WOOO I'm so happy to finally have this done. I spent forever working on it, I wish I kept track but I'm pretty sure it took a month to fully finish, I've been working on it like every day for the past couple of weeks and I'm really happy to finally have it finished :D I'm really proud of the rendering/shading on this one, the text was probably difficult which is why it looks the least accurate. I didn't want to just re-render it and re-draw the human characters so I changed the designs a little bit for this, first time I've drawn any of them. I thought it'd be fun to make their desgins fit a bit closer to the cartoony art around the pizzaplex and just smaller details I find fun. (if monty is allowed to have spikes on his chest cavity i think freddy should be allowed fluff.. he looks so bald, if you count chica's feathers he's literally the only animatronic without hair LMAO) I accidentally made some colors a bit more pastel or desaturated but overall I tried to replicate the rendering as well as I can, it was really good practice for understanding lighting better and stuff. (Roxy had like, 3 different color light sources I think? Monty had the most though..) But anyway! I'm really happy I got this done so I can work on other stuff lol. I might use it for background stuff and I kept all the assets so I can edit them for pfps if i or other people want in the future. Hope you enjoyed :)

Good day! Life is the definition of stress for me lately, so i turn to Dottie x Fragile!Reader for comfort once more. I hereby present you: bathtime!
Just before i begin - NO NSFW! Only wholesomeness! Horny will automatically have their names added to test subjects volunteers list!
Reader's mysterious sickness got worse over time. Fragile body forced them staying in bed and prevented them from completing even the simplest mundane activities, such as eating or showering. But it's no fun staying in sweaty bed, is it? So, while segments are busy changing sheets, Zandik brings his beloved to bathroom.
Let's address the obvious - reader would get extra shy. It's not the first time Zandik sees them naked, taking all physical health exams into consideration. However, man is more than willing to look away and wait - he will avoid looking at the Reader if that's what they want.
Bath time feels like luxurious spa complex. Scented bath bombs? Check. Bath bubbles? Check. Soothing music playing in the background? Check. Shoulders massage? Check. Hair-washing? Check.
Speaking of the latter, Zandik's long, slim fingers rubbing shampoo into reader's hair brings them euphoria. He's so gentle with every movement, careful not to get any bubbles into his dear's eyes. Zandik also uses shampoo of his own making (perks of being the all-knowing scientist!). If Reader's hair was greasy and messy before, once the bathtime is over, you bet their locks are smooth to the touch and extra soft.
Man would make sure the Reader has been fully dried off. He'll also personally dry their hair with hair dryer (...does Teyvat have hair dryers? Idk. Assume it's something similar then.), so they don't catch cold that could further worsed their condition! Once the spa procedures are done, Zandik will have reader dressed in fresh pyjamas and wrapped in a bathrobe, cuddled in his arms - he will then carry them bride-style back to bedroom where a bed with fresh sheets and a segment with a mug of hot chocolate was waiting for them.
Cuddles and kisses afterwards are a major part of whole bathtime procedure! Must not be skipped!
BATH TIME WITH DOTTORE. <3 Your illness frequently rendered you unable to do even the simplest of activities, most importantly the basics of living. Or perhaps your mental state was not the best and you could not bring yourself or find the energy to take care of yourself. But at least you have your lovers with you to do that when you can't yourself.
No matter how many times your husband sees you nude you still get a bit anxious about it, you know he loves you. But you still can't help but look in the mirror and wonder if he notices even more imperfections than you, after all, his eyes are very observant. However every time, he patiently holds and reassures you in his own Dottore-like very, despite how many times you two have done this same routine, he doesn't seem annoyed. You're thankful.
Dottore had honestly never used or cared for such extraneous products in the bath, he never saw the point of them. He always got in and out of the shower, he never exactly relaxed in it. It was only until you started using fancy stuff like that and forcing him into it that he started to warm up to the idea of bath time also being relaxing time (something both of you really need.) And he can easily see that this is something you need right now. However, he is clueless by himself so he probably found himself at the mercy of the Damslette and Regrator much to his dismay... but, it's for you, so he can endure...
Dottore's hands are very skilled, certain areas of his work require great control over them to avoid any mistakes, so it's not surprising in itself for them to be gentle and delicate. However, what is surprising is for that gentleness to be used on another person. It wasn't easy for him at first either, he loves you but being gentle doesn't come easily or naturally for him. But he still does try and it seems that eventually, you get so lost in the feeling of his fingers massaging your scalp that you don't notice if he messes up. I imagine you'd try to return the favor too if you have the strength. Unfortunately, it gets into his eyes but he has zero reaction to it for your sake.
After the bath, you would feel so warm and fuzzy from how good it felt, but most importantly you felt that Zandik cared, which was always very important for you. Sure, he wasn't the world's most perfect lover, but you didn't care about that. All that mattered was that he tried, and that he loved you. (He invented Teyvat's first and only hair dryer. End of story.) You'd nearly fall asleep as he dries your hair, barely hanging on by the time he dresses you in something warm. But you can't fall asleep now! You have to stay awake and treasure this moment with him! It's not often opportunities like this arise with your Zandik! And you have to be awake to feel all the kisses you'll get!
(His cup of hot chocolate definitely has a little too much marshmallows in it...)

