at the risk of stirring up controversy… some of you are getting a little too comfortable saying “all sexuality is fluid” :/ like yeah sexuality in general is fluid, sure, of course, but some of you are really out here preaching that no one is fully gay. which is. homophobic. like you guys get that right. if what you’re saying can be boiled down to “maybe you just haven’t met the right man yet” but dressed up in woke language, that’s just straight up classic homophobia. some people are 100% gay (or straight). and if that’s incompatible with your worldview… maybe you should re-examine some things.

Katsuki: "A scene like this never happened, right?" Izuku: "There were too many scenes he wanted to put on the cover, so it ended up being an illustration of what he imagined instead. (because he couldn't decide...)"

This take pisses me off.

You wanna know why? Because it implies that Sierra's harassment of Cody was okay because she knew that Cody is trans. It sounds like this. "Hey Cody! Sorry for harassing you <3 I just knew you were transgender. It's so cool that we fell in gay love now!"

It's apart of the mentality that some people have where making things gay makes it better. No. Making Cody transfem and still putting him in a romantic relationship with Sierra ignores EVERYTHING that he went through with Sierra. Why would you want that for him? Coderra is bad. It's as simple as that. Unless this is your fanon Sierra where she is completely different from canon, coderra is still bad because of the way Sierra treats Cody.

I'm not trying to be transphobic or homophobic. God no. That's the last thing I want. I believe in the lesbian Sierra headcanon myself. You can headcanon Cody as transfem. But having Cody and Sierra still be together, after everything Cody went through with Sierra, I have to ask why? Why would you have Sierra act like that around Cody and then say that she just knew that Cody was trans the entire time and they fell in gay love. LET CODY FIGURE THAT OUT ON HIS OWN. Sierra "knowing" that Cody is trans just makes is worse. Why is she harassing Cody? Because she knows that he's trans? Because she wants him to come to realization? No! Let Cody figure that out on it own time, and let him come to terms with it on his own!

And can we PLEASE stop bringing up Cody whenever we talk about Sierra? Anon, I was on board with that take until you brought up Cody and said they fell in gay love. Why would you say that? Why would you look at World Tour, the way Sierra acted around him, how she talked about him, and then say that they fell in gay love? Just because you made it gay now doesn't mean it's better. It doesn't make it cool. You took a toxic, bad ship and then made it queer. That's all you did. You took a straight toxic relationship and then made it into a queer toxic relationship.

I'm all for lesbian Sierra. God, I had that headcanon for years at this point. But can we PLEASE not make this about Coderra. Coderra is bad for both of them. It's bad for Sierra, because it only allows her to keep acting like that around Cody, and it's bad for Cody because it excuses all the abuse and harassment he received from Sierra. Anon, if you are talking about your own fanon Sierra where she acted nothing like the way she did in canon, PLEASE make it clear. Because you sending that, it doesn't sound good. that virtualtoybox person literally told me they aren’t reading what I said and then tried to talk to me w about as much in their tags lol. i never understand people that go ‘I’m not reading all of that but you should read what I have to say” bc like. imagine how infuriated ur gonna get when that response is leveled right back at you? and judging by their tags they didn’t read past my very first line. bc they started comparing animals and animal rights to eugenics which is EXACTLY what I was saying is extremely dangerous to do. That’s exactly how people start calling things that happen to animals a ‘Holocaust’ and I’m positive such a statement is made in that book they told me to read. I’m disabled too. I know what I’m talking fucking about too. In the animal section, I for SURE know more than you do! Because if you knew and truly cared about animals and their welfare, you wouldn’t be talking like PETA. Here’s a trick to other disability activists: learn about animal welfare by volunteering on farms and educating yourself on breeders and the industry rather than getting involved in PETA! And another critical trick: NEVER compare animals to people! That’s exactly what the freaks that think any living thing with a deformity that should die are doing. These people would clutch their pearls the moment they hear farms cull undesirable animals bc they can’t afford to keep every single one and have to streamline their breeding and raising to what will help keep the farm running. That doesn’t mean these farmers want to do the same to people, because the animal is NOT a person and doesn’t live like one. Our lives are not even remotely comparable! People like OP are the people that keep a wild bird with an amputated wing alive bc in their mind it would be insinuating all amputees should die if the bird is put down, and next thing the bird is on the Dodo as inspiration porn. Duex Face is an exception to two headed animals, not the rule. Don’t tell me to do my research when you’re spouting talking points from people that have caused more problems for animals as a whole second only to the commercialization of animal industry. Maybe you need some research (field research) instead! They’re going to block me and I’m assuming that’s why I can’t rb the post anymore even if I wanted to (like I said I didn’t want to start a fight so like. I’m not going to be yelling and acting like an asshole. I swore a bit in the tags initially bc I feel very strongly about how animal rights activists have fucked up disability activism by acting like there’s equivalency in our existences, but that’s not targeted. Most was going to respond telling them that if they feel this strongly they need to be reading more about the animal industry rather than relying on people that are in no way experts on animals talking as an authority on them, and using that to tie with their human rights activism as if animals rights and humans rights are even remotely the same in any way. Whatever though at least the tags are there if anyone who cares enough actually reads them and thinks about them. Will most likely just attract militant vegans and ARAs like the op but whatever)

The ‘vote blue no matter who!’ crowd is starting to get on my nerves. Like, I’m trying not to give away the game, but do they even know that we’re playing?

The point of loudly denouncing Biden and the Democrats NOW is to threaten them into stopping a fucking genocide that’s happening NOW. It is the only (legal) way we can threaten them as their constituents. It’s a game of fucking chicken! If the Dems were legitimately concerned about ceding office to Trump, they would take action NOW to try and recapture voters. But they don’t because they think they can get away with literal genocide and still win the Oval Office because voters like you are too chicken or too paralyzed to make a simple threat.

I don’t give a fuck what you do in the ballot box come November but jfc this is about collective bargaining and you cowards can’t even pretend to give enough of a fuck about a genocide to threaten your reps like??? Grow a fucking spine and do the bare fucking minimum of voicing your solidarity.
