eh. might as well post this now. a few of these are wish fulfillment rather than actual theorizing but explanations under the cut

i have an alchemy hyperfixation and all the alchemy stuff in tmagp makes me very excited so a lot of my theories are related to that

spoilers for the pilot btw

main character gets an eye injury - the image will not leave my head. in the magnus institute ruins statement there was this whole thing about redcanary having some kind of encounter with or experience with eye trauma and that feels like something thats just. gonna come up again

another mechanisms va - self explanatory, we need to complete the set. would love to hear kofi or rachel.

gwen has trauma related to something that happened with elias - this is going on the theory that she’s not elias’ counterpart, but a relative of some kind. something spooky happens to him and that pushes gwen to research the paranormal.

character referencing nicholas flamel - all the main characters have names that reference alchemists, and nicholas flamel is probably the most famous alchemist of all time. i doubt he’ll be given the smirke treatment because that kinda already happened with the transphobic wizard books, but someone could be sharing his name.

mag 114 statement is relevant - thats the. hill top road statement that deals with other realities, and anya (the statement giver) could be from the protocol verse. we could totally hear about the aftermath of her departure

alice/sam/gwen = three primes - the three main alchemical symbols on the OIAR crest, and a good sort of symbolic trio sorter. the three peimes are salt, sulphur and mercury, and are the basis for alchemy. the down to earth, reliable salt, the firey, unpredictable sulfur, and the adaptable, easygoing mercury. i think these could apply i just want to have it called out in universe

lena is a good person - i don’t think they’d pull the evil boss thing twice. i just think lena’s weird mannerisms are from her autistic swag

a villain’s goal is creating the philosopher’s stone or other alchemical thing - tmagp is heavily inspired by alchemy, and the philosopher’s stone was the main goal of alchemy!! it would grant you eternal knowledge snd the ability to turn lead into gold- which seems like a good. evil dude’s ambition

the desolation gets more focus - the institute burned down, the oiar crest has a lot of sulfur symbols (the fire element), alchemy as a whole having to do with fire, celia and her connection- it paints a very. lightless flame picture

trip to germany - a lot of the arg was set in and around berlin, and there was that exchange between sam and colin about german in the pilot! i could see a germany trip happening in the same way jon took a trip to china and america.

Twice mv theory

if you thought my doughnut theory was complicated, then im sorry, because this theory is even complicated for me and i didn't work it out fully, share your theories and opinions! i love theorizing <3

okay so I actually watched this mv quite often, and its way harder to make theories than for the doughnut mv.. (even tho i was working on that theory for weeks ngl)

but there are two things i immideatly noticed:

1. Nayeon, Mina and Dahyun

these 3 dont leave my mind while im theorizing about the mv.

and yes im gonna pull the adam and eve theory out of my ass again (there is something about them that twice uses so much???)

how pooks @allfortzu said, "adam and eve but make it gay" (lmao) but while thinking about it makes somehow sense.

maybe its a weird triangle-relationship or some other thing, im not sure about that part, but why would exactly they bite into the apple? why not chaeyoung? why not sana?

there is something about the three of them, maybe the way they did something in the twice verse that can be seen as a sin.

For Dahyun, I can only think of the doughnut theory, is her murder the cause for sining in the more&more mv?

if im already talking about dahyun, i need to include the scene she has with jihyo.

the way jihyo stands next to her, singing into the camera while dahyun doesn't move at all, maybe a confrontation?

(and i actually have no idea why jihyo turns into a horse)

dahyun has weird scenes in some mvs, sometimes all alone, (best thing i ever did mv, even though they all have scenes alone i cant stop thinking about her scenes)

about Nayeon and Mina tho, i actually have no idea, like not at all.

i think they never had any special scenes where you can be like "why did they bite into the apple?"

something in the twice lore makes mina be alone many times, for some reason.

you can see in the mv that there is a snake (which also exists in the adam and eve story) maybe its connected to Nayeon and mina?

I also find it weird why Nayeon, Mina and Dahyun are the only ones stepping into a place that seems like "a new world".

going through, what looks like a Portal, into the new world, im not sure how that connects to the adam and eve thing but maybe it has again smth to do with that.