One of the fun things about ST is that even though the older stuff is not as well produced and a little undercooked sometimes, there's still a remarkable amount of artistic consistency in the soundscape aesthetics?
Like- I find that some of the early ST songs meander quite a lot and lack some focus that the songs on TPWBYT and TMBTE have, but the chords and overall vibes are remarkably similar and it's unusual, in my experience at least, for a band to know it's vibes so firmly from the very beginning?
The earliest stuff really feels more like sketches when compared to the most recent songs being rich, fully rendered oil paintings. Vessel has always had a strong artistic voice, I just think he maybe needed to heal enough to have the confidence to actually spend time on his work.

Ok so I wanna hear your thoughts on the final fight specifically. I really adored how after all this hyping up of Ultimate Kuuga’s destructive power, rather than it being something flashy and explosive, it was… down to earth. Brutal. Just two dudes punching the shit out of each other in a way that was Difficult To Watch.
The final battle of Shin Rider felt like a callback to this, honestly. Just heartwrenching impact after heartwrenching impact. It’s not big or extravagant, but instead it shows that having to fight… sucks.
Sorry, I think about this particular fight A LOT.
YEAH YEAH i completely get what you mean. your buffer worked - i didn't see this at all until i had already finished the show and compared it to that one part in black (you know, The One). i think, as i chew through everything that happened in this show, that there's more i have to say about kuuga on the whole than i've managed to render right now, mostly about how it feels like they did really manage to distill a lot of the core feelings i've gotten from showa rider into something new and interesting and fun that they could do now that it's in vogue and possible to have the episodes a little more interconnected than they were able to get away with (sans a couple areas, like the 4-episode demon world stretch in black rx) previously.
the setup to the fight really worked for me. i think it was the right choice to watch the last 3 episodes on the same night so that we could start with ichijou, just some guy, just some human guy being the one to kill... that rose lady. you know the one. the one who has been around as a boss from the start of the show and who had a couple faceoffs before with him? you know, the one who, with her dying breaths, told ichijou that she realized humans could be equals to them, capable of the same destruction that they were? that she wished she could have faced off with ichijou again? that lady.
they had been setting the grongi and at least godai up as equals for a while there - there's the obvious stuff with the back and forth "i need to get stronger!" moments but the one in specific that stood out to me was when tsubaki was doing autopsies on the bodies that they were able to recover and he was like oh shit... these guys look just like kuuga on the inside?
kamen rider has this feeling running through it, this essence of "that could have been me, but it wouldn't have been me, couldn't have been me, because i love humanity too much, but i can only say that because after experiencing this, i'm still me," which is an odd feeling to put into words, but i think it's one that many people are familiar with. to come out of something on the other side feeling worn down and miserable but victorious and look back and see other people who have been through the same or similar things to you and for whatever reason, came out the other end differently.
hongo escaping being borged before they were able to complete his brainwashing, yuki being the one picked as a scapegoat and therefore realizing that what was going on around him was wrong, shigeru just straight up being confident enough to manage to trick people into borging him, nobuhiko being chosen as the favorite son just because he was the one who stuck around for a while leaving kotaro able to make his own decisions about what is right and wrong. these are all things that each of the riders did have an active say in, but they're also a bit dependent on luck to fully and correctly pull off. and i think godai also kind of picked up on that vibe. he's both reassuring people that everything is going to be okay because he believes in himself and his love for the people around him, and he does, but he still plans for the off chance that things can go wrong by telling ichijou how to kill him should things really go to shit.
that's it think the thing i took away most from this fight. the visuals are great, the whole thing just feels raw and uncomfortable to watch, which it should! this is the reality of everything that's been going on here behind the suits. we should feel glad that kamen rider doesn't have to fight anymore once this is over. kuuga flirts with this level of reality through the show and they completely full on commit to it at the end. but i think everything leading up to it and the context of the fight really helped me to put my finger this feeling that i've been feeling through the entirety of the show.
so. there you go. those are my stream of consciousness thoughts the morning after finishing kuuga... so much more to think about later!!

