It’s the middle of the day, the blistering sun shining down on Sebastian while he’s walking around LA. Cars race by, people push past him, tourists block the way stopping in the middle of the sidewalk to take selfies. He barely registers any of it, weaving his way through the crowds, head bent low, sunglasses on and earphones in. He’s aware that people find him odd for walking around the city, not going everywhere by car. Or at least that’s what people have told him when he brings it up. But he needed this, it’s what he does. Whenever he feels like he needs to get out of his head, deal with something, process something, he goes for a walk.
But LA is not New York. It’s very far from it actually. He’s here for meetings with studio executives, some auditions, but mostly to attend as many events as possible in the run up to the Emmy nomination deadline. Speak on panels, show his face on red carpets, do interview after interview. He knows why he’s in LA, why it’s necessary. It’s just been weeks already, and he feels a little exhausted, has started to wonder whether all of this is worth it. He’d much rather be in New York, sleep in his own bed, walk down those familiar bustling streets that feel like home, get coffee from his favorite place, run down the west-side highway. And instead of feeling like the walk is making him feel better, put it all into perspective, he just feels more alone. He just really wants to go home.
After his walk, he quickly gets ready for another round of Zoom interviews. He’s not the biggest fan of them, sitting in a chair all afternoon in front of a laptop screen, answering the same damn questions over and over again. He gets through the first couple of them pretty quickly, not as painful as he expected them to be but he mostly credits Lily for that. It’s better when he doesn’t have to do these alone.
Before he needs to call in for the next one, he has a little break, and he considers texting Chace to ask him what he’s up to tonight, if maybe he’d like to go for dinner or a drink (or five). Being around friends always makes being away from home easier. He’s about to open their text chain when a text message pops up.
Chris: hi! Saw you’re in LA? I know it’s pretty short notice but I just thought, I have a premiere thing tonight, if you’re free, I’d love to see you!
Sebastian stares at it in surprise. He hasn’t really heard from Chris for a while. He’d known Chris was around town, saw some of the prep going on for the Lightyear red carpet earlier that day. He’s not sure what to say. But before he can respond, his phone buzzes again, a couple of times in a row.
Chris: I mean, no worries if you’re not, shoulda asked earlier
Chris: I just know how much you like these kinds of movies and thought I’d ask, don’t worry about it
Chris: of course you’re busy, what am I thinking 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Chris: *typing*
It makes Sebastian smile a little, the way Chris is trying to talk him in and out of coming at the same time, sounding much less confident than he thinks Chris usually is. He’s not sure what to make of it, but he texts back before Chris can try to scramble back even more.
Sebastian: No, no plans, I’d love to come. I’m just not sure where to get a red carpet outfit this late that doesn’t make my stylist want to murder me 😂
He waits a couple of seconds. A minute. Two minutes that might as well be two hours, seeing the *typing* bubbles pop up and disappear a couple of times. It makes him nervous.
Chris: Anything is fine! No need to do the whole carpet thing, I’m sure we can sneak you in 😉
Chris texts him some more of the details, where to be and when, who he should ask for to be led inside unnoticed. He’s about to put his phone down, call in to the next zoom interview, when he gets one more text. He has a smile on his face for the rest of the afternoon.
Chris: it’ll be so nice to see you again. I can’t wait 🚀💙
Before he knows it, it’s time to drive to the theater where they’re holding the Lightyear premiere. It shouldn’t matter what he wears, he knows. He’s not doing the red carpet, no one is taking his photo. But he couldn’t help but dress up just a little, putting on a shirt he stole from a photoshoot recently. It’s semi-casual, but fitting for the occasion and wearing it makes him feel good. He still feels a little nervous about seeing Chris, but he tries to pull himself together.
He gets out of the car, gives his name and is quickly guided inside through the theater’s back entrance, by a stern looking woman with a clipboard board. She walks him down a couple of hallways until they get to some sort of backstage area, then turns around and leaves before he can thank her or ask where he should go now. The room is crowded with people, almost none of them familiar. He feels a little lost, unsure. Suddenly, he feels a hand on his shoulder and when he turns around, his looking into familiar blue green eyes - but not the ones he was looking for.
“Oh my god, Sebastian, I didn’t know you were coming! Chris didn’t say anything! How are you?”, Scott says, in his usual enthusiastic manner. Sebastian doesn’t know him too well, but he sighs a breath of relief that at least he’s in the right spot. He starts to answer Scott’s questions, but before he can even open his mouth, Scott’s grabbed him by the arm and leading him around the room, babbling about - Sebastian doesn’t know. Or forgets.
If he did hear anything Scott had been saying, he forgets instantly, when he finally spots Chris, deep in conversation with some people Sebastian doesn’t know. He’s wearing a colorful, casual shirt, cut low enough for some tattoos to peek out. The sleeves look like they’re strangling Chris’s enormous biceps. When he looks at Chris’s face, he feels like he has a little trouble breathing. He’s grown his beard out again, now with visible little patches of grey. His thoughts wander a little, thinking about what touching that beard would feel like. If the shirt is as soft as it looks, what those pecs beneath it feel like.
When he realizes that the people Chris was speaking to have left, and his full attention is now turned to Sebastian, he has to shake himself out of those ill-timed thoughts. He knows he’s staring, and he knows Chris has caught him staring, judging from the smirk that’s forming on his face. Chris’s eyes travel up and down Sebastian’s body, and he’s sure he must be blushing right now, suddenly feeling like he’s on fire with the full force of Chris’s gaze on him. When he gets close enough though, that smirk turns into a soft smile. “Hi, thanks for inviting me, it’s good to-”, he starts, but is cut off by Chris taking a couple of quick steps forward, and going in for a hug.
Now he definitely feels like he can’t breathe, Chris’s strong arms wrapped around him, his nose and mouth way too close to Sebastian’s neck, where he’s burrowed down his head. He can hear Chris take in a deep breath. “God, I’m so glad you’re here, I missed you”, Chris says, and they’re so close Sebastian can feel the rumble in Chris’s chest, smell Chris’s cologne, earthy and a little sweet, and something that he knows is just Chris. It’s familiar, it’s good, it’s something he missed more than he can even admit to himself.
“I missed you too”, he finally gets out. By then, Chris has (unfortunately) let go of him and is moving out of their hug. Sebastian realizes Scott is nowhere to be seen, feels a little bad for not making conversation, responding to those questions. He brings it up after he’s caught up with Chris a little, and by then they’re slowly making their way towards the screening room. Chris laughs, tells him not to worry about it, that Scott is fine holding a conversation just by himself.
Before go their separate ways, Chris to the stage and Sebastian to a seat somewhere in the back, Chris stops walking, turns to face him. He looks a little nervous, opens his mouth a couple of times and shutting it without saying anything. Then he shakes his head at himself, finally coming out with it. “How about- would you.. would you like to come over to mine for a drink after this?”, he asks, voice uncharacteristically quiet, sounding nervous.
He’s not sure what to make of it, all the ways Chris has spoken to and looked at him today, what it means. He knows what he wants it to mean. “I’d love nothing more”, he responds, and he thinks hope and excitement are clear in his voice. He doesn’t really care if they are. Whatever happens the rest of the night, it doesn’t really matter. Just getting to spend time with Chris is enough. He’s glad he’s here right now. Maybe LA isn’t so bad after all.

