it's super obvious who i am from having reblogged it but i guess i'm asking politely if you're familiar with the author of the work in which that occultism diagram appears? it really jarred me to see it; rudolf steiner was an originator and champion of pseudoscientific claims that still circulate today (and cite him as a source!), denier of historical events, and founder of a schooling system that really, really does not do children any good (biased claim, i was waldorf schooled, it felt culty and stunted my development massively; they'd regularly discipline children for reading above their waldorf level ie. at all before age 6). a lot of his ideas are fascinating and sort of fun as a quaint footnote or oddity and surface level occultist value, but the general impact he had leaves a sour taste in my mouth. not asking you to take it down or anything, just one of those posts/topics that can do with a wee bit of context and i don't think is well known outside countries that still have waldorf schools :')

thanks for this context - i didn't recognize his name or know of his involvement with waldorf schools & pseudoscience. that sounds super fucked up. i just thought the post was vaguely interesting as a (very) amateur student of philosophy. i'm gonna leave it up for now but i do appreciate the background info!

Yesterday I wrote about discovering the Tide in you. It may take a few efforts to discover the sensation that ascends and descends in your central energy channel. That sensation forms the basis of our inherent healing process, aka swirliness. It’s there, working for us, maintaining life, all of the time, in various forms: Tide, stillpoints, swirliness. Like the solid sound of hard rain, my meditation felt solid and full. Breathing, ajna chakra, Tide, sit bones, radiance at my face, abdomen, cranium. A sensation I’ve occasionally felt before, of something almost like pressure against my body. This time, pressure surrounding my cranium. Is it shaping me? Is it trying to get inside me? Mystery. This energy exchange? That is maybe the point of Biodynamics. It's the ultimate witchcraft 😆

Yes it's about tending to the individual needs of each plant, and sure the lunar cycles matter for their care but it's easy to get caught up in 'rules'.

I think it's mainly seeing yourself as just a small, interconnected part of the biome equation, a role to fulfil, some intent to add in, where the outcome is less about yield and more about putting back in balance to what you take out. The abundance follows relative to the energy.

I believe it's also about leaving things better than they were before. Yourself included.