2. Jeongyeon

if you have seen atleast some of the twice mvs, you know that jeongyeon somehow plays an important role in it.

especially her black dress in the MORE&MORE mv made me think, because I dont think it was because the stylists dont care about her or something.

the way she stands there way in the back, alone, the black dress making her seem like an outsider, maybe something raven-like?

maybe its a warning, jeongyeon has had some "different scenes" since what happened in the fancy mv.

so we know that she touched the rose, touching a Spike that makes her pull away her hand, looking at the camera as, maybe, a sign?

this reminds me of the sleeping beauty, if you dont know who it is let me give u a quick explanation:

"Sleeping Beauty', a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, tells the story of a royal couple whose daughter falls into a hundred-year sleep as a result of the curse of an angry fairy after she pricks herself on a spindle."

yes, in the fairy tale it is an spindle, but you cant tell me that it doesnt seem odly familiar.

Honey stands from their chair again, and leans against the open door. The way it opens inward perfectly covers Guy from view of the camera.

They lean in, a loving smile splaying their lips and lighting up their eyes as they grasp the collar of his shirt to pull him in.

Chat can't see how their faces are only inches apart, they can only hear how Guy let's out a sound of surprise.

Honey plants a chaste kiss on the corner of Guy's mouth and then loosens their grip on his collar in exchange for placing their hand flat on his chest.

Chat can only hear Honey repeat, "get out," when they gently shove Guy backwards so they can close the door again. Their face displays a cheeky grin as they stifle a soft laugh at the sound of a very flustered, and probably offended, Guy.

Then they sit back in their chair and turn their attention back to their stream.

Honey was playing Life is Strange when they heard the front door open. They paused for a moment, expecting to hear Guy's usual "Honey, I'm home" call to announce his presence.

But it didn't come.

They paused the game and lowered their headphones, confusion evident on their face as they turned in their chair slightly, listening to the sounds of Guy putting down his work bag and taking off his shoes.

When the noises stopped, Honey assumed Guy must've just had a long day. They decided they'd check on him after they wrapped up this stream.

A few minutes went by; Honey had nearly forgotten Guy was home, it was so quiet.

Honey left the room without a second thought, their feet leading them straight to where Guy had bundled himself up on the couch. The TV was on, playing the cartoon network channel for some reason, and the lights were off save for a table lamp.

Holding his phone in front of his face while he lay on his side, he turned to look at Honey when he heard their footsteps.

His hair was a mess, he had bags under his eyes, and his cheeks were flushed.

"Honeeyyy," he pouted, his voice coming out strained and scratchy.

Guy had come home sick.

They checked his temperature, got him a cold cloth, brought him medicine, and basically played nurse before finally returning to their stream.

They'd only been gone for 15 minutes.

this is gonna sound delirious (and keep in mind that these are just my own thoughts and conjectures and also that im very sleepy and in need of a nap) but do u guys remember this tot promotional picture where mc is depicted as Themis and all the boys are messing around with the Themis' symbols?

this picture is an absolute goldmine for ppl who like to analyze and theorize, and this one really good analysis from angelictey on twitter is lovely and goes through each of themis' symbols present here: the scales, blindfold, sword, and snake. though snake is not Literally present here but instead represented by marius, who wears his serpent pendant. for more info on those symbols, i highly reccomend u check out their analysis!!

cuz i wanted to talk about something else: the broken pillar marius is leaning on

the pillar is Not among the symbols of themis, but it just got super interesting to me in relation to marius and atlas. bear with me here (and again, take all this with a grain of salt because like, im no expert on greek mythology ok), but marius, to me, is very atlas-coded, for the lack of a better term ajfhsjkhfvajs.

atlas is endurance personified and in greek mythology, he was made to carry the skies for eternity, this heavy burden upon his shoulders forever. now putting on metaphor-goggles, marius is in similar situation of bearing immense responsibility due to his current circumstances, primarily alone.

buuuut there are supposedly some versions of atlas' mythology where hercules builds some pillars to hold up the sky for atlas, thus liberating him of his burden.