Therapy is Manly
Part two.
🧡 ~KiriBaku Fic~ ❤️
Summary: The happy ending to part one of this breakup/makeup fic! Many months later, Bakugou finally tries again. The link to the song that inspired me to write this whole thing is at the bottom. And here is a link to part one if you haven't read that yet. Enjoy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
10 months later…
No way. There is absolutely no fucking way that Bakugou’s going to let anyone lay a single finger on Kirishima if he’s there to help it. He understands Kirishima’s strength and knows he can take care of himself easily. But he also knows that Kirishima doesn’t have eyes in the back of his head. So when some dumbass villain decides it’s a brilliant idea to try and go for Red Riot’s back when he’s already busy with another villain, Dynamight’s eyes instantly lock onto his target before he’s charging and yelling at him and proceeds to blow the villain back a solid one hundred- ope no he’s still going- two hundred yards. Sure, he could’ve held back just a tad but that’s what the fucker gets so, oh well.
Kirishima‘s able to look over in the direction of the poor soul who’s knocked out in the next town over when he finally gets a hold of the villain in front of him, and his mouth hangs open as his eyes grow wide. “Damn… that was manly.”
The fight in the streets finally comes to a close and a random reporter tracks down the great up-and-coming hero, Dynamight, before he’s able to escape the scene. Kirishima can see Bakugou roll his eyes before he faces the reporter with an unamused look on his face. And just like the press, the smile that spreads across Kirishima’s face is unavoidable.
“Hey, Dynamight!” Kirishima feels nervous but he forces himself to walk up to Bakugou after the reporter disappears to go talk to another hero.
It’s been ten whole months since Kirishima last talked to his ex-boyfriend. Graduation was eight months ago, which was the last time he saw him in person. He thinks back to that happy day when the whole class was gathered in the yard in front of U.A., just freshly graduated, and two pairs of red eyes meet within the joyful chaos that was surrounding them. They didn’t look away, they held their gaze, and they smiled at each other. Graduation was a day of celebration, a day to feel hopeful about the future, and at that moment, they both felt a small spark of hope ignite for their future together.
Kirishima is brought back to the present when he looks at Bakugou’s arms, and he wonders if his muscles were that big before because damn… those look manly.
Bakugou hears the familiar, cheery voice call out to him and he instantly realizes that hearing that voice in person is a lot better than hearing it through his phone when he watches interviews of Red Riot. Yes, he realizes that he’s indulging in what he absolutely hates, but those interviews serve as necessary reminders of what he’s going to therapy for alright? He has found that they especially help right after a tough session when he’s feeling like shit.
The scowl on Bakugou’s face relaxes when Kirishima walks up next to him.
“Thanks again for the save back there! That was… really manly, even though you probably didn’t have to blast him that far!” Kirishima laughs a little awkwardly.
“Just be more careful next time, Eij- Shitty-Hair. And that asshole deserved it.”
“Whatever you say, man!” After a couple of tense and silent seconds pass by, Kirishima glances off to the side and his hand reaches up to rub the back of his neck. “Sooo… how have you been doing?”
Bakugou knows what he’s really asking him, and he wants to tell him. He wants to tell him everything, pour out all of the contents of his heart onto this gorgeous man standing in front of him, but there were still people around them. “Fan-fuckin-tastic.” Kirishima’s faint chuckle makes Bakugou’s heart stir. This opportunity was really being handed to him on a silver platter, wasn’t it? For a few weeks, he’s been thinking about reaching out to Kirishima but had no clue how to go about it. He wasn’t exactly comfortable with texting him out of the blue after so long but right here was a golden opportunity for him. So, in sheer fuck it fashion he gets straight to the point, “are you seeing anyone right now?”
Kirishima is taken aback by the sudden question. “Uh.. no. No, I’m not.” A few people have asked him out over the past ten months and he’s told them all no. Saying that he wasn’t exactly emotionally available at the moment. While Kirishima did in fact heal from what happened between him and his love so many months ago, he was still holding onto the hope of getting back together with him. Sure, he could have tried to go out on a couple of dates but it wouldn’t have been fair to the other person if he was just wishing he was with Bakugou the whole time.
Kirishima’s heartbeat starts to quicken. Why the hell did Bakugou ask him if he was seeing anyone? Was he finally ready? Was he going to ask him if he wanted to try again? Kirishima was holding his breath now, waiting for Bakugou to say something.
Bakugou keeps tapping his thumb on his thigh. What if Kirishima says no? What if he’s completely over him and realizes he doesn’t want him anymore? He shakes his head a little to get rid of the thoughts that are trying to poison his brain. Bakugou looks at Kirishima square in the eyes. “Do you want to come over to my place for dinner tonight?”
A wide, closed-lip smile spreads across Kirishima’s face and Bakugou wonders how a simple smile like that can be so full of light.
“I’d love to.”
Bakugou feels like screaming in victory, but of course, he keeps his cool. “Great. Seven o’clock. I’ll text you my address.”
“Okay!” Excitement sparkles in Kirishima’s eyes and Bakugou’s really starting to have trouble keeping calm.
“Okay.. see ya then.” Bakugou chews on the inside of his cheek. “Gotta blast-” and he did just that; stepping back and blasting up into the air… as well as immediately regretting those last two words. Gotta blast? GOTTA BLAST?! What the fuck?! When he lands on top of a building, the embarrassment fizzles out of his body, and instead, he feels so incredibly excited that he can’t help but scream at the top of his lungs. “FUCK YEAH!”
Apparently, Bakugou didn’t fly far enough away because Kirishima could clearly hear his mini-celebration off in the distance. His chest flutters and heat rises to his face as he lifts his hand to the back of his neck again and lets out an embarrassing little giggle.
Seven o’clock approaches way too fast but also way too slow at the same time. It’s really fucking weird how time passes when you’re incredibly anxious about something.
Bakugou is plating their dinner as Kirishima is riding the elevator to the top floor of the apartment complex. They’re both sweaty and feel like their hearts are about to burst out of their chest at any given moment, and Bakugou’s almost does when he hears a knock on his door. He takes a deep, centering breath through his nose before walking over to let Kirishima inside.
The door opens and both men look at each other.
Kirishima’s hair is a little longer than it was ten months ago, and with it down it just easily goes past his shoulders, and Bakugou can easily see the black roots that are starting to grow in. His shitty hair is really throwing Bakugou through a loop right now. He wants to run his hands through it and pul- nope, nope, no. Pure thoughts. Pure thoughts only. Then, suddenly, Bakugou is hyperaware of his presence because, holy shit, Kirishima is here, he’s here for Bakugou, at Bakugou’s apartment.
Kirishima on the other hand isn’t doing super swell either. He wasn’t prepared for the navy blue dress shirt and dark grey pants Bakugou is currently wearing and gets a small sense of embarrassment from only wearing jeans and a striped button-up. “Uh.. sorry I didn’t dress up more,” he smiles awkwardly.
Bakugou smirks and cocks his head. “You think I’m not used to the way you dress Shitty-Hair?” Kirishima hums a laugh. “It looks nice, by the way.”
