“How… irritating” she said her annoyance overtaking her entire mood and body language. Being forced to be on stage for people SHE didn’t nor about NOR care about.

Why must you make her suffer like this? She loves you, with all her being. But why are you airing her out to the world.. those ‘viewers’ of yours.

And that’s another thing. How do they get to watch you? You shouldn’t make yourself a fool for such unworthy humans. Have they even offered you a thing?

….you’d allow them your gaze for a mere 20 credits? (Money) either your benevolence shines brighter, or it’s blinding you.

“Chat what do we think of Acheron? I fuckin’ love this woman, she’s SOOO fuckin’ helpful for grinding and destroying the enemies… white bar health… yeah cause that’s what it’s called…please don’t clip that…”

Acheron could feel herself blushing, so she quickly performs her idle animation, leaning against her sword trying to hide the blush and smile slowly forming on her face.

Instantly her giddiness is sucked away and locked in a coffin as utter annoyance and disdain grips her with an iron fist “Storm's on the horizon, heading towards you”

“That was perfectly fucking timed… did that sound different to anyone else?” Despite acherons slip up, that hatefulness holds her tighter, refusing to let go.

In short, She loves you-she’s OBSESSED with you. But she WILL kill these ‘viewers’ if they stary your attention away from her one more time.

Jingliu

“What makes THEM so deserving of your gaze?”

Jingliu is similar to Acheron, but tripled. Unlike Acheron, she doesn’t bother to hide her hatred for those viewers.

Chat: Yo (Streamer Name) you should-

Jingliu: Your Ready for death.

She says it like a statement and not a question. She hates these creatures who take your gaze off of her, she hates how a measly 5 credits is enough to get your attention.

Your benevolence is your best quality, but also the one that’s easily manipulated, which simply makes her despise the fact that you’re TOO kind.

Jingliu hates the fact that your a streamer more then her not being able to ‘cut the stars’ with her sword. Why must you test her loyalty like this?

Is this even a test or a punishment for her crimes? Either way, this is too cruel. Being forced in the sidelines for a bunch of people who don’t offer you anything of value.

Is her crit damage/rate not good enough for you? Are her stellar jades not of the highest quality? Perhaps her blade needs more… BLOODSHED.

Unlike Acheron, jingliu would VERY MUCH commit crimes to gain your attention. Like breaking the fourth wall, taking an enemies or allies turn to attack, KILLING her allies so that your attention would be on her completely.

In short, she’s a much more blunt and unrestrained Acheron.

Aventurine

“Such Troublesome detractors…”

Out of everyone in the game, he’s definitely the most laid back about your occupation. Mostly due to his luck.

Course he’s annoyed that some no-named randoms are taking the attention from his god off of him for seconds, but it’s really nothing.

It’s extremely lucky that the characters haven’t killed him out of jealousy (see what I did there?) This fuckin’ Avgin gets the most attention thanks to his kit and luck.

Aventurine: Eyes on me~

Y/n: Ooo~ yes sir~

Aventurine has a UNIVERSAL shit-eating grin while others are glaring death incarcerated soul-sucking daggers into him.

Aventurine would probably join in on the thanks if a viewer sends you money/bits/cheers n’ shit.

Not much to really say here, he’s just laid back to the whole thing.

Dr. Veritas Ratio

Dr. Raito fuckin growls anytime everytime you boot up the game, cause he knows 99.9% of the time your going to be joined by those brainless viewers.

He’s completely baffled as to why a being such as yourself would degraded yourself to such… idiocy.

There’s only two possible reasons as to why you’d commit such acts. 1. Your benevolence blinds your logical reasoning, 2. You… enjoy it.

Dr. Ratio’s opinion on the viewers is that their brainless insects, he doesn’t even care enough to be annoyed by them, they’re just THAT low level of importance to him.

Charlie knows she should be upset that her dad just decided to spent more time in the Hotel because of a centrain Control Demon. Who could not care less about the kings crush over them, it was a good spawn to use whatsoever, so (Y/N) made sure to keep the fake facada towards him.

