Raph had to sort of admit to himself. Donnie was cute when invested in something, telling them about his turn into a vampire well he wasn't all to sure what to make of it. But they didn't seem to put off about it if anything? He seemed insanely curious maybe even fascinated by this whole vampire thing. Honestly that was part of why Raphael found he liked this Donatello. Something about just how overly invested he got about things that piqued his interests how they went from the overly smart ass to genuinely curious. Watching the gears in his brain seeming to turn as Raphael sat in their lab.

He was mostly just explaining what happened and lead to him being a vampire now. Answering whatever he could when they asked. For someone who seemed to hate anything to do with magic he seem to find this an exception. Raphael hadn't even really minding when they wanted a closer look at his fangs.

Thought having him so close to his personal space like this? was a bit much even fro Raphael. Trying to keep his attention on anywhere that wasn't Donatello in the moment. He been drinking that fake blood his own Don made but it wasn't all that great. Maybe it was because they were so close but he swears he can hear their blood moving through their veins in the moment. Swallowing thickly hes trying so hard to resist the voice in the back of his head telling him to feed.

At last Donatello pulled away seemed to work over thoughts in his head. And Raphael found himself able to breath again. "Ya done here? I ain't up for being one of your weird experiments" Raphael tosses out as he feels at his jaw a moment. before reaching for on of the vials of 'blood' he needed to drink when ever he felt the need to feed creep up on him. "It's that fake blood my bro made for me" Raph idly answers the unasked question. Looking a bit unenthusiastic to drink it. "It taste awful honestly don' got the same taste as real blood. Hard to explain but it's like drinkin' a diet pop."

"Bite me. Literally - please?"

"Wha?" Was all Raph could think to say just then look to Donnie he could see that mad scientist glow in his eyes when he offered the suggestion. Raph slightly blushed before rubbing at the back of his neck. "uh ya sure mean it means a lotta of touchin' ya know?" he didn't seem to mind. And well why should Raph pass this up? He was offering after all? moving to stand and let Don sit down now.

"Fine but don' get mad if ya change ya mind mid way through cause it hurts or somethin' though I ain't all to sure how it really works. I only feed off rats never like well a person or mutant. Can' really ask a rat how it feels after all." Part of him wonders if he needs to tell any Splinter sorry for that now that he thinks about it. But Donatello seemed pretty sure about his choice.

Raphael leaned down a bit setting a hand on one of his shoulders. well taking hold of their jaw in his other so to help adjust their neck. His heart started to beat fast in his shell. Since it was their idea he saw no need for his hypnotic gaze right now. He let his tongue hang out and drag it against their neck mapping out the vine he needed to aim for. Well testing the waters here right now. If this was too much they could stop but he seemed good still maybe far to invested to want to stop even. Baring his fangs now as he press the sharp ends of his fangs into their neck still they seemed ready to go through before he sinks them into their neck. Till his beak pressed against their neck.

It's oddly intimate with a person. Raphael notes as he closes his eyes and finds the vine letting his teeth break through it as the warmth of their blood starts to pool from his bite. Savoring the first drops as they land on his tongue. It taste far better than rat's blood did, gently sucking in against their neck to drink their blood down has suck an oddly pleasantly buzzing effect working over Raphael. Hes not sure if its because its different or if it his blood that's doing it too him. Hes not even sure when to stop part of his doesn't want to but he needs to or he may never get to drink their blood again this was already such a risky gamble. Some form of willing found as Raphael pulls away slowly from their neck licking at his beak once hes done.

"uh ya okay there Don?" He offers as he wipes their blood off from his mouth. "Didn' bite ya too hard right? had to a bit cause thick skin ya know?" He waits for them to get back with it as he shifts on his feet wondering if he plays his cards right if they will let him drink his blood again.

There is no purer delight in my life than watching children nervously hold out their hands, waiting for me to place a gentle mouse in them, and then watching their entire face light up in unrefined joy upon suddenly holding a small, soft, warm critter in their hands. There is no number of three year olds nervously petting a mouse for the first time with a single finger, then realizing how soft the mouse is and eagerly continuing with their whole hand that will ever cause me to tire of it.

And my tricolor boy was an absolute star today. He figured out what was going on after about 2 seconds and started laying down in hands and sitting perfectly still for people to gently stroke. Big ears forward and ready. I watched one small child maybe 4 or 5, pick him up the way small children pick up cats with their arms all squished up by their face and he let her. He fell asleep for a bit while snuggled against one girl's chest, while she told me about her pet rats.

One girl confidently told her friends that she was an expert at holding mice because she had 4 of them. One teen boy just made a teakettle noise of joy the entire time the mice I let him hold were in his hands. One older woman, at least 70s, came back several times before she was brave enough to hold one. Dozens of people told me they didn't know mice were so soft. One family stood at the table and played 20 questions with me, and the dad just saying "that's amazing that's just amazing, I had no idea" in a low, soft voice and I hope he comes out of whatever crisis of paradigm he was having okay.

One little boy kept returning and grabbing the youngest of the mice. I told him a couple of times to stop, but he kept appearing while I was talking to others and sneaking in. She eventually got fed up with him being purposefully obnoxious and gave him a warning nip, which scared the daylights out of him- she didn't break skin or anything, but she was very done with his behavior. He asked me what was wrong with my mouse and I told him absolutely nothing, I told you not to do what you were doing. Now she told you, too, and I suggest you listen. You have to respect animals if you want them to respect you, and you've been very rude to her. He stood to the side and thought about that for a bit and he was much better behaved with her after that.

Anyway, it was a decent expo. I think the other one was still better, and I'm looking forward to going back at the end of the month.

Price: He’d be so utterly confused if you bite him. Depending on whether or not you’re close with each other the scenario could go one of two ways: If you’re close, he’ll raise an eyebrow and ask you what you’re doing. If you respond with showing affection then he’ll be more inclined to let you continue doing whatever it is you’re doing. Truth be told, he’s not the biggest fan of you biting him, but if you’re his partner, then he’ll tolerate it. He knows you’re just being friendly and showing him that you love him in your own way, so he won’t say anything, but he’s not particularly too happy about it. Price doesn’t like how you’re getting saliva on him, he’s not a big fan of something like that. If you’re not his s/o then he’ll tell you to stop.

Bite him and he’ll awkwardly pat your back, he does appreciate you being affectionate with him, though. Doesn’t mind you getting saliva on him either, he’s been through far far worse. Overall, just don’t bite him too hard and he won’t mind, but if you’re genuinely hurting him then he’ll put an end to it all.

Soap: I wouldn’t be surprised if he bit you first, in all honesty. Not by accident, but on purpose. Soap isn’t a biter normally, but he can and will bite someone if dared to or if they lovingly annoy him. However, if you’ve bitten him first then be prepared for him to bite you back. He’s not grossed out by anything, but he will bite down harder than you bite him. Affection like this is a competition and he is hellbent on winning. If you’re his S/O then he’ll also try to leave marks on you to show everyone that you’re his and that you’re having fun with each other. And by that I mean he’ll bite your cheek since that’s one of the most obvious places out there. By the time you’re done being affectionate with each other you’ll both be covered in bite marks, each one deeper and more concerning than the last. But you’re having fun, and that’s all that matters.