however, the pillar we see in the tot art is broken/shattered into something shorter. and aside from seeing broken pillars in old ruins, u'll also see them usually on tombstones, because theyre used to symbolize an abrupt death or a life that was cut short.

which is worrying and morbid! but given the other implications in this image, it's pretty on par for course. i mean... //gestures to luke who so tightly holds onto to the sword of justice and bleeds because of it, implying that his duty/devotion to justice will harm him. so like, worrying and morbid is the norm for this picture JHVSJFVSJD

but back to marius: dont panic, cuz im not saying marius has a death flag now and can fistbump luke in the Death Danger Club jhdfjd. i think marius is relatively safe, because i see marius as atlas and not as the pillar that liberates atlas.

because theoretically, the only thing or person capable of fully relieving marius of the responsibilities that he currently has to shoulder is the very same person who disappeared and ended up leaving him with those responsibilities in the first place: giann

so giann's the pillar. and the pillar is broken. and a broken pillar means...well.

whatever was supposed to be set up through secret invasion seems like a forgotten part of the project.

the ending was highly disappointing. firstly, i love emilia clarke, dearly, but her character's sudden super abilities feels like a copout by the writers of the show.

more so, how far back was rhodey taken? im seeing some people theorize after civil war, or maybe infinity war? but either way this show just created a huge disservice to both continuinty and integrity to canon of character. does this show suggest that it wasnt really rhodey who mourned the loss of his closest friend? who experienced a mass loss of life and fought to revive it against a whole mad titan? thats fuckin lame marvel.

also fuck the whole ending of fury leaving earth again while humans begin to hunt down the skrulls. like wtf kind of ending is that? he had literally said it was his mess but all he did was get rid of gravik, but even then it wasnt him that did that, that was g'iah. so now what? who is gonna take over the mess? sam wilson? carol danvers? monica rambeau?

i'll be honest, this show did not hold my attention one bit. i did love olivia coleman's character, she was fun and i wouldnt mind seeing her character's dyanmic with others in the mcu. however it wasnt enough, i think marvel produced a show that should have taken more time on plot and storyline.

again, everyone did their best and gave great preformances. but pacing and storylines moved to quickly with little to no explaining. im still not over how quickly the show moved on from maria hill's death and talo's.

i really believed that because marvel was taking longer on projects we would see more attention to detail, but perhaps secret invasion was one of the last projects to be created on whim. regardless, it was lack luster.

Operation: Make My Friend Read TVL with No Miraculous Knowledge Other Than My Rants seems to be working. I showed her the part of chapter 9 where Adrien is making his own situation worse and then later I showed her the massage scene and she wanted to read more. HOWEVER, she had work so she couldn’t and I told her I could send her the link if she wanted. She didn’t accept the offer but I’m sure that if I show her more she will. She’s definitely interested so I don’t think it’ll take much more to get her to read it. I’ll keep you updated though

ok hi im BACK. i may have been procrastinating reading ur thawed series (like a total loser?? how did i procrastinate that) but now that i finally did it i am so infatuated ?!?!?!? i fucking love how badass the reader is and i loved her silly little friendship with lynette and fremi (and lyney too, no matter how much they denied its existence (('its' like the friendship. not lyney. love him)). ever since i started genshining (crowd boos) ive been obsessed with polearms .. theyre just so ??? aghmakdmf ?? ? they feel like water. flowey. like. yk. rivers (woah high class poet here watch out). i think theyre not as restricting as swords, bows, etc. honestly, a polearm is like .. a sword and bow in one. a sword bc. swoosh, kachow, yk? but a bow if you're bold. like, imagine throwing ur polearm like its some fucking arrow. sick as FUCK!! it would just be embarrassing to walk to ur (hopefully) dead enemy to pick it back up like 'ooh. that may have been dramatic u guys. mb.' also i. im wondering if i missed something while reading bc the knave just let the reader go?? like that?? nuh uh. i dont believe that. shes definitely keeping an eye out on her, making sure no fatui secrets get out .. i think im more excited abt the probability of an encounter between reader and arlecchino than one with the siblings fdjfidj. readers fight or flight goes crazy, and i dont think neither of those are really an option against a fatui harbringer, especially one that watched you train for most of your life.. probably knows everything about you, too ... yeuugh. i love the thawed series, and im really looking forward to seeing more of it!!! its really well done, i was giggling and kicking my feet while reading. im probably gonna reread it a couple times so if u see any of my crazy ass asks rambling, theorizing, and whatnot (just like this one), dont mind them ^__^