Of course they noticed that the princess of hell was not so happy about her fathers actions, while (Y/N) found it fun to watch, it was also a lose that needed to be repair.

"Princess" (Y/N) bowed towards Charlie who in reaponse tried to tell (Y/N) how that was not necesary, not used to the formality Charlie blushed as (Y/N) next words left their mouth.

"I apologies if this causes you discorfm, however you are the heir of hell and such i must act according to it"

"T-there is no need (Y/N)!! Really, we are all friends in here after all" Charlie responded taking (Y/N)'s hands "Im really happy you are giving this a try"

(Y/N) smiled at the princess, they could not understand how this was the pawn of Lucifer itself.

Meeting were Lucifer showing up randomly, putting much effort in impressing the Control Demon.

After the first time Lucifer saw you, he was hunted in the good sense by your eyes. These spiral eyes, it made him feel emotions he thought did not exist anymore.

Yet, anytime you two would meet up for tea or just for a walk, you would keep eye contact making the king of hell feel his soul being pulled out from his chest. His ideas and words would cramble as you would still talk about whatever topic you two were on.

What better chance to discover the secrets of hell if not by being besides the one who made it himself? This was a unique chance you were going to try and reach.

Lucifer had two ideas, one from where exactly he would find much work that needed you to be by his side- helping him of course, and two that it was an amazing oportunity to pass more time with you.

"Ummm, well I- I have it covered....from now"

Lucifer saw your reaction, your eyes being cast down and your shoulder defeating. He felt like he had just broken something.

However, that reaction was once again a calculated one. After spending so much time with Lucifer you got to see and understand what made the small king feel guilty and would make him fall down into your trap.

"B-but there are some really old books that needs to be clean and organized"

He cringed at his stupid "extra work" and waited to see your reaction or hear your words.

"Oh....so you are having a hard time with daily tasks" you said taking one hand to your face and thinking "I guess, its normal that even your majesty would face that type of thing. If you allow it would be an honor to help you sort these books"

One part of Lucifer was jumping while the other was completly frozen. You, someone whos name was whisper in fear in the circle, someone with so much power and intelligence, would do such a thing as organize books?

"I loved them when i was alive. Never was a big fan of Tvs or any electronic device, the touch of the paper and the different covers" You closed your eyes, adding drama to the moment, missing how Lucifer eyes almost turned in hearts.

"Well, its settled then. I can- i can call you so you can come over?..." Lucifer asked feeling like a young teen asking out his crush.

"Please, Lucifer its fine" You were going to kill him if you continued to adress him as that.

Alastor eyes devoid of emotions or any type of sign of being there. He just nodded his creepy smile not leaving. Slowly he turned back and went all the way to his room.

"Oh many times is he going to try get in my way" You murmured to yourself as you continued walking. "Well, i can always order him to kill the Hotel staff, im sure that would piss the princess really bad" You finally said with a sadistic smile as your eyes brighted in the dark.

So I just stumbled on your pet!au and can I just say I adore the characterization of the Reader?

I feel like I never see Reader characters who are just soft, sad little things who know they can’t fight back so they do their best to bear the situation. And that sucks for me because that’s literally me!!!! I’ve been doing that literally my entire life!!!!!!!! I’ve spent so long attempting to romanticize/eroticize my own suffering because I can’t escape it and the only other option is to take it as-is, so seeing Reader characters doing the same thing is a breath of fresh air. I mean, I’m an eldest daughter, of course I’m gonna have a crazy Fawn Instinct and do whatever it takes to keep my owners from hurting me!!!!!!

