holy. fuckin'. DAMN. I was pretty good at predicting the plot so far, but this episode proved that stampede is going in a whole new direction for real. spoilers for ep 9!!! (and manga a bit)

first of all, we still haven't got a full story of the great fall, but I think it's something they'll reveal in this season, probably during confrontation with knives. and still no scar reveal!! I'm angy but it's something that could be relevant to the standoff with knives, hope we'll get it

the piano scene... oh we're eating GOOD, it's just so wholesome but goes to confirm my theory that twins weren't completely fine on the ship. vash feeling useless because he can't do cool plant shit, knives envying vash for being good at human shit.... oh it's great

so glad knives is getting proper characterization and not just "he evil because he evil"! the fear, the hurt, the genuine care for vash, but then frustration with him – it's right there and I'm eating it up so yummy

the way they recontextualized vash's arm loss is GORGEOUS! I've seen ppl reading this scene differently, but to me it was an act of care from naï. he looks really scared for a reason: we see that the gate consumed all matter, including the hand. vash couldn't control it, so it would only grow bigger and destroy him. NAÏ REALIZED THIS AND SAVED VASH THE ONLY WAY HE COULD

he didn't want to fight him, this was not an act of anger, like in previous versions. all he cared about in that moment was saving his twin..... and what did he get in return? a gun pointed to his face. a gun he gave vash to kill human scum. oh, the DRAMA

ahem, now to the less intense stuff

homeboy has so much trauma, like, damn... how is he gonna fit any more from his impending epic brother fight...... I'm quite curious on how they're gonna characterize him in the next season. concidering that we're taking off earlier than previous versions, he might end up with the same unhinged vibe 98' vash had, as a coping mechanism (if depression didn't work, try dissociation and silliness). but then it would be even more interesting to see meryl's and wolfwood's reactions: they knew him before the accident and saw the big sad

vash has sense in the prosthetic arm, so it must've hurt when he damaged it... probably it hurts less than the real one, and it's clearly painless to take off. but the hand seems to be rather sensitive and fic writers are gonna go crazy for this

age reveal! also brad and luida being in cryosleep makes sense, I was racking my brain on how they're still alive. seems like they're using much more plant power tho... both for cryo and the vegetation, while in manga they tried to keep it as low as possible and send signals to earth

saw someone say that they're probably not doing that here because the earth is destroyed... could be that they decided to go the hard way. but in the manga the earth was still fucked, and it wasn't clear if they communicated with the ppl left on the planet or the fleet that was in some new place. what I'm saying is, there is a possibility that they are looking for help in stampede, we just don't know it yet

meryl was so cute! go off, comedy relief goofy girl, while you can, there is more trauma coming your way :3 yeah, enjoy roberto calling you by your first name... oh it would be such a shame if he gave you his derringer before his untimely death..........

pretty weird that nobody knows why they fell on no man's land, but ppl probably were too ashamed of their past and 150 years later the new generation is oblivious. also so funny that luida has to explain what vegies are..... they have so many plants but haven't see any plants

tbh I wasn't expecting the zazie twist at all, but I'm excited! they are SO gender in stampede, might be the best redesign in the series, love me a genderless bug creature with bold fashion choices. really cool to see that storyline adapted, it was barely touched upon in the last volumes of trimax

btw the multiple bullets story about a plant, worm and human who went around figuring out if their species could coexist and just.... creating this foud family and then building a town there all were equal...... that's my favorite mb story for sure

wolfwood saying "I'm not your friend"... I know what you are. and we got a "you'll have to decide one day"... oh oh the misery, but the context was lacking. it just doesn't hit the same when he isn't daring vash to shoot him in the most homoerotic way possible. on and he looks so goofy trying to ride with his cross

in the last ep's rant I assumed that luida lied about rem saving everybody for some reason?? but no, she actually saved them, I just got a bit confused

so, as I predicted, the gang separated (tho not because of vash) and by the end of the next episode vash'll be in july and meet naï. the poster, man.... that gorgeous futuristic city is getting obliterated for sure

btw vash's gate being opposite to knives and sort of a black hole is nothing new. but there are new layers to this, like vash willingly giving away energy, but destroying things against his will, and knives with the opposite of this. ying yan twins go brrrr

Summary: This story is from the perspective of Y/n Winchester. The sister Of Dean and Sam. We will be starting from season four since sadly we did not get Misha Collins as Castiel throughout the whole series. It will start off as a friendship, but it will grow more as the series goes on. I will be skipping some episodes even though they are great episodes they do not push the story forward. I am so excited to get to write this since they are not many Castiel X reader stories out there. Okay without further due Love War & Grace enjoy the Story.

Chapter Two: Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester

Y/n’s POV:

When I woke up at Bobby’s house the next morning I got up with joy and hope which had not happened in a while. I walk downstairs to Sam saying “Well, then tell me what else it could be.’’ “Look, all I know is I was not groped by an angel.” It’s sad to see him like this. “Dean I was there, Castiel showed us his wings what else could that prove. Why do you think he would lie to us about it?” I said as they look at me.” Maybe he's some kind of demon. Demons lie.” Dean said with annoyance looking back at me. Bobby steps in before we start yelling at each other. “A demon who's immune to salt rounds and devil's traps... and Ruby's knife? Dean, Lilith is scared of that thing!”.” Don't you think that if angels were real, that some hunter somewhere would have seen one... at some point... ever?”.” Yeah. we just did, Dean.” I scoff a bit telling him.

” I'm trying to come up with a theory here. Okay? Work with me.” Dean said back to us all. “Dean, we have a theory.” “Yeah, one with a little less fairy dust on it, please.” I look at him wanting to shake him.” Okay, look. I'm not saying we know for sure. I'm just saying that I think we –” Sam said trying to help the situation brewing between his two siblings.” Okay, okay. That's the point. We don't know for sure, so I'm not gonna believe that this thing is a freaking Angel of the Lord because it says so.” Why can't Dean just expect that this happened for a good reason?

“The three of you want to keep arguing religion, or do you want to come take a look at this?” Bobby tells us from his office. We all walk over quicker than usual.” I got stacks of lore -- Biblical, pre-Biblical. Some of it's in damn cuneiform. It all says an angel can snatch a soul from the pit.” Dean does not want to believe at all. “What else?’’. “What else Dean there is now proof from the lore, and you still think it might not be an angel.” I said to him flabbergasted. “Dean there is nothing that I know that could airlift your ass out of the hot box. As far as I can tell, nothing at all.” Bobby tells him.” Dean this is good news” Sam said to him with a smile.

” How?” Dean asks. “Because for once, this isn't just another round of demon crap. I mean, maybe you were saved by one of the good guys, you know?” I answered with glee in my voice. “Okay. Say it's true. Say there are angels. Then what? There's a God?” I hope he is starting to come around because my goodness he is a stubborn man. “At this point, Vegas money's on yeah.” Bobby answered. It seems like Dean still won’t let it go.

“I don't know, guys.” “Okay, look. I know you're not all choirboy about this stuff, but this is becoming less and less about faith and more and more about proof.” “Proof?’’. “Yes, proof Dean.” I replied. “Proof that there's a God out there that actually gives a crap about me personally? I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it.” “Why not?’’ Sam asked with genuine curiosity. “Because why me? If there is a God out there, why would he give a crap about me? “Dean says as he starts to spiral a bit.” I mean, I've saved some people, okay? I figured that made up for the stealing and the ditching chicks. But why do I deserve to get saved? I'm just a regular guy.” I think to myself he just does not think himself worthy, but I do.

“Apparently, you're a regular guy that's important to the man upstairs.” I told him trying to confirm to him that he is here for a reason. “Well, that creeps me out. I mean, I don't like getting singled out at birthday parties, much less by... God.’’ ‘’ Okay, well, too bad, Dean, because I think he wants you to strap on your party hat.’’ Sam told him being right.” “Fine. What do we know about angels?” Dean said, yes finally we don't have to do this stupid dance anymore. Bobby then picks up all the books dropping them like they're hot and said” Start reading.” I immediately pick up a book and start reading if angels are here, I want to know everything about them. Dean looks at the pile and turns to Sam grabbing a book “You're gonna get me some pie.” Of course, man has got to have his pie.

When I am reading Dean comes up asking a question. “Why are you so eager to believe in this stuff Y/n? I mean with the horrible stuff we've been through how do you think there's angels or even a God you never believed before.” I look at him sighing knowing that I would have to tell him sometime.

“About two months after you died, I was in shambles I was drinking every night practicing fighting with the bag every day I was killing myself in a way. Sam wouldn't answer his phone and the only other person that could help was not doing much better. So, one night drunk I prayed out to something anything that could help and tell me why this had happened again. And I felt this warm presence like it was a hand on my shoulder telling me everything would be alright. I chose to keep on praying and the hand kept on being there for me. So, the reason I want to believe so bad is that in a way it saved me from well me.”

I finish telling him almost crying. Dean looks at me and hugs me. “Well, whatever it was I'm happy it was here to look after my baby sis when I couldn't” I chuckle at his response. “Thanks, Dean,” I say with a bit of a sniffle and smile.

We just got the news about Olivia and how she was not returning Bobby's calls and start to rush to our cars. When we are coming to the junkyard the Impala comes in with Sam coming back from the food run. Bobby told Sam what was going on “Keep the engine running.” “Why? What's going on?” Sam questions. “I got a friend one state over -- Olivia Lowry. I've been trying to reach her for three days on this angel thing. It's not like her to ignore this many calls.” “Olivia Lowry -- a hunter, right?” Sam confirms back. “Yeah. We're gonna go check on her. You guys follow me.’’ Dean and I get in the Impala and Sam hands the snack bag over to Dean. “Dude?” Dean says with concern. “What?” I ask. Dean answers me with. “He forgot the pie!”

