Sohee’s hands are so pretty it’s incredibly devastating.
He would be so sweet to you whilst teaching him how to use his fingers, where to touch, how to, so compliant with your instruction, the length of the process overflowing with constant timid giggles to mitigate the tension in his own inhibitions, fearing that he might not be able to succeed in making you feel good- but even that sounds insignificant compared to what he really wants.
He wants more than to have you moaning from only the effort of his dick or his mouth, he sees how often you’re focused on the way his fingers move, whether they’re resting or he’s merely scratching at an itch on his face, your eyes are always following them, like a cat with string.
“Show me,” he’d simply suggest one day, cutting through the silence of the room so abruptly that you almost jump. Blinking cluelessly at him with a confused smile you ask, “Show you what ‘Hee?”
His tongue pokes out to run against his top lip, readjusting himself to be seated with his legs crossed over at his ankles, knees pressed into yours, “How you want me to use my hands with you. Properly.”
And you do, come to find out he’s quite the learner as he succeeds in making you reach your peak by the lone effort of his fingers, and he couldn’t be more ecstatic to find out that not everyone has the same capabilities as him. Teaching Sohee would be a benefit for his sake, added his egos too, but would come to be… unavoidable on your part, as now every chance he sees even the slightest opening in he goes for it, his hand separating your knees apart with an unexpected force when he comes back home from a rather long tedious schedule and just wants to play with your pussy, make you cum, hear the way you whine and squeak out short praises directly into his ear as he watches the way his fingers work under the thin fabric of your bottoms.
It’s something about not being able to see what he does, but seeing the affect he has on you by the expressions of your face.
Loves when your hand comes up to massage gently at his scalp, already aware of the stress that’s thick in his disposition without so much as a word, just silently allowing him to touch you, your movement on his head stilling once he’s pulled you into a mindless blanket of pleasure as two of his fingers slip into your cunt and start pumping without missing a beat, your fingers tightening, locking around the soft clumps of his hair, pulling him closer into you by your hold to press tender kisses to his cheek :(
“I love you”s shared as he brings you to your peak, and lots of eye contact, the type to make you smile by smiling at you because he just loves you so much.
With this new habit of his he’d certainly enjoy seeing how far he could take it without getting caught. You’re out to eat at a fancy restaurant with him and his members? His fingers are agile enough to slip under your skirt unnoticed, just missing the warm feeling of you wrapped around him, leaving his fingers stuffed inside of you as he talks so casually to the boys seated so closely to the two of you at the table. You wanted to go see that new movie at the cinema? He’s throwing his jacket over your legs and moving himself to your seat as close as possible so he can move your panties to the side underneath it without being suspicious, pretending to just cuddle as his ring finger and index keep you spread for him so his middle finger can play with you clit.
Also has a problem cuddling, because at any moment he’s pushing you onto your back or pulling your leg to rest over his just so he can get his fingers on you. One of his favorite things to do is when the both of you watch as he lazily fingers you, switching from fucking them into you to swiping at the small bunch of nerves, purposely making as much noise with his hands as possible just to see the way you shy away from him.

I’ve just finished Burning Shores and it was an amazing experience. Great setting, cool new machines and the Horus fight was awesome. And Elon Musk guy was so totally fun to obliterate, although I hated final fight with him, because it was dumb and tedious.
But the whole Seyka-Aloy relationship was really something truly awesome. I loved the chemistry between them and the fact that for the first time Aloy opened up to the idea of being attracted to someone.
And I think it’s because of a few factors
1. She listened to Tilda’s story and realized Elisabet pushed away the only person that truly loved her, because she was so focused on her work she couldn’t be bothered with a relationship. And it was a crack in Elisabet’s character and Aloy realized she is becoming Lis when she’s in fact her own person. And a lot of bad things could be said about Tilda, but she’s genuine when she says she loved Elisabet the most in the entire world and she regrets how things ended.
2. Secondly, she saw everyone move on to create relationships or wanting to. Alva has someone she loves waiting for her at home. Talanah found a man, who made a mistake, but she doesn’t dismiss him right away and is willing to work on that relationship. Varl found a beautiful woman who loved him dearly, Erend decided to be just friends. Kotallo is a great friend, but they’re from two different worlds. And I think that moment Aloy sees Zo kissing Varl she realizes that maybe she could have someone like that too.
3. She learned that having friends, people to care about and people who care about you isn’t a sign of weakness, but it’s actually the opposite. It’s strength, it’s friendship and love. Having family is a good thing not an obstacle.
4. She realized she doesn’t have to push everything and everyone away just because she’s the only person who can fix this world.
She knows people are naturally drawn to her and when she felt being drawn to somebody she decided to just try and be honest not only to Seyka, but to herself, because she doesn’t want to be Elisabet. Sure, she wants to fullfil her wish to make the world a better place, but that doesn’t mean she has to be alone. And she understands it’s gonna be hard but it’s a start.
And holy crap I cried so hard at the end because I am so happy for Aloy. I’m happy she’s opening up and giving herself a chance to have someone close, who could be more than just a friend.
GG did such a great job in portraying the relationship between Aloy and Seyka. Both are totally into each other, but we don’t get fireworks, we get a simple „wow” and it’s the most powerful „wow” I’ve ever seen.
I love that DLC, and although it broke my console to the point I had to hard reset it, it was an incredible experience. GG proves they respect their story and character, but also fans to give us the best experience.

