hot take of the day: people who hold phones up for the whole time at concerts should be shamed just as much as the people who hold large signs up the whole time.

#maybe I'm calling out some people here oOP #but yeah at the Halestorm/Black Veil Brides concert I went to the other day #there was a person in front of me with a sign #they were SUPER respectful with it #they showed it to me and explained they would only hold it up for short periods in between songs #and that they would try their best to not get it in my way #I was like wHAT THATS COOL? no worries at all have fun!#and that wold have been all done and good #however whenever they weren't holding the sign they were holding their fucking phone #they recorded every BVB song #all the way through #not giving a single sHIT` about whether or not their phone could have been in my way #which it was #like I could not see past it (I'm short and have a hard time at concerts as it is if I'm not barrier)#what I'm trying to say is just be respectful with your phone at concerts #if you are two rows back from the front you do not need to be holding it up high #and just enjoy the artist in front of you you dont have to watch through your phone #TLDR phones are equally as annoying as signs at concerts #just take into consideration those behind you

Black Veil Brides was my first ever concert when I was 11, and they were one of the first bands that really made me fall in love with music. I really can’t describe how it was to finally be able to meet and thank them for what they do. Their music has helped me through some pretty awful times in my life, and it was incredible to see them live again all these years later. 🫶🏻

As if the meet and greet wasn’t amazing enough, I caught Lonny and Jake after the show too! These guys are seriously such sweethearts, it was such a pleasure to get to say hi and chat a little.

The whole experience was so incredible, I couldn’t help myself and I bought tickets to see/meet them again in Ohio… I’ve never traveled that far for a concert, or seen the same band twice on one tour before. And I absolutely can’t wait 🖤

I’m slowly going through my Black Veil Brides content from Seattle on 10/16. I recorded the entire concert, and I slide through the video bar frame by frame and screenshot clear moments to post my “pictures.”

Unfortunately within 24 hours of the concert being over, two people I have known for my entire life both passed away, one after the other. To say my survivors guilt is beating my ass would be the understatement of the century. But I’m trying my best to hold on to the excitement, it’s just… taking more time than I wanted.

Anyways, these pics I got have been killing me. There’ll definitely be a lot more coming… eventually. Pls forgive.