Anyway, I’m kinda curious, how would Simon and Johnny react to Bonnie maybe finding an empty notebook laying around and start using it as a little diary/journal? Maybe she accidentally leaves it out and they flip through the pages to see very intricate sketches of the view outside the window, studies of objects around the house, one or two front profiles of their faces, and little dated entries detailing some of her inner thoughts. The most recent page has a sketch of her nametag with her actual name written next to it, and several reminders that Bonnie isn’t her real name and that she needs to hold onto her name so that she can at least have one thing to cling to from her old life. Would Simon allow her to keep the journal? Would he take it from her and use it against her?

i really wanted to give bonnie the vibe that she's not really strong, but smart. because, i'm sorry, there are very very few people who could actually overpower two men, especially one simon fucking riley's size. and even if she did, what then? she's in the middle of nowhere. no, she's gotta play things safe and smart, and that's exactly what bonnie's gonna do. and lmao oldest daughter comment go brrr. fawning is a reaction both in real life and in literature that i have an obsession with. i feel like i end up using it a lot in my stories a;dlkfj it's always nice to write stories where the character is strong, where they do everything right and get what they want, but that just doesn't work for bonnie's situation and i'm glad it's an enjoyable dynamic to read!

as for your scenario, i honestly feel like Johnny would be super respectful of that! and we'll see why in a later chapter, but that man probably would open it in curiosity, see that it's yours and that you've been writing in it, and then snap it shut and pretend like he never saw a thing lmfao.

Simon, however, would read the thing cover to cover and you wouldn't be any wiser about it. until he's asking you what your name is out of the blue, and correcting you if you respond with anything other than bonnie. he's got no reason to take it from you. it's not causing any harm. pets deserve to play with toys every now and then, but he'll make damn sure that you remember your place (:

the discourse of not just that line but that entire episode in general is stupid and wouldn’t exist if this fandom had an ounce of media literacy

was katara right to say that to sokka? no, i’m sure that hurt like hell to hear and i have no doubt that she apologized to him and he forgave her because he understood, more than anyone, where that came from

is it absolutely insane that people hate on her for it or use that line as proof that sokka doesn’t mourn their mom as much as katara does? yes. this fandom is absolutely fucking insane. katara said that out of anger. her emotions were heightened because she just found out that she has the chance to confront the man who took her mother. she has been feeling this anguish for years and now it has a target. she will finally be able to put a face to her rage, will finally be able to get revenge and maybe ease the guilt she’d be feeling because her mother died protecting her. so when sokka and aang, two of the people she cares about most, try dissuading her intent to take revenge, she feels like its an attack on her very anger, on her grief. she feels like they aren’t understanding her, which is of course not true and she knows that, but she isn’t acting on logic at the moment. so she says some hurtful things to them because their perceived misunderstanding of her is hurting her. she doesn’t want to be talked down. she’s been holding this anger inside for so long and she is finally given the chance to let it out on the one person who deserves it the most, so when her brother and best friend try telling her not to do it, she lets some of that anger out on them. she tells aang that she knew he wouldn’t understand, unintentionally undermining the grief he’s experienced, and unintentionally does the same thing to sokka by outright saying he didn’t love their mom the way she did if he’s not with her on this. was what she said right? no. what it hurtful? yes. does she deserve to be hated on by the fandom for it? no

i’ll never understand why this fandom is so willing to extend grace to characters who have done far worse (like colonize parts of the world) but then hold characters like katara to impossible standards. she’s not allowed to stray from her nurturing and loving traits and experience human emotions like anger or else she’s too mean and a bitch. she’s not allowed to make mistakes like every single other character in the show because why?? why are her mistakes held to such a high standard that certain characters (*cough* fire nation *cough*) are never held to. it’s like this fandom is allergic to believable flaws in objectively good characters. aang and katara in specific will get crucified if they so much as accidentally forget to say “excuse me” when walking past someone it’s insanity

“What do you mean?”

Anastasia asked, as Achilles' hand closed up on hers. He would've dragged her out of there if she didn't hold her ground so firmly. He didn't want them to come, but she made it clear that she'd go with or without him, and didn't they always follow the each other? Even at the end of the world?