What Could Have Been (2/?)
Series Premise: When Ethan breaks his promise, Cassie is forced to accept they’re not inevitable after all.
Book: Open Heart Pairing: Ethan Ramsey x F!MC (Cassie Valentine); feat. Naveen Banerji Rating/Category: Teen. Angst Words: 1,125
Series Masterlist
Chapter 2: Facing the Consequences. It’s a new day; the past is best left where it belongs. Or is it?
Tumblr media
Ethan Ramsey had always known doing the right thing wasn’t easy, but no one told him it could also break his heart. Still, he’d stuck to his decision made during the long flight back.
He remembered their conversation at Derry’s after her ethics trial. How certain she was they could weather anything. He had allowed himself to believe then because he was powerless against her.
The WHO trip had come at a bad time, within a week or so of their new relationship. Or maybe it was fortunate timing.
Their last night together had been incredible. The lingering goodbye at the airport the next morning almost broke him. But absence had given him clarity on the risks they were taking entering into a relationship at this stage of her training.
He wasn’t her direct supervisor, but that didn’t mean people wouldn’t talk. About all manner of things, given the events of this past year. He’d seen firsthand how cruel gossip could be. She didn’t deserve it.
As he watched Cassie Valentine walk away, shoulders slumped in dejection, Ethan almost called her back. Nearly broke his resolve to keep things professional. Barely stopped himself from begging her forgiveness for his temporary lapse into insanity.
But he did none of those things. He shot back the last of his whiskey, savoring the burn on the back of his throat, and slumped forward. He sniffed away the tears threatening to fall and took a deep breath of the cooling night air.
This was the right decision, Ethan thought, pressing the heels of both hands against his eyelids. It had to be.
This wasn’t their time. He could wait two years for Cassie to graduate. Or he might have lost her forever. He told her back in Miami that some things were worth the risk. He’d come to realize some risks were too big to take.
Ethan arrived at the hospital early the next morning to talk to Naveen. He also needed time to prepare himself for seeing Cassie. She tried to hide the depth of her feelings last night, but he’d lost some sleep over how they’d work together on the team now.
Knowing his former mentor’s habits, he took the elevator to the executive floor, marched down the hallway and passed empty workstations. The desk outside Naveen’s office was unmanned; his administrative assistant wouldn’t start work for another hour.
Giving the door a perfunctory knock, Ethan pushed the door open and came to face to face with the man who’d made him the doctor he was. He hated disappointing him, but there was no getting away from it.
“Ethan! Welcome back,” Naveen exclaimed, coming out from behind the desk to shake his hand and slap another on his back in greeting. “Come sit. How was the mission?”
“Good. Although, I’d forgotten how tedious dealing with local governments can be,” Ethan said, taking the visitor’s chair across from the desk. “But we had a great team, and the results looked promising before I left.”
“I keep telling you. Diplomacy is a lost art form,” Naveen grinned. “It’s something you should consider seriously now that you’re back and permanently heading up the team.”
Ethan grimaced at the implication. He was far too impatient and blunt to be a diplomat.
“Come now, Ethan,” Naveen teased. “You know this better than anyone. If you want to advance in your career, you’ll have to apply your excellent bedside manners to people that aren’t your patients.”
“You can’t help being a teacher, huh?” Ethan drawled with a slight shake of his head.
“Yours in particular, my friend,” Naveen said, leaning back in the chair and crossing his hands behind his head. “You’ve come a long way from that hungry but rough intern I took under my wing, but you haven’t realized your full potential. Not yet, anyway.”
Ethan’s brows furrowed in confusion at the cryptic remark. He wanted to quiz Naveen but decided to let it go. He likely wouldn’t get a straight answer anyway.
“Tell me. How was your reunion with Dr. Valentine? I know she missed you,” Naveen said eagerly. “I’ve enjoyed seeing her shine on her own these last few weeks. What a power couple you’ll make, as the kids say.”
The question shook Ethan out of his reverie and reminded him of the reason for this visit.
“Actually, that’s what I came to talk to you about,” Ethan began slowly, trying to find the right words. “She and I are no longer seeing each other.”
“I see,” Naveen said neutrally. “Was this a mutual decision?”
“Not exactly,” Ethan said, unable and unwilling to lie. “We, I mean, I decided it would be detrimental to her training for us to be involved.”
He continued when Naveen didn’t interrupt. “You know how vicious the rumor mill can be, especially for female residents. Plus, our work on the diagnostics team could be compromised if I can’t push her to excel the way you did me.”
Ethan waited for Naveen to say something, anything. But the other man continued to stare at him with a poker face, thrumming his fingers on the arm of the chair.
“I’m disappointed in you, Ethan,” Naveen said eventually.
Ethan sucked in a breath at the tone as much as the words. “Nave—”
Naveen put up one hand for silence.
“After everything that happened this past year, to me, to you, I thought you’d come to appreciate how fragile life can be. And how regrets can destroy one’s peace of mind. But I see now I was wrong.”
“It’s not like that,” Ethan protested, hating how Naveen’s words made him feel.
“Your personal life is your business, Ethan,” Naveen said bluntly. “I will not try to talk you out of this decision. However, I won’t say anything to HR, not yet. I expect you to think long and hard about what changed and why. And, hopefully, correct your mistake before it’s too late.”
Naveen turned toward his computer monitor and placed one hand on the mouse. “I’m sorry, Ethan, but I must catch up on some reports before the day begins. So, if you’ll excuse me…”
Ethan stiffened, feeling the dismissal and disappointment more keenly than a punch. He didn’t care for too many people’s opinions, but Naveen was the exception. He needed the other man’s approval. It was the only measure he’d ever used to determine whether he was on the right path.
Troubled and uneasy, he slid out of the chair and left Naveen’s office, escaping with his tail caught between his legs.
He was doing the right thing, thought Ethan. He’d been so sure last night. So why did he now believe he’d just made the biggest mistake of his life?

>CREATING TRANSCRIPT...
...I’m afraid I don’t understand, sir. What is the point of such… intelligence? We are not developing artificial intelligence, we are developing a war machine.
Ah, but we are developing both, you see. Our goal here is to create something able to emulate the capabilities of human soldiers, down to every last detail.
But will it not be a waste of resources?
I don’t doubt it will be expensive, and tedious. But, when it is complete, it shall be a marvel for all to see, and it shall paint the battlefield red.
It… appears to be reading.
Indeed it is. Isn’t it wonderful?
Perhaps I should stop questioning you...
Placid as it may seem, it is a beast when it comes to combat. This is only one of many facets that will improve its performance.
How will the ability to read affect its performance in battle?
It’s not the ability to read that matters here, it’s the fact it is able and willing to learn. We gave it the resources, and it taught itself how to. It could very well have sat there in the room and not once touched the book. It shouldn't have a penchant for boredom. And yet, it learned. This is revolutionary.
Many other AIs have been made with similar capabilities. Why is this revolutionary?
Because it’s combined with its battle capabilities. It will learn from experience. It will learn from battle with its opponents, and it will strive for improvement and perfection every time. We’ve given it the framework, and now it will grow to be unstoppable.
…I see. I hope you are right in your confidence, because this prototype will be quite the money sink.
It will be worth it. Just wait and see.
---
So, this is your plan in reuse of the prototype?
I’ve sunk too much time into it to abandon it just because the war ended. It will be repurposed.
At this point, it would be better to sell off the idea than to repurpose it. Why create a whole other one?
The first has developed itself too much to take it apart and recode it without erasing it entirely. Besides, the production of the chassis isn’t the cost sink; all of it is what’s inside.
Understandable. Though, I still can not see who would consider purchasing it rather than fifty drones for the same price.
It won’t be for the general public, that’s for sure. It is intended as security for things of great importance. Banks, government buildings and the like.
Ah, I see. You had better hope the higher-ups are willing to spend on it, though.
Just wait and see.
---
You… introduced them? Why? This is highly risky! They could destroy each other!
But they aren’t, are they? Watch them communicate.
I must admit, I was not expecting this.
They are incredible, are they not? They know they’re in the same situation. It wouldn’t be farfetched to think they even recognize their similarities. That is why they don’t fight.
What is the point of this test?
For V1, its general intelligence. For V2, its threat assessment.
I see. I believe there could be… less risky ways to test this.
Even if it is risky, it also relieves our human curiosity, doesn’t it? I’ve wondered for a while how they would react to each other.
Curiosity should not drive any of your scientific actions in the future.
What is science if not the satisfaction of curiosity, the discovery of the extents of both human and machine?
You are right, but the first goal should always be the betterment of mankind.
You have no imagination. Just wait and see.