Kirishima’s eyebrows lift slightly. “Huh? What does?”
“You hair. The length. Your roots growing in. I don’t know, it looks nice or whatever.”
“Oh! Thanks! I’m trying to grow it out longer actually! I think it would look badass if it was really long, especially if I go Unbreakable!” The embarrassment vanishes from Kirishima, and Bakugou relaxes as he steps aside to let Kirishima in. They continue to talk about his hair, about the roots being a pain to redye, Bakugou reminding Kirishima that he’s willing to help him with that process, and Kirishima being so relieved at the offer because it really was easier and faster with Bakugou’s help after all.
Dinner goes on just like that. Talking and laughing about anything and everything: from good days on patrol to not-so-good days on patrol, raises, promotions, where Kirishima lives now, health issues…
“I think the hearing in my right ear is going to shit.” Bakugou picks at the remnants of his food he’s trying to stuff down.
“Oh really? You should probably get that checked out.”
“Nah, I’ll be fine. It’s just a pain in the ass sometimes.”
“Katsuki.” It’s the first time Kirishima uses his first name after all this time and it comes out so naturally. Bakugou has a faint blush on his cheeks from hearing it.
“...Fine. Whatever.”
“No, not whatever. You should really call a doctor so it doesn’t get worse-” Kirishima is ready to go on a long rant about how one should take care of their body and listen to any signs of trouble.
But Bakugou cuts him off. “If I say I’ll call them tomorrow will you drop it?”
“-body is a templ- oh… Only if you promise!” Kirishima is surprised at how easy it was to convince him with something like this since he used to hate going to Recovery Girl’s office at U.A.
Bakugou rolls his eyes. “I promise. And if you’re gonna say shit like ‘your body is a temple,’’’ he says mockingly, “then eat all the damn veggies I made you.”
Kirishima pretends to look offended and lets out an overly dramatic scoff. “The audacity you have to assume that I wasn’t going to!” He then proceeds to shovel all of the steamed vegetables that are leftover on his plate (which was about ninety percent of what he had to begin with and was the only thing on his plate at this point) into his mouth. Bakugou chuckles as he shakes his head at him.
They then go on to talk about more hero stuff and soon they’re comparing how many people and kids have asked them for their autographs. Kirishima has two more than Bakugou and even though he hates any prolonged interactions with fans he’s still kind of pissed.
“What?! Bullshit!”
“Nope. Not bullshit. Maybe if you didn’t look so mean and yell at everyone then more people would ask for your autograph.” Kirishima gives him a smug look.
Bakugou scoffs and crosses his arms. A weird silence falls upon them. “I’m… I’m getting better at that, by the way.” Kirishima’s eyebrows raise.
“Oh? Really?”
“Yeah, really. I better be at least, or else I would’ve been wasting my damn money on my therapist.”
“Well, that’s good to hear.” Kirishima smiles at him. “Are you still going?”
Bakugou gets up from the table, gathers their dishes, then walks to the sink. Kirishima understands, it’s tough, talking about this stuff, but isn’t that why he’s here in the first place? Then again, it’s Bakugou talking here, so he’ll give him all the time he needs. What’re a few more minutes compared to almost a year anyway? He walks over to the sink next to Bakugou. “I wash, you dry?”
“Sure.”
And they do just that. Washing, drying, and putting away the dishes with nothing but the sound of running water and clinking of dishes filling the air. They’re comfortable next to each other.
Once they’re done, Kirishima looks at the clock on the stove. It’s starting to get late already. They were talking for so long that now they didn’t have much time to talk about… that. Kirishima loved how easy and normal it felt to talk to Bakugou again but he needs to address the more important topic here. He doesn’t want this to be just a random visit and then they go back to not talking for another long of period time. But he also doesn’t want Bakugou to feel like he’s pushing him too much if it’s still too early yet. “I should probably head out soon.”
Bakugou can hear the sadness in his voice even if it is barely there from Kirishima trying to hide it, but nevertheless, he recognizes that tone. “I’m still going.” He sees Kirishima perk up a little. “It’s just… fucking hard. Who knew I’d be so damn difficult to fix. I’m better, I think, at least that’s what my therapist says. Even my parents noticed.” They’re both leaning back against the countertop in the kitchen with Bakugou’s arms crossed and Kirishima’s forearms resting on the countertop. In his peripheral, Bakugou sees Kirishima looking at him intently. He chews on the inside of his cheek. “But I’m still... Or I still... You know.”
“Yeah, I get it. You still have your moments. I’m the same way.” Kirishima continues when Bakugou looks gives him a confused look. “I started going too… figured my self-esteem and sense of self-worth could use some help. And just like you said, I’m doing a lot better, but I’ll still have my moments. I’ll have this voice in the back of my head trying to make me doubt myself again. Or when I got that promotion at Fat Gum’s agency I started feeling a little guilty. Thought someone else probably deserved it more than me-”
“Tch, like who?”
Kirishima shrugs. “Anyone, really. I know, I know, it’s dumb, but I definitely don’t think that way now. And… I realize… back when we were together in school… I shouldn’t have let you off the hook so easy after the way you’d treat me. I was just afraid you would see me as weak if I were to get too upset over something you said and then you’d dump me because you’d realize you didn’t want to be with someone who was weak.”
“I could never see you as weak, Eijirou. You are one of the strongest people I know if not, the strongest. I could see the look on your face when I said those things to you and it terrified me. I thought that if I could make you out of all people feel like shit, then I really was a fucking terrible human being… I was scared of myself... And I was scared of what I was doing to you.”
Bakugou is looking directly into Kirishima’s eyes as he lets the words fall out of his mouth. He’s thought about what exactly he would say to Kirishima when they would talk about this. But what he’s saying now isn’t like any of the rehearsed lines he’s gone over multiple times in his head, he’s simply letting his heart speak for him. It was so easy too. With Kirishima talking about his thought process from back then first, it felt natural to follow his lead and open up about what he was thinking back then too.
Bakugou takes a deep breath. “I… I truly believe I’m better now, despite having the rare occasional outburst. But it’s not almost every single day that I’ll lash out at people. I’m still me, but I’ve gotten better at apologizing, learning after I make a mistake, and not being so fucking stubborn all the time. So… I know that this time, I’ll be able to love you the right way. The way you deserve to be loved.”
Kirishima swallows the lump in his throat that’s starting to form. He’s so fucking proud of Bakugou and he’s even proud of his own progress he’s made. Kirishima can see the determination on Bakugou’s face.
Bakugou shifts a little to face him more as he looks up at him. “Eijirou… If you want to and if you’re a hundred percent sure about it… I want to try this again. Try us again. I can’t promise I won’t mess up from time to time but I can promise that I’ll never call you useless again. Fuck, I’m still sorry about that. I regretted it the second it came out of my mouth, I don’t know why-”
“Katsuki.” Bakugou stops his rambling when Kirishima touches his shoulder. “I forgive you.”
Bakugou’s shoulders relax from the tension that was building up from remembering his mistake that caused everything to go down the way it did.
Kirishima continues to speak. “And, yes, I want to try again too.” Kirishima can actually see Bakugou’s face light up and it’s the cutest damn thing to him and he really wants to kiss him right now.