Anastasia was tired, and she knew they were on borrowed time. She felt the urge to kill Achilles tonight. But then her heart failed her again. It had always been very weak, but sometimes it felt like it gave up on life altogether. On those times, she felt it slow down and then she felt her muscle give up, deprived of the oxygen they so desperatly needed. She had wondered: if she died then, would the curse be broken? With no one to kill Achilles, would he be free?

She knew that he wouldn't be. The gods were too cruel, too proud, they'd find another way. So when Achilles reanimated her, something clicked.

She begged the gods again and again, but they always ignored her. So she remembered what the crazy but sweet old lady that sometimes fed them at the circus use to say:

'The old gods may be great, but they are neither kind nor merciful. They are fickle, unsteady as moonlight on water, or shadows in a storm. If you insist on calling them, take heed: be careful what you ask for, be willing to pay the price. And no matter how desperate or dire, never pray to the gods that answer after dark.'

But she didn't talk only about gods, did she? She talked about demons. They were the ones who answered after dark. So Nastya thought: if the gods have given up on us, why not give up on them too? Why not try with the darkness? At least it might answer.

Rumors were the path to the truth, she always said. And rumors talked about a woman who could grant them anything, for a price. It's this very woman she sought. Hearing her say she couldn't break the curse almost broke her heart again, but she wasn't ready to lose hope just yet.

“I mean giving you more time.” Ursula deadpanned. “It's pretty self-explanatory. As things currently are, when he remembers everything you only have a few days before the instinct to kill overcomes you. I propose to give you more time.”

Anastasia chilled at how the Sea Witch appeared to know details she didn't reveal about their curse. Achilles came closer to her, and she felt a bit braver.

“How many time?”

“Months, at least. Maybe even a year. It'll depend. The urge to kill will come back, and you will never know when it'll strike, but you'll both have time before it happens.”

“Can you... really do that?”

“For a price.”

“You mean my soul? When I'll die?”

Ursula smiled, but there was not a single trace of joy or love in that smile. Only greed. “You'd give your soul away for that boy?”

“Yes.” “NO!”

Nastya and Ash both answered at the same time. Achilles pulled Anastasia away and started whispering only for her to hear - but he knew Ursula heard all the same. “You can't do this! This is a terrible idea.”

“I'd do worse for you and you know that.”

“I refuse! You can't give your soul away for me. That's.... that's evil...”

“NO, what's evil is having to kill you everytime! Having to burry you and then having to live like a part of me wasn't missing, knowing that when I'll see you again, I'll kill you again! What's evil is what the gods did to us, and them being unpunished! Always the ones who win!”

Anastasia knew that if she was a better person, she would've made a deal to stop killing people, to stop the lycan curse or at least control it. She hated killing, but she loved Achilles more. And she wasn't ashamed of that. What she was ashamed of was the urge to kill him that was rising in her again. She could feel it at this very moment. It brought tears to her eyes and Achilles understood.

Ursula, however, rolled her eyes. “Tears are unnecessary. You love him, you'd do anything for him, we get it.”

“What do you know about love?”

“My dear child, love is my business.” She smiled that fake smile again. She was right though. Love could make people do desperate things, like sell their soul away. “Now come and answer me. I don't want your soul. I want that.”

She pointed at Anastasia's dagger. Helen's dagger, actually. The one Aphrodite gave her after she was cursed. A way to say 'Sorry I let my crazy father ruin your life. Here, a pretty knife to dry your tears.' She hated that dagger from the first day, but everytime she tried to get rid of it, it came back to her.

“... What would you do with that?”

“None of your business. Do we have a deal or not?”

Anastasia felt like it was a trap. More time and the opportunity to get rid of that damn dagger? She looked at Achilles, who was still wary. She wanted him dead now, so there was clearly no time to think.

“Deal.”

“Tya wait.”

But she was already giving the demon her dagger. She felt something shake in her. An unpleasant burn. Then... Nothing.

She looked around her and Ursula was gone, but Achilles was looking at her, so worried he seemed to run out of funny remarks. What a shame, she always loved his jokes.