All of us enter Olivia’s house searching for her. “Olivia?” Bobby said almost yelling while walking in the house. He suddenly runs out I look over to Olivas body which is cracked open like a Thanksgiving turkey. I look around the house to see if there were any clues as to what happened. I see a white line on the ground. “Salt line.” I point out. We look all around the room there is an EMF reader on the floor.” She had her EMF reader out.”

I tell them while picking it up.” Spirit activity.” Sam confirmed back which is how, I don't know. “Yeah -- on steroids. I never seen a ghost do this to a person.” Dean tells us while looking around with interest. Bobby comes back into the room holding his phone looking panicky. “Bobby, you all, right?” I ask him with concern.

“I called some hunters nearby…” “Good, we could use some help. “I told him, thinking what was going on? “...except they ain't answering their phones either.” Of course, just our luck I knew we shouldn't have broken all those mirrors during that Bloody Mary case. “Something's up, huh?” Sam said with regard. “You think?’’ Bobby answered with sarcasm him being Bobby and all. He walked out of the house and the three of us share a look of what the in the ever-living hell was going on.

The boys come out of Jed’s house with disdain and sad looks on their faces. They wanted me to stay out here in case it was the same thing and honestly, I didn't want to see that again. “Same thing huh” I said to them while looking down They both shake their heads yes.” Better call Bobby then” I said as Dean pulled out his phone, me feeling horrible for him as he just lost so many friends at once. “We're in Jackson. It's not pretty. He looks even worse than Olivia. What about you?” “What the hell is going on here, Bobby? Why did a bunch of ghosts suddenly want to gank off-duty hunters?” “We're on our way.” Dean put his phone back in his pocket. “The rest are the same” Damn we just can't catch a break I think as we drive away.

Dean, Sam, and I stop at a gas station I need to use the bathroom and baby needs fuel. After I am done washing my hands, I feel a chill in the air, and I can see my breath. I look up in the mirror there standing is a ghost not just any ghost it’s Henriksen the person who helped us from before. “Henriksen. Are you -- Did you…’’ I said terrified not because it was a ghost but because he should be at rest. ‘’I am so sorry if we had known that Lilith was coming –.” I said backing up a bit as he got closer. “You wouldn't have left half a dozen innocent people in that police station to die in your place. You guys did this to me. It was your fault. She was after you guys, and I paid the price. You three left us there to die!”

He said with anger and grabbed me and threw me around like a rag doll. He then picks me up and throws me against the mirror but this time I notice a small brand on his hand. He throws me against the sink so hard a piece breaks off he picks it up and is about to throw it on my head. That's when my brothers kick in the door Dean shoots at him and Sam comes in to help me up.

Dean is speeding to Bobby’s house while I am trying to keep my head up in case, I had a concussion. “Damn it, Bobby! Pick up!” Dean said with anger and concern while looking at me. “How you feeling, huh? How many fingers am I holding up?” Dean said while talking to me. “32” I say half joking.

“Y/n this not the time for jokes’’ “Oh come on it was a little funny.” I said trying to lighten the mood. “I'll be fine guys… Hopefully.’’ They both look at me with are you serious looks. “Henriksen? “Sam said confirming that he really was the ghost. ‘’ Why? What did he want?”. “Maybe revenge because we got him killed.” I say matter-of-factly. “y/n“ Dean said to me with a sorry look in his eyes. “She’s right Dean we did”. “All right. Stop right there. Whatever the hell is going on, it's happening to us now, okay? I can't get ahold of Bobby, so if you guys are not thinking answers, don't think at all.” Dean said speeding a little more.

The three of us enter Bobby’s house carefully but are ready to shoot anything that comes our way. “Bobby?” I asked out loud with fear and concern. I see the iron fire poker on the ground which is not a good sign. “We will go. You check outside.” Dean said to Sam. Then Dean gestures for him and me to go upstairs. “Bobby?” I opened the door slowly to see no one in there. Dean being Dean said, “Come out, come out, whoever you are.” I then get that same cold feeling that someone was there with us. I turn around to see Meg but not with blond hair but with brown hair no makeup no revealing clothes she had worn. She looks like a typical college girl a girl who looks like I would be friends with. “Dean Winchester. Still so bossy. You don't recognize me?” Meg said to him sounding almost kind. “Meg?” Dean answered back with the same reaction I had with Henriksen.” Hi. It's okay, I'm not a demon.” Meg said as if we were having a normal conversation.

“You're the girl the demon possessed.” I said to her feeling horrible for what had happened. “Meg Masters. Nice to finally talk to you when I'm not, you know, choking on my own blood. It's okay. Seriously, I'm just a college girl. Sorry -- was. I was walking home one night and got jumped by all this smoke. Next thing you know, I'm a prisoner... in here. Now, I was awake. I had to watch while she murdered people.” She said to us while pointing to her head and recapping the episode of which when she had no control of her own body.

“I'm sorry.” Dean said to her being genuine. “Oh, yeah? So sorry you had me thrown off a building?” She said getting angry. “Well, we thought –” Dean said back trying to defend our actions. “No, you didn't think! I kept waiting, praying! I was trapped in there screaming at you! "Just help me, please!" You're supposed to help people, Dean. Why didn't you help me?” She starts to get closer to us. ‘’I'm sorry.” Dean said again trying to make do for what we had done. “Stop saying you're sorry!” Meg said while slapping him to the ground.

“Dean!” I said trying to get to him. Meg looks at me.

“And little Y/n Winchester you know I'm not much older than you we could have been friends why couldn't you help me!? I understand why because you can't think for yourself because you know your brothers are the real hunters. You're just the annoying sibling they let tag along.” Meg said as she flung me to the wall and keeps me there with her ghost energy. I try not to cry out being more hurt because of what happened with Henriksen.

“Don't worry I'll finish you off but first your brother.” Meg said while walking back to Dean with intent. “We didn't know.” Dean said while looking up to her trying again. “No... You just attacked. Did you ever think there was a girl in here? No. You just charged in, slashing and burning. You think you're some kind of hero?” “ No, I don't.” Dean answered back feeling like he had failed again. “You're damn right. Do you have any idea what it's like to be ridden for months by pure evil... while your family has no idea what happened to you?”. “ We did the best we could.” Meg kicked and shoved him again.

“It wasn't just me, Dean. I had a sister. A little sister. She worshipped me. You know how little siblings are, right? How they'll do anything for you. She was never the same after I disappeared. She just... she just got lost. And when my body was lying in the morgue beat-up and broken…” Meg said telling us what happened with her family and Dean knowing exactly how that was. “Meg” Dean still trying to reason with her spirit.” Do you know what that did to her? She killed herself! Because of you, Dean! Because all you were thinking about was your family, your revenge, and your demons! 50 words of Latin a little sooner, and I'd still be alive. My baby sister would still be alive. That blood is on your hands, Dean! Now your little sister is going to feel what my sister had to go through before I kill her nice and slow.” Meg said kicking him again.

I have to get out of this before Meg makes me watch my nightmare come true again. I break thru and aim my gun at the chandelier above where Meg was standing and had kicked Dean over. Dean sees this and distracts Meg by bringing his own gun and aims it at her. “Come on, Dean, did your brain get french-fried in Hell? You can't shoot me with bullets.” Meg said to Dean like he was a four-year-old. ’’I'm not shooting you.” Dean said while nodding at me. I shoot at the chandelier, and it comes down at Meg fast. “Iron.

All of us are now in Bobby’s office trying to recover from the ghost match. “So, they're all people we know?” Sam said, questioning why this was happening. Dean replied with another question.

“Not just know. People we couldn't save. Hey, I saw something on Meg. Did she have a tattoo when she was alive?”. “I don't think so.” Sam replied. “It was like a-a mark on her hand -- almost like a brand.” Dean said to us trying to figure out what this was. “ A brand, I saw one on Henriksen too while he was roundhousing me.” I answered while holding my head. “What did it look like?” Bobby asked.

Sam took out a piece of paper and started to sketch the brand. He holds it up for us to see. “That's it.” I said confirming it. Bobby takes one look “I may have seen this before. We got to move.” Bobby said to us and starts to walk somewhere. “Where?” I question where he brings us down to this room covered in iron and devil's traps. “Bobby, is this…” I said in awe. “Solid iron. Completely coated in salt. 100% ghost-proof.” Bobby said sounding proud. “You built a panic room?” Sam said with a little disbelief at how amazing this man was. “I had a weekend off.” Of course, he would he’s Bobby Singer. “Bobby you're awesome.” I said while looking around the room.

We are making salt rounds in the ghost room going as fast as we could.” See, this is why I can't get behind God.” Oh lord, here we go again no pun needed. “What are you talking about?” Sam questioned hearing his brother. “If he doesn't exist, fine. Bad crap happens to good people. That's how it is. There's no rhyme or reason -- just random, horrible, evil -- I get it, okay. I can roll with that. But if he is out there, what's wrong with him? Where the hell is he while all these decent people are getting torn to shreds? How does he live with himself? You know, why doesn't he help?” I am just going to keep my opinion to myself, so we don't start a fight again.

“I ain't touching this one with at 10-foot pole.” Sam responded. Bobby comes back into the room. “Found it. The symbol you saw -- the brand on the ghosts…” Bobby puts down a book. “Mark of the Witness.” Witness? Witness to what?” I question. “The unnatural. None of them died what you'd call ordinary deaths. See, these ghosts -- they were forced to rise. They woke up in agony. They were like rabid dogs. It ain't their fault. Someone rose them... on purpose.” “Who would do that to them they've already suffered enough.” “Whoever it was used a spell so powerful it left a mark, a brand on their souls. Whoever did this had big plans. It's called "the rising of the witnesses." “It figures into an ancient prophecy.” “Wait, wait. What -- what book is that prophecy from?” Dean questioned with concern. “Well, the widely distributed version's just for tourists, you know. But long story short -- Revelations. This is a sign, guys.” “A sign for what? “I ask sacred. Bobby unfortunately answers me “The apocalypse.”