“You’re a hundred percent sure?”
“Yes, a hundred percent. I want it more than anything in the world. I want you back in my life.”
A hint of worry falls back onto Bakugou’s face. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t the least bit scared. I don’t want to hurt you again.”
“Katsuki. I’m not made of glass bones and paper skin. I can handle a slip-up from time to time, okay? And I promise that I’ll be better at holding you more accountable.”
“Punch me in the fucking face if you have to.”
“Um, no. I’d rather not end up like that villain today when you blasted him into next week.”
Bakugou laughs proudly at the mention of the scum bag that tried to hurt his beloved earlier that day.
Kirishima smiles back at Bakugou and pulls him in for a hug. He really can’t help himself, he needs to touch him again.
Their hug starts off light but it quickly morphs into the type of embrace that makes them grasp onto each other like a lifeline. Kirishima’s arms are wrapped around Bakugou’s neck as his face is buried into the side of his hair. Bakugou is squeezing Kirishima’s torso and his face is digging into his shoulder. They breathe in each other’s scents. The hug and the nostalgic smell of each other are immensely relieving. This is where they belong. Together. In each other’s arms. And it feels like home.
For a while, they stay like this. Simply enjoying every second of being physically and emotionally connected again.
“I missed you so fucking much,” Bakugou breathes out against Kirishima’s shoulder.
Kirishima wants to talk but his throat is starting to burn and his lips are wobbling, so he just nods first to collect himself before replying, “I missed you too.”
Bakugou squeezes him even tighter. “It’ll be better this time, I promise. I fucking swear, okay Eijirou?” He lifts his head to look into Krishima’s glistening eyes.
Kirishima nods again and lets out a shaky, “okay.”
“And I’m never letting you go, ever again…” Bakugou glances off to the side with a look of guilt and pain, “cause that was fucking terrible.”
“Yeah…” Kirishima takes a deep breath, blinks back the tears that almost spilled out of his eyes, and swallows the lump in his throat. “Longest ten months of my life.” He can see the look of shame fall heavier in Bakugou’s eyes. “But, we both needed it. So… thank you for being strong enough to let us go so we could work on ourselves for a bit.” Bakugou still doesn’t look as relaxed as Kirishima wants him to be, so he places a hand on the side of Bakugou’s face and it makes him look directly at Kirishima. “It still might be difficult from time to time, but growing together is just as important too.” Kirishima softly smiles down at the man he would do anything for.
A blush grows quickly on Bakugou’s cheeks as his eyebrows finally relax. He’s transfixed by the way Kirishima is looking at him so he can only answer with a simple nod. And Kirishima must have a vendetta against him because this gorgeous fucker makes his brain malfunction even more by leaning down to lightly press his lips against Bakugou’s. If butterflies were fluttering in his stomach before, then they were setting off explosions now.
It feels like their first kiss all over again. How is that possible? Neither of them know, but neither of them question it. Instead, they relish in the familiar touch of the other’s lips against their own and they both gain a sense of confidence that they’re going to be just fine.
Once they separate, they slowly open their eyes before pressing their foreheads together. A moment of peaceful silence falls upon them.
In the softest voice he can manage, as if any other tone would ruin the moment between them, Kirishima reluctantly utters, “it’s getting a little late… you want to meet up again tomorrow?” Bakugou affirms him with a nod before letting go and walking him to the door. Kirishima puts a hand on Bakugou’s hip and they exchange one more sweet peck. And then Kirishima gets a smug look on his face.
“Well, gotta blast, Katsuki!” Kirishima waves as he walks out the door.
“Oh my god, shut up!” Bakugou slams the door loud enough that it most likely annoys some of his neighbors.
Kirishima laughs and is about to walk away when he hears the door reopen along with a faint, “Oi.” He turns his head to gaze upon a red-faced Bakugou.
“....I love you, Eijirou.” Bakugou worries that he said it too grumbly before Kirishima instantly blinds him with one of his signature toothy grins.
“I love you too, Katsuki!” No one, absolutely no one, can compete with the amount of happiness Kirishima is full of now. The love of his life, declaring his love for him once again, sparks so much joy in Kirishima’s heart, he’s tempted to go on the roof of a building to scream, FUCK YEAH!
Bakugou allows a little smile to slip on his face and he closes the door once more. The smile grows even wider as he leans back against his door, and that’s when he feels it again: the magnetic force that’s pulling him to his favorite person in the entire world. And for the second time today he thinks, “fuck it,” swings his door open yet again, and marches right over to the redhead before he can reach the stairs.
Kirishima turns around in part surprise and part worry, and he’s about to question Bakugou until his hand is being snatched up and he’s being pulled into the apartment. “Uh- Ka-Kats- I’d love to stay longer but I have to wake up early tomorrow.” He might be protesting but he easily follows Bakugou’s lead as they cross the threshold of the door and Kirishima lets himself be pushed against the wall.
“So stay over.” Simple as that right? Bakugou thinks so at least. He intertwines both his hands into Kirishima’s and stares daringly into his eyes. It’s Kirishima’s turn to be flustered and Bakugou is pleased.
“But my stuff- uh- my hero costume is back at my apartment.” Kirishima’s heart is hammering in his chest as excitement starts filling in the pit of his stomach.
Bakugou tilts his head and smirks. “Then I’ll just go get it for you if your ass can’t get up early enough.”
Kirishima quirks an eyebrow. Okay, two can play at this game. “Hmm.. that’s if your ass is even able to move at all tomorrow morning,” Kirishima smirks back down at Bakugou before he grabs the back of his head and crashes their lips together in a heated kiss.
And what those two men, who were so deeply in love with each other, do for the rest of the evening... is classified information.
The Arrangement Ch. 16
Tumblr media
Story summary: Desperately in need of money, you answered the questionable ad. AKA-Arranged marriage AU featuring Y/N and Yoongi
Chapter Summary: Dinner at the “Best Diner in Seoul.” (Still not a date though, right?)
Previous Chapter here
The two of you dropped the van off without any issues. You walked outside the rental agency, onto the main street stretching your arms overhead. You turned to face Yoongi, “Alright, are you ready for dinner at the best diner in Seoul?”
Yoongi smiled, glad you had rallied from earlier. He put his hands in his pockets. “The best? I don’t know; that’s a pretty high standard. This is a world-class city.”
You started to walk, “It is, and I have eaten a lot of places. This one is the best diner.”
Yoongi followed you to the subway station.  “Where is this diner?” He asked. The subway was uncrowded, with not much of a rush happening on Sunday night. You each scanned your cards.
“It’s by work.”
Yoongi racked his brain trying to think of a diner near BigHit but wasn’t able to. He shrugged.
The subway car was mostly empty and the ride back to the city center was smooth. Yoongi scrolled through his phone. You got off and you led him down a few alleyways to an unassuming diner. It was truly a hole in the wall.
The neon sign above the door, “Dynamite Diner,” had a few letters out: DYMT DNER. Yoongi chuckled slightly and made a confused face, but took your word for it as you opened the door. The inside of the diner was clean and brightly decorated. There was a counter with bright white stools and several cherry red booths around the perimeter. Donuts sat in a display case next to a vintage register up on the countertop.
