Rick rolls his eyes, slouching over the black laptop littered with stickers and sighing. Why had he agreed to do this again?
*cue flashback sequence*
Cici and Rick are sitting in the garage. He's on his stool tinkering with something while she'd laying on the cool ground, clicking away at her keyboard excitedly.
"Heeey RRRiiiicccck~"
Rick feels himself frowning, already knowing what that tone means. "Whatever it is, no." He keeps his gaze fixed on the rubix cube below him.
"but-"
"I'm CLEARLY in the middle of something here..."
Ci frowns, sitting up with a pout and sad eyes. "Plllease Riiiick? I won't ask you for anything elllseeee ever agaaaiiiinn"
Rick rolls his eyes, lifting up a pair of heat resistant goggles to glare at her. "You don't actually mean that. No one ever does." He places the goggles down on his work table and walks over to check out her screen with an exaggerated sigh.
"I am NOT talking with your Tumblr girlies or whatever." Even as he says this, he's already certain he'll be talked into somehow anyways.
"......what if I throw in some kay-lax to sweeten the deal?~"
"FINE, give me that."
*cuts back to the present moment*
Rick sighs again, taking a sip from the flask in his pocket. "Right, let's get this over with then..."
💖 - What’s one really cute/cool thing that (Y/N) does?
"Huh," he reads the words with a look of indifference and a shrug. He kind of expected the questions to be more invasive.
"Cici is cute in general so that's just a given." He waves a hand semi-dismissively, but there's a hint of emotion in his eyes. "but she's also done plenty of badass stuff! Taking down a civilization, saving our asses in close calls, died for me, the list goes on and on." He almost sounds proud. "Might want to be more specific next time."
👏 - What’s your favorite habit of (Y/N)’s?
"Favorite habit? Who the hell phrases a question like that? Ugh whatever."
There's a pause.
"I don't have a "favorite" among her habits. They're alllllll equally dorky and below me."
A few feet off to his left, sits a system with 6 screens all monitoring different sections of the Smith household. In the upper right corner of the wall of cubes is one pointed to the kitchen. Ciara is reaching into the fridge most while humming the theme song with a big ol grin.
🎁 - Do you like to pamper them?
"What, me pamper her? I'M the Rick. I'm the one that's supposed to be pampered here! I only save this dumbass universe every single day of the damn week....." He crosses his arms, pouting. "That shit only works for me on special occasions, days when she's annoying me....or for bribery."

First Night in Evergreen Harbor
“Have you ever woohoo’d in a dumpster before?” the mystery woman whispered, as she led Felicity closer and closer to the garbage before them.
The stench was frying Felicity’s brain, she could almost taste the dead bugs that sat on top of the trash bags. But, one look in...in...
“Hey what’s your name?” Felicity asks, as she prepares to descent into those dark midnight blue bags.
*she chuckles* “It’s Ciara.” She smiles and the starts twinkle behind her. Before she realizes it, Felicity is waist deep in things she doesn’t even want to describe. She’s holding onto Ciara’s waist and lightly touching her soft skin. If this is what Evergreen Harbor is like Felicity could get used to this.
“Well, Ciara, get over here.” Felicity pulls her into the dumpster and they woohoo underneath the stars...kind of.
After they’re rendezvous they exchange numbers and head their separate ways. Maybe Felicity will see Ciara again.

The next morning for Felicity was pretty tame. She finishes moving into her apartment and unpacking little trinkets from her life. She gets a call from Tina inviting her back out to the Maker Studio. Apparently she wants us to meet some her tinkering friends.
“So, you’re Jo? What do you do...make?” Felicity snickers.
“Oh I like making candles it’s kind of my gig, and I make a mean couch or two. I can show you sometime if you want.” Jo responds.
“That would be cool.” Felicity gleefully states.
Felicity sticks to Jo and Tina like glue, analyzing there every move, and trying to soak up any knowledge they are giving her.

WLW Romance Books for Teens
There is nothing better than young adult romance books. You get all the butterflies and excitement of your first love, plenty of angst, and usually a dose of drama that keeps you turning the pages late into the night. I’m also loving how diverse the genre has grown, and I want to share some of my favorite WLW (women loving women) romance books featuring teen main characters! (Because let’s be honest, you’re never too old to relive your first love!)
The Falling in Love Montage by Ciara Smyth
Seventeen-year-old cynic Saoirse Clarke isn’t looking for a relationship. But when she meets mischievous Ruby, that rule goes right out the window. Sort of.