“Apocalypse? The apocalypse, apocalypse? The four horsemen, pestilence, $5-a-gallon-gas apocalypse?” Dean asked just to be sure he heard Bobby right. “That's the one. The rise of the witnesses is a -- a mile marker.” “Okay, so, what do we do now?” I asked getting ready for another match with the all-stars.”Road trip. Grand Canyon, Star Trek Experience. Bunny Ranch.” Dean said being somewhat serious.

“First things first. How about we survive our friends out there?” Bobby said with sarcasm. ��Great. Any ideas aside from staying in this room until Judgment Day?” “It's a spell to send the witnesses back to rest. Should work.” “Great what do we need.” I said trying to get this thing over with. “If I translate it correctly. I think I got everything we need here at the house.” Bobby answered me. “Any chance you got everything we need here in this room?” Dean asked with hope. “So, you thought our luck was gonna start now all of a sudden? Spell's got to be cast over an open fire.” Bobby answered I Had no idea we even had luck.

“The fireplace in the library.” I said realizing we would have to leave the safe room. “Bingo.” “That's just not as appealing as a, uh, ghost-proof panic room, you know?” Dean said and I agree with him. “well if we die I'll still annoy you in the afterlife about that.” I said trying to be funny they all look like they want to shoot me. “Cover each other. And aim careful. Don't run out of ammo until I'm done, or they'll shred you. Ready?” Bobby said preparing us “Got it so we run out were dead perfect” I said under my breath as we leave the room.

The four of us head upstairs and we see a man sitting there oh no. “Hey, Dean. You remember me?” Said Ronald who died just because he knew us. “Ronald, huh? With the laser eyes? I wish I could say it's good to see you.” Dean said trying to joke with the man that got killed because of us I pull him to me.” Uh Dean not the time use your “charm’’ “. “I am dead because of you. You were supposed to help me!” Ronald said getting up as if he was going to attack. Bobby shoots him. “If you're gonna shoot, shoot. Don't talk.’’

We all run into the living room to start the ritual. “Upstairs, linen closet -- red hex box. It'll be heavy.” Bobby said to Sam pointing him upstairs as I was making a salt line. Two ghost girls show up. "Bobby.” They said as I shoot them away.” What is this the shining!?”. “Kitchen. Cutlery drawer. It's got a false bottom. Hemlock, opium, wormwood.” Bobby commands Dean. We both look at Bobby “Opium?”. I stay in the line to protect Bobby as he was drawing the chalk. “Bobby. You walked right by us while that monster ate us all up. You could have saved us.” The girls said as they keep on repeating. I shoot them again. “Yeah yeah, can't you just keep to your movie.’’

The boys come rushing in with the rest of the ingredients. Ronald appears again.” Ronald. Hey, come on, man. I thought we were pals.” “That's when I was breathing. Now I'm gonna eat you alive.” “Well...come on, I'm not a cheeseburger.” Dean said as he cocked the gun, but Ronald disappeared again. Bobby is starting the spell and reciting Latin the windows open, and the salt line gets blown away. They keep on showing up Bobby keeps ongoing. Henkrison shows up I hit him with an iron rod. Meg shows up and pushes me against the wall with the desk.

“Y/n! “The boys shout. “Cover Bobby!’’ I shout back as I try to push the desk off. Bobby tosses the stuff in a bowl.” Dean! Fireplace” Bobby shouts throwing him the bowl. He throws it in and all the ghosts disappear. I am suddenly able to move the desk like nothing. We go to help Bobby up. “Bobby you good?’’ He shakes his head yes. “Okay great we didn't die who wants to celebrate with a beer or maybe a whole case.” I said they all laugh at me yes and finally got them.

My brothers and I decided to sleep in the same room in case any more ghosts showed up. Then I felt that warm presence again I look up from where I was sleeping and see Castiel standing in the kitchen looking like he needs to say something. I get up and walk over. “Great job on the witnesses.” He said while not really looking at me. “You knew.” I questioned. “I was, uh, made aware.” He said a little awkwardly.

“Well I think we could have used your help I almost got turned into a ghosts board game. Why didn't you help?” I asked.” We had some other issues that had to be taken care of.” “Oh” I said a little sad by his answer. “There are bigger things coming’’. “what things?” I asked with concern. “The rising of the witnesses is one of the 66 seals.” “I'm guessing those are nothing fun like I want them to be.” “ Those seals are being broken by Lilith.”

“That makes sense she rose them as monster victims so they would come right for us. “Mm-hmm. “Yeah, well if you're going be around for a while it's easier than saying Castiel all the time” “Yes well, I better take my leave.” He's about to take off but I stop him to ask him something I needed to know. “Wait Cas. “Yes Y/n.” When I prayed for the first time, I felt this presence that would feel like it would put their hand on my shoulder and would be there every time, was that you?” I asked him hoping he would say yes. “yes, that was me.” I want to cry.” Thank you”. “You do not have to thank me I was just doing my duties as an angel.” “It might have been a regular job for you but for me, you were one of the only things that were there for me when I needed someone so thank you.” He looks at me with those kind blue eyes. “you're welcome, Y/n, goodnight’’ He flies off. “Good night, Cas.”

I woke up the next morning feeling like I had just talked to a friend for the first time in a long time. “You all, right? What's wrong, Dean?” Sam asked Dean and I look at him, “So... You guys got no problem believing in... God and Angels?” After the conversion I had last night, there was no doubt now. “No, not really.” Sam answers. "So, I guess that means that you guys believe in the Devil.” Dean asked with a little bit of fear. “Why are you asking us all this?” Sam questions and leaves me to wonder what Cas and Dean had talked about.

[Spoilers for The Creator 2023]

I'm not generally a huge fan of plots that go 'the anti-robot person is on a journey to become less racist' for a variety of reasons, mainly being that at this point I've seen so many bad attempts at it that I don't have a ton of trust.

The Creator was an interesting case because... it kind of took a lot of tropes that I generally hate, but then polished them enough that although I still hate the tropes, there was genuinely a solid story throughout it all.

I still don't buy the idea of Joshua actually being able to get back together with Maya in a happy family kind of ending. But then, the movie didn't buy it either, because although it was Joshua's fantasy, it... isn't actually what happened.

Sure, a version did? He saw a robot version of Maya with his wife's memories and they embraced and kissed and were happy to see each other. This was also a version of his wife who'd been in a coma for five years, potentially heard his whole confession of regretting everything and apologizing and probably saying everything she wished she could've heard and lived out. Then she wakes up out of her coma and she has no idea where she is, except she's probably definitely on a ship that's about to crash and burn, and she's gonna die, and then she sees her former husband at the end of the world in this bizarre heaven/hell where they're the only thing either of them has left? Does she even know she's alive, and that she has minutes to live, at minimum from the chip in her brain giving out? Did she notice she was an android, is part of her disorientation about that on top of everything?

Yeah, I could buy her embracing the former father of her former child in that moment. I don't think I could buy her having an easy time dealing with 'ok, I swear I'm not allied to the americans and their anti-robot policy' Part 2 Electric Boogaloo (because they did that before once already) in a longer term where they actually had to consider trying to make a new life together without some major trust issues, but this wasn't that. This was a desperate grab for them to hold onto something at the end of the world.

(None of this even starts examining the part where his actions are what led to the destruction of Maya, which the movie still definitely includes. He betrayed her, and she's injured to the point of being trapped in a coma that only death can free her from. Yes, what's left of her embraces him at the end, but... she never recovers.)

Outside of that... I have more thoughts, including what felt like a move where the robot side rescued Alphie and Joshua after Joshua helps them defend her from the american forces. Like--on the one hand, enemy-of-my-enemy and all that, but on the other, Joshua had literally kidnapped Alphie out from under them before as soon as it was safe, and he was STILL needing Alphie to find Maya! If their confidence in him was half born because Alphie was too injured to be moved, then I probably missed that part, because what jumped out at me was a sense of him getting trust that was unearned. (What if he'd tried to run off with her even while she was hurt, and his earlier defense of her was only so that she wasn't completely destroyed?)

From there I feel like there's a question of 'sometimes even risky people need to be given shelter and safety and trust to be able to finish their personal journey', and that this movie is showing a case where yes, that was part of Joshua's story. The question of 'would I personally make the choice to trust someone who has REPEATEDLY betrayed us with high stakes and devastating results' is very different to 'is this the story being told, and was it an emotionally coherent story'. I feel like it was coherent, particularly given how they had it all play out. The harm of Joshua's actions is shown, partly through the lens of the cruelty of the people he kept company with and partly through the direct lens of how cruel and dehumanising he was to Alphie and other androids. He ultimately was in a unique position to be able to bring Alphie on the mission that the robots wanted in the first place, even if they'd expected it to happen much much later, and he did it, even at huge expense to himself. He even managed to get Alphie out!

I guess what I'm saying is I have Complicated Emotions about the movie, and it felt like it was bullseyeing multiple tropes that I normally strongly dislike, but doing them in ways that.... weren't as bad as they could've been?

Robo-racist goes on a journey and becomes a little less racist. (Played straight, but at least they were thorough in explaining how robots were never the heart of what actually killed his parents in the first place, and this robot child remembered and internalized everything he said to her, and the racists he was allied with weren't just Individuals With Bad Experiences but rather were systematically cruel with total monsters interspersed.)

Dude is horrible to his romantic other and the problems get swept aside. (They were, but... also kind of not? She never recovers from his betrayal in a physical sense, even with the temporary android twist at the end. Everything he talked to his coma-wife about was based on his own understandings and views of what he did wrong, which was still flawed, and he only had a few minutes to try, but he also did say everything he could think of in the time that he had, and we see his later actions definitely do reflect a change.)