“I should have brought my sunglasses,” Yoongi joked as he followed you over to one of the booths. You laughed and put both your personal and work phones on the table and stretched. You were certain you would be sore tomorrow from moving all those boxes.
"What is that?" Yoongi asked, sounding mildly horrified as he gestured to your personal phone.
"Oh this?" You held it up. You had jokingly changed your lock screen to the picture you took of him sleeping the other night to see how long it would take him to notice. "It's you, looking so adorable."
His eyes widened "You put Tubby on me."
"Aww is that the bear's name?” You turned the phone back towards you to look at it. “So cute".
Yooongi touched his ear awkwardly, "It’s a dog, not a bear. Tubby was my family's pet growing up; our first dog. Anyways, I can't be your lock screen!" He pouted, a slight accent suddenly permeating his speech.
You looked over at him, trying to keep a straight face. "Ok first of all it looks like a bear, but that it was your family’s dog makes it even more adorable. Secondly, it's my personal phone sooo…. Third. where are you from?”
“What...what does that...Daegu.”
You smirked and looked at your phone again. “I guess if it really bothers you I can change it, but look? It makes me smile." You held it up and grinned.
The waitress came over, dropped off menus, and took your drink orders: Coffee, water, and a cup of ice for Yoongi.
"Oh my God, keep it." Yoongi opened his menu, clearly flustered.
You laughed, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, just stop showing it to me. Put it face down."
You smiled and complied, then flipped through the menu. “Why did we both just order coffee?” You asked. “It’s 9 pm. That’s a terrible idea.”
“I can drink coffee and fall asleep, no problem.  What's good here?”
“The noodles are really good. I'm getting the gaeranjim tonight. I used to come here after working at the bar since it's open 24/7.”
Yoongi looked over at, watching you scan the menu. You gave so much to the people you cared about." Spicy or regular?"
"Huh?" You asked, bobbing your head back up.
"Spicy noodles or plain?"
"It's cold out, so you have to get spicy." You said it so matter of factly.
“Ok, of course. Why did I even ask?”
You put the menu down and grabbed your work phone.  "Let's see what this week brings. Meetings. Meetings. Sound mixing? Recording. Meet with Hoseok. Hair and make-up department. Photo shoot? Photo shoot?"
Yoongi sat his menu down and interlaced his fingers in front of his face, resting his mouth against them. “Yep. They want new pictures for social media and for the album. My next album deadline is in 90 days but they begin all of this stuff in advance for things like printing and promos.”
“Oooo so you'll be like a model?”
Yoongi rolled his eyes and the server walked up to the table. She sat down all of the drinks carefully. The two of you placed your food orders and handed in the menus.
“Min Yoongi. Model.' You teased, striking a pose.
“Are you saying I'm not good looking enough to be a model?” He feigned offense while pouring his coffee over the ice and stirring it.
“Oh please, I told you at the job interview I thought you were good looking. It's just hard to imagine you sitting still and being pretty.”
Yoongi rubbed the back of his neck. “Well it's in my contract. And my fans like it. As much as I hate parts about my job, I do love my fans. " He took a sip of his drink.
“That's sweet.” You smiled.
Yoongi blushed a little, “Well I wouldn't be where I am without them, right? You have to have an audience to be a performer. Someone has to listen, otherwise you're just screaming into the void.”
“I guess that makes sense. Being on the consumer side of things I never really thought of it like that. Huh.” You sat back in the booth thoughtfully and sipped some coffee.
Yoongi looked out the glass window at the street outside. It had been a strange couple of weeks for him and yet this all felt normal. He couldn't remember the last time he had gone out to a restaurant with someone because he wanted to. He covered a yawn and looked back over at you.
You were people watching in the diner. You were normally only here in the middle of the night. The bell above the entrance dinged and you saw Chinsun, your regular server, walk in to begin her night shift. You smiled as you remembered all the coffee and bullshit you had shared with her. There were nights you got off work at 3 and knew it made more sense to power through and go into the office. You decided you would talk to her later if she wasn't busy.
The food came out a few minutes later.  Hunger had snuck up on you. You went from zero to famished. You began blowing on your meal.
“Y/N?” You heard the familiar voice of Chinsun “I haven't seen you in a while.” She had on her white and red work uniform and her graying hair done up in a bun.
You looked up from your eggs and smiled,  “Nice to see you. I quit working at the bar, I just have 1 job now.” You said happily.
“That's great, you can only burn the candle from both ends for so long. I'm surprised you did it for as long as you did.” She responded.
You shrugged and took a sip of water. “Well we all do what we have to.”
“And?.... who is your friend?” Chinsun gestured to Yoongi who was mid-slurp on his noodles. Apparently he was also starving.
“This is my boss, Min Yoongi.”
He patted his mouth with a napkin before speaking, “Hello,” he bowed his head. “Nice to meet you.”
“I’m Chinsun. It’s nice to meet you too.  Well I'll let you get back to your meal, I'm glad you stopped by, I was worried when I didn’t see you for a while. Make sure you two come back!”
“Thank you. You are so sweet. I’ll make sure to stop in again soon, take care.” You took a bite as soon as she left.
“These noodles are in fact, the best.” Yoongi appraised between slurps.
“I told you. You can’t beat a hole in the wall diner sometimes. So...new album in 90 days? How’s it going?”
“It’s ok. A few songs are done. I got feedback from Adora last week so that was helpful. This album in general will be less….angry. Yeah less angry sounding.”
“Cool. What comes first, the music or the lyrics?”
“They are separate completely. The music and then I see if any of the  lyrics I’ve written match the mood. Sometimes it just goes together and sometimes it doesn’t.”
“Interesting.”
Yoongi talked a bit more about the process of creating an album from start to finish. You had never put any thought into it so it was fascinating. The rest of your meal passed without incident and you were happy that when they brought the bill, Yoongi actually let you pay.
You waved to Chinsun as you exited. Yoongi rubbed his stomach. “Too many noodles.”
You smiled and then looked up at the sky. It was beginning to snow. “No such thing. And look. What great timing. The first snow of the year.”
“Gross.” He quickly replied.
“Ahahaha you really hate the cold don’t you?” You said as you held out your hand, watching the flakes land and melt almost instantly.
“I do. The snow is pretty though. I’ll look at it tomorrow from the warmth and safety of inside.”
“You’re no fun. I love the snow.” You played with it for a few more seconds. “Alright let’s get back.”
The snow continued to fall as you began the short walk back to BigHit. It was so pretty. The sidewalk was almost empty and the snowfall made it seem even quieter than it was. You took your phone out and snapped a picture for Instagram. In a few minutes, you were back at the building. The two of you scanned your badges to enter the lobby and waved to the night security guard.
“I’m heading to the studio. You should take some aspirin and a hot bath.” Yoongi said while you waited for the elevator.
You reached over without thinking and dusted snowflakes off of his hair. “Do you need help with anything? I also had coffee, I’ll probably be up for a while.”
Yoongi was briefly unable to answer, still surprised from having been dusted. “Nope. I’m just going to write. Go, rest your muscles. Watch Netflix. Relax. You literally moved a small apartment’s worth of stuff today.”
The two of you got on the elevator. “Alright. If you insist. I’m not going to argue with that. Where is the aspirin?”