Heart of the Weave - A Baldurs Gate fanfiction
CHAPTER 19
After our delicious dinner, we put the baby to bed and I decided to head on over to Karlach and Wyll’s house, who luckily only live right down the road from us. No point in summoning Withers in this case, though Gale did beg me to stay home and he goes instead. I told him it won’t take long and I’m bound to come across a devil regardless.
“I won’t be long,” I assure him. “Remember, I still have my powers.”
“Alright, just be careful. Who knows what lurks out in the night? I won’t rest until you make it home. I love you.” I smile as I feel the comfort of his words. He doesn’t underestimate me, and if it weren’t for the fact a devil is watching me, he wouldn’t be as worried.
“I love you too.” I close the door behind me and make my merry way to see my friends, hoping they have some advice – or something – to assist me in the unfortunate circumstance.
The violet night sky in Waterdeep absorbs my attention, the aura of the sunset bringing out various colors that are reflecting within the large pond in the middle of town. There’s also restaurants with tables outside where people are chatting underneath the lights hanging from the roof. Such a lovely and calming sight to see. I am still very skeptical, so I make sure to eyeball every corner to make sure I’m not being spied upon.
After roughly a fifteen minute stroll, I make it to Karlach and Wyll’s mahogany cottage that sits by the docks of the sea. Before I even have the opportunity to knock on the door, Karlach opens it immediately as I approach; it’s as if she knew I’m here.
“Emmy!” Her voice is filled with enthusiasm as her face lights up. “What are you doing here? Please, come inside!” I walk into her cozy home, noticing the fireplace in the livingroom light up the home. It smells of a delicious herbal tea here.
“Hey there, Emmy. I’m sure judging by Karlach’s inability to contain her excitement that we never get visitors,” Wyll chimes in playfully with a smile on his face. “Say, where’s Gale and the little one?”
“He’s at home with the baby, she’s asleep and boy did she need it! I’m really sorry to pop in unexpectedly like this, I hate being that person.”
“Trust me, we’re thrilled that you’re here! Wait, did you and Gale have a fight? What happened?!” Karlach exclaims in a rising panic, which causes me to chuckle. “Pleeeease tell me you’re not divorcing.”
“No, no! Nothing of the sort. We’re stronger than ever before.”
“Then what troubled you, friend?”
“So, you’re both familiar with devil pacts and contracts. Zariel wants me to sell Jenevelle’s soul because it contains such strong strands of the weave and it’s enough to destroy Raphael out of the position as archdevil. In exchange, Jenevelle would be given the gift of immortality. Zariel wouldn’t say what would happen if we didn’t take the deal.” Karlach and Wyll both look frightened, their eyes wide as I spoke the words out loud. They’re trying to process all of the information it seems. Wyll sighs as he stiffens his shoulders.
“I hate to say it, but you need to take the deal. Trust me on this,” he mutters with concern. “Jenevelle would gain an incredible gift. Yes, it sucks she won’t age. It sucks she won’t grow up. However, you would all be free of Raphael and you wouldn’t have to worry about losing her. She’s a baby – so very delicate and fragile.” He has a very valid point. There’s more good than bad when it comes to selling her soul, and although it will be tedious at times, she will be with us and not in the Hells.
“As much as I despise the bitch that’s Zariel, you need to accept the deal. Please, Emmy. Remember when Raphael said that he would make you his ‘Hope’ for eternity? Best to avoid that,” Karlach adds. Her eyes seem to be tearing up, as if she truly believes I won’t take the deal. I realize how correct they both are and sigh heavily, hating the fact Jenevelle has no say in the matter but I’d do anything to make sure she’s not taken from me.
“Thank you both. I’m trying so damn hard to wrap my mind around this. Gale and I…we’ll be selling our souls too, in exchange for immortality.”
“Probably the best choice you could make for Jenevelle’s sake,” Wyll responds. “I am so sorry you got dragged into all of this.” I feel a huge weight taken off my chest as I come to a final decision and seeing the bright side of it all. I smile as I inhale, then exhale the tension that was built up inside me.
“It’s alright. Thank you both. I’ve made the decision. I hope you can both come by soon. Jenevelle misses you I’m sure.”
“Oh, you know damn well I’ll hold that baby any time! Just say the word and I’ll be there.”
I leave their house roughly an hour after the difficult conversation, and as I Head home I try to walk quickly so I can make it home before it’s too dark out. Unfortunately for me, I’m not an elf or any other race that can see in pitch black darkness. Luckily, I’m not far from the tower and I’m sure Gale is worried sick. As I pass the giant, beautiful oaktree that has years of wisdom within it, I notice a raunchy odor – sulphur, maybe?
“What…the hell is that?” I try to ignore it and continue my merry way back home, but then a dark shadow appears in front of me before my very eyes, quickly revealing itself as Zariel. I was hoping she would at least wait until I got home.
“Ah, Mrs. Dekarios. There you are. Time is ticking, my darling. Have you made your choice?” I hesitate and take a deep breath before I give her my answer.
“Yes. I’ll sell her soul for her to gain immortality. Destroy that bastard for good. And one more thing…”
“Oh? A proposition?”
“I request that Gale and I sell our souls for immortality as well.” She smirks but contemplates her next word, and it seems she isn’t against the idea. Besides, more souls for the devils means more power.
“Just so you know, this will completely unbind Gale from Mystra. He will still have his magic of course, but he will no longer be her chosen. His soul will no longer belong to her, just like how yours will no longer belong to your goddess. Would you like to proceed?” I never in a million years thought I would betray my goddess. I didn’t ask for this. I just wish we never got involved with Raphael in the first place, though that would have meant not being able to rescue Orpheus.
“This fucking sucks…but yes.”
“Perfect. Let’s take you home, shall we? Then we can handle the contract.” Before I know it, we appear back at home in the living area where Gale is sitting on the sofa, and he nearly shit his pants when we unexpectedly show up less than two feet away from him.
“Oh Gods! You scared the daylight out of me. Emmy, my love, are you alright?”
“I think so? I don’t know,” I state with mild confusion.
“Let’s get this contract started,” Zariel interrupts, and moves her hands around in an unusual motion, which causes flames to swirl around her wrists and a contract appears right before us.
“Erm…contract?” Gale questions. “Are we doing this?” I stare at the floating contract in front of us, which will change everything once signed. I realize I’ll need to cut the palm of my hand and use my blood to sign it, as will Gale.
“I spoke with Wyll and Karlach. They agreed there’s no other way out unless we wanted our daughter to be a thrall in the Hells. So… Here we are.” Gale sighs and tightly closes his eyes as we give up everything we’ve ever known: our goddess, our graceful aging, and our daughter’s future.
“Okay. Let’s do it.”
I feel the thick crimson blood pour out of my flesh as I carve it open with a silver dagger that was handed to me by Zariel. I fight back the screams as it pierces my skin, pouring out of me like a waterfall. I sign the contract and immediately my wound begins to close shut, healing almost immediately. Gale does the same, and his harsh wound heals just as rapidly. We sign the contract, and Zariel begins to speak a string of infernal words to fully validate the bloody contract.
“You will both become much more powerful than before. Are you prepared to dismiss your goddesses?” Her voice is ominous, haunting my mind as she speaks.
“I don’t crave power like I used to. Not anymore. That’s not the man I am. But… I’m also not Mystra’s plaything. Go ahead.” Gale seems ready to give up mortality and his goddess to my surprise. Part of me feels a certain pain inside as I come to the realization I’m abandoning Sȇlune.
We feel the flames consume us from head to toe, and to the cores of our souls, which travel through each layer of the Hells. A blinding light flashes in my face as my body begins to vibrate with an unfamiliar power. I feel nourished. New. Reborn. I see Gale in front of me, his skin sparkling as the flames around us vanish into dust. His body then fully appears and he appears to be in some state of shock, but in a positive way.
“Welcome to immortality,” Zariel says, a smile on her face that actually seems promising.

