Star’s split Christmas

On Thursday night, after her performance in the hit musical Budgie, Anita left London's Cambridge Theatre arm in arm with May.

The next day May's car was parked adjacent to the renovated council block where Anita has her second floor fat. He left after lunch.

One of Anita's neighbours sald: "They are always holding hands and looking into each others' eyes. They are a right pair of love birds."

Chrissie, say sources close to the family, has been devastated by the romance. Her friend said: "Even now, Chrissie can't accept that it's all over.

"They have discussed divorce. Now Chrissie is seeing her lawyers again, and has told me that there is no hope of them being reconciled.

“She has given Brian time to get Anita out of his system, but he says he can’t.

“Chrissie has only met Anita once, at a showbusiness party before Brian began two-timing her.

Lunch

“She is not like Anita — she is a very private person who wants to handle this whole sad business with dignity."

He wrote a chart single for Anita called Talking of Love and produced her first hit, Anyone Can Fall in Love.

"Brian says that he "I'm not going to say he isn't lovely, because he is.”

The friend said May still visits his children, two girls and a boy aged between 22 months and eleven years.

"Chrissie would not dream of trying to stop him seeing the kids. She is not nasty or vindictive,” said the friend.

“Brian made it clear to Chrissie that he wanted to take care of her and the kids, and to make sure they were secure.”

“But when he bought the new place he said that he wouldn’t be living there.

“Brian says that he wants to see the kids on Christmas Day, but he will go back to Anita for Christmas lunch.

“Chrissie says there wouldn’t be all the interest in her marriage if Brian had run off with anyone other than a famous EastEnders actress.”

Queen is touring in Japan, crazy and hectic as always, but Brian takes the chance for a quiet night with Chrissie to comfort her pain.

My entry for the Brian & Roger's ships week 2023 - organised on @johnica-weeks - with Brian and Chrissie! There's not much mindless fluff between them, sadly (and only one fully dedicated smut!) so I wanted to make up for that and give these two some time to cuddle without any worries or angst. This fic is set in an undefined year in the late 70s/early 80s but without kids yet.
