rewatching the achilles animatic again and even though every frame was a new different special kind of torture it was still fun. Sometimes. therapeutic even one could say

#kind of miss working on it is what i mean . just working on a polished/long animatic project #and like you can REALLY tell i was struggling with 90% of the poses and faces and head shapes UEHEUJEGSJS #the only things that look consistently good are like. The hands (?) kind of. a little #i mean the animatic is good and looks great obviously but you KNOW i wasnt lying when i said in the description that #drawing is hard. unfortunately #i think at that time i was actually at the cusp of burnout too ? if im remembering correctly ….. and then i kept working on the animatic #through the sheer power of autism . and then more autism happened forever #But well if im honest most of the reason it looks wonky is probably bc i was just not used to drawing iterators #like before that i’ve drawn them a few tjmes sure but it’s been a good year or two #and i was drawing more normal lookin humanoids instead of bald ass robots #it was fucking up my artstyle sooo bad #it’s interesting to look back now #i havent drawn iterators in forever but i think i’ve gotten a bit better at them even if i still struggle #crammerposting

Silliness! #I'm still really enamoured with the idea of ZEX as a warrior and a scholar - very Thucydides y'know ♪ #His extremely brilliant tactical mind needs puzzles! Yes yes they're movie addition shhh all art is scaffolded over time #The real question is where ZEX got all the parts from - is that the Captain for realsies? #Or a fun role fill-in ''What if ZEX made a human and it was the Captain [before the Captain would've existed anyway]?'' #It could go either way! It'd be sad if ZEX lost his Captain and then tried to bring him back :') #But then again the alternative is him like........harvesting? (Off the battlefield?