Only Murders 3x08 thoughts
Holy crap, what a great episode.
the DRAMA, the URGENCY—it almost felt like a finale!
the “Dickie is Loretta’s son” theory has been confirmed! I’ve seen a lot of people suggesting it for the past few weeks, and it’s always made sense to me. That whole plot added such emotion to this episode—Meryl Streep was fantastic!
speaking of which, I think Loretta and Dickie are both in the clear. She’s obviously lying to protect him, and they’re putting way too much suspicion on Dickie for him to have actually done it. I think they’re both innocent, and the season will end with them moving to L.A. to jumpstart Loretta’s career in television acting, like they were planning a few episodes ago.
that being said—in the past, the killer has usually been someone who’s been present for the entire season but never actually suspected until the end. The only person who really fits that bill is Tobert (or maybe Howard, but… c’mon, it’s not Howard lol). No idea what his motive would be, but I think that in the next episode, the trio is gonna find something incriminating/suspicious on the camera he lent Mabel.
obligatory mini celebration because Mabel is crashing at Theo’s place! Yeah, maybe it’s because she doesn’t have many friends and was fighting with Charles and Oliver at the time of her move, but crumbs are crumbs, and I’m still hoping we see a bit more of Theo in these last two episodes!
yay for Detective Williams! I’ve missed her, and I love that she’s a theater nerd lol
it’s about time they brought back Oliver’s heart attack subplot cause I was worried they’d completely forgotten about it. His scenes with Loretta were so sweet, and Martin Short was incredible! I always love his comedic work, but I especially love his more dramatic scenes because they’re so rare.
(that sad little journalist who wrote an entire article complaining about how annoying he is can go jump in a lake, btw, cause he doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about)
also, obligatory mention that Steve Martin absolutely killed that patter song, what a king
all in all, one of the strongest episodes of the season! The tension was high, and I think the presence of the orchestra added a lot of intensity. Sitzprobes can be super tedious, but this episode definitely wasn’t. Can’t wait for next week!

So I spent the better part of the last three months (how long has it been since they announced Survivor?) absolutely throwing myself into a Cal Kestis cosplay because that’s what I do I guess. You can check it out on Friday on my Insta, honey_dewbear, but as I made the damn thing, I had questions! I noticed things! And I am sharing those things/questions with you all. Because, y’know, reasons.
90% of his shirt (and presumably pant) seams are felled seams. This is both good and bad. Good because felled seams are incredibly sturdy and more likely to hold up over time, as they should in canon, so someone clearly did their research. Bad because I hate felling seams. It’s tedious and I hate it
I don’t think you all understand how desperately I want to know the canon materials used for Cal’s clothes. I have to know. I have to. I spent an hour looking for suitable fabrics. AN HOUR.
Why. Why. Why does Cal wear one sleeve rolled and the other down? Realistically I know it’s for east tattoo access but like. Roll the other one up too!!!
Cal’s gear padding is actually insulated with quilt batting. It’s very warm. And plush. And makes that leather thing actually comfortable.
Cal’s sleeves have outer seams instead of inner. This is very annoying. Very very annoying. You can’t hide messy outer seams.
Someone please tell me how BD-1 is staying on Cal’s back. Because there’s no grip, no straps, no nothing.
fUCK FELLED SEAMS
Cal- Cal has- on his arm- he has-
Excuse me while I go cry
Words cannot describe how weird this pant material is. It looks like denim? But also canvas duck? I got canvas duck, but like what is it actually made of?????
Cal’s pants have leather patches on his ass. It’s probably to reinforce that commonly-used area. I think it’s just funny.
There’s a red and blue patch on Cal’s left shoulder that I desperately want to know what it looks like. Does it have words??? What does it say????
Patch update because I found a real reference. It doesn’t say anything. It’s pure gibberish. I’m gonna vote that it’s a patch Cal found for that Huttese band because it’s written in Huttese.
What the fuck is in all those goddamn canisters he carries around? Are they stims? Caffeine shots? Liquor?
Someone please explain exactly what every single patch and canister and pouch on Cal’s outfit does/holds. I have to know. For science.
tHE LITTLE ORANGE WATER BOTTLE MY BELOVED. I DIDNT HAVE ONE BUT ITS MY FAVORITE ACCESSORY PIECE
Unrelated to the costume but the concept art for Cal? Yeah he looks like a child in that. That’s a babey. I can believe that boy is eighteen at best.
And we’ve come full circle to why the hell does Cal only wear one goddamn glove? AND ITS NOT EVEN HIS SABER HAND.
The pink poncho is my favorite and I realized it’s the exact same shade of pink as two of the walls at my workplace. Crumbl Cookie Pink Poncho
Cal’s got a broad ass chest. Or maybe I’m just. Not broad-chested
I’m noticing very quickly that there aren’t many reference photos for Cal. Huh.
Weathering this costume is gonna hurt because each sleeve took me a couple of hours. HOURS.
Cal’s sleeve/shirt/pant patches are super funny to me because they’re thick and padded and to make them more comfortable for me (and also appropriately thick), I used bright pink fleece because it was what I had lying around. So that’s my new headcanon. Cal’s clothes are padded with a variety of funny colored fleece patches
Cal has significantly longer proportions than I do (I’m short) and so everything looks absolutely tiny. But nope, it’s all right, I’m just not tall.
It was at this stage in the game (just under halfway done) that I was debating making Cal’s glove by hand so the fabric would be the same. I will get back to you on whether or not I would soon regret this decision.
The leather vest piece thing is my favorite part of this costume. It’s so cool!
It also stinks of foam and leather
Does Cal wear his pants cuffed? DOES HE????
Tried to make the glove and gave up immediately. Decided to just use the same one I had for Hera Syndulla.
Cal’s pants are sectioned in a very odd way that I had a tough time replicating. Mid thigh seams???? I don’t understand.
Cal’s lightsaber is really cool, honestly one of my favorite designs in all of Star Wars, but, uh, how does he clip it to his belt?
We’re back to the fact that he has so many pouches and pockets and I desperately need to know what each one has in it. Does he keep little granola bars? Money? Tools? I have to know!
I’m still, literally still stuck up on what all the little identification rectangles on the shirt/belt/pant pocket are. Do they identify Cal’s clothes as his? Are they for funsies? A guild identification? WHAT ARE THEY?