A random thing is that my brain just got interested in trolls because “ooo colour” and “ trolls looks fluffy I love this animation”( when I looked at it I was like ARE TROLLS THEMSELF FLUFFY) and got fully into the characters and stuff
dreamworks makes great stuff for kids and those with the brain spicy
I KNOW RIGHT!? Like if you look at Dreamworks, a lot of their movies are amazing for a reason, especially Trolls. My friend and I were talking about this the other day, that they not only render the movie properly and let everything fit into its own little world. But like, they're moving at a reasonable pace! In the first movie, Branch and Poppy didn't get together but in the second and third movie you can see the progression of trying to understand each other and all that. And it's really cool and I just love this franchise!! Oh my god do you think that trolls are like fuzzy? At least Pop trolls, and each troll tribe has a different like hair texture or something??

RESOURCES FOR ARTISTS VOL 1
In the spirit of gratitude for the plethora of free resources out there for artists that I've been gleefully ransacking my entire life, I want to share some of them that I've compiled.
smithsonian open access: this is a HUGE one! lots of images that are absolutely free to use, as well as an incredible set of 3-D resources. Their collection spans the same breadth that their multiple museums do-- natural history, gems, fine art, aerospace/engineering stuff, etc. so do not sleep on this.

2. The League of Moveable Type is a resource for free fonts, but not just any free fonts-- professionally designed free fonts. Some of the bigger sites can be a lot of wading through sub par stuff, but every single thing here was very carefully and lovingly designed, and is free.
3. Unsplash is full of great free to use images. Seriously, huge collection. Portraits, textures, 3-D renderings, you name it and it's probably here and free to use. ALSO cool because images will note whether their creator is for hire if you like their work. You can also submit your images to this platform. (I think it has a premium section but I haven't needed to engage with it yet)

4. rawpixel's Public Domain collection. They've been high quality scanning public domain images for a while. They're free to use under a CC0 license, which is basically without restriction. They've got lots of categories, I personally love the Graphic Design and the Vintage Illustration sections.

5. Photopea is a free Photoshop alternative that runs in your browser. It's got a few quirks(especially if you run a non-chromium browser, but stay strong anyway) and is ad-supported, but really powerful and robust. It also opens PSD files, supports smart objects and basically all of the Photoshop asset filetypes(.abr .grad .pat etc), as well as has filters, even a couple that Photoshop itself has gotten rid of in their more recent versions. You can use the fonts on your machine, export transparent pngs, and do generally anything that the big guy does. You can also donate a small amount to remove ads and support the singe person(!) who created and maintains it.

6. Brusheezy.com is a great place to get free brushes, vectors, and photoshop assets in general(which can all be used in Photopea, btw).

7. dafont.com Last but not least, I will include this huge font site but assume most people already have it on their radar. Free fonts! No account needed to download! Tons of categories! Many are demo/limited versions, so pay attention especially if you plan to use numbers or special characters as those are often the things left out of the free to use demo versions. It's nice to have a lot of options but to the discerning eye a decent amount of the fully free fonts here will fall a bit short/feel unpolished. That's not to discourage you from it, as I have a huge collection of types from here and routinely check it when I need something specific.

I’m excited for the zombie descriptions

So, first of all, their eyes. The irises are white, or close to it, which makes it very unsettling when their pupils enlarge or shrink. Their pupils tend to suddenly dilate when they're about to bite someone; it's like a split-second warning. I'm gonna also say their eyes are often bloodshot (though maybe this will depend on things like diet; maybe the 78th class's eyes are bloodshot because they aren't eating human as much), rendering their irises paler than their sclera.

