Ainosuke’s theory

Yes, my hyperfixation on Anime Ainosuke is still going strong. At this point, this fictional character is my special interest.

Anyways, what if the love hug had started out as an affectionate way of showing Tadashi that he loves him. And even though he doesn’t fully understand love, due to trauma, he is ready to learn how to healthy give and take this new form of love. Because Adam loved Tadashi that much. But of course, shit went down.

After Ainosuke’s board burned in high school + Tadashi’s comment, he felt this wave of betrayal. The boy who save him from misery was soon gone, replaced by cold and cunning man. Ainosuke told himself that his friend no longer loved or even cared for him. Tadashi now just  there to serve and do his bidding. Hence he doesn’t refer to Tadashi by his name, but simply puppy or dog. Hence the reason of his anger with Tadashi in episode 8, when Tadashi skate without permission. To Adam, Tadashi had lost his freedom when said that he had no opinion. 

Ainosuke did mourn the death of their relationship when he was young. With the addition of childhood abuse, it severed as ammunition for his Sk8 mask. The mask being his persona of overbearing horny in Crazy Rock. This mask prevents anyone from getting too close to him, because who wants to be close to a pervert?  

The love hug is now a bitter reminder of Tadashi’s betrayal. Adam now uses it as a weapon against anyone who does see his pain behind the mask. He can’t allow anyone close to him, because they would then have the ability to hurt him, but he’s hurting because he closes everyone off. This dilemma is of course pains Adam, but he is so convinced that dropping the mask will bring on more pain, so he suffers in silence, masking with horny.

Because all of this is a cry of loneliness, a cry to get the boy who taught him how to skate.

Could I request Cherry, Adam, and Takeshi with a painter s/o?

Cherry

Their careers are very similar, Karou with his calligraphy and them with their painting.

They probably met when they were hosted at the same show on classical Japanese artforms.

As an artist himself he has a deeper appreciation for their technique with their brush strokes and fine detail work. It’s so delicate and perfect. He could watch them paint for hours.

Adam

Likely met at a charity or fundraising gala at a gallery they were showcased in and Ainosuke took a liking to their work.

Not knowing they were the artist, he provided his critics and was unanimously shut down by them. Decimated even by their words.

They told him that a bureaucrat like him could not possibly understand the passion of art like this, and since then Ainosuke has been obsessed with them and their passion.

Tadashi

He evens their expressiveness and creativity.

They get to be so free. Both on and off the canvas. Artist are known for being a little eccentric, so they can get away with things he would never dream of being so bold about.

Takeshi is actually a fairly skilled painter, but his art has no life to it. He can ‘play the notes, but not make the music’ as it were. So he just leaves the art in their relationship to them.

I just had a thought

TadaAi are the original traumatized ones

Several reasons, some of which were uncontrollable for them, why their relationship fell apart. I made this account trying to figure out how and why that is. There’s the fact that their environment wasn’t safe to miscommunication/lack of awareness to the actions that they either took to not realizing (or realizing too late) that they’re attracted to each other.

MatchaBlossom are the original (lover) victims 

They were around the same age when shit went down for TadAi, so of course they’re the ones who are most affected. I have to post something about them soon on how their role affects the 2 other relationships. 

Regna are the generational lovers curse. 

They have elements of TadaAi. But because they’re in a healthier environment, they’re able to express their emotions to each other, whereas the couples above couldn’t.
