1x1 plot list!

hello girls, gays and theys! my name is crissy, i’m 21, go by she/her pronouns and live in the PST timezone. i am celebrating bullshitting my way through my junior year with ( copious amounts of tequila but also ) make a list of 1x1 ideas / plot bunnies because i need something to do during this Borentine and what better way to spend it then making myself cry with ships!

i’ve always kind of wanted one based loosely on these pictures x, x, x. im thinking ponyo meets enchanted meets h20 little mermaid AF realness! like maybe hes this lil regular boy high school college student taking pictures and stuff and sees this girl wash up on the shore looking very confused. so he helps her and you know, shes a little hysterical and cant walk very well, takes her into his apartment puts a towel over here bc she like keeps talking abt how shes a mermaid and hes like oh my god shes crazy ahh. she keeps saying her dad is king of the ocean and hes like???? do u have a last name? and the police dont know anything abt her she has no file, no id, no finger print in the database?

MAYBE THE GOVERNMENT IS ALSO POACHING HER WE LOVE DRAMA

ok last mermaid plot? BUT ITS A SIREN PLOT!!!!!!! these sirens/a siren wipes out this sailors entire ship with the sirens song they all get drowned/eaten .... but plot twist! this one sailor homie lives bc he is DEAF and therefore IMMUNE TO THE SIREN SONG!! so this siren keeps tryna sing at him and its not working and u know they fall in love good stuff MORE POACHES MORE PIRATES MORE GOVERNMENT TRYNA KILL THE AQUATIC AMERICAN BC I LOVE SUFFERING modern or maybe set back in the day???? spicy

Ladybug gaped at her friend.

Rena Rouge continued to stare out at the Paris skyline, though Ladybug noticed how her lip wobbled.

Ladybug sighed, scooting closer and draping her arm over Rena.

“I don’t see why I would need to,” she said softly. “I’m quite happy with the Fox I have.”

“I don’t want to be the Fox anymore.”

“Isn’t this your dream?”

Rena paused. “It was.”

“What changed?”

Rena sniffled and turned away. “I’m not a good friend. How can I be a good hero?”

Ladybug’s eyes sharpened. “Who told you you weren’t a good friend? Whoever they are, they’re wrong.”

“I did,” Rena said quietly.

Ladybug placed her hand over Rena’s. “Why would you say that about yourself?”

“Because it’s true.”

Ladybug felt her chest tighten. “What makes you think that?”

“It’s my best friend, Marinette,” Rena said, and Ladybug flinched. “She’s been...acting strange around me lately, you know?”

Marinette racked her brain, but couldn’t think of anything she’d done that would make Alya jump to this conclusion. “What do you mean by strange?”

“Well, it’s more of a gut feeling than anything. She’s just as kind and giving as usual, but something’s off you know? She’s normally so animated around me and just-the past few weeks I noticed that she’s been more restrained and guarded around me. It’s not anything she says but her mannerisms are more closed off, and she’s not as emotionally open with me.”

Ladybug sighed. It seems Alya was just as good at reading Marinette as she was at reading Alya. “Have you tried talking to her?”

Rena drew her legs to her chest. “She evades the topic anytime I bring it up.”

Ladybug felt a pang of guilt. “Communication is a two way street,” she said, rubbing Alya’s back. “If Marinette has something she wants to talk to you about, she needs to speak up. You’ve given her opportunities and she’s avoided them. This doesn’t fall solely on you.”

“But she doesn’t feel safe talking to me, that’s the problem.” Rena put her chin on her knees. “And can you blame her?” She said softly. “Since she didn’t want to talk, I started thinking about what could have caused her to close off,” she explained. “The list was long.” Rena’s fingers gripped her arms.

“Pushing her into situations she’s not comfortable with, disregarding her feelings, pressuring her, guilting her, throwing her under the bus when she’s not around, blowing her off to hang out with my boyfriend, offloading my siblings onto her to go hang out with my boyfriend, the list goes on,” Rena laughed bitterly. “Marinette has been nothing but kind and considerate, which makes it even worse.”

Ladybug paused. “I think you’re being harder on yourself than you need to be,” she said cautiously.

Rena sniffled. “It’s ok Ladybug you can say it. I’ve been a bad friend.”

Ladybug shook her head. “No, you haven’t. I’m glad you’re being self reflective and thinking about how you could be a better friend, but everyone has their flaws. The fact you’re able to identify yours tells me you’re dedicated to improving and becoming a better person, and that’s the kind of friend I would want at my side.”

Rena looked down, releasing one of her legs, which dangled freely over the edge.

