Human, Environmental and Wildlife Impacts Of Wildfires For the Future. - Videos of Lytton, BC Fire from ProPics Canada Media Ltd. 2021 All Rights Reserved Several years have passed and the impacts of the fire are still very clear on the surface but what are the long term impacts to people, local culture, environment and wildlife habitat? We have yet to see signs of a community being rebuilt. This has displaced families with generations of history in the region. Toxic particulates traveled to other areas far from the epicenter of the fires which end up on land and in waterways. Wildlife habitats were destroyed forcing wildlife to also evacuate the immediate area throwing the natural balance of the areas animals out of whack. The long term impacts of the pollutants, potential toxins and chemicals released into the ground and soil may have long term impacts on the remaining animals feeding in polluted foliage and vegetation. This is not only a concern in Lytton, British Columbia but of concern as wildfires have been getting more devastating each year around the globe. yo,,, why are like marvel and star wars trending,,, but not the australian fires that are burning everything down??? 3 lives have been lost, homes have been lost, and koalas are dying. this should be a worldwide fucking topic. not to mention, politicians are ASS and aren't doing jack shit. most people i know havent even HEARD of these fires. seriously, this isnt right. i'm terrified out of my MIND about these fires, that they're gonna spread close enough to me. 500 schools were shut yesterday, my geography teacher wasn't here today, yesterday he lost contact with his family back at home and i can only assume the worst
