Hi there! So...I wanted to make a request about an Scenario about Vash x soft dom!Reader. It kinda spicy (not Nsfw at all) The Reader is a like Bayonetta, like a Golden Retriever and Black Cat relationship with a witch who has lived so many years (same as Vash). A great fighter with guns on her heels and also very flirty and sexy with him (even gave him the nickname "puppy" 'cause she thinks he's such a cutie). There's one time she wears Vash's red coat and glasses to seduce him using only black panties covering her chest with the coat. Saying "You're a clumsy fool...but you never fail to impress

Oh god, okay I love the vibe and energy a LITTLE spice is okay for me to write. Also, you know Vash likes to be compared to a dog 💀 so it’s fitting lol also I’m sorry I’m very asexual I don’t know how to write sexual tension lol well I do but just for myself I also had no idea where to go with this, so apologies! I can't believe I sat down and wrote this and it's not even super NSFW This can almost be read as gender-neutral, it does seem like it's implied that the reader has breasts so I’ll mark it as a Fem!reader just in case.

Boredom, that’s what your life had started to succumb to. How many years have you lived in this desalted desert; you’ve lost count. Living the same day over and over, sometimes you’d get the occasional visitors but tales of the witch in the desert usually keep people away.

Of course, that all changed when you found someone to cure your boredom, Vash the Stampede the first time had been happenstance, going into the nearest town for resupply when you met him for the first time.

Tending to be one to mind your own business, you ignored the first sounds of screaming and gunshots. You were going to ignore the second round; you were even turning around to leave the area until someone crashed into you sending you falling directly into your back.

The person in question landed directly on you with a yelp, you groaned looking up and meeting the bluest pair of eyes you’ve ever seen. “Sorry!” The blonde cried out; oh, he was cute. But he was crushing you, his face landing directly into your chest. You were going to reply but before you could a voice called out. “There he is!”

The man’s eyes widen and he scrambled off you, yelling out a ‘hey’ when he got a little handsy he pulled you up a blush high on his cheeks. You smirked, cute, and fun to mess with! Standing now, you turned to face the other gunmen. They stopped in front of the two of you guns raised. Glancing at the blonde beside you, then the men in front of you sighing you place your hands on hips.

“What can I do you boys for?” They looked surprised when you spoke, too focused on the man beside you. “Hand him over, now.” You don’t flinch when they point a gun straight at you. Leaning over you grab the man by the arm and pull him to you, “No thanks I think I’ll keep him.” You chuckle as you hear the blonde beside you let out a little ‘eep’ noise.

They don’t like this, and you don’t care with a smirk you raise your leg. It happens quickly you fire a shot startling the men and making them scatter. Not wasting time, your start running dragging the blonde behind you. You hear shouting behind you, but you don’t care. Shoving the man into a narrow alleyway, you press up against his front. You watch him blush not knowing what to do with his hands. Your hands settle on his chest, he is heart racing.

“What's your name?” You ask quietly, he meets your eyes and his mouth drops. “What?” He squeaks, “your name.” You give him your own, fisting your hands in his red jacket and waiting for his response. “Vash.” Your eyes light up at his name, you’ve seen the wanted posters, so that’s why they were after him. You nearly jump when a hand rest on your waist, “I think they are gone” he says it quietly as if afraid to break the moment between the two of you.

You stay against him longer than necessary, but the feeling of his body pressed close to you makes you feel wistful. When was the last time you’ve been this close to someone? Remembering yourself, and that this is just some random man you drop your hands. Turning and leaving the alleyway Vash stumbles after you. Turning towards Vash, you smile and with a wave of your hand leave him be. Not expecting anything to come of this encounter you don’t think much of it.

Years pass, and you stopped keeping track after a century or so. Let’s just say you're surprised when there is a knock at your door in the middle of the night. Opening the door your jaw drops, well because it’s Vash and he looks exactly the same. You don’t know if he expected you behind the door, probably not given his own shocked expression.

“Wow, you haven’t changed!” He says it with a laugh, and if you were naive maybe you would believe his over-friendly tone, “same with you.” You're not sure why but you let him in, maybe it’s the feeling that he is a kindred spirit that clearly there is more than meets the eye between the two of you.

This is the start of many more meetings, he’ll disappear for a while, you're unsure where he goes when he does leave yet Vash always comes back to you like a good dog. You’ll never forget the first time you called him that, he was visiting again he always hovered around you wanting to help, asking what you were doing constantly and just getting in your way. At first, you found it annoying but over the years you’ve developed a soft spot for him and found it endearing.

Teasing Vash was always a fun pastime, so when you asked him to hand you something you couldn’t help the next words you spoke. “Thank you, what a good boy.” You raised a brow as he froze, and then smirked as his whole face lit up, but there was something else in his eyes. If he really was a dog, you swore his tail would be wagging.

