well-protected for anyone to assassinate openly, look how angry his boyfriend and girlfriend are at the idea of anyone threatening him. at this point i'm half-convinced agatha's just going to refer to her boyfriends in passing to someone else and no one's even going to comment on it until van finds out twenty pages later and immediately starts making everyone pay up

The member of the Agency who's gonna get transferred to the PM will probably be Tanizaki, or Yosano. I know there was that whole deal Mori and Fukuzawa made but there's no reason for Mori to keep it, and Yosano being forced to work with the man who caused her trauma would be a very interesting arc. That said it's also been noted multiple times Tanizaki would make a good assassin and Asagiri flat out said he's the member of the ADA closest to evil, sooo-

Gin Akutagawa is going to get Rashoumon if Akutagawa is actually dead. I don't know if he is even after the vampirism but I think he should be, because it would finally give some stakes to this series bc no one has died before and it would make Fyodor as a threat matter. Anyway I think it would make sense if Gin were to get it, especially considering with Tachihara's current unknown state that's another reason to get her more involved with the plot.

Fyodor's not actually dead. There's no way he's been built up over the past 2/3 arcs to die like THAT.

Aya has an ability. What it is, I'm not sure, I know her irl author's most famous work is Nagareru, which I have not read, so maybe something to do with that?

Also, Higuchi is going to become important soon. Asagiri has confirmed she has an ability - I'm betting we're going to find out what it is soon. Especially if Akutagawa is actually dead, which again I think he is because otherwise all the buildup was wasted, I think she's gonna get an arc of her own soon.

Dazai is going to be forced to develop and it won't be pretty. I've seen notes that he's kinda regressing back into his 'Demon Prodigy mindset' from the healthier one he developed with the ADA in the earlier arcs, before Mori released Q, in order to protect himself and the ADA from threats like Fyodor - so he's been more willing to sacrifice people or colder with his plans. In order to get out of that spiral something is going to need to snap him out of it.

Oh speaking of that - Dazai is either the son or grandson of the Old Boss of the Port Mafia from before Mori took over. Explains why he was implied to have known the old boss, and why his ability is basically an anti-ability, if he was constantly around someone so unstable and had to protect himself.

The Order of the Clocktower are going to become new antagonists with Agatha Christie also playing a role. We already know she exists in the BSD verse and the potential for a character based on her as a villain is insane. I'm also thinking she could potentially be the actual 5th member of the Decay of Angels, considering Sigma has existed for all of 3 years and spent a lot of that time actively being human trafficked, yet the organization was clearly prominent for years before that.

Since i started actively reading again in 2020 i’ve read two (2) books with zero (0) queer rep in them and like. The characters are just so boring. Fascinating plot and worldbuilding, but i just keep thinking of how much better they would be if there was literally any queer rep at all. Even just like a side/background character

honestly, i just couldn't get these out of my mind so here i am trying to jotted it down. how i imagine the #polin children look like:

agatha eloise bridgerton: she has bridgerton chestnut hair with a hint of red undertone and also penelope's eyes (either canonly brown or nicola's light blue, i'm fine). that's why colin is very hard to say no to her (and honestly she's a daddy's girl as well). she's a bit tan because she likes being outside and active. summer is her favourite season. has freckles here and there but also tall like her father. she's also in possession of the bridgerton competitive streaks. the only coffee drinker amongst the children and she takes it black. lives up to her namesake; she's clever (almost cunning), bold and fierce, but also a bit bossy. if she lives in modern era, she would make a wicked attorney because she's so great at debating, defending, and persuasion.

thomas edmund bridgerton: a (physically) clone of colin with penelope's shy personality. he's a bit reserved, awkward, but so kind. a man with big heart, big brain, and honestly big appetite too (he's colin's spawn, what would you expect lol). he's a giver but sharing foods will be another case, your honour. decent at sports but a mean fencer and swimmer just like his old man. has a soft spots for animals and sweets. spring is his favourite season. he also gets obsessed with plants like his uncle philip, but just because he's curious which ones are edible, healer, nor poisonous. he keeps a detailed journal about them and also his secret recipes (he likes to experiment, foods or plants). if he lives in modern era, i think he would found his purpose in pharmacology.

jane felicity bridgerton: a clone of penelope (physically) except for her eyes. they resembles colin's (either canonly emerald or newts' blue, i don't mind). she's got a curious mind in nature (honestly all polin's children have that) and likes to observe her surroundings. the type who enjoys the shows from the sideline but when she says something, it'll be the right things to add (like some wisdom/neutral logic answer/missing details/the most clever banter). she's tiny but eventually grows to 163 cm (meanwhile agatha would make up to 168-172 cm) in height. lives up to her namesake (jane austen obv) as she follows her parents' path to writing world. fall is her favourite season. if she lives in modern era, she would be that famous novelist who writes any genre (but well known because of her mystery-romance) with detailed description of beautiful-cities-around-the-world-as-the-background novel.

george archibald bridgerton: say hello to the merry rake bridgerton. the third generation of bridgerton devil-may-care charmer after edmund bridgerton i and his father ofc. he's a redhead with hazel (a mix of pen's chocolate and colin's emerald) eyes. he's very free-spirited, creative, and active (at the level that he couldn't stay still for a millisecond). the mastermind behind all mischievous tricks and troubles when all bridgertons/featheringtons clan gather. he's good at everything but that also kinda makes him feel lost. nothing sparks his heart strongly or interested him to dive deeper. doesn't have favourite season 'cause he's fine with anything. if he lives in modern era, he definitely would be the most famous polin's kid with big numbers of followers/subscribers in his social media accounts, thanks to his natural charms and fun but also randomly creative yet original contents.
