Megatron: Ah yes. My beloved third in command.

Jawbreaker: That was your third in command?

Megatron: yes, indeed, Soundwave is. I was quite fond of his cute little tape deck mode, but I hardly mind how he’s altered his frame a bit, so he can fly easier. Used to struggle with his anti-gravity, so he upgraded a little. It’s not a half bad look.

Jawbreaker: Oh, so he got it wrong the first time?

Megatron: Hardly, little spark.

Megatron: He was always a tape deck of sorts, and his Earth alt is still a form he uses. He just took on some flier parts to help him. There was never a sense of wrongness.

Jawbreaker: Oh.

Megatron: Though, admittedly, he’s a little more intimidating now. Back then he was cuter. Cuter yet still, in the earliest days I first met him.

Jawbreaker: So he changed, just because he felt like it?

Megatron: Yes, in a way.

Megatron: Regardless, Soundwave is my third in command, and my amica. And those shots there are what he originally looked like when we first came to Earth.

They have to make up a canon Cybertronian phrase for human/Transformer soulmates.

We have Conjunx Endura for regular Transformers spouses, Amica Endura for a long term best friend, we need human soulmate!

Just because it’s so mysterious, I mean why does it happen? How does it happen? And it’s obviously special, neither society can deny it for long, the two individuals can’t be disregarded forever.

Charlie/Bee, Noah/Mirage and whoever comes next deserve this acknowledgment by Hasbro or IDW.

Speaking about how the line between friendship and intimate relationship is blurred to me... Here come spicy Amica activities.

We don't know much about Amica Endura, sadly. Even the concept of Conjunx Endura remains not very detailed. The franchise is rather reluctant when it comes to romance. That's understandable and better than pushing another family-friendly heteronormative narrative. But I love space opera for Weird Alien social structures and types of relationship. And I'm here for robot fucking. So, what about Cybertronians having some traditions and beliefs surrounding the Amica bonding? What if close physical contact is expected naturally, hugging, kissing and going all sensual (buffing, massage, minor repairs) are socially and morally acceptable? And interfacing (including valve penetration, oral, hardwire connection and sparkplay) is hugely frowned upon. Like, why do you wanna stick it in your Amica? Go get a junxie. Or pick up someone who's not your sacred bondmate. Maybe the Amica bond is viewed in a slightly spiritual way? I was thinking about the tradition of Adelphopoiesis in Orthodox Christianity. Literally same-sex marriage for the love of God. Proclaimed chaste, but the hell we know all those brothers in Christ were banging each other in monasteries. So, what if Amicas being sacredly non-sexual is so deep in the Cybertronian culture that it's not even analysed nowadays? It's just WRONG to fuck your bondmate. Well, it was supposed to be a post about Drift and Rodimus being horny Amicas, but I kinda got lost in explaining the shit. More explicit stuff coming soon.

G3 anybody? I mean, who doesn’t want to see Elita, Thunderhowl, Nautica, Nightbeat, Hot Rod, Ratchet, Sideswipe II, Glyph, Lifeline, Bulkhead, Kup, and Clobber working together.

Also for those who are wondering why Nightbeat is over on that side it’s because he was a shadowplayed sleeper agent for Jhiaxus in IDW1, poor guy. Retelling this story if he already had a relationship with Nautica’s Amica Endura polycule and have her and Hot Rod work together to free him would be a real soul wrencher.

Seriously though we are quite tempted to work this plot into our ttrpg just to have something different from our fanfic, keep the brain fresh. Would give Jhiaxus different minions though and would have to think about who they is a minion to, ha. This aside the Legacy Jhiaxus toy is- super impressive! Really love the design and how they work mechanically.

Just as I promised: Horny Amicas Rodimus and Drift.

There's nothing new: Drift is a firm believer in the sanctity of Amica Endura. So, yes hugging, yes kissing, but Primus forbid he desecrates his and Rodimus' blessed friendship.

They should be fine with it. Drift has Ratchet as his Conjunx, and Rodimus is free to hook up with anyone or also find a long-term partner. Though it's not easy to focus on finding one when his sexy spiritual friend is around again. And they're working on rebuilding their bond: training, talking, cuddling.

More than once, Drift's found them both heating up and laughing it off. Yeah, it happened before, but after what happened to their bond, it feels different. More deep, more sharp. Drift feels it in his friend's aura emanations, his chakras pulsing with affection and desire. But they just can't. Not because of Ratchet. Ratchet, along with his "too old for this shit, just have fun" attitude, is fine with Drift sleeping with other people. He'd be happier if Drift stopped blueballing his Amica. Just for the sake of tossing all this obsolete religious nonsense off. 

But again, Drift can't. Even when he has Rodimus under him again after their training session, that turned into showering together, then into helping each other with paintjob, then just cuddling. Rodimus tried to start a lazy tickle-fight, but Drift soothed him with a gentle kiss.

And there they are. Both revved up and pressed into each other. Rodimus' soft chuckles sounding more like needy sighs, and all his internal systems rumbling. "We're not interfacing. Should we stop?" Drift asks, concerned. 

"No, we aren't. Just stay". They're making out again, Drift feels them both tensing more and more. Maybe Primus was wrong once when he created his Amica so tempting. Speaking of... Sweet Primus, how hard Drift will ride Ratchet after this. If he makes it now, what's becoming more and more unlikely.

Rodimus is shaking now, kissing his neck. When his panel snaps, Drift doesn't stop him. He catches Rodimus' own hand, guiding it between them. They're not interfacing. It's still not, even with Rodimus' spike dripping with pinkish slick between them. And with Drift's uncovered valve massaged with his own fingers. 

They're not touching each other more than they used to. Rodimus tries not to overstep and not soil his dear Amica with his fluids. He's not prepared when said Amica stands up, kneeling over him in overload, and gushes of lubricant are hitting Rodimus' plating only to make him spill harder into his own fist. 

Hell yeah, it's over and they're good. They didn't interface.

At least until Drift tells Ratchet. Who says that, from the standpoint of modern medicine, they interfaced. And Drift is a dumbass, but it's fine.
