First of all, I would love if in the show we saw Holly wearing Lockwoods grey jumper instead of and a random old one that we havnt seen before, it would be so impactful visually, but I also want to mention how much this detail does for Lockwoods character.
Most people, but especially teenage boys would too be embarrassed to lend a girl a jumper because of the romantic connotations it's gained through its use to symbolise couples in teen movies. (Jocks give their Girlfriends their football jumpers etc. etc.)
In contrast to this trope, Lockwood is a good caring friend (and employer) to Holly so he doesn't feel strange looking after her and making sure she's well equipped for the case their about to go on, even if that means doing something that's associated with couples.
I've never seen this before, certainly not in a book aimed at teens, and was amazed at how much it impressed me. Such a good representation of men and women (again, especially teenage ones) having caring and platonic relationships, it's such a small detail but for some reason it's made me like both Holly and Lockwoods character way more, as they don't act like it's strange or out of place for them to share things and be kind to one another.

i once argued with someone over s5/6 debbie, and i argued that she didn’t have a lot of education and while what she did was wrong, she literally had no sex ed and her ideas of consent and the consequences of teen pregnancy were warped. they argued back that she had been to school and everybody learned that. literally every scene we see of debbie’s school could prove otherwise also this person clearly had grown up rich and went to a nice school

Preview 2 of chapter 6 is another Holly moment, this time with Amelia.
"When this is all over, we're taking a trip. I don't care who we piss off by being gone; we're packing up for two weeks and we're going. If people can't manage without us for two weeks, that is very much their problem."

Imagining Serot's dialogue in Rami Malek's voice is sometimes so much more amusing to me than it should be. Because Malek has this wonderful, humming drawl to his voice, calming, but always a bit wry. Unless he does something dramatic to his tone / body language, there's not a great difference between his normal speaking voice and his sarcastic one. I love his demeanor, frankly.
My point is, though, it is more amusing to me than it ought to be to imagine Serot just messing with people sometimes. (His default settings are amused and curious.) For example —
Somebody: So what do mummies do? When they catch you? Zombies eat your brains; vampires drink your blood; but what do mummies do?
Serot: Of course they steal your organs.
Sb: Your organs?
Serot: Mhm. [makes a digging gesture] Pull them right out of your esophagus. Or, well . . . the other end.
Sb: [clutching their pearls] And, do what with them?? Put them in those little jars??
Serot: Where else do you keep jam?
Sb: They turn them into jam?!
Serot: Well what else do you keep in jars?
