do you possibly have some tips for clothing wrinkles??

Honestly man? I have no idea what I’m doing when I do wrinkles in clothing! In my opinion, it depends on how loose the fabric is, the texture you have in mind, the pose you have the person in (bc it affects how the fabric flows) and the body type of the person you’re drawing.

I used to add crazy amounts of wrinkles to my clothes when I drew them, and now I think it looks tacky and like everything is several sizes too small. The only thing I can really recommend is to look for references on what you want. Sorry if this doesn’t help at all, but it’s all I can do rn!

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
