I do not own any of these images! I just find them and put them together on one website and then I add the edits in another one. I do put a lot of work into them, so please don't claim as your own. If you use them, please reblog just so I can see who is enjoying them! Thank you!

“Am I your lockscreen?” “You weren’t supposed to see that.” With a modern au Cassian Andor. (Cassian sees that reader forget her phone and runs out to give it to her noticing the screen and steps into the elevator with her that shuts pretty fast leaving them both alone and him questioning her.)
It had been a long week. Grueling. Tedious. Draining. But it was finally the weekend, which meant you could enjoy some time to yourself.
You'd even gone and cancelled some plans with friends that night so you could go home and relax. Your only plan for the entire weekend were to remain in pajamas and watch Netflix. Not even your best friend, Cassian, could convince you otherwise. Although he was as worn and done tired as you were. It had been a long week for him too.
But as soon as 5 rolled around, you had closed up your office and grabbed your bag and practically sprinted to the elevator. You didn't even bother to say goodbye to anyone.
Cassian had been in the process of coming over to your office to see if he could convince you to go out for a drink when he spied you rushing off. He glanced in your office when he spotted your phone still on your desk. Shaking his head to himself, he grabbed it and decided to come after you to return it. That's what best friends were for, right?
"Y/N?" Cassian's accented voice cut through your inner monologue. But it didn't stop you from pressing the button to close the elevator. It wasn't that you didn't want to see him, it was more so that you didn't want to deal with the feelings that bubbled up whenever you saw him. They were getting worse. Stronger. And you didn't know how to deal.
When he was almost to you, your phone lit up and vibrated with a notification. He looked down at your phone, purely out of habit and almost stopped dead in his tracks. There he was, with you, as the background on your phone. He pressed the home button again just to stare at the picture a little longer. He remembered that day. It had been a beautiful, sunny day at the beach; it was wonderful. He had almost kissed that you. Almost. But his nerves had gotten the better of him then.
"Y/N!" Cassian's hand caught the doors just before the closed and they slowly opened back up. Of course.
You gave him a somewhat defeated smile as he stood next to you, a mischievous little grin on his own face.
"You forgot this," he handed your phone back and your stomach was suddenly in knots. What if he had seen? What if he knew now?
"Thanks," you took it from him slowly and internally groaned. Maybe he hadn't-
"Am I your lockscreen?" shit. Of course he knew. Of course you had gotten a notification which had drawn his attention to it.
"You...ugh...weren't supposed to see that," you felt your face heating up as you bit your lip. What was he going to say? You tried to recover as quickly, "it was just a nice day and I liked the picture. Is that weird? Sorry if that's weird..."
"No," he gave you one of his signature dazzling smiles, "I like it."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah," he promised and you swore he was getting closer to you, "I know you said you had wanted to go to home, but did you maybe...want to get a drink? Just us?"
"Are you asking me on a date?!" the words were out of your mouth before you could stop yourself and your eyes widened in shock. Cassian just laughed lightly.
"Yes," he nodded as the elevator dinged for the ground floor, "like a date. If you want to."
"Yes," you agreed as he held out his hand for you to follow him. It felt right in yours. A perfect fit.
He didn't lose the nerve to kiss you that night. Finally.