You take the item from him, set it down, and turn to face him with your arms crossed. “I can see your tail-wagging puppy.” You laugh loudly as he stutters, fumbling over his words trying to defend himself you lean in kissing him right on his beauty mark, and that shuts him up.

Your relationship with Vash doesn’t have a name to it, sometimes he just needs comfort, and you're happy to provide it to him, to take care of him. Sometimes you need to be reminded that you are not alone, that you won’t be alone anymore and someone understands.

There are late nights when the two of you lay under the stars admiring them and each other, and early mornings when you don’t let him leave the bed. There are goodbyes which are always painful, but he promises to come back he’s loyal and faithful like a dog you remind him he laughs now at the comment it not tripping him up anymore. Your favorite moments are when he comes back, so willing to be in your arms again it brings you real happiness and makes you wonder how you truly survived being alone all this time.

It’s the middle of the night when you hear a knock at the door, wrapping yourself in a robe you open the front door. Your gaze softens when you meet his eyes, he looks tired. He smiles at you but it doesn’t reach his eyes, pulling him into your little house you lead him to the bedroom. Pressing a kiss to his lips, his arms wrap around you. Your own arms go around his neck, pressing another kiss to his lips you pull back, “let me take care of you.” He melts into you.

Helping him out of his coat, you check him for any injuries satisfied you send him off to the bathroom for a warm shower. Once you are back in your room, you pick up his red coat, holding it to your chest for a moment. With a smirk, you figured Vash could use a little love and comfort dropping your robe you shiver as the cool air hits your naked body. With out a moment to waste you put Vash’s red coat on, it's warm bundling up in it you breathe in his scent. You can never place exactly what you smell, just that it's so Vash.

You are always so grateful when he returns to you alive, you just have a hard time expressing it. Well, you know how to express it in other ways. Walking around the room you notice his glasses and can’t help but put them on with a laugh. You hear the shower turn off, and you hear him call your name.

Heading toward the bathroom you open the door leaning on the frame, arms crossing over your chest just watching Vash. He has changed into his pajamas; he looks very comfortable. “Vash~” you coo at him; he looks up at you with a soft smile and then his eyes go wide. You smirk as you watch his eyes obviously go up and down your form.

You step forward, uncrossing your arms as you do you can’t help but laugh as his eyes shoot to your chest, and then he turns away with a squeak. You reach him wrapping your arms around his waist and pressing your chest into his back, “How do I look?” he lets out a whine, which only eggs you on. You let out a soft ‘hum’ as you hold him tighter, waiting for an answer. “You look… amazing.” he says it shyly.

Dropping your arms, you turn around to leave, you hear Vash made a sound of confusion but you ignore it walking back towards the bed. “We’ll ill look better with it off so come here.” You call, hearing him stumble, he rushes out of the bathroom hitting his shoulder on the doorframe as he does. Your gaze softens and you coo at him, which just embarrasses Vash more but you can’t help it you love everything about the idiot. “You’re such a clumsy fool.” You tease.

Vash stops in front of you, placing his hands on your shoulders he thumbs the fabric of his jacket, “Yet here we are, and I don't see you complaining.” He mutters, leaning in to press a kiss to your lips, you accept the kiss easily. You let him remove the coat, it dropping to the floor, reaching up for the glasses on your face you toss them to the side. “No, never with you, you’ve never failed to impress me.” He blushes, as you reach for him pulling you to him. Looks like it's going to be one of those late nights.

You’re probably wondering, “what the hell?” Honestly so am I, as not even I can fully process what I’ve done. Rata2ouille: The Perfect Dish (AKA Funny Ratgame) is a satirical, freeware indie platformer, social simulation, full length role-playing hybrid game. Following the events of Ratatouille for Wii and its sequel Ratatouille PSP, a new adventure unfolds after a series of events leads to the protagonist discovering a mysterious world known as the Food Network. Partnering up with an odd naked mole rat named Twinkles, the protagonist forms the Rodent Risers, braving the Food Network to find the mythical Perfect Ingredients and defeat the brutally evil rat Knox. Along the way, the player will have to develop Companion Syncs with both coworkers and customers, craft and obtain Persona to wield in combat, manage their restaurant, cook food that will assist them on their journey, and more.

This game is in no way, shape, or form an actual Disney, Pixar, or Atlus product. It is an independently developed satirical game. It is parody and no profit is being made from it.

Q: Is this really a full length Persona style RPG? A: Yes. I’m sorry, I don’t know why. It’s about 60 Hours long.

Q: How long did this take to make? A: About two and a half years, though I took many breaks from working on it due to being a full time college student (after some gap years) and having other projects I’ve been working on.