Just an ordinary, non Minecraft Story Mode question here! What are you thoughts on AI, like voice synthesis and image generation and all that? Cool, scary, or no opinion?
The arguments about AI remind me of when CG animation (both 3D and 2D) first started to become a thing; the arguments were incredibly similar. People on one side cheered that computers could now animate things, the other side lived in fear of their jobs being stolen, or derision of the whole thing. (I worked with a lot of 90s Disney animators who turned up their nose at CG and refused to learn about it because they thought it would never amount to anything.) The truth ended up being somewhere in the middle; computers could do a lot of the tedious tasks, but the majority of the process still needed human, artistic hands.
Fast forward a few decades, and CG animation has just become one more set of tools - sometimes they’re used to make beautiful art, sometimes they’re used to make cheap garbage. Depends on the person wielding it and their intentions.
I think AI “artist” tools like speech synthesis and image generation will be very similar. You’ll see people try to create things using only AI and it’ll be soulless garbage, just like you’ll see people using it to create really interesting new things. I don’t think AI Tools will ever be able to do everything that the tech dudes pushing them think, but I also think they’re more capable than the AI hating artists will give them credit for.
Hope there’s an answer somewhere in there; it’s complicated for sure!

Mars Chapter 7
“You’ve been around even less than I have and I’m actually in active combat,” Wolffe snapped finally. Cody could remember all too well what had started the argument between them. It was a near constant thing on their calls by now. One of them would indirectly accuse Fox of not visiting when they were on Coruscant, or not calling in at all and Fox would respond in turn with scathing remarks. For most of them, communication was sparse nowadays. The only reason they managed to call once a week at all was because Cody had applied for a check-in between their commanders regularly. Creating encrypted lines for open communication between Commanders, especially those off on assignment, was a difficult process requiring permission from someone high ranking than a Cody was, someone who wasn’t just a clone. But Cody had been prepared to fight tooth and nail for it. General Kenobi had signed off on it without batting an eye.
“You have no idea what it’s like here,” Fox was snapped right back at his brother, and Cody wished he could just leave. A few months ago he was always excited for his call with his batch. Even the General noticed, and had taken, at some point, to teasing him good-naturedly about it. In return, he poked fun at the near imperceptible skip in his step whenever their leave happened to coincide with General Skywalker and Commander Tano’s. But now the whole process was becoming tedious. He loved his batch, truly, but he loved the crew of The Negotiator as well, and their peace was usually undisturbed.
He’d been in a similarly good mood today, the broad grin on his face fading into a more concentrated one as he began working earlier that day, pursing his lips. Though the task of painting his new armor had required his full attention, it did not dampen the content radiating from him. Cody had been torn between leaving and staying once the time for his call had creeped closer and closer. But he refused to miss an appointment, even if it was usually more of a social call than not. He missed his batch and wanted to know that they were okay. Even if it caused the General to make those sad eyes at him, curved downwards with his brows.
Their fight had faded into background noise to Cody, who was debating whether to just call it quits. Gree had gotten involved as well, trying to quell both sides, though he was struggling without the support of Bly, who was busy, and Cody, who’d entirely checked out.
“And look at Cody!” He snapped back into focus at the mention of his name from Fox. “His High General can’t do much of anything. They’re woefully incompetent and so light-hearted about it.”
Cody’s expression pulled into a frown instantly. “They’ve also been forced into this war, Fox.”
“No, they’re just here because their holier-than-thou attitude wouldn’t let them stay out of it!” Though the noise was not picked up by the projector, Fox had slammed his helmet down on the table, eyes narrowed with anger.
He’d pushed it too far this time, and Cody was already in a bad mood. There were few points to hit that would make Cody lash out. The General’s abilities were one of them, apparently.
But it wasn’t enough to goad him into a fight with his brother.
“We’re done here,” he declared instead and turned off his holoprojector.
Usually, Bly, Cody, and Gree managed to wrangle them back into order. Most times, that meant chewing them out for a minute and then changing the subject. Sometimes, it meant removing them from the call for a few minutes to let them both calm down.
They had all changed so much. Bly, though still desperately in love with his General, felt more subdued now, less prone to outbursts of emotion whether joyous or sad or upset. Cody had met Aayla Secura briefly some time ago, and taken the opportunity to grill General Kenobi about her. Discreetly. Giving the shovel talk to a Jedi was both incredibly stupid and counterintuitive, but he could still dig up what information he could find. And by all accounts, she was wonderful.
“She’s quite taken with her Commander too,” General Kenobi’s eyes had near twinkled, scrunching together at the edges with a mixture of mischief and mirth. “One smypathizes.”
Cody had nearly missed the next step of the stairs while focused on his expression, his heel slipping off uncomfortably. “Careful there,” General Kenobi laughed, “you don’t know your way around here like I do.”
“It’s not that I don’t know my way around,” Cody grumbled, a tinge of red on his cheeks thankfully hidden by his helmet. “Your Force lets you see everything, it’s an unfair advantage.”
The General’s expression faltered a moment, the smile slipping from his face. Instead, his brows pulled together and upwards and his gaze shifted downward. “Not everything, dear.” Cody had immediately regretted bring up the Force. The General shook himself out of the mood quickly, moving on to show him the fountains and botanical gardens of the Temple. But the feeling stuck with him, the urge to pull that expression off his face and back into what it had been.
Bly had moaned at them often, early on, about how amazing General Secura was. He didn’t say “and I’m not” but they all heard it. Now, he didn’t talk about it much, though anybody working with them could still see it plainly on his face. Gree had spent an entire post-mission debrief slyly jabbing at Bly’s infatuation as he became redder and redder until he finally shoved his bucket back on in defeat.
The stresses of Command were getting to Fox more than any of them had thought they would. He was lovingly dubbed their youngest brother. Though he was faster on his feet than most of the other cadets, he was slowest out of the command batch. And he had been naive to boot, bright eyed and shiny and ignorant of everything Cody struggled to reconcile, especially about the Jedi. Each of them were protective of him, but there was little they could do to actually shield him. He should have been prepared, as each of them were. Stressed, yes, but not overwhelmed.
Cody had a bad feeling something more was going on. But there was no one for him to turn to with his concerns for him.
-
much love to my incredible and patient beta @cassie-isms

I know I said I would wait...but Hacks s02e03 and 04 thoughts under the cut...
Look, it definitely gets a bit better than the first two eps, and there was quite a few moments where I really laughed out loud...but they were like little boats (ships lol)  in a sea of unfortunate continued okay-ness
The Good
1. I fucking love Weed so much. I hope she’s not gone for good, because I feel like her character has been chiefly played for laughs, without the opportunity of real depth every other side-character got last season. She ate some of D’s night cream cause she thought it was dip. COME ON.
2. The lesbian cruise was inspired and holy shit LPJ have been reading our fics...it’s embarrassing..but also... there were so many moments I actually hollered out loud. DEB GIVING AVA A MANICURE?!!!!??? I mean I don’t wanna say queer-baiting, but if that’s how they’re gonna do it, I’m fine with it. I liked how it all went well for Deborah, until her internalised misogyny bit her in the ass. I like that she wingmanned for Ava and considered where she stands sexually with Ava’s help. Loved that for both of them.
3. I enjoyed the moment where D turns the bus around and then gets in the dumpster with Ava. Like you can’t even pretend you hate her for longer than five minutes. That’s true love baby.
4. Same with how she essentially flirted with the young female comic to make Ava jealous. ‘What beautiful hands you have’???? I mean COME ON.
The Bad
1. The pacing continues to be whack. Like everything feels like it’s been condensed to the barest emotional beats. One minute they’re in the dumpster kind of okay again, the next they’re at the grand canyon? I feel like a little more emotional warm-up would have made that moment so much weightier.
The first season was this lovely slow immersion into Deborah and her Vegas world. Everything took time, and felt incredibly earned. Nothing in season two has felt like that so far, and honestly that is my biggest issue with it.
2. I loathed it when Deborah started singing, and the cruise audience sang along with her. It feels like another tedious example of Girlboss!Vance, and not like something that would organically happen.
3. Damian should have more scenes.
4. Marcus should have less scenes. I think he’s fine, but I think the writers give his boring-ass character way too much screen-time, when they could be focusing on Weed, or Damian, or DJ, or literally anyone else. But then, historically, I am a Marcus-hater so this point might truly be personal.
Anyway, those are my thoughts, I’m not going to even pretend that more hot-takes aren't coming next Thursday.
The one nice element to all of this is that the second season being this mediocre, actually makes me feel like getting back to work on my multi-chapter Hacks WIP, which I thought S2 would make completely obsolete. So there is that.