Second of all, their veins. The major ones are highly visible through the skin, because all of their blood vessels (in Danganronpa fashion) have turned neon pink. And blood is red in-universe, so if they've just eaten someone, for example, the blood on their face is red and their veins are an unnatural bright pink. Blood is not normally pink. But the undead do bleed bright pink. (Well, I say "bleed", but their blood doesn't really run in the same way, because the viscosity is higher than normal.) (Their tears and saliva also have a pink tint to them.) Depending on how pale the person already was, smaller blood vessels might also be very visible, but the major ones are stark for everyone. You'd swear there was bio-luminescence going on, but they do not, in fact, glow in the dark.
When they walk on two feet (which they have varying affinities for doing), they all have a somewhat slanted posture. They've all developed new habits, as far as getting from place to place.
Taka walks upright pretty much exclusively.
I'm not saying this earnestly, but I like the idea of a gimmick where Sayaka only moves when you're not looking at her. Like, she's sitting on the floor quietly singing to herself, and Makoto is just doing his own thing elsewhere in the room, and he notices at a point that she's stopped singing, so he glances over to see if she's alright, and she's sitting right next to him. Like, she's not full Weeping Angel, because she still walks to the bathhouse with everyone and eats with them and stuff, but I like her having shades of it.
Mukuro outright prefers to creep along the wall (as in, at least one hand on the wall at all times) like a lizard or crawl like a tiger rather than walk upright on just her legs.
Hiro climbs stuff and just kind of perches in high-up places so no one can jump on his back.
Chihiro crawls on people they like/trust and just generally moves kind of like a spider.
Akane still does parkour, specifically to catch prey when she breaks out. It is terrifyingly effective.
Gundham crouches behind furniture, so whether he's walking on two feet or fully crawling depends more on the height of the furniture he's moving behind than any preference on his part. His hamsters are still on his person at all times, and he doesn't consider eating them.
Mikan is a classic slow-moving, upright, slouching type when she walks, but sometimes she prefers to crawl.
Junko does any number of these, on a whim.
Their hair is still growing and still requires maintenance. Not many of them want their hair to be cut. (Taka is one of the few; he'll bring a pair of scissors to Makoto when he wants him to do that for him. It's always an imperfect haircut, since Makoto isn't really a stylist.)
Some of them still try to wear makeup, but most of them don't do a very good job applying it. Junko actually could apply it very well, but she chooses to look kind of sloppy, so people think she isn't as lucid as she is. Nagito actually helps Gundham with his makeup.

Here's some pictures of the environments I created for this render - requested by @jack-jerky. More specifically: a random Atlas HQ hallway (or at least somewhat close to resembling one) and Jack's AR chamber he's been occupying ever since Rhys decided to bring him back about 2 years after the fall of Helios.

Despite still having trouble plugging in some specific materials for the models (particularly the walls, which are actually rotated the wrong way but have been instead masked with additional models), this environment turned out better than I was expecting. Of course, there was a lot of trial and error but with each environment I make, I create some assets that are usable in other places. E.g. for my Jackothy render I made a lot of visual effects, like fog, flames, dust, etc. that I've also repurposed in this render as well as several other renders before this one. And as with most of the assets, I actually borrowed the sprites used for these effects from the BL games themselves so that they would fit right in.

When it comes to the chamber itself, I wanted to capture a very "hazy" and "unreal" feeling. After all, none of these things inside the chamber are as real as what is outside. They're somewhat of projections created from countless collections of data - honestly the closest comparison I'd make is to the VR missions in BL3. Like, you can still see and interact with stuff, there are collisions, but they're not real. Sure you could sit on top of that chair, but you can't really feel its texture and material, can't tell if it's hot or cold to the touch, or how much it weighs.

The change in lighting in, however, is done by Jack himself, who had been preparing for this particular moment for weeks on end. By this point he is fully integrated with the chamber's system, knows the ins and outs. Heck, he's even got access to the ECHOnet by now ("only" took him about a year to convince Rhys to get someone to install a driver into the system). But this is where the question comes in. Why is Rhys absolutely down throughout the whole thing? What's this thing Jack's been talking about that's making Rhys' frown a permanent feature on his face?

Considering the fact that the two have been broken up for over a year now because of an argument they can't even remember, and conveniently neither party can find another significant other (nor do they even try to... after all, they still feel an indescribable magnetic pull toward each other despite refusing to admit so), Rhys is rightly worried, and jealous, when one day Jack announces he managed to snag himself a date. However, Rhys has no idea that this is all a game to Jack, who is trying to see just how jealous he can make Rhys. If Jack's learnt anything over the years, it's that Rhys will never make the first move on him. And with Rhys' recent visits fluctuating in frequency (both because he is a busy man, and because Rhys feels no point in coming over anymore now that his and Jack's lives are not as intertwined as they used to be), Jack knows he needs to do something. And he needs to do it fast.