2021 Upcoming LGBTQIA Fiction I’m Excited For!
This is my top nine for women-led queer fiction for this year! I am so excited to read each of these books. Each of these books features lesbian or bisexual women and most are romances or coming-of-age stories. A lot of these are #ownvoices stories and many are by authors who already have proven themselves as great writers of LGBT fiction.
Below you’ll find titles, summaries and goodreads links to the above books. This year there are plenty of tropes to be found in these stories, including enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, and starcrossed lovers! I’m so excited for all the enemies-to-lovers stories there are this year, and I can’t wait to read everything on this list.
Bruised by Tanya Boteju
To Daya Wijesinghe, a bruise is a mixture of comfort and control. Since her parents died in an accident she survived, bruises have become a way to keep her pain on the surface of her skin so she doesn’t need to deal with the ache deep in her heart.

True Appearance: Indy’s “true” appearance is what her parents taught her to be. Her parents believed in looking like the ‘elite’ species that they were ‘meant to be’. So instead of resembling Erkuss, they had not only themselves but her as well to resemble humanoid shapes but with their glittering colored skin, irises always constantly sparkling and never conforming to a species as ‘lowly’ as an Erkuss. Her glittering skin is mainly comprised of the colors of a sunset.
Backstory: Being adopted by literally any other couple would have been a blessing but for Meissa? Being a Cassiopeia was anything but a blessing. Out of all the entities in the universe, she had to have been adopted by the one Djayyar couple that believed themselves to be like Gods amongst sheep. Her parents kept to themselves despite living on Kraysha, keeping a control on their child for as long as they could. Meissa didn’t understand their hatred of other species, their disregard for interspecies marriage or loathing of not constantly looking like a star all the damned time.
They wouldn’t even let her go to school until they realized that she was going to run away from home. After moving around many, many times as a means of trying to stop this behavior, they finally found an ‘acceptable’ school for her to go to... Many... Many years later into life. It was at this point in her life cycle where she met someone who made her realize that there was more to life than her parents and their unrealistic way of living. As time went on, the two friends grew inseparable, continuing on into their education. It was around this time that things began to get worse. To say she was quickly feeling the early pangs of first love was an understatement, it had been brewing for a long time, not that she would have noticed. The problem was that her parents did not want her being with anyone that wasn’t their own kind. Once they caught wind of how close the two were getting they demanded that she end the very notion of being with a species as “inferior” as her friend’s. They gave her the ultimatum to either stop it in its tracks or she would be taken out of the school.
So Meissa agreed, cutting off the friendship before it could bloom into more. And she watched her best friend from afar and hated herself for what she’d done. When her friend eventually left school, she stayed and finished out her high school career. As soon as it was done, she packed a bag in the middle of the night, took out as much currency as she could from her parents bank accounts and fled. Credentials were easy to get and then the rest was history. She ended up becoming a mechanic, wanting to be a mechanical engineer due to her love for tinkering with things, fixing things that were broken or making them better since she could never do that with her own life from before. For the last five years she’s found herself on the Prosperity, eventually earning the spot of Lead Mechanic after proving herself. She is always in her humanoid form, too embarrassed of her “true” self due to the harm her parents had caused. Long gone was Meissa Cassiopeia and in its place was Indy. Just Indy. Alone with her tools.
Just how she liked it...
Skills: Can sing but does not like to do it in public. Is a fantastic mechanic and dabbles in engineering when she thinks people aren’t looking. Can make a mean cup of coffee. Also is very handy at making prototypes of things that you probably should never touch. Like a localized EMP in a toothbrush. Or bubble gum that if left unchewed for longer than a minute will solidify into a cement like paste.