Redemption through death. (Death is the conclusion of his journey, but arguably his redemption comes from keeping Alphie alive, bringing her to the spaceship, helping her take down the ship, then getting her out of there. He gets the reward of his wife at the end, which, eeeh, but she seemed happy to see him too, whatever tangle of stuff is going on inside herself as well.)

Anyway... good movie, imo. Fantastic graphics. I have a completely separate tangent about them someday, but that's a later thing.

Umineko: Episode 1 // Review & Thoughts

I was initially NOT going to do this since I played Episode 1 long ago last year, but since I'm doing this from episode 3 to 8, might as well have these.

I have daily logs with my reading sessions' reactions and thoughts, but I'll try to find my highlights and summarize everything!

CW: Murder (duh, it's a murder mystery); ableism + dysfunctional/abusive family talk

P.S.: There are youtube previews but they break inside my blog's theme, so they won't look as good, but I refuse not to show them, hmph!

This Episode was definitely more of an introduction, even though we seem to get introduced to new concepts, characters and even plot points with each chapter—just like with Higurashi. They do have the same author, after all.

One of the most common complaint I hear from folks about this episode is that it's too much of a slog at the beginning and while I can understand people's issues with pacing in general, I disagree. Maybe I just read too fast and am used to slow pacing, but I feel like people are just too used to having everything quickly presented to them without having to wait at all.

I see this same complaint with Higurashi and I gotta say: it's exactly BECAUSE it's not scary and mysterious from the bat, that when it does become crazy, you feel it. And it's gradual, even at that stage. You can see that as you go further: so far, this is the tamest episode yet and each ones outdoes the previous.

Anyway: I really enjoyed this as a first episode. It truly felt like an Agatha Christie and then it went 180 on it, just like I was expecting from Ryuukishi.

The incest jokes are fortunately short and quick to end, and I get why they'd bother so many people looking for a serious story, but at the same time I feel like people made too much of a ruckus over it. Battler is a horny teen and hasn't seen his family in 6 years; while that doesn't excuse him being a creep, this is clearly meant to be a funny scene and not be taken seriously. You can either laugh it off, roll your eyes or just ignore it, not drop the VN altogether—though if you can't take some tasteless jokes, you wouldn't last the entire ride for how long it is (lol)

I really like how similar yet so different the MCs from Higurashi and Umineko are. While they are both lovable perverts, Keiichi is quick to paranoia and doubting his friends; meanwhile, Battler shows a strong resolve to never doubt his family to the very end. ...This might age poorly depending on future episodes.

PLOT

Honestly, the score doesn't matter that much to me anymore. Especially not when I've read further and have been therefore corrupted with more exciting scenes.

This might be the less out-there scenario, and I appreciate it for what it is. This is basically Ryuukishi saying "hold on to your seats, this is gonna be crazy, but for now, just take it all in and get ready."

On the other hand, the family drama got INTENSE. Eva being voiced by Takano's VA makes so much sense, her being so sly and scheming. Poor Natsuhi, she's a bit too serious for her own good, but Eva is just a bully T^T

The scene where the first twilight happens is too much of a banger!!! I was not to control my emotions: I didn't know whether to dance or to grieve/be shocked. Ugh. But I'll talk more about it in my Soundtrack part.

Also, I just fucking love all the subtle (and not so subtle) references to Higurashi. It's really lovely to see a connection to one of my favorite VNs ever.

And those are my thoughts for the plot itself! I'll be talking about other aspects of the game after, but before, we still have the Tea Party and ??? chapters to talk about!

I knew beforehand there would be something akin to the All-Cast Review Session (from Higurashi) but it certainly surprised me. I was expecting a 20-minute read and I got 2 hours of reading AND a direct connection to the main plot??? Bonkers.

Plus, Battler was so badass the whole time, even if I called him an idiot a few times before this.

Oh yeah, and he was a bit of a savage at times LOL

CHARACTERS

Since this is the introduction, most characters are still very barebones compared to how far they've come where I currently am. HOWEVER! Ryuukishi is a fucking madlad writing characters.

Everyone feels like their own person with their own faults and liking points. Hell, he plays you like a puppet whose strings have been cut masterfully, shaping your opinion of certain characters just for that illusion to be broken along with our tame expectations of them.

Ushiromiya Battler

My cutie patotie, my little meow meow.

He started off a big incestuous weirdo but he's more mature than he shows, being all considerate for people around him and never being malicious. I love him.

Oh yeah, the whiplash I got from hearing Akasaka's voice is no joke-

Ushiromiya Rudolf

He's a dork and not a great father, it seems. I like his character but I know I wouldn't stand him irl. Though to be fair, I would be more like Maria—but we'll get there in a sec.

Ushiromiya Kyrie

MY WIFEEEE 🛐🛐🛐

I just love Kyrie no matter the episode. She's badass, reliable, but always mysterious. I never thought those "cool" mysterious characters were all that until I met her.

Ushiromiya Eva

MY QUEEN, SLAY 💅🏻✨ Jokes aside, she's a fucking great character. She might have a venomous tongue and be very shitty at times, but that's what makes her her.

Ushiromiya Hideyoshi

Hideyoshi is my utmost "can do no wrong" pick. What a wholesome and cute husband, especially to someone like Eva. God have mercy on this man.

Ushiromiya George

George is another cutie patotie, but he makes me a bit suspicious. I don't know, while Battler is just a pure-hearted goofball, George seems a bit more formal, more intentional with his behaviour and acting. Maybe it's just the glasses... Probably.

I gotta say though, some of the phrasing in his scenes with Shannon (or Sayo, I guess) are uuuuhm... I'd call this a red flag. Unless they were both into it, I guess lmao

Ushiromiya Krauss

I still remember my first impression of him:

He doesn't stand out particularly in this episode, so I won't make any comments. He does remind me of one of my uncles. As I said: insufferable.

Ushiromiya Natsuhi

So far (currently on episode 3), this is her episode. Maybe we'll get further character development (I hope so!) but for now, this a Natsuhi-centered episode. She starts off rather traditional and even cruel to servants, but she quickly earned my respect as the leader of the group, when the murders start happening.

Kinzo acknowledging Natsuhi as an Ushiromiya made me tear up 🥺💗

So many queens in this game 👑

Ushiromiya Jessica

I find Jessica a bit lame as a character. Maybe I'm just an adult, but her whole teen drama felt a bit too much. I mean, I get it; hell, it could even be envy... My own mother is mostly a Natsuhi-type and I can relate to Jessica's feeling, but I have grown up more contained—afraid— than her, let's just say. (Growing up autistic + ADHDer and undiagnosed with a overworked mother who now rejects my official diagnosis does things to you lol)

Ushiromiya Rosa

Rosa started as one of my favorite characters. As the younger sibling to a Eva-type of sister, I could relate to her struggles so much. That is, until you see how she is as a mother. I can still sympathize with her own individual struggles and I don't suddenly hate her because she isn't perfect, but again, as someone who grew up undiagnosed and was the "weird thing" that freaked everyone out and shamed my mother for exisiting, Rosa's behavior towards Maria was hard to watch.

Ushiromiya Maria

I will say: Maria's behavior is a bit weird when the occult is involved, but I daydreamed my whole family would die in a traffic accident at 11 so I'd be free of them—who am I to judge?

I could relate SO MUCH to Maria. I swear to God, Maria is so autistic-coded it hurts: ecolalia (the "uu"s, even if it's also supposed to be a moe? trait lol), lack of facial expressions, special interests (occult, Beatrice), not understanding jokes (even if she is a child)…

She's just like me fr. Her meltdown over the Rose reminds me so much of my own childhood, even if I don't remember much. Beatrice should just adopt her, heh.

Also, pretty sure Maria is the one writing these character profiles.

Ushiromiya Kinzo

OOOOOOH BEATORICHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Nothing much to say, he's painful to listen to. I mean, I guess that's intentional so hey, the VA did a wonderful job!

I think this is how my family must feel as I shut myself in my room all day long, only leaving to walk the dog and eating lol

Shannon

As of this episode, Shannon isn't given much spotlight. I'll be commenting more next episode!

For now, she's my little cutie patotie (3)

Kanon

I didn't love Kanon at first, but he’s just a teenage boy, it’s understandable. I still don't love him, but he's grown on me.

Genji

Genji is an interesting character. I don't remember much from him during the first episode, but I basically saw him as the reliable type.

I wouldn't be too surprised if there were any Kinzo x Genji fanart, not that I ship them

Kumasawa

Ah yes, the only able to outdo Battler in the pervert lines.

Kumasawa is a fine supporting character, but we don't see much from her. I mean, there are some things about her during episode 3, but not really? I can't explain without spoiling, so I'll complain more when I get to it.

Nanjo

Nanjo's cute mustache my beloved. That's all.

Gohda

Gohda might be the funniest character, actually. The fact that he is just a random dude caught in the whole mystery is so funny to me.

Other than that, I absolutely hated Gohda this episode. He gets a bit less insufferable for the next episodes, but maybe it's just me sympathizing for the poor guy just trying to do his job.

Atmosphere & Soundtrack

FUCK. I LOVE BEING ABLE TO HEAR.

Seriously, what a divine soundtrack. Especially the ones by zts.

I'm kind of sad I don't know what else to say, but I'll just leave this video here. It's what made me pick up Umineko once and for all:

Ooooh I almost forgot about the Voice Acting, so I'll include it here. I LOVED IT. A lot of VAs from Higurashi came back so it's always fun to notice these little things. It makes the drama much better too.

Art

I've chosen the PS3 sprites. Yes, I know: heathen behavior. But personally, I love them. I know that compared to the OG art, they may not be as expressive, but I just enjoy them a lot more. I've grown to appreciate Ryuukishi's art a lot more as I played Higurashi, don't worry.

The Pachinko version, on the other hand, is fucking awful. Say what you will, I just can't swallow it down.

Writing

I know Ryuukishi's forte isn't his prose, but it's actually not bad at all!

I don't have anything in particular to comment on, so I'll make this one short. Great writing, even if a bit convoluted at times.

