A bit about me - not pretty but it’s real...(poem in caption). . . It’s not for you to question my ability to love. That’s exclusively my role, and I damn sure own the job. Not antisocial, but ambivalently asocial. My batteries charge slowly in the silence of a book or the windings of a melody. Awkward with intentions but at home in my wit. 1+1 makes 3, then 5, well, I suppose that settles it. A people pleaser, but a poor people reader. You find me attractive? You’ll have to grab my crotch before I believe it. Painfully shy, peering through a lens of sarcasm, and one or two otherwise antiquated “ism”s. But I’m not quite ready to be done with the irreverent drollery I find in life. My humor knows no quarter, bent axles, worn bearings.
