ok, so, ryuji isn’t exactly dumb. at least not in the beginning (since that’s how far I’ve gotten at least. I’m still on Kamoshitface’s palace) Like, when morgana is explaining how the metaverse works and all that, and ryuji not getting it; it makes sense! He just got transported to a place he didn’t know, assumes that it works like real life, cause, y’know, what else is he supposed to think, and then gets confused when the place doesn’t work like that. And then he gets yelled at by a freaking talking cat of all things about him being an idiot after just one explanation, just ONE. anyone would be confused and not understanding in that kind of situation! Honestly, morgana could be a bit kinder.