I think i have a better idea of yeosangs way of thinking with this whole baby thing: as seonghwa mentioned that may be the only way he can keep the mc with him and theoretically a child between two ppl can tie them together for life. Im still bothered by this bc instead of just trying to meet your wife in the middle with something as comparatively small to having a baby (literally just being home more), he’d rather take a more complicated route that can definitely make things more difficult in the relationship and will just make the problem they already have with him being around more even worse. it still doesnt make it right on his end but i think i understand a bit better

you’ve already given us an idea to how things can turn out in the story so i’m trying to hold off on any extreme opinions like “mc just leave and go to hongjoong” its more of a test for myself really to expand my thinking bc im guilty of doing this with a lot of things that i read

your take on this is an incredibly reasonable and thoughtful one tbh. it's understandable why he might feel this way, why he might think this to be his best option at holding onto something that he might feel is crumbling and slipping away from him in a way? like you said, not a good way to go about it and there are certainly better ways to do so, but sometimes people latch onto stuff like that even if it isn't necessarily the best way. he does love her, he does want to stay in this marriage and make it work, and perhaps this is just his way of grasping at the straws in an attempt to do just that.

does that make it good or right? no. but it does make him human.

yeah, they're relatively self-aware. i mean, there is of course an element of cat and mouse to their interactions that makes for an even more enticing element, but she is very much understanding of the fact that she shouldn't be entertaining any of this even half as much as she has been already...but the carnal wanting makes people do wild things, and she's lonely and angry and wanting for a man to desire her in some way beyond her ability to foster children.

as always i cannot say much for the future, but what i can say is...things are only going to be ramping up to 1000 past this point, i'll tell you what. certain men might be getting even bolder in the very immediate future 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

- synopsis: hongjoong had always been adamant in resisting his friend, park seonghwa, from partaking and going even further in his experimentations. as if life for seonghwa wasn’t a whole land of purgatory, will his inner demons bring out the best or the worst in him one fearful night?

- a/n: so yes i am back after nth months of indefinite ghosting and completely forgetting this account even existed due to my lack of commitment with my hobbies but ANYWAYS, that is another discussion for another day. i can't even describe to begin how much i had been itching to write something before the year ended but here we are with a seongjoong horror themed one, perfect for the spoopy month! now, im not gonna promise anything in terms of uploading regularly (although i dont think many of you could give two fucks) but i will still be posting stuff seldomly if writers block will not become my enemy for the months to come. though i feel like i can kinda be back in my writing element, time is the biggest constraint for me in pumping out ideas and fics hence why i have been ia and unmotivated to post... until today (which is kinda odd ngl but ik it wont last forever). enough of the jibber-jabber, please enjoy my unplanned october special featuring our very lovely seongjoong :) see u all soonest!

“Has the patient been experiencing any side-effects?” A faint and shallow voice echoes throughout the clean, white halls. “No sir, amazing to see how our test subject can withstand even the highest of frequencies.”

The nurse pleasingly announced. “It’s only a matter of time until we can actually start Project Siren on him to fully seal the deal with Ember Corp.” She enthusiastically added, with the squeaky wheels from the mobile hospital bed loudly agreeing. “Aren’t we too ahead of ourselves, dear?” Doctor Kim paused as he leaned over towards the nurse’s eye level and kept a steady but threatful glare. As she was trembling in fear, Doctor Kim leaned back and put his hand delicately on her shoulder. Composing her while asking her subtly to leave. “You are most certainly right Doctor, apologies for my immature behavior”. As she bows her head and Doctor Kim copying it, the nurse heads off the north wing of the facility-- leaving Doctor Kim and the occupied hospital bed all alone.

“Well, Mr. Park. Shall I roll you right back into your room?” Hongjoong pitched but no one was of answer, he heaved a heavy sigh and took course heading towards his main office with his patient.