Some of my favorite AU ship children, just because I’m bored and I love them dearly
(fyi - I was not 100% responsible for all of these characters, about half were the brainchild of myself and a friend, I’m just awful with tumblr usernames)
Isabelle Nicole Fitz-Simmons (Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons, Agents of SHIELD)
Izzy is a nerd and a sweetheart. She loves tinkering with things, including an eighth DWARF based off an old prototype of her father’s that she’s lovingly called Stealthy (she’s also a big fan of TV, and binge-watched the entirety of Once Upon a Time). She’s small physically, but has learned to pack a punch, and isn’t afraid to speak up when she needs to. Especially when it comes to her younger brother, Zach (only younger by a year or so), as he constantly holds it over her that he’s taller (so...quite literally). (FC: Kiernan Shipka)
Zachary Michael Fitz-Simmons (Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons, Agents of SHIELD)
Zach is, surprise surprise, also a nerd. He loves space very dearly, and has a special place in his heart reserved for chocolate cupcakes (which he refuses to believe are made of the same stuff as regular cake, no matter how hard Izzy tries to argue with him). He retained much of the temper of his father, and is the taller of the two Fitz-Simmons children. However, he is a lovable sweetheart, and would never hurt anyone near him, no matter what. He holds it in high honor that he has surpassed his older sister in height, and makes certain to remind her of this fact daily. (FC: Peyton Meyer)
Amelia “Amy” Dawn West-Allen (Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen, The Flash; originally Nora Amelia West-Allen, but then guess who became canon?)
Amy is a ball of sass, although she has retained the love of pop culture and geeky stuff from her father. She’s also a big flirt, much to the dismay of said father, and she’s certainly used her speedster abilities (a familiar mix of purple and yellow lightning) on a few occasions to impress possible partners. She loves her family, and is ecstatic for the day she gets to join the team for real (because even though Cisco made a suit and everything...she still “isn’t ready” or whatever), along with her twin brother, Eddie. Edison “Eddie” Henry West-Allen (Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen, The Flash)
Eddie is a big ol’ dork, unable to function properly in public settings, as much as he tries to play it cool. While he may be tall and look strong, he’s honestly a teddy bear, with a smile so much like his father’s that it could melt his mother’s heart. And it does. He’s a bit of a momma’s boy, but he doesn’t mind. He loves his family, and while he’s fine playing it cool and just training for now, he knows how eager his sister is to get out there, and is excited (and perhaps a bit terrified) to see that first mission arrive. Rachel Anne Grey-Summers (Jean Grey and Scott Summers, X-Men; the name is similar, yes, but she is different, and inspired more by the movie canon)
Rachel is a no-nonsense kind of girl. She has taken it upon herself to reign in her twin brother, Daniel, by any means possible. She’s the logic of the pair, although sometimes she’s called a “buzzkill,” which is only followed by a dagger glare in her brother’s direction. While both she and her brother emit fiery forcefields when they utilize their telekinesis or telepathy, Rachel’s is more focused with the telepathy, and her fire is a bit more scarlet in hue. Daniel Grey-Summers (Jean Grey and Scott Summers, X-Men I blanked on the middle name oof)
Daniel acquired all of the charming dorkiness of a teenage Scott Summers, without any of the actual suaveness. But, he did get all the confidence of his parents, which means he thinks he’s a hell of a lot smoother than he actually is. He’s more spontaneous than his sister, Rachel, and he constantly reminds her of her bland nature, just to tease her. His powers lean slightly more towards telekinesis, and the flames that follow are a little more golden in hue. (FC: KJ Apa)

