A lot of people hated the Mama puffy hc but I really liked it especially because she disowns c!Dream. It’s a moment that (if the hc was real) would’ve shown the very real truth that blood means nothing and parents can disown their children for any reason, valid or not. The idea that she denounces her own son hurts more because of this ingrained concept that a mother always loves her children, no matter what. I enjoy the topic quite a bit and I enjoy the angst that inevitably comes from it. It’s not that I want it to be canon, just that I enjoy the hc a lot.
i think mama puffy is whatever with fanwork but in canon it's obviously not true. i think c!puffy's whole entitled parasocial guardian thing is objectively funnier--woman, how are you gonna declare yourself this guy's guardian and then get Disappointed In Him when you think you have some special say over who he is and what he should do morally bc he helped you with ur chores that one time, what.

Scott cawthon (if this was his intention) trying to lower Evan's importance to the story because he was originally created to just be the kid who dreamt up the last 3 games and then Steel wool saying hell no and coming up with some shit to make Evan relevant again. mwah

Had a dream the arlong pirates sunk whatever marine ship held em post-arlong park and they jumped up on a flying pirate ship full of disco women who were like aw u guys look injured let's get u to the infirmary n they were like
...ok
So that's how they got over reverse mountain but had to take the new giant train thru alabasta bc I guess there was no wind over it
Don't know why they didn't just go AROUND but I guess it was more like a continent in the dream
So there was just these raggedy ass fish men and disco ladies getting on this nice massive train with air conditioning
The flying disco pirates also had a mermaid named Sirena who was their singer and she definitely had a crush on arlong bc him trying to keep everyone together and keep his injured men from not getting into more trouble (and not go insane from being surrounded by ditzy women) made him look a lot better than he is

Post-prison C!Dream sketches
Ahhh the blorbo! I've drawn him before but this is my first post of him (though certainly not the last)
I have so my thoughts about this horrible horrible man(I say this affectionately). But I will spare you the very long ramble.
Honestly I probably shouldn't be as obsessed with him as I am given his list of crimes, but here we are.

i think one of the things that really gets to me is how, despite vash and knives referring to knives as the older one, there is just that one key moment where the narrative treats vash as the elder. and its when rem tells him to take care of knives right before she goes off to her death.
take care of your brother. you're the only one he has left. take care of your brother. you have to protect him in my place. take care of your brother.
(but who will take care of him?)

okay, two lil things i have decided to change up in my portrayal both regarding hopper, (bc i really cannot give the duffers any credit rifp).
she considers herself jane ives first and foremost. regarding legal documents like in school, to keep up all appearances she’s jane hopper. but mentally, and concerning her friends and family, she is jane ives. despite some trinkets from her meant to be home, and visits between becky going to hawkins, and jane going out to see her mother and aunt, she really doesn’t have anything of the life she was born for. when hopper legally adopts her, she is so thankful, so grateful, and feels so loved to have a real and stable place to call her own. it’s the first step for her no longer second guessing that she might be given up, might be gotten bored of. hopper actually lets her keep the documents in her room, but does make sure she knows how important they are. alas, she does sit him down one night, and asks him very softly if she can still be jane ives. she wants to respect her mother and be apart of her. she doesn’t want to hurt or offend him, but she thinks she needs to be honest. hopper tells her she will always be apart of her mother, no matter what name she takes, that it’s about how she feels and how she loves. he definitely does not mind if she wants to call herself jane ives, but just reminds her that if anybody asks, she needs to say hopper.
during her presentation of her diorama, it is the very first, and only time she refers to hopper as ‘dad.’ it comes out before she even realises, and has no time to take it back. it’s not that she doesn’t perceive hopper that way, nor does it mean she loves him any less, but calling him by fatherly titles is just not something she’s ready to do. especially in that moment when she believes he’s gone, she figures there’s no point. he’s her family, yes, but just like she feels jonathan and will are her real brothers, she knows they’re not, and as such is never going to call them that out loud. there’s always going to be a part of her that knows she’s an outsider to both the byers’ family and the hoppper family; joyce has her boys, and jim had sara. she knows they love her, just as much as she does them. she knows very well that family isn’t born it’s made, but merely doesn’t feel comfortable calling him dad, and will never refer to him as it with other people.

(you know whats my Biggest most Delusional thought? canon tonitoni getting a teenager model in game bc thus far there have been ZERO npcs that use the teenage model - that seems to be strictly for playable characters only which MEANS!!!!!!!
if she gets a teenage model it will not only have to be a Unique model BUT ALSO INCREASES THE CHANCES OF HER BEING PLAYABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

New Story up:
This is another one of my what-ifs involving the immediate aftermath of the Nada Incident where Death takes one look at it and goes 'well we're the baddies and I have a lot to do with that so I need to fix my part of things and myself before telling my siblings anything' and the law of unintended consequence strikes.