A muffled voice and multiple blinding haze of lights had woken up Seonghwa’s senses as he gradually got back into his conscious state. But before he could even theorize on his own about where he was, Hongjoong was sitting across him in his leather office chair; watching Seonghwa slowly recoup and get to his bearings.

"Hongjoong? Wh-whe... Where are we?"

"Its DOCTOR Hongjoong mind you, and we are in my office; perfectly designed by yours truly."

Seonghwa shakes off the weariness in his head, clearly in distraught after 5 anxious hours of being knocked out. Hongjoong stands up from his chair and makes his way towards the side of Seonghwa's bed; keeping a safe distance to avoid any complications and sudden raptures that Seonghwa may present.

"Are you feeling better?" Hongjoong asks calmly. "I've experienced worse." Seonghwa replies with shallow breaths.

"You don't have to keep doing this Seonghwa. I told you, I'm more than willing to help you get back on your feet."

"Over my dead body would I treat you like an ATM."

Seonghwa's resistant tone and jaw clenching was enough for Hongjoong to entirely change the subject; even if he would like to prolong the conversation and plead for him to stop going through these sessions, both of them would just end up with cursing each other out-- something Hongjoong never attests to.

"So what happens now? Do I get to finally leave the facility?"

Hongjoong was adamant to let a word out of his mouth, he already had known that Seonghwa would not be able to leave this place immediately; not in due time at least. Seonghwa notices the sudden gloom in the eyes of the doctor, “Uh-oh, this isn’t good”.

He finally takes the courage to speak. "I'm afraid not in the near future, the company is still ordering for a few more trial runs before I can let you go." Seonghwa suddenly lifts his head up, eyebrows knitted and rapid impulses of rage race through the chambers of his mind.

"You're fucking with me." Never had he been more infuriated at the way things were going. All of his life was he berated of things he wasn’t coming into terms with, he had already accepted his faith being the unlucky duckling in his family. He accepted defeat and disownment like no other prideful being could ever do. But this? This was more than just cursing out, this was betrayal-- this was unacceptable in his books. He was promised 15 sessions only, a shit ton of money; he was promised to be out of this hell hole immediately.

"I thought we were already done with the 15 sessions?" A chilling growl rumbles down deep into Seonghwa’s chest, he was seeing red like a crimson tide crashing into his hindsight. Hongjoong couldn’t bear the sight of his friend all wired up and weary, but as much as he persuaded for him to stop Seonghwa from doing this all arguments would lead to nothing.

"I thought so too." Hongjoong replied as he crossed his arms, firming his stance in case Seonghwa would ever come at him. Carefully he stands closer to him, but he clearly wasn’t having none of Hongjoong’s gentle sympathy. "I'm sorry Seonghwa, these are orders from the board. You haven't been showing any signs of improvement-- you know how resilient and ugly these people can be when things don't go accordingly as planned." All could Seonghwa do was scowl at the sight of Hongjoong, he clearly had no energy within him to even throw the nearby glass of water on his bedside neither scream at the top of his lungs.

Silence filled the eerie void of Hongjoong’s office, no one was in their element to start a ruckus-- not even Seonghwa who could barely move an inch. After what felt like hours standing in the middle of nowhere, a sharp ringing blasts the entire room and perks up Hongjoong’s ear. With a hand gesture signaling Seonghwa to give him a few minutes, he leaves the chilly room, leaving Seonghwa all by himself.

In a fit of rage inside his head, a multitude of curses flew out of his mouth while clenching the white sheets delicately placed on top of him. As he continues to verbally bring out his anger, a throbbing and excruciating pain hovering all over his head brings out the worst in Seonghwa. He couldn’t get up by himself, Hongjoong wasn’t anywhere near him, all he could do was cry and curl up in a ball until the pain would miraculously disappear. Until visions of blood, slaughter and the whispering winds of the distress embraces him, Seonghwa ultimately stops from his cry of pain. The whimpers paused, everything felt so dense around him and his conscience was nowhere to be found. Seonghwa feels a moist, seeping spot on his blanket. As he reaches for the tissue box near him, his mouth opens agape to the sight being reflected at the monitor in front of him.

Why was he crying blood?