Iann was unable to get a hold of Ciara by phone. It just rang and rang, leaving Iann to speculate over a dozen ways she was no longer answering. All reasons ranged from bad to absolutely terrible.
The demon was out now and Iann weighed the odds. Ashcrofts weren’t in town but they could still have spies, he supposed. On the other hand, the demon was out and there was no way to hide something like that for long.
If Ciara had managed to contain it, she wouldn’t be able to for long without some more violent, necessary course of action. What even happened to allow it to break? Grace’s story seemed innocuous enough - they were having dinner and then demon. Grace fortunately didn’t seem to contribute to Malvoth’s freedom.
Which meant that perhaps the demon was just biding its time, waiting for the right, juiciest moment to make its disgusting reveal. Which meant the binding started to fray before that. Iann didn’t know the details of the binding itself (he wasn’t told, for Ciara’s own reasons) or how Malvoth would’ve found a way, but he had a pretty good idea when it might’ve happened.
When she’d almost had a taste of freedom.
So the demon was biding its time, likely crafting its loophole for emergence. That Ciara managed to contain it, however, meant there were still some ties left. Meaning she still had time to do something about it. Which meant she’d pinned Iann apparently as ‘back up’ as Grace called it, but Iann had no clue where she even was.
If she was dead, then...well he’d be hearing something by now. A petty-level demon on the loose in a supernatural town wouldn’t be subtle about it, especially not after oh-so cleverly gaining its freedom. Triumph and celebration, demon-style. But there was nothing so far that he’d heard, about any demon rampages in town.
So likely she wasn’t dead; if anything, if the demon had the power, then it would want to make Ciara’s demise count. She’d forced it into servitude after all; and its torture would be drawn out.
Which brought Iann back to the main issue: finding Ciara.
Her phone didn’t work, and Iann justified the Ashcroft risk as lesser than the demon-risk, so he started calling around. Every single motel or flophouse that he knew of in Soapberry - even the pop-up ones - he contacted. He could only give a description, since he doubted Ciara used her name.
When that didn’t work, Iann found Ciara’s black sigil card, the one she’d given him all those months ago for some reason, the one the Ashcrofts mocked. And Iann had let their mockery get to him. He derided his own lapse, and placed two things on his table: the sigil card (was it glowing slightly?), and the little vial of Ciara’s blood (was it feeling warm?)
He was no witch, but there were other ways. And there was one connection to Ciara that Iann realized was more personal, and more specific. He reached around his neck and removed the necklace. The ‘Be Fri’ inscription looked, for lack of a better word, weak.
A powerful boon from two powerful nymphs. Iann had figured it was the ability to share memories and Ciara had surmised it also helped track each other’s moods towards the other. But maybe there was more than that.
Iann was no witch, but he was a tinker and an alchemist, layman as he was. He could work with magical things, mold and reform the magic already imbued into something new, something more useful for the moment, one last go.
He headed down to the basement with the three items, making sure the furnace was hot enough before placing the golden necklace into a little fired stone ladle.
“Here goes,” he said with only a small amount of hesitation. To melt that necklace down, at this point, somehow felt like losing something so valuable and important, so relevant to the fleeting, enclosed person that was Ciara Woodman. But the person herself was more important than the memory-trinket; and if this worked, then that was all that mattered.
Besides, Iann had no room for sentimentality.
He melted the necklace down into molten gold, then used chemistry and rudimentary crafting skills to effectively mix Ciara’s blood to it, letting it cool into a long thin twig. It wasn’t perfectly made, and it wasn’t very big, but it would have to do.
Iann then got a mortar made from lavarock, and the seashell he’d ‘won’ in their dominoes game, pourings some water from the shell into the mortar. Then the shell itself. Iann carefully crushed the delicate thing with a pestle until the shell pieces lined the bottom of the mortar. The water shimmered.
“No, I know I’m home,” Iann talked to the water. “I need...something else.” He dropped the blood-gold twig into the water - thin enough to float in the water - and waited.
Eventually, the twig slowly turned, pointing northeast.
Iann slipped the sigil card into his pocket, and was off.

No one really gave much regard to Iann Cardero hopping around town, carrying a stone mortar of water. He was muttering constantly to himself, which didn’t give people much concern either. It was just Iann, after all, on some hare-brained scheme of his.
The bloodgold twig pointed him towards Zocalo’s, a little Mexican restaurant. Iann could still smell the residual sulphur and rot in the air. So could the staff, who were now giving the restaurant a thorough magical cleansing, and confirmed that the gallery owner vampire was here with another woman.
But they weren’t here any longer.
“Huh,” Iann looked down at his makeshift Ciara-compass. “Going through memories? Okay. Let’s keep going.” The twig pointed west, and Iann was on his way again. A field this time, scorched plants making it very obvious that something had gone down. At what point had Grace and Ciara split ways? Probably here - if only because Iann knew Ciara would bolt, and he knew Grace would follow.
“Keep going,” he told the pointer again, and followed.
This time to a warehouse, which...well Iann had to put his bowl of water down for a moment to survey the...ghastly horror. He mouthbreathed, feeling like he did back in the Avery mansion after Bellamy’s massacres. But as Iann slowly navigated the terrible place, he was relieved to find that nothing was...discernible. It was stained and gory and gobs of flesh and burn makes and so much blood - but it wasn’t actual people. He even found Ciara’s cellphone, broken in pieces in a corner.
Iann pocketed the pieces, then returned to his compass.
“Getting closer,” Iann told the mortar, as if trying to encourage a bloodhound. “Keep going.”

