Something about Tuca and Bertie that I really appreciate is that we have a more subdued and practically minded character who loves to bake and has a steady boyfriend who is sure she doesn’t want children and a party animal free spirit character who is concerned about whether or not she’ll be able to have children.

A lot of people assume that women who don’t want kids want to party forever and women who have the traits we associate with maternal figures must want them, and it’s really nice to see the opposite portrayed.