Q: Who made this? What kind of person makes this? Can you tell us about yourself because I need to know what’s wrong with you??? A: I’m very sorry to tell you that a very hot goth artsy nonbinary femboy made this game. I hope that makes the game more intimidatingly powerful.

Q: If this is a heavily Persona inspired game will it be re-released with a single new dungeon in a few years with a new marketable character tacked on? A: Buddy if enough people find this funny and enjoy playing it, you know it! That and if enough people would like to help me add full blown voice acting in a re-release, which would be one of my major focuses for an enhanced version.

Q: Why did you make this? A: I was really bored during the pandemic. Originally this was a small crude gag game I was making years and years and years ago that I scrapped, but I completely revamped it into something much more elaborate and surreal as a little distraction to keep me busy while quarantining. It sort-of functioned as a low stakes testing ground for less facetious games I plan on releasing in the near future. There’s also an underlying commentary on how obnoxious and outlandish unnecessary sequels to self-contained and subdued stories are, which can be seen in how ridiculously unhinged the game is with constantly recontextualizing various minute-details of the original movie and retconning things as if it was all deep foreshadowing.

Q: Why are you acting like Ratatouille is some kind of game series? A: In the past, in the really early beginnings of making this game, I had this whole elaborate ARG thing I would often joke about with friends where I would insist the movie was just a really bad faithless adaption of a video game series developed by Platinum Games and published by Atlus. There were jokes about the name “Remy” being a “dumb movie adaption thing” and that Ratatouille is in fact the proper name. The implication was that the “Disney movie adaption” was so bad it killed off the game series until this sequel came out well over a decade later due to “vocal fan support.” This eventually died down a bit, but some of the ironic ARG stuff has lingered. One part of the ARG was originally going to be that there were two people working on this game instead of one and that they’d have a messy public falling out on the game’s tumblr blog, but this was scrapped because it felt too explosive lol.

Q: What do you mean by this being a sequel to Ratatouille for Wii and Ratatouille PSP? Aren’t those the same game? A: While the Ratatouille tie-in game on most consoles was just a movie adaption, the PSP version was one of those weird tie-in games that takes place after the movie. I never beat the game but the plot entails Chef Skinner stealing all the recipe cards from the new restaurant around the time of their grand opening, and Rem- Ratatouille having to retrieve them. This is recited as some sort of major, melodramatic event in Rata2ouille. Ratatouille PSP has a lot of scrapped side-characters from the movie appear (such as rats named Celine, Dodo, Twitchy all of whom were meant to appear in the movie and were in the official art book) in addition to very odd new characters such as Teen Rat, who is seemingly a Sonic the Hedgehog pastiche that challenges Remy to races. These game-exclusive characters are all treated as if they’re established characters from the movie that we should know and recognize so when I discovered they exist halfway through development, I retroactively added a bunch of them into this game and treated them exactly the same here. I did a lot of deep diving into the production of the movie and its tie-in material while making this game and referenced a lot of niche stuff -- in order to be as bizarre as possible, I also needed to be as “authentic” as possible.

I saw how you said that you think the Leon/Ada ship has sank & I don’t know if that is true. I think Capcom will still continue with them to some extent.

The fact that people still talk about Ada and Leon to this day, 8 years after their last appearance in 2013 (not including the remakes), strongly contradicts the opinion: “It’s getting old”. (which is one of the most used arguments i hear against aeon) Their relationship is memorable and is among the most intriguing stories in RE.

I’m pretty sure Capcom is aware of their popularity as a couple and intends to keep it a mystery/ up for interpretation for a long time more. Leon is the poster boy of RE, so to finally conclude the Ada x Leon story would make his character less interesting and they wouldn’t want that.

See the Ada and Leon fan art, memes, and video edits for yourself; they need that kind of publicity for as long as they intend to keep those two relevant in the franchise. And that’ll be a long time because Ada Wong and Leon S. Kennedy are iconic names in the video game world.

RE is doing different things too now with new characters and all, so probably when the new set of characters become the new hot deal. They’ll finally put an end to the “will they will they not”.

So uh. A few things.

People talk about old shit all the time. Dudebros still have the "Asuka or Rei?" argument. FF7 fandom is somehow still debating CloTi vs Clerith, despite CloTi basically becoming canon with Advent Children in 2005. People still ship Goku and Bulma, for god's sake. I don't understand what "people still talk about it" has to do with... literally anything. At all.

Leon is not the poster boy of RE. Chris is. If you think that Leon is the poster boy of RE, you are wildly out of touch with the wider gaming community.

