First, some Ebb and Flow. I’ve been sharing some stuff from the later chapters, but this is more in the middle:

“It looks like he’s ignoring you,” Thad says, “So who cares?”

Blaine slumps in his seat. His friends have a point. It’s ridiculous that Blaine can’t stop thinking about Mr. 21, but merely his existence annoys Blaine. He’s so rude and annoying and standoff-ish. Yes, he has a Switch, but that doesn’t mean that Blaine’s going to start playing with him. Avalon, his colleague from the brass section, told Blaine that multiple people play video games during break and they asked if Blaine wanted to join, but Blaine’s not in the mood of voluntarily spending time with Mr. 21.

“Is he still hot, though?” David asks.

“Unfortunately,” Blaine sneers.

Then there’s “damn, Baz, you live like this?” and I apologise to @martsonmars​ and @cutestkilla​, because I think it will be a working title only, not the actual title (I mean, I know I also said that about Ebb and Flow, but-) and I am open to suggestions.

I’ve been waiting for Snow to arrive. A part of me was worried that he wasn’t going to find me. Sure, I’ve moved a lot in my long life, but I’ve now moved to the other side of the world.

Of course he finds me.

He always does.

He’s staring out of my window in awe. 

“I’ve always wanted to see Las Vegas,” he says, “But this Las Vegas... wow. It’s so futuristic.”

I stand next to him and I also take in the skyline. It’s indeed different from what Snow has had in mind. He probably has the image of Las Vegas, 2015. But no, we’re eighty years later. I’m nearing my hundreds.
