The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker Wood-burning I did for my secret santa at work. He's a huge Zelda fan and I had all of these spare pieces of wood and board lying around, so I used the opportunity to actually wood-burn something. Been wanting to do it for ages.

For fun, I'll post the image I was originally working on for the poster before editing and Illustrator were brought in. The poster, being used purely for design concepts, was not up to par with what I had in mind; however, I think the image is rather strong.
Up next, I'll being creating another Grimes-esque poster inspired by her song "Oblivion".

Praise be to the Adobe gods and their creation of CS6's automatic file save and recover capabilities. Worked for three hours on my Grimes piece and then Photoshop froze. Hallelujah- praise him.

Make sure to stay from creepy red things. I miss doing things in traditional mediums, especially with gouache.
On another note, I like whats happening happening with the space in picture.

It's finally updated. I should not have taken this long, but certain distractions occurred such as work and a friend coming in town (who I'm so happy I finally got to see- it had been two years since I had last seen Lillian). But alas, it's done.
I'm a bit confused and am still working on understanding CSS and HTML, so I really, really hope that the website works for other browsers. It looks great on my screen but I know depending on the sizes of other browser windows it can change. It is fine if it does but I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't screw. Anyways, take a look, share it, spread it, and I hope you enjoy.
(** I just noted this is my 100th post. How superb!**)

Mother of pearls! I have been neglecting this blog like my dress sense. While I have posted a few things here and there over the past month, nothing has been mine and the work which has appeared is old. But, alas! I have begun working again after a three month dry spell (graduation has truly thrown me a loop). I posted just a moment ago about a bookmark design contest I am working on. Once this is finished I will start posting more of my finished, recent work, so for those who follow, please keep a lookout and I will hopefully give you some eye candy...finally.