Mechanics & Gameplay

This is a weird section, as Umineko doesn't even have choices, let alone "gameplay", but hear me out: I'm playing with the mods.

The visual and sound rain effects, the lip sync, the overall visual effects... chef's kiss! I doubt my enjoyment would be so great without these. Call me spoiled, but they are truly amazing.

Final Thoughts

Phew, I wrote a lot!

Umineko is not an unknown work for those into visual novels so I don't think I have to particularly recommend it, but I am absolutely loving it. No wonder people praise it so much.

My final score for this episode is a solid 8.5/10, aka 4 stars!!

If you want to have an idea whether this is for you, don't drop it until the first murder happens, please! It's considered to have a slow start, so take that into consideration. If you're a fast reader like me, you'll get there in no time!

For reference, the first episode took me around 15~17h to finish, a length somewhat close to Higurashi's Episode 1. Episode 3 and 4 are said to be the longest ones and they average a total of 30h, but when you get there, you'll be hopefully fully immersed. I certainly am, at least!

Well then, I'll be writing my thoughts on Episode 2 soon! Look forward to it~

Hi so I was thinking about PB I wanted to vent with you - specifically about how SK reportedly killed Grace because he ‘didn’t know how to write a happy Tommy,’ which is just??? So spectacularly lazy??? Just because they were married didn’t mean they had to be happy - there were so many interesting avenues for conflict, like Grace coming into her own power as a mob wife, conflict with Polly, etc. but nope! Instead we get the fridged wife trope. Will never not make me angry. And then that’s she’s only used as a plot device/hallucination, and never brought up again after s5.

I had the same conversation about it a few months ago with @explosionsintheskyy. And I must admit I changed my mind.

Back then I was too naïve stupid to believe that SK values love above all else and actually believes in the great power of love, that it can save Tommy and drag him out of his pit. Grace's death and SK's explanation "it would make him happy and Tommy wasn't meant to be happy" lulled me for some more time. Yes, she is that much important that's why he had to kill her off. It speaks for itself, doesn't it? And maybe it would've worked if I hadn't seen the 6th season. Maybe if the show had ended with the scene of Tommy's suicide attempt and had an open ending, maybe then I would've been more satisfied and less disgruntled. Maybe. But I've seen s6 and I didn't like it at all. Fiddly little details such as Grace, such as Michael got in the way of the plot. OF COURSE Tommy survives because he has to save the world from the fascists and another war (BIG SPOILER ALERT STEVEN HE WON'T SUCCEED DID YOU THINK WE DON'T KNOW?!!). So the plot is getting more and more boring with every minute. Maybe it would've been better with Hellen in it, but alas :( We have what we have. Anyway, Tommy's suicidal attempts because of his late wife are long forgotten. "Still. This never happened. They were never here. Who cares? " (you're damn right, Moss).

After THAT I could no longer turn a blind eye to the problem. Why in the hell I was thinking that Tommy is supposed to save Grace from that first IRA guy from the Black Swan? My view was awfully fucking distorted! This is the point in my story where I started questioning the plot. Because the meaning of their love has been dragged through the mud. *takes her pink heart-shaped glasses off*

This is only a preamble, sorry! 😅

I have only few super tiny complaints about s1, so let's start with the second. I remember that I just couldn't shake the feeling that Grace is on the back burner now. It was so ooc that she got married some rich guy and left all her ambitions behind and what's more important, she had to get pregnant to stay in the show, because what else is she needed for? To be his partner in fucking everything? Nah, it's boring. One of the most important characters now has only two episodes. Ok, move on. She's gonna marry Tommy. This is amazing! Grace and the Shelbys! Will Ada find out about Freddie? Will Grace talk to Polly about Campbell? Did Tommy tell her about the business with Churchill? What about Clive? I'm so excited! Wait a minute... Clive killed himself and we will never know why? Ada isn't angry with Grace at all? It was necessary to ruin their wedding day? How did Arthur and Linda met? DID GRACE JUST CLOSE HER EYES ON TOMMY'S BUSINESS (literally!) AND SHE'S NOT CURIOUS? LIKE, AT ALL??!! She's not gonna sing to Charlie? Maybe just hold him in her arms, no? Do you mean she's just someone's humble trophy wife now? Ok, THAT woman is not Grace. It all looks like she's was killed on the platform in 1.06, metaphorically, ofc.

I demand an explanation from Mr. Knight. Why the fuck did you bother to establish every detail about her and her relationship with Tommy so carefully to throw it into the dustbin later? Why did you bother to write her at all? I sound like a broken record, I know, but s1 is so perfect (this post is about the initial idea), that's why I can't understand what happened. Why did she stop being interesting to you Steven? She's a retired operative, a bloody spy for fuck's sake! She killed two men. What about "I'm from tough family too"? Doesn't it seem interesting to explore? Useless in espionage! So let's make this carefree luxury wife dead because one man needs more pain and meaning for his DEVELOPMENT. Isn't it a trope, SK? The one from the Godfather, you know? THAT boring one.

So yes, now I think this is just his shitty lazy writing. He got it from someone's ass, like he made Tommy give the love of his life a sapphire from someone's vagina. The only thing I'm thankful for is Cillian's acting skills, because without them we wouldn't be so sure that he still treats her like she's his everything.

P.S. I read the theory that in the past SK has been dumped by a very beautiful blonde, so that's why he killed Grace off. Or maybe it's the fame and the confidence in his own genius that went to his head. I dunno. In that case he should've had co-writers to have other opinions and should've listened to the fans too. The problem is he's too in love with Cillian and not enough with the other actors. One positive thing that I can see in pb is that love is still the most powerful thing in the world. And the absence of it is ruinous.

My Cabinet of Curiosities episode ranking

Ok, I know I couldn't be later to the damn party but I gotta do this. Spoiler alert. Also you can critique me or add something but be chill m'kay?

8. Lot 36

I felt like it was giving me nothing. I knew what was gonna happen to the guy(it was justified but boring). The monster design was interesting but that's about it

7. Graveyard Rats

No, I'm not going by the og ep order if you're wondering. I felt like this is Lot 36's twin. The protagonist is a bad person and is pushed further into his misdeeds by crippling amounts of debt, he does something incredibly fucking dumb and then gets killed off. The slight difference here is that it's unclear if the protagonist would be as shitty as he is without the debt. Honestly, I only put it higher than Lot 36 because of the aesthetic.

6. Dreams in the Witch House

I'm not gonna lie, I wish I had something to say but I don't. I just felt kinda confused after the episode. I probably would have put it at 8 if I've read the original story and seen how they failed it. But I haven't, so I didn't have any expectations either. And because of that it was slightly more interesting for me. Umm, idk, show the gif?

5. The Viewing

Oh I am mad mad that this got rated higher than The Outside. Don't get me wrong, aesthetically it's really on a whole other level. The music, colors, dialogues. But it led to right about... nothing? Maybe I'm missing something but there seems to be not much to the message and the monster at the end is really basic for all the hype that was built up. And while I did put this at 5, know that I was disappointed as fuck.

4. Pickman's model

Now, as much as I love the ship I also read the original story after watching this episode. I can see why so many people were disappointed. The point was to show the horror of discovering that the monsters you could only dream of are real not those monsters coming for your family, which is pretty basic imo. I feel like more thought should've been put in the drawings because so much focus was on them. Some of them were good, but the witch painting was meh, and half the episode was dedicated to it. The dynamic between Thurber and Pickman hard-carried tho and the horror is less underwhelming than The Viewing.

3. The Murmuring

Can't talk shit about it because this was the episode that scared me the most. I liked the emotional aspect to the story. Husband was bugging me out, but idk if that's because of my biases or not, he seemed like a fine charachter. Wished they utilized the birds more tho. Also someone pointed out that this is really similar to Babadook(the main actress is also the same person lmao) and as someone who watched a lot of reviews of Babadook(so many to the point I was confused if I watched the movie or not) I see the resemblance.

2. The Outside

While the commentary on beauty standards and social conformity is nothing new I still love it. I completely understand where the character was coming from. I loved the main couple more than I did in The Murmuring. And in the end our main girl doesn't get some out of the blue karmic punishment. I wasn't really scared, but I was starting to be a bit unsettled by her when her transformation started.

1. The Autopsy

I can't complain, I was fully entertained, a bit scared, I loved the villain and I could empathize with the main hero like I could in The Outside. The autopsy parts itself are pretty unsettling, and pretty sad if you know that the human whose body the alien occupied is still there and is feeling all the pain. The villain was imo playful which made it fun for me(however, you might as well keep your mouth shut if you know that you revealing stuff like this can get your race clapped). And the ending is satisfying, especially because it took a sacrifice on the main hero's part

Just watched Across the Spiderverse! That was amazing! Now I can stop avoiding spoilers like the plague!

Definitely gonna want to watch that again soon. There was a lot to take in, and a combination of a late show and a poor sleep schedule left me less than 100% awake, sadly. Not that I mind an excuse to see it nore than once! Gonna love that when I wake up.

Loved the combination of all the animation styles for the different universes.

Since I've had to dodge spoilers left and right, let me put more of my tired thoughts below the cut, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. They're probably not gonna be in chronological order, but whatever.

- Renaissance Vulture had such a cool animation style. Loved him. Want to see more of the DaVinci notes style animation. That's awesome.

- The Spot is just... *chef's kiss.* He's the perfect blend of goofy joke villain and genuinely terrifying. And he looks like he's a living scetch covered in ink blots, which was such a cool design.

- "Being Spider-Man is easy!" The confidence of this man is unreal. Pavitr is in for a rough time and he has no idea. He does not seem to realize how badly the universe wants to kick him in the nuts because of his new job. Once it stops collapsing like a whiney 3 year old because it didn't get to murder a cop. That's still a thing that never got fully resolved. Hope that works out at some point.