For the tropes: fuck or die; fake dating; mistaken identity; stockholm syndrome
fuck or die: gotta be a C- for me 😅 I don’t go searching for it and I generally don’t feel compelled to click on fics with it. I mostly see it in the form of bad guys made ‘em do it or sex pollen which usually renders the characters feeling incredibly distressed/guilty the entire time or just feeling too horny to be aware, and both of these things are distracting for me HAHA. of course, specific and creative fic situations can get me to read it and it’s not an immediate squicky nope. so it can depend on the writing and also my mood!
fake dating: also a C- 🤨 I can’t really think of a particular reason why. none of my most favorite/memorable fics ever have fake dating as the sole or main trope. I do know that I’m far more inclined for fake dating if it’s less to fool friends and family and more to fool an informal 3rd party. for example, I would rather click on a fic where two people fake a marriage due to visa issues than someone needing a plus one for a wedding or lying to an ex about having a significant other + needing to keep the lie going if that makes sense!
mistaken identity: this one can be interpreted in many ways 😤 “I don’t believe you’re this person you say you are” gets a D; “I thought you were an enemy in the dark so I accidentally stabbed you” gets a B; “person has sex… in the dark… or with a blindfold(?) thinking the other person is their SO the whole time when they’re not” gets a C; “oh, you must be his husband! (you are not his husband at all)” gets a D; “someone is kidnapped bc kidnappers thought they were someone else” gets a B; things more categorized under identify porn get an A- from me because identity squares can become tedious sometimes but the ensuing angst and shenanigans are mostly fun to watch!!
stockholm syndrome: A 😳 LOL. rises to A+ tier when whoever being stockholmed kinda has a screw loose already and the Situation just knocks that screw out. I’m not fond of straight up non-con which a lot of fics that fall under this tag have, but I like basically all the other elements in it; it’s even pretty fun for gen fics where there’s no romance but the MC is adamant on defending their kidnapper afterward. buuuut I think using the romance slash tag makes it more viable for the author to go deeper into darker/creepier scenes that typical gen fics don’t go for. most of all, I love the fight the MC always has with themselves in this type of fic, the back and forth between this person has made my life a living hell and oh no them being nice for even 5 seconds makes my stomach flutter (which might not occur if not for the isolation, trauma, etc). not only that, there’s sometimes pretty delicious build-up of the MC being forced to use their head and be clever, negotiate for “privileges” or show off their resilience. we get to see whumped!MC that was maybe already pretty lonely before ends up being cared for and pampered. this goes without saying, there’s the you’ve broken my rules so here’s your taste of pain. or sometimes there’s no violence and it’s just spending so much time with mainly only one other person makes your brain wonky. often a big theme is the “we have to fight to get out” goal becoming smaller and smaller and overtaken by the “but wouldn’t it be nice to just stay here instead?” and seeing how the author decides to spin the ending. it might be that they both die, that MC has to kill their kidnapper to get out, that MC becomes fully stockholmed even after being saved, that MC “fixes” their kidnapper and they all live happily ever after. oh BOY this one got really long, but I had a lot to say about the trope that might give some insight that people haven’t thought about before esp from someone who really likes reading stockholm syndrome fics but really doesn’t like non-con 😅

7 Reasons to Build Command Line Utilities in C# and Python
Tumblr media
The command line still has its place in today’s world, and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Instead of dismissing the command line, embrace it, as you’ll be surprised how much easier it can make your life if you know how to use it well. In this article I’m going to tell you 7 reasons why you should learn how to build C# and Python command line utilities because you’ll need them throughout your development career.
 1) C# and Python are powerful languages
The first reason is that both languages support several different operating systems - Windows, Linux, Unix/BSD variants (including MacOS). The second reason is because they're dynamically typed. A third benefit of using either language is that they support  mobile app development company object-oriented programming as well as functional programming paradigms. The fourth benefit is the fact that both languages provide garbage collection which means you don't need to worry about memory management within your code - an especially helpful feature when writing small command line utilities. Another reason why you might want to choose either language for building CLI tools is the fact that both support exceptions and have strong exception handling capabilities - allowing your programs to gracefully recover from errors without crashing.
 2) They are easy to learn
Command line utilities are incredibly useful for automating processes, running tasks on remote systems, and for other advanced tasks. Building them is surprisingly easy, as both C# and Python are great languages for creating command line utilities. In this section, we'll take a look at why both of these languages make it so easy to build command line utilities.
First, both C# and Python are easy to learn. Even if you have no previous experience with either language, the syntax of both languages is straightforward and relatively simple to understand. With a few tutorials, you can have the basics of either language down in no time.
Second, the development environments for both languages are well-supported and feature-rich. Visual Studio is the go-to IDE for C#, while PyCharm is a great choice for Python. Both IDEs come with a wealth of features to help streamline your development process, including debugging tools, code completion, and other helpful features.
Third, both languages also come with a variety of libraries that make building command line utilities easier. For instance, the .NET Core framework for C# includes a library specifically for building command line utilities. On the other hand, Python comes with the argparse library which makes it easy to parse command line arguments.
Finally, both languages also have extensive online resources available to help you learn and develop in them. For example, there are dozens of tutorials and blogs available to help you get started with either language. Plus, there are plenty of online communities where you can ask questions and get support from other developers.
In short, C# and Python are great choices for building command line utilities because they are easy to learn, have great development environments and libraries, and have plenty of online resources available to help you along the way.
 3) They are widely used
Command Line Utilities are an essential tool for developers. They are widely used by engineers to simplify the process of developing, testing, and debugging applications. Command Line Utilities can automate tedious tasks, save time, and increase productivity.
C# and Python are two popular programming languages that can be used to create powerful Command Line Utilities. C# is a statically typed language with strong type safety, meaning it allows developers to write code quickly and accurately without worrying about unexpected results. Python is a dynamically typed language with greater flexibility and ease of use.
The wide range of libraries and frameworks available for both C# and Python make creating Command Line Utilities faster and easier than ever before. These tools provide developers with access to pre-made functions and components, so they can spend less time developing from scratch and more time building out the actual application.
C# and Python are also compatible with a range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. This makes them ideal for creating Command Line Utilities that can be used on any platform. Plus, since these languages are widely used, developers can easily find help online when they get stuck.
 4) They are open source
The beauty of building command line utilities in C# and Python is that both languages are open source. This means that the source code is freely available for anyone to use, modify, and redistribute. This provides a lot of flexibility when it comes to creating custom tools or integrating existing utilities into larger applications.
Open source also encourages collaboration, allowing developers to work together to create and maintain tools that benefit the entire community. Furthermore, open source solutions often come with more detailed documentation and support, making it easier to find help when you need it. With open source tools, you can focus more on your development project rather than having to spend time worrying about licensing costs and restrictions.
 5) They have a large community
Having a large community is one of the most important aspects when it comes to developing command line utilities in C# and Python. Communities are an invaluable resource for developers of all experience levels, as they provide a platform to ask questions, discuss best practices, and find solutions to common problems.
The C# and Python communities are incredibly active, with members from all over the world contributing to help out others in need. There are dedicated forums, IRC channels, StackOverflow questions, and even conferences and meetups dedicated to C# and Python development. These large, passionate communities provide a wealth of knowledge and experience for developers who want to learn more about building command line utilities.
In addition to having an active community, C# and Python also benefit from having large ecosystems of libraries and frameworks available. Popular libraries like NLog and log4net make it easy to create logging functionality, while powerful frameworks like Flask and Nancy can help you build powerful web applications. With so many resources available, it’s easy to find the tools you need to build a great command line utility.
 6) They are supported by Microsoft
One of the biggest advantages of using C# and Python to build Command Line Utilities is that they are supported by Microsoft. This means that developers can take advantage of the robust development tools available from the Microsoft platform, such as Visual Studio Code, to create powerful command line applications. Additionally, developers can use the .NET and Python frameworks to develop reliable command line tools. This ensures that your tools will be compatible with different platforms and operating systems. With the help of Microsoft's documentation and support, you can quickly become a master of building command line tools.
 7) Some Other Benefits
Both C# and Python are considered to be relatively easy     to learn and understand, making them great choices for developers of any     skill level.
C# and Python are both known for their readability,     which makes them great for quickly building command line applications.
C# and Python are both highly flexible languages,     meaning that developers can build command line applications for a variety     of different platforms.
When it comes to speed, C# and Python both offer     developers plenty of options. C# is known for its blazing fast     performance, while Python offers a slightly slower but still efficient     approach.
With C# and Python, developers can create almost     anything they set their minds to. From mobile apps to machine learning     algorithms, the sky's the limit when it comes to these two languages.
Both C# and Python are open source languages, which     means that developers can freely modify and improve them without having to     worry about licensing costs or restrictions.
Both C# and Python are  mobile application development company secure languages that offer     developers plenty of options when it comes to protecting their     applications from potential threats.
When compared to other popular languages, both C# and     Python tend to be relatively affordable choices for developers.
Final Thoughts
As you can see, there are plenty of great reasons to consider using C# and Python for building command line utilities. With their ease of use, readability, flexibility, speed, popularity, versatility, open source nature, security, and cost effectiveness, it's no wonder why these two languages are so popular among developers today.