“My bathroom. Bottom left drawer.”
“Got it.” The elevator slowly climbed. You took a deep breath and looked over at Yoongi. “Thanks again for all your help today. Like. ALLLLL of it. The van, my aunt, my brother. Thanks. It was a lot.”
Yoongi avoided eye contact, finding his shoes very fascinating. “No problem. Like I said, it wasn’t that bad for me. I got free soup and noodles.”
You laughed, “Good to know your chauffeur services are so affordable.” The elevator stopped on the 14th floor.
“See you tomorrow.” Yoongi started to exit, “If Jin’s girlfriend acts up, call me.” Yoongi added as though he suddenly remembered something.
“Now that I know that’s a thing, apparently, I’ll be fine.  Thanks though.” You waved as the doors closed.
You’d be fine. Yoongi reassured himself as he walked over to the studio. He was suddenly acutely aware of just how quiet the 14th floor was with no one else on it. He walked over to the large windows on the opposite side of the elevators. The snow was really coming down now, and the ground would soon be blanketed. He opened the shopping app and searched “snow gloves.” He took a deep breath, What am I doing? He walked over to the other side of the floor, punched in his passcode, and entered Genius lab, ready to get some writing done.
--
Fuck, you were so glad today was almost over. You walked into the apartment and immediately started a bath. You set up your laptop on the toilet lid. You were going to live your best life, watching Netflix in the bathtub. You had heard of such luxuries and were strangely excited by it. You headed up to the loft area, randomly grabbed a stuffed animal and threw it onto Yoongi’s bed. You grabbed the aspirin and smiled as you passed the Pikachu you had yeeted onto Yoongi’s comforter and imagined his annoyance when he discovered it. Ah, it made you laugh. You grabbed yourself some water from the kitchen and headed off to soak away your soreness and forget the day. You paused briefly to admire the snow coming down in full force now. So beautiful.  NEXT CHAPTER
💛 femfeb day 4 | my femfeb masterpost 🧡 xposted → ao3 | dw | pf.io 💖 Brigitte/D.Va | 3k | Gen 🧡 AU, canon divergence, A/B/O, omega/omega, meet-cute, first meeting 💛 Hana meets a cute girl at the omega bar.
Hana leaned against the bar, blinking thoughtfully at the rows and rows of bottles. So much alcohol. She recognized some of the labels, but it wasn’t like they were going to have Soju in some random omega bar in the outskirts of Vancouver. She had been here for almost two weeks filming a movie, but this was her first time venturing outside of her hotel. She could have gone down to the hotel bar, it seemed nice, but she didn’t want to run the risk of any alphas getting any ideas. The omega bar was really nice. It was all decked out in pale purples and lilacs with silver accents on the tables and chairs. There was a currently unoccupied stage that hosted bands or DJs on other nights if the flyers outside were anything to go by. Right now, there were top forty tunes playing over the sound system and speakers, just loud enough without needing to shout over the noise. The lighting was cool and dim, and the whole place had sort of a chic, clean vibe. It was nicer than any other club she’d ever been to, that was for sure. To be fair, Hana didn’t often go out to bars or clubs. It just wasn’t feasible. She was easily recognized everywhere she went in Korea. Her face was on billboards touting energy drinks and the packaging of convenience store chips. Hundreds of thousands of people watched her stream video games, or live chats where she talked to her fans. If she wanted to go out in Seoul, Busan, or Incheon she would have to reserve the entire club or seclude herself to bottle service in the VIP section. Neither appealed to her or seemed worth the effort. Overseas? Next to no one knew who she was. Occasionally she got recognized on the street, but even then, it was usually someone who excitedly asked for a picture and then let her be. There were no mobs of people, no need for extra security, nothing like that. It was kinda weird. She wasn’t sure how she felt about it. On one hand, it afforded her the opportunity to go out and do things she normally never did, but on the other hand… she kind of just liked staying home and playing video games. It really didn’t help that the only people she knew around town were the cast and crew of the film she was working on. They were all really cool and nice, but she spent all day working with them. She felt bad asking any of them to spend even more time indulging her elsewhere. That meant she had to go out alone if she wanted to go out. Most omegas knew better than to wander the streets of an unknown city alone. Probably nothing would happen, especially in a country like Canada that was generous with their omega rights, but it was still touchy. It wasn’t until she found out about this place, a bar that exclusively catered to omegas who were attracted to other omegas, that she even entertained the idea of venturing out. Hana wasn’t sure if she was attracted to other omegas, really. She didn’t have much dating experience. She’d had to kiss a couple of alphas because the scripts of her other films called for it and she didn’t… really…. like it. Maybe because it was fake acting or whatever, but it just didn’t do anything for her. She got butterflies in her stomach when her omega friend Dae-hyun complimented her, or that time she ran into omega DJ Lucio at a premier once. Not around alphas. Alone in an unfamiliar city was as good a time and place as any to explore her feelings. “Hey, cutie.” The bartender who had been busy taking orders all up and down the bar finally sidled up to her. “What can I get you?” “Uhm,” Hana didn’t know what to drink. She mostly drank peach soju or flower wine at home. And really, she didn’t drink very often. “Something peach?” She tried, trying not to feel too self-conscious about her silly drink order. “Like… a peach bellini?” The bartender asked with a little uncertainty, perhaps overwhelmed by all the peach possibilities here. “Or I can make an old fashioned with peach in it.” “A tabernacle crush.” An omega with long brown hair strung up in a high ponytail came to stand in the empty space beside Hana. She offered a wink before turning her attention to the bartender. “You know, with basil and gin.” “Yeah,” Hana agreed, heart thrumming from that wink alone. “One of those.” “And a Molson for me,” the brunette added. She waited until the bartender set about getting the beer and making the drink to turn to Hana. “Brigitte.” She stuck out her hand. “Hana.” Hana shook her hand and took her in. She was tall, though most people were in comparison. She had some serious muscles on her, like she was totally built. There was even a tattoo peeking out from under the short sleeve of her shirt. She was really pretty too. For all her muscle, her face was soft and sweet with big brown eyes like a doe. Hana wished she had something cool or suave to say but… all she could think of was “Hi.” “Hi,” Brigitte laughed warmly. Not like she was laughing at Hana for the silly introduction, but more like she was happy. “I hope you don’t mind me butting in. This drink, it’s got that crazy name – tabernacle crush – but it’s so good. I found out about it a few weeks ago. I’ve been drinking them non-stop. This is the first night I’ve had a beer in ages.” Hana was immediately charmed by Brigitte’s apology for the intrusion. An alpha would never. So insufferable the way they think they know everything omegas want. This was so much softer and sweeter; Brigitte just wanted to share her favorite drink. “No, it’s cool,” Hana assured. “You can totally sit and drink with me, if you want?” Right on time the bartender returned with a tall glass. The drink itself was kind of yellow with bits of fruit and leaf in there. Brigitte’s drink was just a standard tan beer with foam at the top. Hana took a sip of hers and the alcohol was strong, but it tasted good. “Oh, I like this,” she said, all too pleased. “Want to bore each other with small talk?” Brigitte asked, but she had a big smile on her face like there was nothing she wanted more. “Yes, please!” Hana agreed. Small talk was kind of a luxury for her. So many fans already knew so much about her, she never got to answer ordinary questions anymore. Sometimes interviewers asked her boring questions, but it was stuff about her upcoming projects or her favorite video game like she hadn’t answered that a million times already. “Sooo,” Brigitte took a sip of her beer. “Are you from Vancouver?” “Nope,” Hana shook her head. “I live in Seoul, South Korea.” Brigitte nearly choked on her drink. She swallowed quickly. “Wait, what? Seriously? No way, I’m supposed to be the cool and mysterious foreigner.” “Huh?” “Yeah, I’m from Sweden. Though, I’ve been going to university in Germany for the past two years.” Hana was somehow relieved to find another non-native. It