- Peter B. is such a proud dad. Mayday is adorable. Him showing baby pics to everyone with a pair of eyes and trying to get Miles to hold his little bundle of joy was the most wholesome thing. Probably shouldn't be taking your baby to somewhere like that, but she seemed happy. And adorable.

- If all these Spider-Men are just... hanging out in the Spider Society, are they just leaving their universe without its Spider-Man? How is that not causing problems? How often do they have to go home? Gwen says she's been gone for months... and clearly didn't want to go back.

- Spider-Punk was... a lot. Loved him, but honestly had a hard time keeping track of everything during his introduction. There was just a lot going on on there, so my overtired brain had trouble taking it all in. One of the reasons I want to see it again. His whole visual effect was super cool, but... again, want to take it all in when I'm more awake. Think I read somewhere that he overthrew the government? Anyways, loved his vibe, but his colage-like effects did a number on my brain. Hobie seems cool.

- Miguel seems a little... not okay. He looked like he was gonna just straight-up EAT the Vulture instead of sending him home. And he keeps blaming Miles for starting everything, as if he CHOSE to get biten by that spider. Love him, even if he's seemingly starting to lose it.

I just found out there was a post credits scene with him in the first movie when I was trying to double check everyone's names. How did I not know this? He seemed a lot more well-ajusted there. Or at least less crazy. Taking that much weight onto his shoulders must have done quite the number on him.

- Canon Events leave me with so many questions. Since her dad is still alive, Gwen clearly hasn't had the whole "police capitan dies saving a child" event yet, and if he's gonna quit... does that mean that event won't happen? Is that enough to keep him safe? Is she gonna get close to the new captain and have them die? Is her dad still gonna die? Did she just accidentally skip that Canon Event, dooming her entire universe? Or is it not that big a deal?

- How much of the damage we saw was done by Miles saving the captain and not by the Spot? It looked more like the Spot's portals than it did glitchy multiverse rules. Or did Miles just amplify what was already there? If the Spot WASN'T messing everything up, would the damage have been nearly as bad?

- Wait, if the Spot was an anomaly, then how was that a Canon Event? Was something else supposed to happen? Or does the universe just take whatever excuse it can get to force these things to happen and throw a hissy fit if something stops it from happening?

- If Earth 42 doesn't have a Spider-Man, it can't have Canon Events. How is it still in one piece? Is having a Spider-Man created by a spider from that universe enough to keep it together? Or did Miles' dad dying happen as a Canon Event dispite the lack of a Spider-Man to screw with?

- If there wasn't supposed to be two Spider-Men in his universe, and the original Peter died, why does Miles still get forced into Canon Events? I feel like most of the questions I'm asking are either answered with a simple "because that's how the plot works", or it's gonna be super relivent in the next movie. I like overthinking stuff, it helps me sleep!

- Speaking of overthinking stuff to help me sleep, I'm gonna go do that. I'll probably update this with more thoughts in the morning, but its already a miracle I'm still awake.

obligatory forgotten land ramble post

GOD. mind if i ramble about kirby and the forgotten lands ending. because holY SHIT. i know i beat the game like in march when the game came out but that doesnt matter. in this essay i will

incoming ramble, plus obvious katfl spoilers lol

now let me just say, i came into this game thinking that maybe the ending would be less insane, yknow, cause new game, new beginning n stuff, may wanna take it easy a little, NOPE. not at ALL WHAT HAPPENS. and honestly? i am sO glad they took this route dude.

during the lab discovera elevator scene i was literally trembling, just.. i KNEW this id-f86 creature was gonna be some horrific eldrich abomination we were gonna have to fight and i was TERRIFIED. like, the genuine terror they created in this scene is fucking immaculate. and the jaunty happy little elevator remix of the main theme just adds to it, just makes the scene all the more unsettling, and i fucking loved every last second of it.

then when i walk into the ominous glowing door i am greeted with THIS son of a bitch:

this thing struck genuine fear into my heart and what made this even SCARIER for me was because I didn't see that elfilin was safely locked away in another container right next to forgo, so i thought this thing was a horribly mutated fucked up elfilin. yeah

honestly i kind of wondered what it would be like if that were the case, because the idea of the cute happy little big eared creature you've spent most of your adventure with being mutated into this fetus-like abomination would have been absolutely HORRIFYING.

oh yeah, and about that! WHY DID HAL PUT A LITERAL FETUS IN THEIR GAME HOLY SHIT

honestly ive found fetus imagery in a horror context is just. YES. so good. i LOVE kirby's horror side just as much as the cute cuddly happy side, best of both worlds, but i digress

side note: unpopular opinion but leon's battle theme actually SLAPS its seriously underrated and for what

anyways back on track, i LOVE the emotion leongar's voice actor put into his voice clips, like he genuinely sounds like hes in EXTREME amounts of pain with his attacks, especially in the first phase, and. AUGHGHGH THIS GAME /POS

oh yeah. none of this fucking COMPARES to the cutscene after all this. and just. the fact that forgo is so angry with you it doesnt even care about its plan anymore. it just wants to kill kirby at that point. so it talks THROUGH LEONS BODY (i headcanon this wasn't even leongar's voice, it was just flat out forgo's voice) and just. the way forgo talks is also terrifying like. holy fuck

and the DETAIL they put into its eyes, it really just adds to it all, like it looks so realistic and horrifying. i know kirby games get dark, i've been a longtime fan but holy SHIT this entire ending is comparable to zero ripping its fucking eye out.

oh and the flesh wall. ooooOOOOOOHOHOOOOOOHOO BOY DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE FLESH WALL.

call me a piss baby all you want, but this was the first time a kirby game EVER made me feel GENUINE fear

like. the more you look at it the more terrifying it gets, and just. the two tongues it has, the heads of all the enemies you've encountered throughout the game, just. GOD yes

OH YEAH!!! AND HERE'S A FUN LITTLE DETAIL I HAVEN'T SEEN TOO MANY PEOPLE TALK ABOUT

at some point during the forgo chase theme, there's a segment where you can hear a series of terrified animal yelps. thats right. fucking ANIMAL yelps. the creatures absorbed by forgo aren't just dead! THEY ARE STILL ALIVE AND ARE TERRIFIED AND ARE PROBABLY IN HORRIFIC AMOUNTS OF PAIN. HOLY FUCK HAL ARE YALL OKAY OVER THERE

honestly, i'm NOT complaining about what we got at all, but dude, just iMAGINE how much scarier this could have been. imagine if there were alarms n shit setting off because forgo escaped, and the pre-recorded voice of the tour lady echoing through the hallway, and if it touches you, youll die instantly or if the boss was just harder, just. GOD i love this ending so much

imagine for when we see the concept art for forgotten land, GOD i cant wait for hal to drop the concept art for it to see if they had any even more horrifying ideas

im tired its like 8 am im gonna wrap this very long post up and ill write a sequel to it sometime lmao

Hey anon! This is a really good question!

So short answer: No, you're not a fake fan.

Long answer is more or less that but with more detail.

In my opinion, if you like something enough that you'd consider yourself a fan, then you're a fan. There's no requirement on what you need to watch/read/consume of the franchise to be one; you just are.(And if I'm gonna be completely real with you- I don't like the whole "poser/fake fan" logic some have- it just reeks of Gatekeeping behavior and that's something I simply can't get behind.)

Like- take me for example; I would consider myself a fan of My Hero Academia, I've only seen the anime. Same with Jojo- I've watched all the way up to part 5 but not part 6, and I haven't picked up the manga. None of these things make me a fake fan, and only watching one season of Demon Slayer doesn't make you one either. You are a fan, and your way of consuming said series is valid. If anyone tells you otherwise, tell them to mind their own business.

So yeah, I hope this answered your question! If you do choose to carry on with Demon Slayer, I highly recommend it! It's so good, both the show and the manga! I hope it brings you lots of joy the way it did me and many other fans of the series! (And er- tears. This will probably make you cry at some point. I ugly cried like- five times reading it akjlerjarjkeajrk)

Ashdkgjfjjdhdg more unsolicited rant about odyssey that im just gonna compile into a post below: (day 4 & 5 spoiler)

1. 🥺🥺 oh it wasnt your fault peepaw*...... why do i want to cry every time this man appears 😭😭 give him a breakkkkkk

(*i learned that this is an alternative word for grandpa in English and haven't shut up since. How did people invent such affectionate yet absolutely hilarious term????)

2. Hollyberry's far from perfect but i've got to say she's probably the most put-together Ancient at this point 😔 and she's such a good friend to boot 🥺 maybe having a (probably) functional family will do that to you?

3. See, Dark Choco raised an excellent point: currently the only force that can keep the Licorice Sea monsters at bay is him and his kingdom, provided that he has his Soul Jam to fall back on. With his Soul Jam gone (temporarily only according to Sussy Cream, but who knows), all it takes is one slip-up for Dark Enchantress to know about this and send her goons to f things up all over again. And of course, one other excellent reason not to give the Soul Jams up:

4. Yeah!!!! For all we know that guy may as well be playing a long con to effortlessly steal all the Ancient power for himself!!! I don't really see him as belonging to Dark Enchantress' side (you know she has really strict dressing code: no non-goth allowed), but this dude clearly has ulterior motives, whether it be his own agenda or something omitted from the opening's Republic meeting. It also doesn't help that both Hollyberry Cookie and Madeleine Cookie (confirmed cinnamon rolls, too pure, too good for this world, also double as living moral compass) seem to react ....weirdly? to him in all of their interactions, as if something is off with this man... But anyways, this is either very obvious foreshadowing, or a red herring that everyone knows about already, so i won't dive too deep into it. (Says person who's just written a passage about it and made multiple rage posts already)

5. I cant screenshot it in time to get the full picture 😔 but omg the young Ancients 🥺. It's interesting to note that while they all have different (simpler, not quite as regal yet) attires on to indicate their youth at the time, Pure Vanilla and Hollyberry actually don't change much. PV probably because of his whole hibernation thingy, and Hollyberry because of her Soul Jam (although she actually gives off a grandma-esque vibe), but as I've said before, my man Dark Choco really be aging through sheer will 😔.