All the Halone and Llymlaen questions! (For Milo and Tatjenen, and Aurelle too if you'd like!)
Oho I will do Milo and Tatjenen, but only them because I don’t have enough of Aurelle mapped out just yet to give definite answers ;w;
For Milo:
Halone, the Fury
1. How protective is your character over their possessions and/or loved ones?
Milo is very protective of his possessions. After the calamity he had nothing but the clothes upon his back and his pack, containing only his mother’s jewelry, a knife, rope, and a small stuffed rabbit she gave him. All throughout working his way through kitchens and inns in order to build a life for himself, that bag was his home, and he has taken great care of those items. He has that attitude about everything he buys for his home and his closet. With people, he is quick to stand up for those he cares for, and although he’s not the strongest, he’ll at least try to be that for them.
2. How stubborn is your character?
He surprisingly isn’t all that stubborn - so it’s a bit awkward when he actually does push back on something.
3. Is your character more defensive or offensive when in battle?
Mi is a lot more defensive than offensive - he keeps his distance, and focuses on evasive methods and if he needs to attack. He prefers to have space between himself and his opponent, and normally uses ranged weapons such as a bow, chakrams, or talthums with the goal to disarm rather than hurt.
Llymlaen, the Navigator
13. Is there a place they haven’t seen that they wish to see before they die?
Fortunately no. At most he is content to die on the Source once he completes his contract with his gift, and that is good enough for him. Not everything is meant to be seen to him, and he is content not seeing all of the world’s secrets before he passes if it means he actually gets to pass on.
14. Favorite place they’ve been to?
Urth’s Gift and the lake in the Slyphlands. Urth’s Gift isn’t his favorite because he likes it, but because it’s a place that he feels normal and settled, despite the energy of the area being a little unsettling for those attuned to it.  Both are places he likes to idle in alone, hand upon crystal and stone or sitting by the lake pulling his fingers through the water. Although the latter is incredibly dangerous to traverse, he manages alone. They’re perhaps places he prefers to never be approached at, which is rare for him.
15. How adventurous is your character?
Quite adventurous! Milo took a chance on a very small part of the world that he was fortunate enough to witness in his youth while playing the harpsichord and harp competitively, and he left home with basically nothing. He’s taken to the world and wants to be a part of it, with all of it’s danger and heartbreaks and joys and stories.
For Tatjenen:
Halone, the Fury
1. How protective is your character over their possessions and/or loved ones?
Tatjenen is not protective at all towards his things - he’s had to replace so many of his possessions due to his condition, and expects people to exit his life almost as soon as they enter it for mostly the same reason. He might put himself between a certain someone and danger, hell, he’d end the world for him. And his two friends, of course - he doesn’t have many, so those who stick with him are fiercely cherished.
2. How stubborn is your character?
He wouldn’t say he’s stubborn! Just.... persuasive. Tatjenen gets what he wants through tedious and difficult means most of the time to ensure that he never owes another, checked five times over for potential stopgaps to sweeten the deal and loopholes to tie up any loose ends all on his own.  He won’t ever appear stubborn and is incredibly discreet with his methods - as long as you don’t get in the way of whatever he’s trying to get.
3. Is your character more defensive or offensive when in battle?
Defensive, in the way being in melee range is incredibly dangerous for his opponent. He’s not protecting himself, so to speak. His weapon of choice is a polearm, switching between a glaive, naginata, or sovnya - although his grip is closer to the opposite end of the blade, and very loose. He’s very quick to drop it for hand-to-hand combat if you’re close enough, and that’s where he’s actually a force to be reckoned with.
Llymlaen, the Navigator
13. Is there a place they haven’t seen that they wish to see before they die?
Not a physical place, just internal healing - Tatjenen would like more than anything to not worry the man he loves nearly every night, his condition is exhausting. He would like to return together, though.
14. Favorite place they’ve been to?
This may sound strange, but his garden. It’s his so of course he thinks it’s the best, but he lives on a hill with an unobstructed view of the sunset every evening. Call him vain, but he has had days where he’s just sat himself in the dirt with a hand mirror to watch his eyes change with the sky, singing to himself the entire time. His tomatoes seem to like that.
15. How adventurous is your character?
Tatjenen would say he gets enough adventure just trying to sleep - and he isn’t wrong in the slightest - but considering that, his work, spending his free time in Pandaemonium of all places, and his eventual position as Azem, it’s clear that even if he claims to not be fond of adventure, he’s always meant to be in the middle of one.

