#boycottHarperCollins they are trying to use AI voices instead of actual human beings voice actors and pretend it's for us, so we have more product to have but it's not. It's nothing but greed on their end, I want a world full of artists and real human voices not this.
I know it can seem hopeless but remember "in a capitalistic society, it is the consumer who decides what gets made and who gets to make it merely by giving or withholding their support" AI and greedy dystopian companies can't make money if we don't give them money, hit them where it hurts and boycott and tell them why your boycotting

A recent interview revealed that Dreamworks has used AI to animate Kung Fu Panda 4.
They claimed that the “broken and distorted bits made the Chameleon shapeshifter more authentic.”
Bitch, I promised I wouldn’t get political in this blog, but when writers, actors, animators, influencers and the entertainment industry is on the line, I have to say something.
Band together to boycott Kung Fu Panda 4.
They could have easily hired a talented animator to animate the broken bits, but no. They blatantly used ai to do this.
Reblog if AI has no place in animation, writing, or the arts in general.

It was announced yesterday that open so was meeting with Hollywood to try to get ai to be used in Hollywood movies...
I physically cannot make this more clear
We cannot let those greedy pigs at Hollywood think that we will watch movies with generative ai elements
Yes of course there are good applications for ai in the film industry such as removing some of the more monotonous and tedious aspects in stuff like vfx work
Using ai as a tool to assist artists rather than replace them is a very good thing
But do not go see movies or shows work generative ai elements, that will show them that we will go see anything regardless of if it has ai or not, we need regulations and boundaries
We've already seen good(appropriate) reactions with stuff like secret invasion's opening and the stills from late night with the devil. Keep going, we cannot let ai get out of control. it can be used well for the benefit of everyone, yes. But hollywood can't think that they can just cut the workers and actors and sound designers etc just so they can get profit. Hollywood is a business but also an art and they need to know that we won't buy art made from machines

I was just shopping for some graphic shirts and I ran across one designated “AI Designed”
Screaming crying throwing up staring into a void of nothing ai is taking everything I love, making bastardized owl pellet mash ups and trying to sell it to me

Prophecy: The development of language drastically slows down with the continued development of AI. People start getting freaked out by this and using it as a reason to boycott AI. This distresses AI companies, and they encourage people to use AI to come up with new slang and words. However, this is incredibly stilted and doesn't catch on. So AI companies start to hire language influencers to get the 'new' language to catch on, which ultimately satisfies people enough to stop the boycotts.

want to give my two cents on the AI usage in the maestro trailer--
i think seventeen doing a whole concept that is anti-AI is very cool, especially as creatives themselves i think it's good that they're speaking up against it and i hope it gets more ppl talking about the issue. i also understand on a surface level the artistic choice (whether it was made by the members, the mv director, or whoever else), to directly use AI in contrast to real, human-made visuals and music in order to criticize it. i also appreciate that they clearly stated the intention of the use of AI at the beginning of the video
however, although i understand it to an extent, i do not agree with the choice to use AI to critique AI. one of the main ethical concerns with generative AI is that it is trained on other artists' work without their knowledge, consent, or compensation. and even when AI generated images are being used to critique AI, it still does not negate this particular ethical concern
the use of AI to critique also does not negate the fact that this is work that could have been done by an actual artist. i have seen some people argue that it's okay in this context because it's a critique specifically about AI, and it is content that never would have been done by a real artist anyway because it doesn't make sense for the story they're trying to tell. but i disagree. i think you can still tell the exact same story without using AI
and in fact, i would argue that it would make the anti-AI message stronger if they HAD paid an artist to draw/animate the scenes that are supposed to represent AI generated images. wouldn't it just be proof that humans can create images that are just as bad and nonsensical and soulless as AI, but that AI can't replicate the creativity and beauty and basic fucking anatomy that's in human-made art?
it feels very obvious this was not just a way to cut corners and costs like a lot of scummy people are using AI for. ultimately it was a very intentional creative decision, i just personally think it was a very poor one. and even if some ethical considerations were taken into account before this decision, i certainly don't think all of them were. at the very least i feel like the decision undermines the message they want to convey
i would also like to recognize that i myself am not an artist, and i have seen some artists that are totally on board with the use of AI in this specific context, so clearly this is not a topic that is cut and dry. but generative AI is still new, and i think it's important to keep having these conversations

PSA:
If you're against AI writing, instead of using it and sharing the results to "prove" to people how bad it is at writing, you don't actively help train it to more proficiently and naturally plagiarize the hard work of actual writers, people whose work was scraped without their consent or knowledge. The AI is not making things up out of thin air. Every single word the AI "writes" contains the stolen work of actual people.

This post has been delayed so I could reflect on my experience and process it rationally. Callout anyone using AI to scam you. I do not support AI art and that is my choice, we shouldn't be tricked into paying for it.
Share this post and message ARTECHOUSE (respectfully).

In my eyes, Fran Drescher is a Zionist between the pro 🇮🇱 statement released on Twitter a few weeks ago for SAG (without telling or getting approval from all members prior to it) and the disaster of a contract she just approved of. She's approved letting all studios use generative Ai & annoucing it from her manshion speaks volumes. She clearly doesn't care.
I hope all SAG members read the contract and unianimously vote no- then push to fire Fran, or all their work was for nothing. And I will be personally suggesting non members who showed solidarity and allies boycott & blacklist hiring & streaming all media with Fran in it because m a n, what a saggy moist yet buyable bag she is.
Everyone knows Hollywood is the US government's no 1 propaganda and distraction machine- the rush to approve this contract & not immediately disclose to the masses what it contained is after that twitter post is a huge🚩
Fuck Fran Descher
And if you're part of SAG AFTRA, Vote No because of the generative Ai usage.