“Are you.... okay?” He asked, clearly not knowing what you were supposed to say to your best friend who just made a deal with a demon.

“Achilles...” She whispered, and it worried him even more. She never used his full name. Not unless she was really mad at him. But right now, she was smiling. “I don't want to kill you anymore.”

Was thinking about how I would write a Suicide Squad book if I got the chance to post (hypothetical) Absolute Power and like... I would totally rock this guys

Won't go totally into it here I don't think because time and also feeling pumped about the idea so may write something for it (which I have an AWFUL track record for finishing, but also if current Waller appearances piss me off enough who knows) but anyways it would have Amanda Waller and Ben Turner (Bronze Tiger) as dueteragonists, (especially for the first few arcs, although moving to a greater Waller focus [at least for a bit] around issue 10? 15? When she really starts to do things). Anyways the main story (at least at the beginning) would follow Ben Turner as he leads the squad both in the field and at home (essentially acting as the "Waller" along with his normal field leader duties) while secretly having Waller herself in residence at Belle Reve pretending to be a prisoner.

Early issues would focus on Ben saving the world (and keeping the squad in check) while also struggling to hide Waller from the government, heroes, and the rest of Belle Reve (save an accomplice or two). This of course works great, until it doesn't

#not sure what the full squad setup would be here but on the more administrative side you would have john economos returning as belle reve #warden from the 87 series (with a focus on 'hey! this guy is corrupt!' in both a loser and maybe a threatening way) #and richard dragon i think. because ben will be under a lot of stress and should have a trusted friend there #and also for character reasons of course. yay character development!!!!! #richard would only be around for the first few arcs though like even before waller gets out of her cell hes gone #mainly i need him there to prompt a realization and some development for ben #also for when either shiva and/or cain shows up. because i love drama (and the kung fu trio <3) #there would be a justice for carolyn wu san moment bc i love her. but also like gap between what someone 'deserves' and what you could give #and the kind of person your loved one and you want yourself to be #(yeah ben spares cain's life. breaks some bones but yeah) #anyways eventually amanda gets found out. which ofc causes PROBLEMS. but at least it means she gets to do things in the plot and be all #waller like as opposed to being waller still but mainly focusing like character stuff. offering advice. small scale conflicts. near misses #w being found out etc. #but yeah this idea is very dear to me #amanda waller #ben turner #suicide squad #swishy aus #blah

#not gonna go into all my thoughts right now because it’s A LOT but #the ending was pretty good overall like I got my little complaints here and there but overall I was pretty satisfied #the choice of final boss (for kiryu) was narratively pretty half assed but. I’ll let it slide because that fight was fun #i feel like shinada deserved more closure in the baseball realm of things #and I feel like majima should’ve had at least ONE conversation with katsuya at the end #I would’ve liked to see kiryu reunite with him as well but. you know #majima and saejima’s conclusion was also pretty open ended and not clear but yeah. idk just a lot of threads #that don’t feel like theyre tied yet #but despite how it sounds the story of 5 i overall liked quite a bit #it’s interesting that my friend really doesn’t like that there isn’t a singular Big Bad Villain that’s known from the start more or less #like in most games but I kinda feel the exact opposite in that I like the mystery and finding out who’s pulling the strings and all that #a lot of the characters in this game in general are very strong despite some being totally newly introduced #like I liked katsuya and watase and madarame and I’m forgetting his name but shinada’s loan shark #I liked aizawa alot up until the end where they pulled what they pulled and now I’m conflicted cause that was. weird. but yeah #OH and baba of course #idk alot of supporting characters felt really 3 dimensional to me #shinada’s great and very lovable and I’m very sad he doesn’t come back in 6 or anything m #I liked haruka’s ending generally too because she basically did exactly what I was hoping for #which is realizing her own dream and all that and not just doing the whole idol thing just to live out mirei’s ideal life #haruka finally getting to make her OWN choice that kiryu or mirei or anyone can’t interfere with #that was good that was very good #rambling #y5