How Does Sales Automation Work? 07 Important Steps in Sales Automation.
There are seven steps in the sales automation process:
Automated guidance
Lead management automation
Communication automation
Automated data entry
Automated research
Automated activity logging
Automated record creation
Let’s get into the details.
Automated guidance
With this form of automation, the sales teams receive reminders and notes from the sales automation software. This keeps the reps on-task and prevents them from missing important prospects who could be converted into paying customers.
Lead management automation
Speaking of converting prospects into customers, there’s lead management automation.
With this step of automation, the sales executive can use rules and filters that allow them to create a more curated list of leads.
Based on lead characteristics and behavior, including email opens, click-through rates, and social searches, your sales automation software can easily segment and score your leads and divide them into neat lists or ‘buckets’ to work on.

Communication automation
From sales email automation to automated voicemails, appointment scheduling tools, and personal email sequences, communication automation matters a lot.
With automated voicemails, the sales reps can pre-record a message at their leisure that the lead or customer receives when they don’t answer the phone. This prevents the agent from having to come up with responses on the spot, again and again.
With built-in appointment scheduling, your sales agents can work with customers quickly and conveniently to schedule meetings based on when they’re both available. The software does all the tracking, so nobody has to make notes. The software sends reminders to the sales reps and customers as well.
With personalized sales email sequences, customers can keep receiving important information in bits and pieces about the product or service on sale.
Then there’s sales email automation, which can automate tasks like unsubscribing the email addresses of inactive subscribers from the email lists. This helps save time and reduce bounce rates and spam complaints.
Automated data entry
Data entry can be incredibly tedious and time-consuming, but it’s also a duty that’s unavoidable. Well, that was before the proliferation of sales automation tools.
By auto-filling sales data like prices, product details, and contact details for leads and customers, the sales automation software streamlines contact management and saves valuable hours for your sales reps every day.
Automated research
Sales automation software goes beyond the sales team’s human ability to shake down the web and social media for key information on prospects and customers.
It uses that information to create and update lead profiles, score leads on their win probability, and identify hot sales opportunities.
This helps the sales reps incredibly because it saves them time and ensures that they are constantly up to date on the latest information about their contacts and prospects.
All this knowledge is stored in a central repository so it can be easily accessed by all members of the sales team.
Automated activity logging
Sales emails, phone calls, in-person visits: all this needs to get logged in real-time, so other reps know how far one rep has gotten with a prospective customer.
Automated activity logging does all that for the agent, once again saving them a lot of time to focus more on lead generation and closing deals.
Automated record creation
When your sales teams scan business cards or receive newsletter opt-in confirmations, they can simply let the sales automation software create the new records and profiles.
As record creation is automated, the sales reps are relieved of a major time-wasting task. They can instead focus on closing deals with hot leads that the software identifies for them.

ever since kian was young enough to form proper memories, he’s been in love with being the center of attention. there’s nothing more pleasant to him than the warmth of a spotlight, or the undivided attention given to him by another person. as a kid, he was put front and center in the band he made with his siblings, and in middle school, when a couple of guys invited him to join their music group, they also made him their frontman; his warm, inviting, and often infectious aura making him a joy to watch on stage. not only that, but he dons a convivial smile on his face wherever he goes, and it’s rather easy for him to make friends. life’s a party whenever kian’s around, and that’s a quality people adore about him.
he can make the simplest outings feel fun and exciting, and his natural exuberance is a huge cause of this. however, despite being a lover of positive attention and being a genuinely open-minded person, kian sometimes has a strong reaction to negative criticism; often using it as a means to be hard on himself. it’s incredibly easy for him to feel the pressure to be perfect, and whenever he feels like he’s not, it tanks his spirits. additionally, he tends to be a rather conflict averse person, especially if the conflict itself centers around him specifically. he’s a master of using his charm and wit to talk people out of being mad at him, but that doesn’t always work well in the long-run. another issue he faces is that he’s easily bored, and this causes him to be incredibly impulsive.
he’s someone that doesn’t think before he acts, and it’s hard for him to remain focused on things, but he tries his best to be better about these specific flaws as they seem to only cause problems for him and the people around him, as well. overall, he encompasses basically of the facets of being an esfp.

pathfinders tend to have a fear of missing out, as well as a deep desire to keep the good vibes going, and these are both accurate for kian. above all, the only thing that truly matters to him is that he’s fulfilled and content. if he’s doing what he loves and he’s nourishing his passions, then nothing can bring him down. he loves being apart of a group, he remains optimistic in all situations, and he’s fantastic at cheering people up if they’re sad. with that being said, however, he struggles with a lot of toxic positivity sometimes. he convinces himself that he’s happy even when he’s unhappy, and he rationalizes negative feelings away instead of dealing with them properly, which is not a great approach to confronting issues and moving on from his problems. he would much rather remain in a blissful state of ignorance as long as possible before coming face-to-face with a pressing obstacle. this is something that’s bothered his parents about him in the past, but he often doesn’t listen to their worries, much to their chagrin.
other issues he faces that align with an enneagram type 7w6 is that he is easily influenced by the opinions of other people, and that makes him easily hurt by harsh criticism; he has a tendency to become hellishly bored and distractible with tedious tasks; self-doubt is often a killer of his spirits that he tries to conquer but often to no avail; and he’s disorganized in a manner that impedes on his daily life. all these combined make a rather strict training regiment at legacy entertainment difficult for him to maintain sometimes, but because he’s able to work hard at making improvements on the things he loves, he shrugs off most of the issues that arise for him. it’s sometimes not the most responsible thing to do, but it keeps his head on his shoulders in this dog-eat-dog industry, and at times, that’s all he needs. he’s simpleminded, and whether that’s good or bad is debatable.

kian’s daemon is a caprine that takes the form of a caucasian tur. while my knowledge on daemons is quite limited, from what i could gleam from kian’s results, it’s fitting to him in that a caprine tends to not think things through. this aligns with him beautifully. they’re also described as “sure-footed” and “gregarious,” both of which are great descriptors for certain aspects of his disposition. despite acting impulsively and occasionally landing in trouble, they’re fiercely loyal to their friends. kian tends to do this nowadays, even if he ditched his old bandmates to be a trainee at legacy entertainment. he’s learned to value friendship a lot, and is happy to go all out to prove his friends that they can rely on him even if he can be all-over-the-place most of the time.
another caprine trait is that they’re often introspective. kian mirrors this behavior by remaining in his head a lot of the time. he has many friends, sure, but a majority are kept at an arm’s length because he often feels that his thoughts are weird, or that if people actually knew what was on his mind, they’d think he was dumb. he gets lost in thought a lot; often about nonsensical things that he feels no one else will understand.
overall, after learning about daemons and those who are caprine, it’s been enlightening to learn that kian can develop into someone with natural leadership skills, a more humble attitude, and the ability to problem solve with his impulsive thinking. if he manages it well, this often negative trait of his can be transformed into a good thing. unfortunately, he’s not at this point in his life right now, but it’s exciting to think that he may end up relating to these great qualities in the future.