Ladybug draped her arm over Rena’s shoulder again. “If you ask me, Marinette is lucky to have someone as lovely as you as her friend,” she said with a smile.

Rena leaned into Ladybug’s embrace. “I still want you to find a new Fox,” she said softly.

Ladybug sighed. “If that’s truly what you want, I cannot and will not force you to remain the Fox. But Alya-” Ladybug gently turned Rena Rouge to face her. “If you give up the mantle of the Fox, I’ll have to find a new one, I can’t guarantee you’ll ever take it up again.”

Rena nodded. “I’ve made my peace with that,” she said softly. “These past months have meant the world to me, but all this hero stuff means nothing if I’m losing touch with those I care about.”

“What about Carapace?”

“I already told him I’m giving up the mantle,” Rena said. “I haven’t talked it over with him and I’m sure he’ll be upset but he’ll understand. He always does.”

Ladybug felt her throat tighten, and she pulled Rena in for a hug. “I’m gonna miss you,” she said. “But I respect your decision.”

Rena Rouge lifted up her window and slipped inside. She gestured at Ladybug, who followed suit.

Rena looked down, taking one last good look at herself. She closed her eyes and exhaled. “Trixx, let’s rest.”

Trixx shot out of the necklace, flying up to Alya’s face. The usually jovial kwami’s face looked uncharacteristically muted.

“You won’t be coming back, huh Kit?”

Alya swallowed and nodded.

“I could feel it the second you transformed-there was a sort of finality to it. No need to apologize,” he added, and Alya closed her mouth. “Being a hero isn’t all fun and games. It impacts your personal life. You need to prioritize you. There’s no shame in recentering.”

Alya smiled, removing the necklace. “I’m gonna miss you Trixx.”

Trixx flashed her a grin. “Oh I’m sure our paths will cross again someday, even if you’re not the one donning the suit.” His face softened. “I’ll miss you too Alya,” he said, diving back into the necklace.

Alya presented the box to the spotted heroine. “Thank you for this opportunity Ladybug.”

Ladybug took the box, and pulled Alya in for a hug. “For the record,” she said, “our time together has meant the world to me too.”

Ladybug pulled back, climbing out onto the window.

She looked back at Alya and paused.

Her friend grinned and gave her a nod.

Ladybug smiled sadly, and saluted her friend. “Bye Alya.”

Thoughts on Onichan

Before the sub was released, I tried watching the French dub and though I didn't understand what Lila told Nino, I knew everything that came out of her mouth was a frickin' lie.

So the first scene kinda established what kind of home life Lila has (a busy mom she rarely sees and spends time with, and solitude) which is sad but I think it's important that we little by little learn why she is the way she is.

Adrien has proven once again that he is such a kind soul and a sweetheart albeit he is gullible and doesn't get to suspicious of other people.

Marinette is at it again hahaha she is such a dedicated stalker and she really went through a lot to spy on Adrien and Lila although she failed in the end.

The Parisian fireman is an MVP 👌

UGGGGGHHHH LILA IS SUCH A LIAR AND MANIPULATIVE B*TCH. I HONESTLY THOUGHT NATHALIE WASN'T GONNA GIVE IN TO HER DECEIT BUT UGGGHHH

HOW DARE LILA FORCED ADRIEN INTO A SELFIE AND TRIED TO KISS HIM???? YOU DON'T JUST DO THAT TO ANYONE AND LEAK OUT THE PIC TO ALL OF YOUR CONTACTS.

How did Kagami even receive the pic?? 🤔🤔

I do not ship Kagami with Adrien but she is a more worthy rival for Marinette in winning Adrien's affections. Kagami works hard and honestly for the things she wants. If she knew how horrible of a person Lila is, she would probs be more upset than she was before she got akumatized.

Also, although we have seen Kagami exude confidence and coldness in the past episodes, she is truly an emotional and sentimental person as shown when she kept the rose Adrien gave her inside what seemed like a diary. The way she smiled at it and even BLUSHED when Adrien praised her, showed us a different side of her.

Onii-chan's costume reminded me of the costume Marinette made for Kitty Section (this is just my opinion tho).

Chat Noir got jealous of his alter ego getting the attention. It would have been worse if he knew that Ladybug was also in love with Adrien Agreste.

Lila deserved that horn. She was like a devil-ish Pinnochio (bc her horn grew longer everytime she lied).

I hated it when Lila used Onichan to attack Ladybug albeit it was a genius move as noted by Gabriel. This just shows how manipulative she is.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE POUND IT???? ET TU, CHAT NOIR?????? 💔💔💔

I wanted Lila to be banned for life from the Agreste Mansion but I guess the ending she got seemed fine.