When Jack sees him that day, however, his entire plan to win Rhys over falls apart. The bouquet and wine he had ordered arrived early, sprawled over the coffee table like there was no thought or preparation made by Jack for his date. Not even that. Just the sight of Rhys makes him short-circuit. Every word he had meticulously planned to say disappears. Nothing else mattered to him besides Rhys. He needed Rhys. He needed him to stay. To be with him. To be his. His mind was filled with nothing but Rhys.

Remember how I mentioned Jack had been fully integrated with the chamber's system? Well, let's just say that the chamber sometimes also projects Jack's needs and desires.

I just wanted to say that your character work is so brilliant and inspiring to me right now. Your Darksouls work is such a delight!
I struggle to commit to loose sketching and tend to only produce fully rendered works with backgrounds, which stops me from being able to create the raw amount of character work you produce in a single post. It’s very inspirational, keep it up!
Thanks so much! 😊 I used to be the same myself, but I eventually figured out that personally, I get the most enjoyment from focusing more on ideas, whether they be character design or interactions between characters, than making one drawing in particular look really polished (altho make no mistake, I'm a huge perfectionist, lol. Most of my sketch dumps are like 20-30 hours worth of finagling with really tiny details I know no one will notice [but I do!!], not to mention the mountain of stuff I end up throwing away). For me, one of the most enjoyable parts of making art is the experience of studying a character throughout the course of many drawings until I really feel like I've gotten to know them, which looser drawings allow me to do, whereas whenever I was doing fully rendered works, I'd end up a lot more focused on the technical side of things than the ideas behind the piece. Which can be fun too, but isn't ultimately what I personally want to devote my time and growth to. I think there is also a kind of a pressure on artists for fully rendered works to be the 'end goal'/what you should aim to regularly produce, and more power to you if that's what you enjoy! But, IMO, a sketch can be just as much a 'finished piece' as something inked and colored, if that is the intent you go into it with. That is, at least, the state that I try to bring mine to before I post them. If you think you might enjoy working a little more loosely yourself, I highly encourage it; if nothing else, it's fun to experiment outside your comfort zone now and then :)

What I like about the Knights: Bedwyr/Bedivere
I have had brainworms about this man since I first read the scene in good old Morte when I was 14 years old where he lied about throwing Excalibur into the lake. TWICE. And he only tosses it in after Arthur straight up threatens to kill him if he tries that shit again. Iconic. As such most of my love for him stems from Malory's interpretation specifically, which is funny because this motherfucker is only in the last few chapters.
To expand a bit on him lying at the end. We don't really know WHY he didn't chuck it. We know he thinks it'd cause problems, but no specifics. Did he want to use it himself? Did he think it'd help the kingdom to keep around? Was it ultimately sentimental? Selfish or selfless? Who knows!
In the older works he pops up in, he notably doesn't have any outstandingly special powers unless you count him being really good with thrusting weapons, which I don't because A) it can be read as him just being really quick and precise (which I personally find a more interesting interpretation, hard work and skill honed over a long time is way cooler than magic), and B) he gets power-creeped hard - and even then most writers either don't know or forget he's really good with swords and spears. My mans had his thunder stolen BAD.
In fact, he was the OG Prettiest Guy Who Isn't Arthur(tm), but then more Prettiest Guys Who Aren't Arthur(tm) kept getting added. So he's, unfortunately, usually shoved into the background unless someone else (usually Kay) drags a spotlight over to him.
Sidenote, I fully believe that Bedwyr and Kay are married. But really I'm just happy any time they appear together. A lot of the time the knights don't really feel like they're even friends in the 'normal human' way instead of the 'operating under 10 layers of chivalry and posturing' way, and at the very least Kay and Bedwyr actually enjoy being around each other.
Also, this motherfucker was there FROM THE BEGINNING (both in-universe and as like... a concept (he predates Jesus by a few hundred years)) and is usually the last guy left alive. But he's never a major player in anything except chucking the sword in a lake at the end. At most he's helping Kay with something or doing his job. A job he did presumably well because he held his position as Marshall for several decades and only lost it because everybody mcfucking bit it all at once.
If you want to look through a metanarrative lens, he's cursed to witness events and never influence them, but he gets one act of agency at the very end, which he gives up out of either fear or loyalty. And his reward is that he's left alone with a flippant order from his king to do whatever he wants. A lifetime of service rendered completely null and void by the complete loss of everything and everybody that he's ever known.. A lifetime of service to a system that was ultimately the root cause of the tragedy. And goddammit that's some spicy stuff to work with.
Anyway, my grand thesis statement is this: He exists in a sweet spot where he'd be an excellent POV and can be built on without in any way upsetting preestablished characterization. He's a relatively normal guy among complete and total freaks of nature (affectionate) who manages to outlive all of them. And the few things that are relatively set-in-stone about him (Close to Kay, only has one hand, there from the beginning, chucks sword into lake) are enough of a foundation to make him really interesting. To summarize:

Hey sorry to bother you but do you have any tips on selecting colors/shading? Your art always has such beautiful pallets and shading!
oh tysm!! it's not a bother at all i love talking about this stuff lol
my tip would be to use gradient maps! that's my entire process for colour picking these days really. i'm not sure it's actually Quicker than selecting colours individually, but it sure feels that way. easier too to get a base palette to work off of imo
at its simplest my process is something like:
"colour" in the drawing in greyscale
settle on a gradient map i think looks nice
use correction layers to adjust the colours as needed (as in, i look at it and go "it looks nice, probably would look nicer if it was yellower", or whatever)
throw in some shading and or colour variation using layer modes (given how i tend to go for warm colours usually, i really like throwing blue/purple into places of shade to make it look more interesting)
decide i'm happy w/ it and render it

but if i must be fr with you most of my pieces are not this straightforward lol. most of my drawings will have at least 2 or 3 gradient maps at varying levels of opacity at play, and usually even more correction layers and so on until i get to the colours i think work best. it's really just a good and quick way to establish a base!

even if you can't fully get behind the idea of Leaving Most Everything Up To The 'Maps (short way of saying 'gradient maps') using one on top of the colours you've already used at like, a low opacity or a different layer mode can still give your drawing a bit more Pizazz, in my experience. they're fun! give it a try!
my favourite gradient map sets, and i guess the ones i'd recommend, are cb gradients 2, 3, 4, and 5

So like my last mARTch studies I picked an artist who has a style similar to what I'm aiming for. This time I'm studying @rxsiki! My main issue has been not rendering my pieces and even though I kind of know how to do it, I need to learn how to have fun doing it so I've been looking for artists whose style seems fun so maybe I can incorporate some stuff.

I started with a little warmup with these stuffed animals. This let me see that their style is a lot more loose than I originally thought and it was fun to copy that. Really makes me think I've being a little too perfectionist with my art cuz if their art can look this good and still have little mistakes, then maybe I should embrace my own mistakes a bit more. (Mistakes prob isn't even the right word but just little imperfections that are purposefully kept.)
I also made a new brush to use that's a little more variable compared to my own, so while my last mARTch study I used a brush with no line weight differences and used color to change their apparent weight, here the line weight is actually changing a lot and the line colors are more stylistic when used. It's really noticeable on a bigger piece but not so much on the stuffed animals.

I saw this pose on their art a few times so I wanted to use it cause I thought it'd be a good representation of their art. I made the character more my own instead of fully copying and then because I wanted to color pick to see what their colors were doing it ended up being a little weird to have a purpley-grey colored human.
The shading was less subtle up close than I thought and I didn't do a good job emulating their style with this one. I did more of my usual dark tone and blending one side of the shadow into the flats, but they have an in-between color and instead of blending like it looks from a distance, up close it's distinct and done well. So with this next piece, I'm gonna focus on that specifically and try what I've learned on my own character.
(And obviously no artist always has a consistent style, the intermediate color in their shading isn't present in all of their work but I still think it's cool and want to try it for myself.)

I do really like the concept of using a shading line for blending instead of actually blending the colors, even though I'm not entirely proud of this piece I am gonna use that going forward at least for a while. But I do feel like I learned some stuff and that's the main point.