felt nice to know she wasn’t the only one alone in this city. Though, Brigitte definitely seemed comfortable here. “A world traveler, huh?” Hana said curiously. “Oh, no. It’s not like that.” Brigitte laughed. “Not really. More studying than traveling. I’m just doing a semester here before I go back to Germany.” The likelihood that this would be some kind of lasting relationship was effectively dashed. It was already unlikely considering that Hana was only here to film a movie, but it didn’t help that Brigitte’s residence in the city was temporary too. Still, that didn’t stop Hana from chatting her up. “What do you study?” Brigitte brightened, obviously enthralled by her career of choice. “Mechanical engineering.” “Oh, woah. This is good, I can totally impress you by telling you I built a motorcycle by myself a few years ago. Ah, well, technically my friend Dae-hyun helped. But it was mostly me. It was so awesome.” Brigitte was looking at her over the rim of her beer glass, eyes sparkling a little in the mood lighting of the club. “What?” Hana took up her own drink, suddenly too aware of herself and her hands and the fact that she wasn’t doing anything with them. She poked at the ice and basil leaves with her straw. “You wanna impress me, do you?” Brigitte asked, raising up her eyebrows. “Shut up,” Hana scoffed, but her blush totally gave her away. She looked off, behind the bar. Butterflies started fluttering around in her stomach, the way they always did around omegas. Ugh, this was so embarrassing. “Hey, I’m sorry for teasing,” Brigitte said sweetly, reaching out to gently lay a hand on Hana’s arm. “That actually is really cool about the motorcycle. Automotive engineering is awesome.” After a beat where Hana warmed up to her again and turned her attention back to the conversation Brigitte asked her “Is that what you’re in school for?” “Oh, no I’m not in school,” Hana said, feeling a little awkward. How do you tell someone you’re an international celebrity and movie star? That’s sort of a weird thing to just drop in a conversation. “No? What brings you to Vancouver then?” “I’m actually, uh, filming a movie.” Brigitte’s big brown eyes went wide. “What, really? I’ve heard that Vancouver is like a big film industry town. So, you’re an actress or something?” Hana hummed and sipped her drink. “Yeah, kind of.” “Oh, that’s cool.” Brigitte seemed like she meant it, and not like she was humoring Hana. “What kind of movie is it?” “It’s an action movie. There’s tons of car chases and stuff, but mostly I just sit in the passenger seat of a half-built car in a studio.” Hana’s first movie had been a ridiculous romantic comedy called ‘Hero of my Storm’. It was popular in Korea, but not so much anywhere else. She’d been in a few other things after that, guest starring on tv shows and cameos in other films. This was her second starring role, and her argent was trying to help grow her brand or make her branch out or something because it was a lot different than the stuff she’d been doing before. “I’m going to take everyone I know to see it when it comes out,” Brigitte said confidently. “And tell them all I went on a date with a movie star.” Hana laughed a little, and the tail end of that sentence caught her attention. “So, this is a date, huh?” “This?” Brigitte gestured between the two of them. “No, this is drinks at the bar. I was thinking we could go on a date this Friday, if you’re not too busy filming that is.” She winked again, and Hana was so flustered by it she could feel herself turn red. “Uhm…” Oh, she wanted to. She really wanted to. Screw it. Why not? “Okay, Friday.” She was pretty sure she wasn’t scheduled to film then. Brigitte took out her phone, opened it up to the contacts and passed it offer. “Here, put your info in.” Hana did, adding the cute bunny emoji and double hearts next to her name. She handed it back to Brigitte and had her do the same. Hana had no intentions of coming to the bar to get lucky, so to speak. She was mostly just looking for a place to hang out and spend some time. She had no idea she would meet someone so cool, and cute. She really liked Brigitte, even though they had only been talking for a short while. Unfortunately, she had noticed the time while putting her number in Brigitte’s phone. She should probably head back to her hotel. She had to be on set early in the morning and she wasn’t going to be that asshole who stayed out all night partying, showed up late, and totally screwed up production. She finished the last of her drink and fished some Canadian bills out from her wallet to leave on the bar top. “So, I kind of have to get back… but maybe you could come outside with me and wait for my ride to get here?” It was sort of a lame suggestion, hey wanna go stand around on the sidewalk, but she didn’t want to leave Brigitte’s company yet. Brigitte lit up, smiling brightly. “Sure.” Ah, well. She didn’t seem to think it was lame. She knocked back the rest of her beer and settled up her own tab. Together they walked outside. It was spring in Vancouver, but that didn’t mean it was warm. Especially now that the sun had gone down. Hana quickly requested a ride on her phone before shoving her hands in her pockets to keep them warm. It was quiet outside, with no pop music playing overhead or sounds of other patrons drinking and laughing. There was another bar across the street, one that didn’t cater to the specific niche of omegas. Hana looked across the way and saw a bunch of drunk alphas stumbling outside. She was suddenly very grateful Brigitte was with her. “So, is this the part well you tell me you’re actually a famous actress and I look like an idiot for not knowing who you are?” Brigitte teased her. Hana flushed a little. “Well… only in Korea,” she said honestly. Brigitte laughed, warm and sweet, seemingly thinking this was a joke. After a second, she quieted. “Wait, you’re kidding right?” Hana watched the alphas across the street just to have something to look at other than Brigitte. Ugh, this was so dumb. She was never usually so self-conscious. She didn’t actually care if anyone knew who she was. The millions of fans, the endorsement deals, the celebrity status overseas. She wasn’t going to brag about it or try to hide it, she just didn’t know how to tactfully broach the subject with someone she kind of had a crush on… “Oh, wow. You’re not kidding,” Brigitte said in disbelief. “I-" Hana didn’t know what to say. She was surprised when she felt Brigitte’s warm fingers on her chin. Her touch was soft and gentle in the way only omegas were. She turned Hana’s face towards her own, meeting little resistance. Hana had to tilt her head up to look her in the eye, but she did. God, she was so pretty. Hana’s heart beat a little faster in her chest. “Are any of your fans going to send me hate mail if I get caught kissing you?” Brigitte asked, something slightly mischievous about her tone. Hana’s eyes darted to Brigitte’s lips. Pink like flower petals, so kissable. They probably tasted sweet like Chapstick. In all honesty, she did have some intense fans who went overboard when they saw her spending time with alphas. Little did they know, it was her omega friends they should be more worried about. If she did get caught kissing someone it would be all over twitter and splashed across trashy tabloids in Korean newsstands. It was probably a bad idea to do it out in the open here where anyone could see… and yet she wanted a kiss so badly anyway. “Would that stop you?” Hana asked softly. “…No, I guess not.” Brigitte smirked before leaning down and pressing their lips together. Hana felt something soft and happy blossom in her chest. It was short kiss, soft and sweet, but it felt so right. It was a real shame when it got interrupted by the whooping and hollering of the alphas across the way. Hana pulled back and shyly went to hide her face in Brigitte’s chest. It was warm and cozy there. She could hear the muffled rumble of Brigitte’s laugh through her body. “Want me to say something?” She asked. “No don’t bother.” Hana shook her head. It was never a good idea to get alphas riled up like that. She liked that Brigitte was willing to step up and defend her, though. She especially liked that Brigitte asked first before hauling off and starting something. She liked Brigitte a lot. When her ride pulled up Hana had half a mind to wave them off so she could stay cuddled up to Brigitte a little while longer. Instead she pulled away, waved goodbye, and climbed in the back seat of the car. The driver was a beta, she had used an app specifically designed for omegas to safely request rides. Even though the beta didn’t have much of a scent, she missed the sweet smell of Brigitte. Hana was already counting down to Friday when she would see her again. She was suddenly very glad she was in Canada where no one knew her, where she could go out to the bar and meet someone new. She was glad she had taken a chance. It was worth it.