(And his own son being exiled, the impending doom that is the Licorice Sea looming above his kingdom, and how said kingdom was slowly crumbling because he refused to communicate with his subjects and chose the greater good (that only he knew about) over the lesser, and the fact that his court was full of treacherous/nonchalant officials who have grown suspicious of his intents for a while now...

Well that was depressing. No wonder Dark Cacao looks like he hasn't slept in 10 years. ...At least he's not balding?)

And one more interesting thing, is that while it's understandable that White Lily sat a bit further away from our known trio, implying her mysterious and almost reclusive nature even among the group, as well as foreshadowing how "detached" from the Ancients she would become in the future, Golden Cheese Cookie was actually the furthest away. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but if it is, then we can only assume that Golden Cheese's relationship with other Ancients is probably much less close than what we've seen demonstrated. Actually i should make a different post about this because i suddenly have so many things to say 😔

"Would it be a good game if it wasn't harri potta?" "Yes, and it's even better because of it".

So I decided to be fair and look up reviews for the game. Because honestly, I have not heard a single thing about the game ever since it came out. And I mean it. I somehow even avoided all the *tragic spoilers!*. It is weird if a game is good and manages to slip under your radar as a gamer, ya know? I am not interested in souls games per se, but I never manage to avoid souls like releases. Lies of P seems like a wonderful piece (if you ignore the mandatory aspect of parrying). Lords of the Fallen seems like repackaging of the previous video game vomit but in new, somehowly even less optimised, game. And yet JKTerfling Video Game Legacy managed to make exactly 0 noise.

Now, putting aside game related issues is a bit of a challenge, because when compared to normal bloke, I do occasionally pass mirrors and I'd like to be able to look myself in the face sometimes, but fine. These reviews are not actually that staggering. I mean, you can easily go to aforementioned Lies of P or Lords of the Fallen (2) and read about how it is a terrible and groundbreaking souls like respectively; which kinda clues you in who is actually doing the reviewing. Because you're not convincing *me* that a dark souls fan, of all people, decided to positively review, Lords of the Fallen of all games. And Lies of the P does make sense to gather negative attention. Because players who, may or may not have finished highschool, have exactly 0 idea what constitutes to plagiarism; and they see extraordinary entry into the genre as nothing more as Bloodborn rip off.

You see, after watching few episodes of the gameplay, I would not be able to tell you what makes new wizardling game so investing if you're not, in fact, potterhead or whatever. And I say that as I played and liked a lot the third entry of potter into the gaming, to this day, I fondly remember gathering all the cards. And the reviews does poor job at making me think otherwise, despite, reading the mostly positive ones that exist on blacklisted game.

Most commonly postulated issues are; fightings seem repetetive, the things you can brew are limited, there are no consequences for (in world) bad actions, plot isn't particularly enticing and the main hero is just Mary Sue. From good things I've seen; there are over 50 cats you can pet, the game is visually stunning, supposedly run smoothly (not from what I've seen but pop off kings and queens) and few more things I cannot quite recall right now.

I just wanna mention that; you can pet 5 (I think?) unique cats in Pentiment and they're stylised for 16th century illumination, so manage your expectations, if you think I'm gonna be impressed by bigger number when the quality is falling.

And this still doesn't explain how Hogwart's Legacy managed to slip under the radar for so long. I hear about dozen games I couldn't not care for daily. But somehowly not this one. Now, one of the excuse might be "big bad bully lgbtqai+ community has silenced me and my favourite game of the year whee!", which is like, a good point in the vacuum or 6th grade debate class. The funny thing about 'silencing the hogwarts legacy' is that if anything it made more buzz. I can see that by how many reviews (positive! no less) are stating that somebody doesn't affiliate with potterheads or isn't aware of why game causes so much buzz. But if that doesn't sound convincing enough, I would go with just critical thinking. There is a lot of buzz about the game, so it will resurface more easily, whether or not public involves themselves about the controversy. And still JKTerfling creation managed to stay perfectly hidden from any praise. Impressive.

Anyway, I liked that one reviews who managed to mentioned books that are not related plotwise, but glorified the way they're written. 'I hate to be that person, but the books are objectively badly written, and I sincerely hope you'll grab something that was written by somebody with better technical skill and who uses thesaurus, at least sometimes.' - Perseus offered.

Anyway, life is too short for bad games and no breakfast.

i finally finished succession and am now planning to talk too much about it

i was going to post about shiv first because i have so many feelings about her arc and i think people get her character so wrong, but i’m going to need to break it into like 80 different posts, so let’s do roman first

spoilers under the cut

i feel like i haven’t seen a lot of people talking about roman, and that’s kind of understandable since the final drama was more or less ken vs. shiv. but… i wanna talk about him! so it’s time for me to be the change i want to see in the world.

let’s start with him picking the president. the few little stirrings about him i saw online did have to do with this—he’s a fascist, etc. i think that might be a little reductive, though. yeah, he’s a fool-ass little monster, and he makes a ton of racist, sexist, homophobic, anythingist anythingphobic jokes. but realistically… he’s pretty apolitical as a character, and he only says shit to piss other people off. we get a few glimpses of genuine fashy stuff from him, but i don’t see that as the ultimate reason he crowns mencken. i think he crowns mencken because he goes off the ledge from apolitical into totally nihilist. i think this exchange shows it the best:

KEN You know, one of those fucking guys pushed my daughter. ROMAN (taken aback) Uh, she’s okay? KEN If we do this… people… people are gonna say shit. ROMAN Yeah. We’ll be in the West Wing. Nothing matters, Ken. Nothing fucking matters. Dad’s dead, and the country’s just a big pussy waiting to get fucked.

roman both exhibits concern for his niece (arguably more concern than ken did when he first heard about the incident), and says that the reason he wants mencken to win is because “nothing fucking matters”, because “dad’s dead”. this doesn’t read like he’s feeling victorious, or righteous. this reads like someone who’s decided to commit suicide by car crash, and doesn’t care that the car they’re crashing contains the entire country. this is borne out by his choice to go out into the protest: his attempts at picking a fight are halfhearted at best, and seem entirely focused on getting someone to hurt him.

speaking of getting someone to hurt him… i wish we got a little more time with his storyline with gerri in the final season. i don’t want to romanticize their relationship, but it does seem like she cares about him (she tries to groom him for the ceo position even after he’s inappropriate with her), and i think he cares about her.

a lot of discussion i’ve seen online glosses over two points that i think are very important: one, he didn’t just lose his dad that day, but also his relationship with gerri; and two, he thinks the voicemail he left for his dad might have been the thing that killed him. this is the voicemail that is maybe the first time he tried to stand up for himself in the show; the voicemail that is maybe the most empathetic thing we see him do insofar as he is angry on not only his behalf, but also gerri’s. she does, somehow, bring out better parts of him. she does, somehow, seem to know what he needs. he doesn’t feel comfortable unless he’s getting hurt. (side note, because i can’t not talk about shiv, this feels very related to what she says to tom:

I think I've always just been scared in relationships of, uh… the underneaths. You know, what's the worst thing a person thinks? But we know… Once you've said and done the worst things, you're kind of free. I guess my question is: are you interested in a real relationship?

their dad mixed love and pain, and now they don’t feel right unless the person they’re with also hurts them. 🤷) so yeah, he’s the most fucked up after their dad dies, because that’s not his only major loss: he also lost someone who’d chosen to ally themselves with him, despite him doing his worst. again, i do not want to romanticize how he treats her especially, but her choosing to teach him despite everything he puts her through is probably the closest thing we see to love on the show. her refusal to go along with their plan in italy only confirms this for me: instead of doing what he wants her to do, she does what’s good for him and tells him no, and asks, essentially, what’s in it for her. it might seem cruel on the surface, but that’s, like, lesson number one for being a ceo/dealmaker: you have to convince people by showing people that your deal is in their best interests.

in addition to those two points, i do think that rome is in some ways the softest of the siblings? i think we don’t see a lot of examples of kindness between them. way back in s2, though, we see roman go pick up kendall when he’s freshly relapsed for no real benefit to himself. so maybe he is just less of a psychopath than his siblings and that’s why he got so choked up at the funeral! who knows.

anyway, roman’s a horrible, fucked-up little man. he’s not a good person! no one in succession is a good person! but he’s an interesting character and i hope i can find more discussion of him online.

I didn't follow the group from season 1 but I was into THE9 the girl group that debuted from season 2. Actually I see some resemblance between CXK and Sunghoon, Sunghoon is my son <3

I don't mind waves and curls I like them, but my hair is so frizzy 😭

Btw hair, I knew something was up with Hwa's and he confirmed he cut it slightly, I'm glad he likes it, he said it's similar to Answer era, but I dislike the mushroom style especially when they straighten his hair and cover the forehead dhsijdjsyehshs fluffy Hwa only </3 I was so mad at the Answer era styling... Seonghwa looks cute ofc, but I was so happy his har got longer, rip.

I watched 2 episodes so far and I enjoy it, it's messy and the FL is interesting, the actress is killing it. I can't say I 100% like her, because she's questionable, but I understand why she's this way. Not to spoil but her and In Yeop's characters have more history and ugh I like their chemistry and his character is a baby boy baby I need to protect, but I'm not sure how to feel about their upcoming romance ksudidjbdjsbsusis my guy is a simp.

CRUSH AT THE PREMIER

Scarlett Johansson x reader

SCARLETT P.O.V.

I'm driving to a caffe down the street to meet up with my longest time best friend (y/n) and as usual I forgot my phone, why everytime I have to meet with (y/n) I get so nervous and forget even my name? Well maybe it is because I have a major crush on her since, how can I say it, well forever probably is the word I'm searching for.