Okay so Gabriel is planning to make Lila her ally. Does this mean he's gonna entrust to her the Peacock Miraculous??? Is he gonna tell her that he's Hawkmoth??? Or will she just use Lila to keep an eye on Adrien or whatever??? Anyway, this twist has me interested in what will happen in the rest of the season.

Chat and Ladybug's suits headcanon

Okay so we know from this last episode that how the suit looks depends on the miraculous holder and what they want it to be deep inside.

Sooo that's where i headcanon like HARD that Adrien had been waiting for this moment his whole life and he knew exactly what he wanted bc he is such a nerd whom i love, that's why his suit design is more elaborate and stylish, also he actually hides his identity better. I mean the hair and eyes changes make it more difficult to recognise him, it's more of a disguise. Also the ears, tail and bell are just 👌

Marinette, on the other side... well she is a FREAKING FASHION DESIGNER and you expect me to believe that THIS

IS THE ONLY THING SHE COULD COME UP WITH????? There is nothing wrong with it but come ON she is passionate about clothes and what she wants most is this super simple suit with a super simple design? Also let's not forget the fact that her hair BARELY changes like it's just a darker blue, but apart from that she looks the freaking same

Nuh-uh i refuse. So my theory goes like this, just look at these pics:

Both of these are after the first time they transformed. Now if you look at Adrien he clearly likes his costume and is really excited about it and even says something like "So cool!" He was totally prepared for this, he knew what he wanted.

Then we have Marinette, she wasn't sure what she was doing and was confused about the whole superhero thing and was doubting herself. Then she looks in the mirror like "Oh... what is this?"

So i personally feel like if Marinette had been more secure about her decision to become Ladybug and prepared for the whole thing, her suit would have looked pretty different from what it actually is now.

Idk maybe i am just making all this up but Plagg just confirmed that the suit depends on the person and the ONE PERSON THAT IS INTO FASHION GETS ONE OF THE MOST SIMPLE DESIGNS this is not right my dudes sorry about the rant 🙄

anon asked: For any of the admins! I’m not sure if this was asked previously, so I apologize in advance. But what's everyone’s favorite au / prompt? (Also thank you guys for starting this blog, im forever grateful this exists)

Chamomile: awww! I’m grateful that this blog exists too (lol). My current favorite type of au’s are murder mystery au’s because of the Rabbit Doubt writing group I’m in so like, expect so many of those coming up soon. I’m also really digging superhero au’s.

M: I’m a fan of the whole “kidnapping / assassin / mob / killer” sort of a trope for some reason - it’s loads of fun to try and mess with original tropes and make them ridiculous, funny, modern, etc.!

Jynn: My fave AUs are ones that incorporate real life twists on typical AUs, like including people with disabilities.

@tomorraw asked: How many of you guys are there? Do certain people answer in certain genre? Or does everyone write what they are given? How did you guys meet? (Btw, this is one of my favorite idea blogs. They are so many different views on different ideas and so many genres.)

Chamomile: Currently there’s four of us! I know admin m and admin jynn from a loooong while back -- like two years back. Admin jynn and I go back to our homestuck roots (love her for that) and we’ve stuck together ever since. We all just kind of write whatever floats our boats! M: I met both Jynn and Chamomile through working on the Night Unvaled, which is a Night Vale Fancast that we wrote and produced. We’ve been friends ever since!! As for the certain genre thing, I can’t really say that we all write solely one genre, but we all certainly have our specialties!! Jynn: We have a posting schedule for who posts what when, but when it comes lists we all just take what interests us. Chamomile and I met more than two years back… in a Homestuck role play. Shortly after, we met M in a podcast project we were all working on and we've all be friends since!

Anon asked: what are some of your favorite tropes?

Chamomile: does “I love the way that you understand me and make me feel like I’m the only person in the world when you pay attention to me” count as a troupe? Like an OTP troupe? Bc that’s my ultimate favorite.

M: My favorite trope is messing with tropes. Best thing.

Jynn: “Flaws” turning out to work to someone's advantage!

Anon asked: What is pastel/punk or pastel and punk? I don't get it and google isn't explaining it to me because it's a meany

Chamomile: I remember this AU! It was an AU Friday list that I did and loved doing it! Basically, there’s ‘pastel’ aesthetic which is very like, cutesy baby pink and pastel blues and other ‘soft’ colors being worn with other ‘soft’ aesthetic items like, glitter or hair clips or oversized sweaters ands stuff like that. Then there’s punk aesthetic, which very like, ‘heck all of you, I want to be comfortable and show that I’m rebelling against the social/political norms’. It can vary from person to person, so it might be better just to google ‘punk fashion’. The whole tag is supposed to be sort of an ‘opposite attract’ type deal.