Raffy - i am sooo lucky to have met you!!! thank you for like keeping me sane in this game lol and taking the stress off of my shoulders for all of premerge n the beginning of merge. love how i could finally witness your famous weird camera angles! i got so many laughs out of the calls with you, jg, and bryan and i can’t wait until we’re all reunited!! goodluck in your other games, i know you’re going to kill them!!
JG - omg we actually got redemption for isle of skye? i am sooo happy and like privileged that i got the opportunity to talk to you and work with you! you have such a bright and bubbly and happy personality and i really hope we continue talking after this game so i can hear more mcdonalds horror stories and learn more about the exciting things that are coming up in your life! ooh and so i can watch u n raffy mess around in fortnite.
Dani - hows jury?? xx
Richie - omg you are actually sooo funny and i’m like mad at myself that i didn’t try to get to know you better. i think i was a bit intimidated by you because i heard from others that you weren’t my biggest fan eek! but the few conversations we did have were my fave. we need to start up that face mask company, me n blake came up w an amazing marketing scheme but we need our model!  my fave nicole gif btw:
Tim - i’m rly bummed that we didn’t work as closely as we did in isle of skye bcos that was so much fun. your final memes that you sent me were so funny and gave me heaps of nostalgia. i hope everything goes well for prom and you n your friends have heaps of fun!!
Blake - i keep reading funny things or spot a hot guy or something n go to message you but realise i can’t. i rly made my life a lot less interesting huh!! becoming friends with you was probably the best experience for me of this game. i really hope that voting you out doesn’t change our relationship and we can still be friends and talk heaps, and watch horror movies, and be mean to people. HAHHAHA. i love you lots!!!
Blake: You are such a great guy and an awesome player! From being the only two from Sima that stuck together at the first tribe swap, to getting back together on Thueban. You were a great ally and I was to have to cut ties.
Tim: Tim! You’re a really great guy and I still really loved the flag you made for the merged tribe challenge all on your phone, especially the beret and mustache :P Have fun at prom when the time comes and hopefully you found a nice tux!
Richie: You played hard right up to the end and I respect that! You played a great game. Keep dropping your Survivor/BBCan/BBUS knowledge and you’re bound to get a job on the spot! I guarantee it!! Haha Remember, you’re a survivor of grad school, no matter how long you were in it
Dani: You played an awesome game but I guess the odds just weren’t on your side in the end. I wish you the best of luck with your goal of getting on Survivor! :) I’m sure you’ll get on it, just got to keep on trying. I can’t wait to see you on my TV screen.
JG: We often kept our chats to game talk and I felt like we had a really good bond and shared a similar mindset in terms of threats and allies. I was sad to see you get voted out and wish we could have played together for longer. Keep on killing it at Overwatch for me and I’ll keep on killing on Mario Kart for you :)
Raffy: Raffy! You were definitely a character from the moment we interacted right until the very end. Causing tribe drama by forfeiting that challenge was something I’ll never forget. Good luck with the rest of high school and keep enjoying those video games.
AnnMarie: Look at you causing drama with a MedEvac! Haha I’m glad to hear that you were okay. Best of luck with school and make sure to take the time to destress once in a while. You honestly won me over when I saw that you chose Michaela as your picture haha
Andreas: I’m sorry to hear about the frustration you had during the early portion of the game. It was nice to connect with another non-american player! Hopefully your job search went well and your fun interview turned out for the best!!!
Elliot: You were so great! I’m glad we shared a lot of same opinions and it was always great to get my frustration out and screaming into the void with you when needed. You were somebody I saw myself aligning with before you got voted out and that tribal really sucked.
Bryan: We never got to chat much sadly simply because we were never on the same tribe, except for the One World twist. You’re obviously a huge presence in these games which is something to be respected. It would have been cool to play alongside you and learn a bit of your skills. Hopefully see you in the next one!
Akito: We never really talked much, and I blame my busy work schedule for that, but I remember suffering through the duolingo challenge with you from beginning to end. Talking about our progress and how much we didn’t want to do it anymore. Sorry for accidentally congratulating you for getting the highest score only to immediately realize I misread the results haha
Eric A: All the way back to the original Sima tribe. I had a great time shit talking about people who spell their name as Erik over the more superior Eric. But I’m sure we weren’t bias or anything haha We never went far together but I enjoyed the time we had early on in the game,
Matt J: I’m sad that I never actually met in the game. As a first time player myself, I was excited to chat with you. I hope your early elimination won’t stop you from playing again in the future!
Becca: It was sad to see you go home first :( I hope you had a good time throughout your time in the game and hopefully we’ll actually cross paths one of these days.
Blake- ohhhhhh my god. i love you so much and everyone knows who already really won this game (you) even without the actual title! can’t believe you were done like that and if you play other survivor games (or real survivor) you’re gonna win! Tim- we didn’t talk much but i really  like how you never gave up even when you had like 0 hope. Richie- we didn’t talk much like at all but you’re obviously vvv smart and was always on the top for challenges. Dani- you really were the queen of surviving tribal council and i fully respect your gameplay and you turned into the threat pretty quick! JG- we’ve had our differences but now i really appreciate and respect you!! so glad we got these chances to talk lol! i’ll be rooting for you your next game lol!
Raffy- it was nice talking to you for the short period we did. sorry it ended so shortly but threats can’t stay threats!!!
Annmarie- idk what to say like you flipped on me and after bryan was out you were basically nonexistent Andreas- so you voted for me and that’s completely cool i feel for your awful timezone situation and how you played even with the struggle!
Elliot- i don’t think we were ever on a tribe together but i heard enough about you from blake to feel like we were tbh Bryan- …… i mean the first time didn’t work but the second time was a charm?? Akito- idk you just really tried to throw me under the bus which is kind of an awful thing to do but look who’s here now taquito Eric A- ya know this was my first attempt at trying something and it didn’t work out agdbd but rip to you i really tried