Waking up from my thoughts I park the car and rush to the enter where I see (y/n) impatiently checking her phone.

(Y/N): Where the hell were you? I called you something like five times I thought you were dead!

She says hugging me, I chuckle nervously and hug her back.

SCARLETT: I may or may not have forgotten my phone at home, but anyway is nice to see you too miss finesse.

(Y/N): Oh come on Scarly don't turn into a good girl now.

I blush at this statement and try to hide it laughing and pushing her throward the door.

SCARLETT: Take that fine ass of yours inside I need for my coffee.

(Y/N): Yes ma'am!

We sit at a table and we start talking about what happened in the past month since we didnt have much time to hang up cause we have been super busy with work. I told her everything I could about what happened on the set of Avengers Endgame: funny story, some bloopers and some spoilers as well, but nothing too big since neither I know whats going on in that movie, yep Marvel is very good at keeping secrets.

(Y/N): When is the premier Scarly?

SCARLETT: Tomorrow night and actually I wanted to ask you something about that

My hands got sweaty and I started to panic. What if she says no or she finds out I'm in love with her? Scarlett Ingrid Johansson, you take a breath and ask your best friend and crush to go to the premier with you whether you want it or not! I probably get lost in my thoughts for a while since (y/n/n) is waving her hand in front of my face.

(Y/N): Hellooo? Land to Scarlett, are you here?

SCARLETT: Yeah, sorry I...I zoned out for a sec.

(Y/N): I noticed. Scarly now please answer me sincerely, are you ok?

I frowned at her question.

(Y/N): Don't look at me with that face, you can fool anyone but not me. You've been weird since you arrived today, then you want to ask me something and zone out. This is not you, whats going on?

I take a deep breath trying to gain time.

SCARLETT: Im fine (y/n/n), just a little bit stressed for the premier tomorrow. You know it'll be the first time I'll be there alone and I guess this is stressing me out

(Y/N): Awww don't worry Scarly you'll be amazing as always.- she says taking my hands in hers smiling at me- You're the strongest woman I've ever met and I'm sure that walking on a red carpet alone is not gonna break you down.

I blush at her words and lower my head shaking it a bit.

SCARLETT: The problem is not standing alone on the red carpet, the problem is the presss questions and the scandal that not having a partner for this event is gonna create.

Her smile dropped. She understands what I mean and she knows how much I got stressed when the press spread fake gossip about me.

(Y/N): Well I'm sure we can find someone inclined to accompany you or...

I raised my head at her or and saw the fear and embarrassment on her face. I dont know what happened to me at that moment, but suddenly I felt super confident and the words came out of my mind without me noticing.

SCARLETT: Or you can come with me as my date.

My eyes widened as soon as I realized what I said and I started to panic even more. I try to focus on the bright side of this thing but right now I can't care less about the fact that I practically confessed to my crush, I'm too scared of her reaction. My train of thoughts and paranoia stop rushing when I hear (y/n) laughing.

(Y/N): Your face is sooo funny! Seems like youve seen a ghost!

I try to force out a laugh but it dies in my throat before it can even get out of my mouth so I limit myself at smiling.

(Y/N): You know I wasn't thinking about me when I proposed another option right Scarly?

I nod sadly.

(Y/N): I was thinking about that Colin Jost... But if you want me to be there with you I'll cancel my date night with my couch and Netflix and come with you!

SCARLETT: Really?

My eyes lit up when she agreed to come to the premier as my date. I was so excited and happy as if a burden had been lifted from my shoulder. I jump out of my seat and hug her tight.

SCARLETT: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

(Y/N): Yeah, but don't get too excited I'll only do that in order to see the movie before anyone else.

I stop hugging her and go back to my seat putting on a childish pout and faking to be offended by her statement.

SCARLETT: For what you said you'll have to choose the dress on your own and come to pick me up tomorrow at 5pm.

(Y/N): No no no no. I was joking, girl, chill down! I obviously agreed to come cause youre my best friend and I don't want to let you go alone.- she said scratching the back of her head in facking embarasmen- Now please help me pick a dress!

I burst out laughing at her begging and she joined me soon.

SCARLETT: Ok (y/n/n) well go pick a dress now, but please learn how to plead cause you suck!

We get out of the caffe laughing and wondering about what will happen tomorrow night like two girls going nuts the day before the prom.

TIME SKIP TO THE RED CARPET

I'm walking side by side with (y/n) down the red carpet and I've never felt more powerful in my whole life. For the first time I'm standing in front of the press, journalist, photographer and I don't care about what they're saying and what they'll say tomorrow.

Down the path we stop for some photos and interviews. And I noticed (y/n) tensing and shaking when people ask her questions. Without thinking too much about it I hold her hand rubbing my thumb over the back of it trying to calm her down.

SCARLETT: If it's too much for you I can take you inside the theatre and come back out here alone.- I whisper in her ear.

(Y/N): No it's ok, I'm a little bit overwhelmed but I'll be fine. Just can you hold my hand?

SCARLETT: Sure thing hon, everything for you.

I see her blushing and that makes me smile.

We are now in the theatre and the movies have been going for a while already when I realize that the scene of Natasha's sacrifice is coming up. I shift in my seat trying to get comfortable and ease the stress. I know this scene would come, I mean I shoot it, but it's sad anyway cause after I played Natasha Romanoff for 10 years I can say that she is part of me now.

As soon as the Widow jumps down the cliff the theatre is filled with gasp and sob. Every member of the cast looked at me shocked since no one except Jeremy knew that. Robert, who was sitting at my left lean near me.

ROBERT: You hide it to us for all this time?

SCARLETT: Feige's order.

I hear a sob coming from the person at my right, so I turn around to see (y/n) crying in her seat. That view makes my heart clench, she is so beautiful and precious even with tears rolling down her cheek. I stare at her for a while before she notices and grabs my hand holding it tight in search of comfort. When our hands touch I feel my stomach flutter and my heart skip a beat, we stare at each other's eyes and without realizing we both start to lean in closer without breaking eye contact. My heart was beating so fast and my mind was wandering freely imagining how could (y/n) lips would feel against mine.

Our magic moment was interrupted by a flash coming from the screen we woke up from our state of trance and back off blushing in embarrassment.

TIME SKIP TO EVANSS PARTY

(Y/N) P.O.V.

Me and Scarly are at a party hosted by the one and only Chris Evans. I've lost Scarlett in the crowd so I make my way to go get another drink. If I have to be totally honest I lost count of how many shots I've had, but drinking helps me forget about the problem and right now I have a big problem to take off my mind.

I still can't believe that me and Scarlet had almost kissed each other early in the theatre, but most importantly I can't believe I want it to happen again! She is my best friend and I shouldn't have those thoughts about her. I shouldn't wish to kiss her, but here I am.

The night went on with Scarlett chatting with her cast members and me drinking shot after shot till I practically passed out on someone which at the moment I don't remember the name, my head hurt too much for thinking. I slurred an "I'm sorry" while trying to get back on my feet.

BRIE: Here let me help, youre too drunk to stand alone.- she said while helping me stand still.

(Y/N): I'm not - hiccup- that dwunk -hiccup.

BRIE: Yeah and I'm a member of the Queen.

I stare at her for a while.

(Y/N): Ohhh, that's why you seemed familiar!

BRIE: Ermmm ok. Are you here with someone?

I pointed to Scarlet who was talking to some girl and that view made me jealous. She is mine! The girl member of the Queen walked me to Scarlett and whispered something to her. After that my bestie excused herself from the girl she was talking to and rushed to me. We walked out the house where the party was going on in silence and got in the car where I passed out.

I wake up at Scarlett shaking me violently.

SCARLET: We are here but I need you awake I can't pick you up with this stupid heels.

I nodded and focused my attention on keeping my eyes open. Scarlet helped me get out of the car and walk to the door where she made me lean against the wall while she searched for the key. We finally got inside the house, I threw my purse on the floor and leaned on a table falling asleep.

SCARLETT: No that's not the bed hun come on, we have to take you upstairs then you can sleep I promise.

She struggles at makinkin me stit up since I'm not cooperating much, but I'm too tired to move or even think. I look at Scarlett and notice that she is standing between my legs while Im still sitting over the table. In this way I was way more taller than her so I managed to look at her and notice how embarrassed and frustrated she is right now. I lost myself in her beautiful eyes for the second time in a day and before I even noticed we were leaning in eachother again.

SCARLETT: Fuck this!

Her lips crushed on mine in a very passionate and loving kiss which I gladly responded to. Its amazing, our lips complete each other like two pieces of the same puzzle. I lost myself in those kisses and I didn't even notice that Scarlett had picked me up and she is trying to walk to the staircase without interrupting our magical kiss.

Eventually our lips came apart and as if nothing happened she took me up to a room and put me to bed pecking my lips before I passed out definitely.

TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT MORNING

I stir and roll in the bed trying to remember what happened last night. I wake up and look around noticing that this is NOT my room. I sit up quickly causing my head to hurt and I notice a glass of water with some pills near it and a post-it on the nightstand. I pick the note and read it:

"I got you some pills and water, they'll help with your hangover. There are some of my clothes on the chair put them on then come downstairs I'm doing pancakes

-Scarly❤"

I start to get dressed trying to recall at my mind what happened after the party when something hit me. ME AND SCARLETT KISSED!

I fall on the floor tripping over the bed sheet, I stand up again and start going downstairs rubbing my sore back. When I entered the kitchen I saw Scarly focused on not burning the pancake. I walked behind her, slid my hand around her waist, hugging her and kissing her cheek.

(Y/N): Morning love.

SCARLETT: Look who decided to wake up!- she said kissing my lips- How are you feeling?

(Y/N): Me good, my ass not much since I fell on the floor.

We burst laughing and sit at the table starting to eat breakfast without the need to talk about what happened last night cause both of us know that we wanted it for a long time.