Anon asked: So in regards to the color au in which you only see color once you touch your soulmate: what if you were born blind? Or when you touch your soulmate, it turns out that you are colorblind?

Chamomile: mmmmmm I’m not a fan of this AU bc of reasons I’m too longwinded about. Skipping this question for me.

M: I guess it’s possible and would make for quite the interesting change in AUs from the usual soulmate trope, but make sure you’re careful when it comes to writing AUs about topics you’re not personally familiar with (such as being blind), but go for it!

Jynn: Idk about it. Lmao I'm picky as heck when it comes to soulmate AUs, and this one has the potential to be interesting but never “stuck out” to me.

Anon asked: hi there! i'm new {ish}, and i've been looking thru ur old posts. i think it's really cool how u help ur followers, school related or not. out of curiosity tho, who is the person who according to that school survey watched so much anime? if u have time, would u mind asking?

Chamomile: Anon I want to know too like, please, show yourself.

M: We support you. Maybe. For the most part.

Chamomile: Genosha, I would be so hype, you wouldn’t understand. Like a 10/10. Even if I did get tired of my new cool cotton candy beard like?? I can just wash it off?? Because cotton candy is water soluble?? I see no problems here??

M: maybe a 2. Too sticky.

Jynn: 7/10. Might get sticky and tedious (and I work in and pool so it'd probably get in the water) but endless free cotton candy? Yes.

Anon asked: Deadpool 2 boyfriend? yes or no?

Chamomile: consider this….boyfriend….and girlfriend…..dating both at the same time….

M: yus

Jynn: Yes on boyfriend but NOT at the expense of a lady characters story ending badly.

Anon asked: what's your dream job?

Chamomile: whatever makes me happy? Right now I’m happy serving coffee and doing odd writer jobs in exchange for gift cards (#hit me up y’all), but in the future I might want something different so like, it depends as I grow!

M: Creative Producer in Hollywood!!

Jynn: Aaaa I wanna work in entertainment. Running tech, performing, whatever. Gotta be near that world.

Anon asked: Are you a part of any fandoms? Which ones?

Chamomile: oh jeeze well uhhhhh -- I still hold homestuck dear to my heart, but I’ve mostly moved into podcasts (SAYER, The Adventure Zone, WTNV, Carpe DM) and a lot of like, writing niche groups with my friends? If I can count those as ‘small fandoms’.

M: soooooo many: Nightvale, Merlin, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, etc. Too many.

Jynn: Still Homestuck like Chamomile. Various Nexflix series: Voltron, Stranger Things. Miraculous Ladybug too. Lots of Max Fun and Night Vale Presents podcasts, McElroy products. I work about 60 hours and week so I like things I can listen to while doing other things.

Anon asked: If you were a dragon, what would you hoard?

Chamomile:....scraps of paper. I have so many. I write down AU ideas and story lines on them and then just like, shove them into my bags and pockets and forget about them.

M: pens. so many pens.

Jynn: Useless cute stuff/LUSH products/stim toys probably.

Anon asked: M, did you draw the illustrations in your piece "The Beacon"?

The first draft was written by Admin Chamomile for a speed write but adapted and extended by Admin M just for fun. Go for it and read it if you’d like!!

Anon asked: How long would you survive in a zombie apocalypse?

Chamomile: hopefully until humanity can find the cure, lmao

M: maybe a month. maybe.

Jynn: Mmmmm no.

Anon asked: Which Never Book quote is your favorite?

Chamomile: “What were you thinking in that last moment between life and oblivion?” Jynn: “So you take another hit, and sick into a whiskey flavored kiss because he’s not there to tell you no.”

Anon asked: Unicorn or Pegasus?

Chamomile: Unicorn! No real reason why. M: Pegasus. Fly bitches. Jynn: Pegasus is more utilitarian.

Anon asked: this is probably too late for ata, but have you ever wanted to write a piece where the characters are southern but you don't know how to write their drawl or accent or dialect? (currently going thru this for the walking dead)

Chamomile: This sounds like a really interesting “How Do I Write” segment soooooo check back on Thursday ;D

Jynn: Not this specific situation. I live in Missouri so I know well how they talk lmao. I have run into something similar with an Irish character though, lots of research!!
