#In terms of characters/story Rebel Moon gave off the impression that it was a summary of a campaign from a discord roleplay server #all the characters have cool backstories mentioned in passing. because your oc has to have a cool backstory #whether or not you have the time/energy to rp arcs/resolutions to your backstory's story #and you've gotta get all your friend's characters in on this campaign because it's fun! #so the movie is the arduous process of Getting The Gang Together #General Titus didnt lead BECAUSE he didnt NEED to lead. that was just the watsonian reason for picking him up! #the REAL reason they wanted him in the guild is that he's the server's meme mascot. i bet theres a custom emoji of his glare #the robot didn't come along because his player dropped out of the campaign #everything is warhammer 40k themed because the server creator liked the aesthetics but hated the mechanics so they just made their own thin #that Noble guy survived falling from a stupid height as a compromise between mods and his player because he whined so much #shitpost #rebel moon #the croods

Introduction

Hi there! My name is Venus and I'll be the one mostly running this Tumblr blog! This story, A Painted Storm, has been cooked up by myself and my good friend, Scrabble! Our characters, Paintedspot and Stormsong, will be the main characters. This story mainly focuses around the clan politics of SkyClan and RiverClan as well as the character's friends and family, and drama within their respective clans, with very little intervention from StarClan.

Paintedspot is a newly named SkyClan warrior and, having been mentored by the deputy, she's always felt like she has to be better. Despite being an overachiever and self-conscious wreck, she manages to be a good warrior for her Clan. However, when tragedy strikes her Clan and she is thrust into a position of power, Paintedspot finds herself faced by new enemies that threaten the stability of SkyClan.

Stormsong, a young RiverClan warrior, is content within her clan. With close friends and family, things are looking up for her as she grows and learns. However, as tensions rise within her clan, she stumbles into something she did not mean to find, which catapults her into the midst of a conspiracy...

I think it’s just a lil bit funny looking back on Epithet Alternate (the goofy little EE roleplay group I did with some friends back in early 2020) cuz we accidentally predicted a couple of things that happened in EE/some future arcs for EE

Our first event was literally a jail break with Indus, Mera, and Ramsey (who didn’t even wanna come with). I don’t think any of us even knew there was gonna be an Actual prison break arc back then— we were still in the Really Early era of EE’s fandom. I think the only difference was that Giovanni was also there bc he accidentally revealed who he was online BANDNSNDNNF

ALSO ACCIDENTALLY PREDICTED GIO TAKING MOLLY AWAY FROM HER UNSTABLE HOME LIFE. THAT’S A BIGGER ONE. Only difference is that instead of hiding out at Crusher’s place, Ramsey helped him get his hands on an apartment. STILL THO. CRAZY AND INSANE.

Maybe it’s just the ability to recognize what would logically make sense as a next step for these characters? Idk! I think it’s a little funny in retrospect