Springboarding off the above two points, shipping/fanart/fanfic fandom plays a very tiny role in influencing future game development. Capcom isn't listening to shippers. Capcom is listening to YT content creators and streamers and games journalists and maybe they'll read a thread on ResetEra here and there -- because those are the people who sell their products. And those people are predominantly the ones who are sick of the Aeon melodrama and hated what RE6 did to Leon's character.

Ada's name is not iconic in the video game world. At all. AT ALL. Not a single person who doesn't play Resident Evil knows who the fuck Ada Wong is. She's not Sephiroth or Master Chief or Nathan Drake or Lara Croft or Bayonetta. She's not even Jill Valentine. Hell, even Leon's name was only iconic up until about 2010 when Chris took back over and then RE6 shit the bed. When RE4 was a cultural phenomenon, people knew who Leon was. It's been eighteen years. They don't anymore. They know Chris and Jill, if they know anyone from RE at all. And Lady D. Because of course they know Lady D. If you're having trouble discerning who in the video game world is iconic and who's not: ain't nobody on the goddamn planet was clamoring for Ada (or Leon, for that matter) to be in Smash Bros.

Capcom clearly disagrees with your assertion that not having Ada in Leon's story makes him less interesting, considering that the last three original RE storylines that they released with him in it (Vendetta, ID, and DI) didn't feature or mention her at all. If Leon and Ada never met again after RE6, I don't think a single person outside of Aeon and/or wider shipping fandom would even notice.

There's not much time left for Capcom to "keep the mystery going." Leon turned 46 this year. By the time RE9 comes out, he'll be 48. Ada will be 50. How many more titles do you realistically think those two have left in them? RE9 will probably be the finale for most of the legacy cast, if not all of them. And not a single piece of supplementary canon (lookin at you, CGI movies) leading up to RE9 has been setting up Leon and Ada's relationship to be a thing that's going to be addressed at all. The conclusion of Leon's story is going to deal with his relationship with the government -- because that is the thing that's actually fueling his character arc; not Ada.

If Capcom was truly still interested in pursuing a romantic angle between Leon and Ada, then why did the Remakes turn out the way that they did? Why remove the declaration of love? Why have Leon hold Ada at gunpoint and say he never trusted her? Why create such a hostile, antagonistic dynamic between them in RE4make? Why set up Wesker to be at the heart of Ada's character arc this time around instead of Leon?

I just. I appreciate the cordial tone of your ask. I do. I recognize and appreciate the fact that you seemingly did not come here to pick a fight. And I don't want to fight with you guys, either.

But I need you guys to actually get in touch with the reality that is the games industry and understand that, despite women actually being in the majority in terms of the statistical numbers of video game players, video game publishers still largely listen to male voices in the fanbase -- because those are the people who generally tend to make it big as streamers, content creators, and journalists.

I need you guys to play video games other than Resident Evil and gain some perspective on how insignificant your ship actually is. EagleOne fandom is very self-aware about the fact that our ship, despite having a canonical romantic angle in RE4make, is never going to be pursued outside of the one title that it's featured, because it isn't important and it doesn't fucking matter. We are waiting for our Aeon brothers and sisters in Christ to join us in the self-awareness that is the fact that ships are not what sell Resident Evil games. Aeon isn't moving units -- and was, in fact, one of the contributing factors to RE6 being deemed a failure. People don't play RE for the romance. They play RE for spooky atmospheres in which they can make badass characters do sick wrestling moves on giant fucking monsters and blow shit up with rocket launchers, and if anything gets in the way of that (like Aeon kind of did in RE6), the wider fanbase wants it removed.

But what I really need you guys to do is just... let it go and let people have fun on their own time and in their own spaces. Aren't you tired? All you do is invade other people's Twitter accounts or TikToks or Reddit posts or Tumblr ask boxes (hi) and try to push some Aeon agenda that no one outside of Aeon fandom cares about. You look like out of touch boomers just clinging to the good old days. You do.

And this is coming from the queen out of touch boomers. I am basically the embodiment of the "how do you do, fellow kids?" meme, and even I'm like "you guys need to live in the now."

Like, be honest, man. Did you really think that coming into my ask box -- me, of all people in this damn fandom -- and simply stating "um actually Aeon is super important" was going to make me go "you know what, anon, you're right, and I'm stupid for not seeing it sooner"?

Come on.

I just want you guys to be better than this. I'm tired. I'm exhausted. I don't wanna fight about this anymore or ever again. I'm here to analyze the story as it's written while taking into account wider game industry trends and practices and also provide shipping content as it pops up within the text that I'm analyzing, and that is it.

If you wanna talk about actual scripting and cinematography and the intended themes and messages of the Remakes and shit like that, I'm more than happy to have that back-and-forth with you. In fact, I would love that. I become a better analyst and critic by having those discussions with people who disagree with me.

But this? This ask?

I can't do a goddamn thing with this.
