For the month, I have been obsessed with Shin Hye Sun and I'm so glad to have stumbled on your blog. Let me tell you, this woman has had me on a chokehold. Like I am obsessed. I have devoured every bit of content that I can find.

She is perfection. Her acting is top-notch. I discovered her through Mr. Queen, but her portrayal of Lee Yeon So is just impeccable. I'm at episode 9 now of Angel's Last Mission haha

Shin Hye Sun is a QUEEN and I'll literally watch her in anything! Even though Angel's Last Mission is a bit flawed (don't worry I won't spoil it!), her ballet character was sooooo magical. Like, she is EVERYTHING. Side note: When that drama aired, apparently ballet lessons rose dramatically because of her role.

I hope you watch her in Thirty But Seventeen! Don't be swayed by the crazy premise, I promise it's super cute. :-)

just to be completely clear, the amount of military power and political influence Israel has has NOTHING to do with its settlers being Jewish. Israel is a force for American & European interests in the region and they're just doing what America does and allows/encourages its close allies to do.

war crimes aren't considered war crimes when someone America finds useful is doing them. european and american pushback against anyone criticizing Israeli apartheid & genocide is 100% because these crimes are useful to American & European hegemony.

Governments that are deeply antisemitic, like France, aren't suddenly caring about Jewish people. Jewish people, persecuted the world over, don't hold some kind of hegemonic power outside of Israel.

The state of Israel and its attendant brutal treatment of the locals are both incredibly useful to the US, and American hegemony means we're expected to celebrate both.

saw people suggesting to get off tumblr for a day/leave tumblr to make them not roll out the collapsing reblog chain, and im just gonna say this now, but like...that's not gonna work.

people did actually leave, back when the Ban happened, as a form of protest. very obviously did not work.

y'know what did work?? everybody reblogging staff's post, or making their own posts LOUDLY protesting the "swap to an algorithm", which made staff literally have to make a post to tell us that no, they're not doing that, actually.

they heard us then, why would they not hear us if we did the same thing now???

just post about it. get it trending. message them through the tumblr support box. THAT is the only thing that could possibly work in this scenario.

I don't think I ever fully realized that in many ways, The Odyssey is a tragedy until I listened to Epic. Because he survives and he manages to get home and see his family again, so it doesn't really strike as a tragedy.

But then there is Epic going, "but look at all he lost to get there, all the people that died for him to get home. Don't forget that the man you met at the start of the musical is not the one that makes it home. He dies in "Monster.""