I would like to draw more but I find myself overthinking it and then losing motivation. So, I was wondering if you ever had a similar issue and if so what do you do to stay motivated and not overthink?
Really good question actually!
What nipped the overthinking for me was just completely dropping the planning stage of drawing. I don't put much thought into composition, colors, etc. I don't have any solid ideas of how I want things to look before I begin. Obligatory disclaimer that this is from my perspective as a hobbyist and therefore not practical for an aspiring professional, & this is gonna sound like BS but hear me out lol
Most of the time the only things I have in mind are 1. What character(s) I want to draw and 2. A vague idea of the atmosphere I want the finished product to convey. And "finished" can mean a lot of things -- a messy sketch can be finished, a fully rendered piece I spent an entire day could be finished. A common pitfall people fall into is having an impractically rigid idea of what a "finished" drawing is and subsequently what they want their art to look like, all the bells and whistles etc, when realistically your art is never going to look exactly how it did in your head. But is that really such a bad thing?
I guess the overarching concept is to just fall in love with the process and enjoy the journey rather than the destination. This obviously sounds easier than it is in reality, but imo people focus way too hard on what they're producing rather than how and why they're producing it. Other people loving what you draw and praising it is wonderful, but if you don't enjoy the process, what was the point? Drawing (and I would venture to say most other forms of art in general) becomes a chore with that mindset applied.
A lack of planning may very well mean you wind up drawing a lot of stuff that doesn't seem interesting, maybe haphazard, difficult to parse, etc, but this is all your perception. It's cliché, but there is always going to someone out there that adores something you think looks like a dumpster fire, and that applies to the things you draw too. Over time, just doing whatever you want and enjoying the process has this trickle effect that will improve your output. In the same vein, constantly overthinking will also inevitably trickles into your output. You can often tell when someone enjoyed the process of something they drew vs when it was just a slog for them to get through (at least relative to their other works).
I would venture to say that you could spend your entire life studying and could be the most technically knowledgeable person about illustration ever in the world, but if you don't genuinely love the process, your work will never be as good as it could be if you did.
If you finish something and think it looks like shit that's always a bummer, but if you had fun with it, I think that was time worth spending. I've said this before, but most of the time I only truly dislike something I've drawn when I spent any part of the process frustrated with how it was going. It's counterintuitive, but I really think that placing so much emphasis in how you want the finished product to look is what ultimately is going to make it look like shit to you.
All that being said, once you do get past that initial overthinking phase, you can start to get more specific with planning and whatnot. The key is to just stop holding onto the idea of what you want and allowing things to develop as you go. Your art will naturally improve this way since you're actually enjoying it. To me, that's what people mean when they say they can tell something was made with love.
Side note: Let go of the need to be consistent/have a developed style. Just let yourself be inconsistent. You don't need strict consistency unless you're like an animator who needs to keep characters on-model or something. Experimenting is not only way more fun, but leads to improvement and discovering new things to implement into your process/style at large.

To answer your question- There's currently no way to find Reborn AU content because honestly, Theres VERY little content about it in general. It's not as "grand" as effigy au, cuz i have maybe like 1 mini comic on it and the rest is just either Vague fully rendered Art of TK- or shitpost concept doodles about story HC's and nonsense. The most of my reborn work is honestly only shared between a few online friends cuz it involves their oc's as well. + Reborn AU, while it is in function an LMK AU has a lot more OC influence than you would expect. To summarize, There isn't ALOT/ theres barely stuff concerning the LMK Reborn AU in any of my social media accounts, and most of it is scattered and sporadic and makes very little sense, unlike effigy AU. Will I work more on LMKReborn? Yes! however Effigy AU is sorta at the front of my brain rn, I love reborn AU, but stone monkeys go brrrrrrrrrrrr!!

(long post of me just kind of rambling)
so. lexa. right? (and also orin i guess this is about him too but i dont care about him at all sorry) she was the first fully original cel shaded skin (not counting cel shaded optional styles) it was their first real attempt at it so they looked kind of clunky and strange. which is like. understandable yeah sure. she (and orin also) come from some reality in which they are implied to be robots or cyborgs or whatever, specifically referring to someone as their “father.” its also implied lexa escaped wherever she came from and orin was sent to retrieve/rescue her. they were clearly trying to go for some kind of “anime girl thats secretly a sadistic killer robot” thing. and so their home universe is just kind of implied to be a cel shaded anime universe (similarly to other, non-original anime skins)

NOT be cel shaded. (cant find a good render that is non cel shaded but trust me it exists)
