list of ghostflower headcanons♡
♡
(bc my school wifi sucks, the draft didnt save correctly and accidentally posted it. so if u saw that post, u didnt. i think it only had like 1 note so im good but i freaked the hell out when i saw it was posted bc it was very much unfinished. so yeah, that.)
these sillies have taken up my mind so much, i dont think its okay. i was in math and i just thought about them and got so happy. i just make so many headcanons for them that i decided to make 1 long post about it. kinda a part 2 of a headcanon post i made like 2-3 months ago. enjoy the silliness :D
♡
their first kiss was pretty awkward. gwen wanted to make the first move but failed because shes too short to reach miles. she had to stand on her toes to reach him. (bonus: she uses her ballet shoes to reach miles' face)
gwen will always fall asleep when she's cuddling with miles. she keeps asking for cuddles and miles is like "gwen, love, you're going to fall asleep again." and she responds with "i wont this time." 5 minutes later, shes asleep.
♡
♡
gwen is like a cat with separation issues. she hugs miles so tightly any time he leaves when they are done hanging out.
♡
gwen always keeps a few sets of spare clothes at 1610, just in case her and miles decide to hang out without all the spidey stuff.
♡
gwen writes songs about miles. hobie and pav once found it and hobie's like "oh, i know who this is about" and pav is like "this is so sweet!"
♡
after miles met gwen, the song sunflower just has way more meaning to him. it reminds him so much of her, that whenever he sees a sunflower he thinks of the song, that leading to him thinking about gwen.
♡
cat lovers. both of them. they talk about getting cats if they one day move in together and they feed stray cats on the streets together (i drew a terrible comic for this its on my tumblr somewhere).
♡
both of them are just a blushing mess when they first start dating and do small gestures. like they hold hands and both of them are just blushing like crazy.
♡
miles always kisses gwen before they sleep, and gwen always kisses miles when they wake up.
♡
they share their money like a married couple. like gwen pays miles back for a coffee he got her like 3 weeks ago.
♡
they both have little creative work sessions together. like gwen is writing songs about miles and miles is drawing gwen. the few times they share what they make of each other

It is a beautiful day, and you are a horrible research transport vessel. Things are progressing as normal (i.e. it's boring) when a SecUnit pings you, lies right to your metaphorical face, and then tries to bribe you with human media to give it a ride. This is as unexpected as it is unprecedented, and the sheer nerve of it is really to be admired. There's no protocol to this, so what should you do?
Now, this is against a bunch of rules, and could be dangerous if you weren't so impressive and incredible, and you're technically an employee (and can probably rewrite the Univeristy charter at will (until someone notices and puts it back)) so those rules are for other entities.
So, what you should do is allow the rogue SecUnit with a broken governor module and a sketchy story aboard. If you check the files it dumps and find zero (0) malware (which is confusing), and it doesn't even try to trash the place or lay in wait to ambush a crew member, then you've got a good candidate!
Next, what you're going to want to do is absolutely nothing. Just watch it patrol your halls until it's time to leave. Continue staring at it while you're undergoing embarkment procedures. Maybe analyze it a little (you've got plenty of processing power to spare) when it finally sits down and starts watching media. Allow it to settle in and get comfortable while you stare at it and get further and further from port.
Now that you two are alone (intimacy is key!) and you've determined that watching media is all the SecUnit is going to do, it's time to make contact! Make sure to open by telling it it's only survived due to dumb luck, and letting it know you could melt its brain into putty. This starter will work to develop conversation naturally and smoothly, just like you've seen the humans do, and it will be smooth sailing from there!

I'm glad nobody's questioned why Sunset's personality is so different in the AU, but I'll explained anyways. AU Sunset basically has Tempest Shadow's personality. I decided not to adapt Tempest because too many redeemed villains, she doesn't play an important role in the overall story, and her broken horn is so cool and unique to her as a unicorn that any adaptation wouldn't do it justice. So I fused the two together. Sunset's backstory and hotheadedness with Tempest's tired, jaded, anti-social disposition and fighting skills.
Anyways, I hope it's not too jarring of a change. The more I develop Sunset, the more you'll probably notice how OOC she seems. I'll probably end up adopting Sunset into an OC once I'm done with the AU, since she's basically a completely different character.

No but like every time I think about Splinter and what he had to go through just to keep the boys alive, my heart hurts for him so badly. Is he perfect? No not at all, but none of them are and by god does he love his sons.
The fact that all of them are alive, and grew to thrive despite the circumstances surrounding them is a testament of how much Splinter loves his boys. He raised four babies following the most traumatic time of his life, all alone with nothing but the sewers to house them (to hide them.) I feel like he’s not given the credit he deserves for all he’s done.
And I get that it’s easy to hold up his flaws and faults when it comes to parenting, I myself like looking into them because flawed characters are super interesting and said flaws make them more realistic and engaging, but he tries, and again, so many others would have given up on the boys or failed along the way but Splinter didn’t.
He’s their father, for all his faults he did his damndest to make sure they survived.