Daytime Emmy's Predictions
We have arrived at the big week for Daytime Television. As you have may have already done so, I will be giving you my predictions for who will be the big winners. Now, I just want to put it out there that I have been mainly watching GH for the last few years, but I have spent time watching clips of the other soaps as well. Feel free to interact with me, and comment your thoughts! Here we go..
1. Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS)
Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux DiMera, Days of Our Lives, NBC)
Heather Tom (Katie Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS)
Maura West (Ava Jerome, General Hospital, ABC)
Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos, General Hospital, ABC)
My prediction: Maura West. She is soap royalty, and doesnt get enough credit for what she brings to the table, mainly because it is easy to dislike her role. 2018 was a big year for West as she had a self-realization storyline early in the year, followed by the aftermath of the Dr. Bensch- Kiki assault case, as well as the Kiki-Griffin affair. If not West, I can see Jacqueline Mcinnes Wood or Marci Miller taking the award.
2. Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series

Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott ,The Young and the Restless, CBS)
Tyler Christopher (Stefan DiMera, Days of Our Lives, NBC)

Jon Lindstrom(Ryan/Kevin Collins, General Hospital, ABC)
My prediction: This is was the hardest category for me to decide. I easily had 3 winners but if I had to choose one, it would have to be Jon Lindstrom. It is about time he gets recognized for his talents, and after so much time in the background, Jon Lindstrom got a meaty storyline that happens to be hitting the climax in the next few weeks. He played dual roles, with one role being Dr.Kevin Collins who was kept in Ferncliff and was also blind for a long time, while his identical serial killer twin brother Ryan Chamberlain wreaked havoc on Port Charles. Playing two roles is difficult and not many can pull it off like Lindstrom did.
(My runner-up would be Peter Bergman for his portrayal of Jack Abbott, although it was presumed he wasnt an Abbott, which gave us brilliant acting from Bergman)
3. Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series

Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton, Days of Our Lives, NBC)

My prediction: Martha Madison. I didn't watch too much of Days, but she amazed me in her scenes while Doc was dying.
4. Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
Max Gail (Mike Corbin, General Hospital, ABC)
Bryton James (Devon Hamilton, The Young and the Restless, CBS)
Eric Martsolf (Brady Black, Days of Our Lives, NBC)
Greg Rikaart (Leo Stark, Days of Our Lives, NBC)
Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri, General Hospital, ABC)
My prediction: Even as the oldest in this category, he was a rookie to daytime soaps and he captured our hearts with his portrayal of a man diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Max Gail allowed us to feel his pain, fear and suffering, and this storyline altogether has brought a renewed awareness to a cruel disease.
(My runner-up would be Bryton James, whom I strongly believe will yet again have a great chance to win next year as well)
5. Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series
Hayley Erin (Kiki Jerome, General Hospital, ABC)
Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire Brady, Days of Our Lives, NBC)
Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady, Days of Our Lives, NBC)
Chloe Lanier (Nelle Benson, General Hospital, ABC)
Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks, General Hospital, ABC)
My prediction: I strongly believe that the reigning winner of this category, Chloe Lanier, will yet again be the winner. Her portrayal of Nelle Benson once again haunted Port Charles, specifically the Corinthos-Jacks clan. Her twisted way of bringing pain to others to somehow offset the pain they caused her was intense, especially in the ever entertaining showdowns between Carly and Nelle.
My runner up would be Eden McCoy, who was also linked in this storyline with Nelle and Carly. I'm sure this is the first of many nominations for McCoy.
Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series
Lucas Adams (Tripp Dalton, Days of Our Lives, NBC)
William Lipton (Cameron Webber, General Hospital, ABC)
Kyler Pettis (Theo Carver, Days of Our Lives, NBC)

My prediction: In my opinion, there were no standouts like the other categories. I do see one of the GH boys winning, with it most likely being Garren Stitt.
7. Outstanding Drama Series
Bold and the Beautiful, CBS
Days of our Lives, NBC
General Hospital, ABC
The Young and the Restless, CBS
My prediction: Days and General Hospital really brought the drama. They had some huge storylines that brought some amazing performances, mainly why most of the nominees come from those two shows respectively. I could see GH pulling in the big award, but its definitely there's to lose as well.
