His return to his true Home was made possible by her; she was God's vessel, something JB didn't even realize he needed until she arrived.

That is love. That is love even though the public makes it seem otherwise. That is love because it accepts and stays -- a decision easily said than done, and not everyone has a strength to make. Today you said "I love you" me. I gave you a massage on your head. You said it while we were. playing 35/20 questions. We wrestled that day and it was a good match. A draw even. Later, I was laying on my pillow in pain in your lap. When he talked about how he would die I said dont say such things i dont want to loose you. And you hugged me close and whispered in my ear "I love you" that day all we did was ask questions.

I stared into your eyes to see your reflection and thought to myself me? You love me? Really I said? Tears welled up in my eyes and they just flowed for a good 5 minutes. I couldn't believe it. I even asked say that again. And you did. You said that it means alot to you and that you wanted to introduce another level of commitment.

You said you didn't expect to say it today but you did.

You were in love with me. And I said, do I have to say it too now? He said no, you don't have to. But if you want to you can when I propose maybe a year from now. I already found a spot but I'm keeping it secret he said. I hugged him. He sadi he doesnt want to regret not telling me. I hugged him so so much. We stayed for a good minute. I kept hugging him. I said I'm so blessed. I hugged him tight and he kept checking whether I was in pain parin I said yes but i said the flurry of emotions was enough. I said I don't want to loose you.

We were in love. And I was free. Every now and then we would laugh and say leave room for Jesus. We were Spirit filled, safe, and knew God was our witness and that God knew.

We ended in prayer. I prayed over us and over you. I prayed God would protect us, that God knowing our desires would give Jon wisdom and how to love. I felt safe. I felt truly, deeply, safe. I know God would honor our marriage because we have kept His commands. Not touching sexually. But keeping safe distance but genuine in out feelings and affections. We didn't take advantage of one another. Now I feel sleepy just talking about it. Goodnight 🥰

Under the Umbrella of God’s Goodness

My husband and I were only a month into our marriage when we received news that a group for Pastors’ Wives here in our location has been created, and I am one of the blessed women to be invited. They had asked me to share my feelings as a pastor’s wife and what are my expectations. Quite frankly I didn’t know what to say and even thought I’m not qualified to even speak because I’m merely beginning my journey. But I couldn’t bring myself to say ‘no,’.

I keep getting reminded of various callings to testify and share God’s work in one’s life, especially from the book of Psalms. So I sat myself down and began recording. To be honest I did not know what I wanted to share or talk about but I was surprised to see myself continuously speaking of God’s goodness. And so I wanted to drop my thought here too.

I feel like our family is mostly challenged in the financial aspect of life. We always find ourselves struggling to make ends meet despite having jobs. And this testimony from my husband always gives me the needed “knock-on-the-head” every time. He always shares that back when he was a student he barely had any money, and yet he was healthy, eating, traveling and enjoying life. He even jokes about how he was even able to take me on dates despite having so little. Its quite funny, but its an eye opener too.

God is able to use the people around him to bless him and care for him, and even before we were married these blessing also covered me. The people that loved and guided him did the same for me. The people that looked out for him, looked out for me as well. The people that embraced and appreciated him gave me their warmest welcome too.

So now in our married life, I have no fear. For my husband is a good man, and God loves him. And the abundance He gives to my husband, He also showers into our family.

You must learn a new way to think before you can master a new way to be.
